Yes but only 1/3 of my mined coins are visible.  What is the command to reindex?

Only works with daemon:

spreadcoind -reindex

If this fails I suggest you erase all blockchain data (except ofcourse your wallet.dat and conf file) and let your wallet create a chain from scratch.

@Georgem do you have a bootstrap to help this re-indexing along?  I seem to have around 15000 SPR that I can not get to.  I have tried the reindex, txindex=1, verify, new wallet - import privkey, and resync blockchain.  Nothing works.  When I load the old wallet I can see the SPR sitting there however when I go to transfer or consolidate I get the runtime error as shown in the previous post.  My wallet only recognized around 7900 SPR.  I have been mining it for a couple months now.  Do you think it is possible I have been mining a wrong chain?

It should work automatically, so I think the bug might be in your wallet or something happened during the mining process.

Let's narrow it down:

1) what software did you use for mining?
2) did you mine to the same SPR address always? Or every block its own address?

Ok - I am using SP mod #9 and yes it appears that there is a different address for each mined block

Curious - how do you make it mine to only one address?

Bad news mate. If every block you mined has a different address and you do not keep the exact wallet.dat they were mined to they are lost.
If you want to mine to the same address - put a line in spreadcoin.conf with a line like that:
Code:
miningprivkey=xxxxXXdesired-address-priv-keyXXxx
That is also very NOT secure. If your SPR server's security is breached and the spreadcoin.conf file is accessed maliciously you are done (your address I mean).

yup. thats exactly how I've set up my spreadcoin.conf file.
yeah, I suppose if I were to be hacked I'd be out a dollar or 2.
but so far, my "penny jar" hasnt been attacked   (knock on wood)
apparently hackers are more interested in 3.5 million
ethereum DAO tokens or some such thing  Grin Grin

so the exact syntax is: miningprivkey-spraddress-sprprivkey - in that order with the hyphens?

meaning I need the SPR address and the SPR private key or only the private key?  It is confusing with all of the hyphens.  Thanks - pokeytex

Guys thanks for your amazing support. My integrity is unbreakable. I want fly to be known as the must trusted coin. Last night you might have noticed your wallet crashed for the first time in months. Im quite sure it was griffith trying to gain access to those priv keys, because this is what happend last time. Simply restart. No damage done. Again, thank you all for your amazing support.

Vegas

LOL - Yes mine did crash - I was like - that never happened before! - LOL - all good - restarted and running smooth.

I d like to add opinion of another legendary member to these previous 2 posts. Vegas is 100% honest guy and I respect his work and his efforts. There s no way this guy would steal or scam anyone. Cryptopia on the other hand is very unprofessional business run by only 2 guys, as far as I know. The fact these people re ready to come to some Bitcoin forum and argue at this level does not put any trust into them. So, it s my personal decision never to give them a single satoshi in fees again. I strongly recommend this to anyone who reads this. Unprofessional businesses do not deserve your money.

Agreed - aside from the fact they never sent my 56 Flycoin - no big deal - at this point - they have an extremely unprofessional outlook on business.  Fuck everyone if they don't get their way.  They lump everyone into the same category just for speaking your mind.  To publicly release private keys whether they work or not is way out of line!  I will not use Cryptopia again - ever.  You should remain professional at all times.  If you are accused of something and want to reply then do it professionally.  It makes you and your business look better.  The proof is in the numbers.  No one can dispute it!

@Vegasguy & @Cryptopia - this isn't a playground brawl that we bring our friends to and gang up on people.  That's what this turned into.  Vegas - I have never said anything but niceties about you.  To this day I repeat those niceties.  You are a trustworthy person who has always gone above and beyond.  Yes - you did donate 1000 DMD to me in my time of need.  Yes - the mechanics of Flycoin saved my stash when all of my coins were stolen!  All of those items I confirm.  However, to call "others" out for not standing with you when you are being attacked is once again unprofessional.  You are a coin dev period no matter how you look at it.  You chose to create a coin, fund its development, pay for servers, and release it to the public.  We the people choose to use it.  Cryptopia has decided to create an exchange, pay for servers, and allow the public to use their services.  That's it in a nutshell!  They are products and services and should remain professional at all times.  Yes this is the wild west being decentralized and all but no reason we can't be civil to each other.

