After stalking at inbizin's profile and merit history I found out that xandry (staff in Russian board) almost gave 103 Merits to inbizin' s posts (almost all of posts that received merits has been deleted) in the last 120 days. I don't know if this is a fair distribution of Merits but I smell something fishy around here.

Fixing this kind of issue immediately will save the Meta section from these shitposters. Spammers are now having good time posting shitposts here in meta section and it is starting to be their hobby as shitposts are being generated here daily. We can't just let this problem get any worse.

I can't recommend any solution for now but maybe moderators has something to do with it. This is a serious problem.

Yeah, it's not really fair that even Meta section is now getting compromised by shitposters. Meta section is the only place I usually hang out as discussions are pretty good here but these days, shitposters are starting to conquer it.

I think it's a Quick Edit of your post. I don't know if this is already been here for days, month or years but I only noticed it today. If you guys don't know it yet, just go to one of your post and you will find it in the right side of it. I searched about "quick reply" of this forum but I cannot find any discussions about it that's why maybe this is new.

I have the basic answer to your question. NO, Merit System will not be remove no matter how many times you make complaints about it. If you don't like Merits System, then it is much better if YOU will be the one who will be remove. if you wanna stay, then please, for your own sake, stop making nonsense threads like these. People will only hate you because of what you're doing. Geeez.

I got your point and there is no reason for me to disagree. It's just sad that the first candidate from our local board will be denied because of his own mistake. Well, I can't do anything to change the situation, it's already done, it's just up to theymos whether to accept his application or not. But still, wishing him luck.

I'm one of the candidate's supporter who received merit from him from my post in his application thread but I didn't expect that he will Merit it. If it really is a conflict of interest then it would be a problem right? But in my own opinion, I can't see something wrong about it (but I can't deny if there really is something wrong). Well, he's still not a Merit Source that's why I believe that maybe he can still change it.

Just try to reach the amount of Merits required and I can assure you that you will rank up without worrying the activity  You still have 430 merits to go but you will have no trouble receiving it as I can sense that you are also one good poster.

How if Newbies and Jr. Members (I chose Newbies and Jr. Members because they are often used in bounties and spamming) need to recaptcha everytime when they will post? This will somehow give them hard time posting and also to stop bots account.

Newbies are having good time posting/spamming in the forum with just 360 seconds time interval which is equal to 240 post per day, how if they will solve a captcha first before posting their post? I'm sure that they will be annoyed but it is for the forum's sake, let's just see if this idea will somehow decrease spams.

Wow, you got a nice thread buddy. Actually I been working at making signature before but because I'm a little busy at other stuffs, I didn't make it to become a Signature designer to start a service. I just found this thread by stalking at your posts which are actually "good posts" and so glad that I made to see this one. I'm studying a lot of Signature guides before but this thread of yours have some additional important details and much better to understand since its Tagalog.

This is way too helpful bud, I will try to make some Signatures again sometime. I just wished that thesis doesn't exist at college life, although I'm not yet starting in our project, thinking and worrying about how to start it made me feel so old.

This proves that we Filipino are really active in this forum. If you guys (from different country) will only visit our local board you will be able to find out that there are lot of quality posts and active discussions out there that deserves a lot of merits as well, but lacking of sources. This Merit Source applicant from Philippines have good intentions that's why I hope Admin won't hesitate to accept our applicant's application.
We may have Dabs and rickbig41 as merits source but they're also pretty busy at moderating that's why we understand their infrequent presence of distributing Merits. I'm sure that even our moderator will support our applicant.

I suggest you to use "self moderated" whenever your going to create threads like this to prevent unwanted replies. Spam replies will make your thread looks so messy.

Or maybe just another alt account used for spamming. Look at his/her post history, they're way too horrible compared to nullius (who is the real Genius at all time). Also look at his/her post (the one that received a lot of merits) it doesn't contain anything worth of meriting. It's more likely he received merits for just advertising this "nessi.io". But, from seoincorporation's "post ratings" it will past "not bad" in my taste.

I have some doubts that one of these people who sent merits to that account is the real owner of this nessie.io account. By looking at the profile of his/her merit senders, you will something suspicious after visiting at this one.

But I'm not so sure and I'm not accusing anyone. I just smell something fishy.

As a fellow citizen, I will speak for the sake of our fellow High ranked Members. How can you assure that they're not giving merits? Just because you can't see anyone from our local high rank members distributing merits in posts in our local board? Yeah it's a little bit unfair but I'm sure that they still distribute their merits, maybe not to us from our local but in other members of this forum from different country. I think it will be too much unfair if they only give merits to members from our local board whilst there are people in other places who deserves merits as well. Distributing merits doesn't depend on what country or local board you belong, it depends on the quality of posts of members who will be distributed.

But I do agree to this one. Yeah, there are really some good posts/threads in our local board that takes (I guess) days to complete but only receives less than 5 Merits (which is somehow enough I guess, but posters have different expectations of number of merits they're expecting to receive). They are very informative, unique and full of effort as well. But don't worry, as long as I have sMerits to send, I won't hesitate to merit it.

I'm afraid that I may not fulfill my full responsibility if happens that I became a merit source. I don't really like failures from my own hands, that's why I'll pass from it.