Not sure if all of that makes sense but I am working and have little time to re-think what I typed.  Peace out all - be well.

I have been searching around - what is the best thing to mine right now on EVGA Gtx 970's?  Also @sp what is the neoscrypt doing on mod #80 and your private mod?

Ok - I tried the spreadcoin -reindex command with no luck.  Then i deleted everything except the wallet.dat and the .conf file.  I reloaded the blockchain with the same error.  As soon as I go to operate my wallet I get the runtime error.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

Thanks,

Quick question regarding importing the private key.  I recently had a wallet crash and had to rebuild the blockchain.  I imported my private key and now my balance doesn't show correct.  What is the command to get your balance back?  repairwallet and checkwallet do not work?

reindex.

If the error persists I would download a fresh blockchain.

Does your imported SPR address show up in your list at all?

Yes but only 1/3 of my mined coins are visible.  What is the command to reindex?

So unfortunately I had to go back to (5) video cards per rig.  My system kept having driver crashes.  I keep reading that people are running (6) gpu's on a motherboard.  I tried all weekend and could not get it stable.  As soon as I went back to (5) per board all was right with the world.  Weird.  Anyone else have any luck running (6) gpus on a motherboard with Windows 10 Pro - all EVGA Gtx 970's - EVGA 1300 Watt G2 PSU.  All usb powered risers.  Just curious.  Thanks - pokeytex

I don't know what the EVGA cards are set to, but even with the stock TDP, that's getting real close to 1000W at full load for 6 of those.  I'm guessing you're hitting the stable limit of your PSU.  I've always bought 650-1000w PSUs and just either shared the power connectors with the neighboring rig since they're on all the time, or used a dual psu adapter to power the 2nd psu.

I wouldn't want to run 1100+ on a 1300w PSU all the time.  Little over 900 I'd be comfortable with, but not much more.  You could always try dropping the power limit in afterburner or underclocking them and see if it's stable, but definitely look into supplying more power if you're serious.

Actually I was a little suspicious of that as well.  I was using the 80% rule - 80% of 1300 watts = 1040 watts.  I was coming in right around that on the watt meter when I had all (6) cards installed.  I will stick with (5) cards per rig right now since I just purchased these PSU's.  Thank you for the confirmation though.

Wow - Missed all the fireworks. If I read correctly, I am banned from
Cryptopia by tomorrow. All I ever did there was Mine, Buy and Sell coins there.
I just took my last small amount of BTC off the site. I do not believe that
banning someone associated with a coin and, closing their account within
24 hours is an ethical business practice (just my opinion).

Had I not logged on to the FLY thread today, I would have lost the small
amount I had on Cryptopia. After Cryptsy, I don't keep much on any exchange.
But, I am OK with it. I respect Cryptopia's right to provide or not provide service
to anyone. As a business that is their right.

LOL - Woody - while all of that was going on BTC hit $730 a piece!  WHOA!

Cut it out if you want to be taken seriously.

LOL not sure who you are or where you come in the whole scheme of things but you are now on the ignore list.

I don't give a fuck what you think I sound like. This lying scamming piece of shit is intentionally lying about not just his own coin, but about our site and actions, and I'm calling him out for being a lying scamming sack of shit. If you don't like that? Don't use my site, tell other people not to use my site. I don't give a fuck, if the alternative is letting scammy lying sacks of shit and the douchebags that enable that bullshit on my site then fuck that. Don't want you there in the first place.

Understood and I won't.

Don't use Cryptopia, continue to support a scam coin like FLY and its team. You will not be missed.

You don't sound like a business man you sound like a 4 year old right now who didn't get a piece of candy.  Cut it out if you want to be taken seriously.

The coins cant be moved, so publishing the keys is irrelivant

We HAD to to prove the wallet was broken, because only the FLY dev and Cryptopia know that its broken, This is 100% proof the wallet is fucked, it was to clear our name

Hang out with scammer you gonna get burned

Ok - I don't know a lot about how the private keys worked I just thought the dude above stole all of our coins!  That got me pissed.  I really wish someone here would take the high road and just stop!  No more accusations, no more cussing, and no more finger pointing.  Let's all go our separate ways.  Everyone apologize to everyone and chalk it up to agree to disagree.  Too much to ask?

I have a bit over 56 Fly that I was told could not be sent to me!  Now I know I will never use Cryptopia AGAIN!  To release all of our private keys was a huge break of trust!  I was going to let this go as banter between you and Vegasguy but serious Cryptopia - that was a huge mistake!

with novaexchange back online, there is a second exchange given.
hopefully this time, nova does better... it was a good start last time.

I had high hopes for this exchange myself... Relaunching after a hack, I like that actually.. Shows some dedication, and love for the business imo Wink
We'll see how it goes!

I needed some time to work on my explorers the last few weeks.. Time to get back to work on CHIP

btw..  Smiley

This is a rough draft table that we have put together. I want to discuss it and change it if you feel something needs to be changed for the next few weeks, until we can all decide and what we want.

Here are my reasons for the table presented:

1. The goal is to get as many coins locked away for the longest periods. The reason is less on the exchange on the sell side. LESS coins "in the wild" coupled with demand equals higher prices. The demand will come from those that want the higher interest rates of fly. They will need more fly to qualify for the higher rates. Here is the good news. There is not even close to enough fly to go around. So a very tiny few will have the luxury of the very high interest rates, protecting inflation. There will also be many choices. I dont want everyones locked coins to mature at the same time, so thats why I created many options. All of this is up for discussion. Keep in mind the higher interest rates available to more people the more coins in circulation, and the coins YOU have will be worth less. Also if your planning on participating in HODL and you dont have the min required for the term you want, now would be a great time to put buy orders in or outright buy the coins, as I believe on this news the price will rise with buying pressure from those getting ready to have their minim ready for the release. So, thats something to keep in mind. Also the % shown that you lock for will compound every single day , just as if it was unlocked. Like HODL it will show you the compounded balance as it changes in real time. Some people look at the richlist and see myself as a massive holder of my own coins and see this as a threat. Its ONLY a threat when you dont know who that holder is AND its a short term coin they plan to dump on you 1 month after release. The fact that I am STILL buying more of my own coins when I already have a massive amount should tell you a WHOLE lot. Im buying daily, and have NEVER sold. There is a message hidden in there Smiley Ok its not so hidden. It means, I would be crazy to leave that massive amount behind and abandon my project. So your stuck with me. I cant and wont be going anywhere. Its there to PROVE my faith in this project. I also know as time goes on, the price will only go up at a steady , healthy pace on its own, naturally. The day will come when I do slowly start selling, and it will ALWAYS be listed on the sell side in moderate amounts over a long period, and it will never be used to hurt the price. Yes, I have invested an enormous amount of my own money into this, but I have even invested more time than money. I would never desecrate the work that myself and team fly have put into this project for the past year. Notice the top 3 holders also do not sell. Do they know something, you dont? Wink

Here is an actual screen shot of the HODL coin. Notice the table at the bottom thats filled with important data. Ours will have the same data, so youll have all the details you would ever want to know in real time.

Guys if its not clear already. Look at my ACTIONS. Ive been here working every day relentlessly on making fly the best it can ever be. As the project ages, it will become more popular as people will realize the short term pump and dump, newbie dev crap, is 1 winner (newbie runaway dev), and the rest all eat losses. My promise and oath to you, is I will never do anything to purposefully hurt you, or break your trust.

Vegas

Very interesting - you could almost set this up like a CD ladder.  Where new income is coming in every month!  At least that is how I see it working?  Correct me if I am wrong.

Behold, it's time for another episode of GPU ("Gear Porn Unlimited"):

Built a 2-story shelf, each floor holds 4 motherboards,
one floor for AMD-GPUs,
the other for NVidia-GPUs.

A selection of NVidia-GPUs and PSUs should arrive soon...

Ooooo!  Very nice!  Gonna get real hot in that room real fast!  LOL  - winter will be great!  I just completed my first (6) gpu rig.  I always limited myself to 5 GPU's but I got a better power supply and upgraded my processor.  Works like a charm.  https://twitter.com/pokeytex/status/741091959419310081
