381  Economy / Speculation / Re: When new ATH? When moon? on: November 03, 2021, 10:54:48 PM
Ath needs enough volume to meet the sell orders and I have chosen next year due to btc possessing less chances to break the ath again this year. I don't want btc to give a moonshot and then fall like there is no tomorrow. Btc had been giving profits, now it will bring some sorrow so it shouldn't make a big difference when you know what may happen. The season is not over, but the bulls are under super high confidence and that's when, bears hammer them.
382  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are we coming to the 5th wave? on: November 03, 2021, 09:51:16 PM
Bitcoin looks strong and ready to break the ath once again, how can bears take control? I thought it that way until I watched one video explaining why we could have one big dip before btc can continue its final leg to make a new ath. I can take Alessio Rastani's words as a big warning sign for me not to fall in greed and stop thinking that market can even fall back and once it falls, my greed will make me lose my biggest wins during the bull run. This is not the end but a correction will be there for sure because markets have been very merciful for traders last 1 and half months, there will be time markets will take back everything.
383  Economy / Economics / Re: Steam bans blockchain games on: November 03, 2021, 09:36:42 PM
Steam took this decision? Good for them.
If steam has banned blockchain games, it means they have opened doors for those games to market their projects themselves. It may be difficult, but it will be helpful for the growth of games that are p2e and token based. Steam wants games with real money trading experience but didn't understand the potential that these new small games hold inside them.
384  Economy / Economics / Re: Simple reason why crypto is preferred over fiats on: October 30, 2021, 11:11:07 PM
Blockchain and bitcoin both cannot give us complete decentralised experience because blockchains are open ledgers, transparent except for coins like monero and bitcoin transactions are transparent, making it pseudonymous till we take every possible step to remain anonymous. However, you said true that btc's value does not remain stable and that is the innovative part because the value of our money increases if it is invested in cryptocurrencies, but fiat remains the same and after charges, it only reduces. But we 'invest' in crypto because cryptocurrencies are like stocks and not currencies, so comparison is not possible.
385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gearing up for alt season on: October 30, 2021, 10:10:56 PM
Which alt season are you talking about?  Cheesy
The present alt season that we are going through? Or the season you are expecting to come? It seems you did not make it to achieve any profits during this season which was in its rally since months. Check values of Sand, Mana, Dydx, Shib (shit, I can't imagine I'm using this name as an example), Sol, Dot, 1inch, etc. Take any coins you had on your favorite list last year and check the difference by opening their Daily charts. All of them are minimum 5x and you are waiting for an alt season yet?
386  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach $100,000 in December? on: October 30, 2021, 09:32:52 PM
Btc is on a spree after it went mainstream and various influencers started talking about it with their subscribers.
Maintaining $60k floor right now is a big question and I am curiously waiting for 1st Nov to see the reaction of the markets. If btc breaks the present all time high of $67k, it has a higher probability of breaking $80k to $85k first as the higher the price, the more money it needs to climb up to there. According to the latest stats at Infinite Market Cap, Gold is above 5 times the market cap of btc, while investors are moving towards crypto through various channels, btc may see $100k soon.
387  Other / Meta / Re: No begging - did I catch on rule #7 on: October 30, 2021, 08:46:12 PM
Somebody suggested you to contact Royse777 for this, did you ask him?
I saw that irfan_pak10 was also ready to help you out, did you talk to him?
Why didn't you go to the local fundraising programs which could help you by verifying this for you and making the documents publicly available about your Uncle's situation?
You must have gathered something till now if you had done any of these.
388  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Weekend Trading, how do you feel about it? on: October 30, 2021, 08:23:26 PM
Markets are more volatile during weekdays, but dangerous during weekends. It is not a good idea to touch cryptocurrencies during weekends and it is my personal opinion because traders tend to take their coins out for profits or for their personal use, so a big number of sales can be observed during weekends which will make me depressed as I don't like most of markets to be in red. All the profitable positions sink during weekends and some traders sell under loss too.
389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Timing is important on: October 30, 2021, 07:55:56 PM
the signal can't be 100% profitable, but in this case the signal can give us preparation before we jump into that position. By analyzing the pattern of coin movement in a daily, weekly, month or year time, we can determine the signal for the coin. so signal combined with manual analysis is better than anything

Signals can also give you wrong indications sometimes.
If you are in the middle of a trend, sometimes you see the signal shows that the uptrend is likely to continue and you buy, but the signal turns out as false and you regret buying at the wrong time.
When btc was $250, I did not buy it waiting for the 'right time' but it never came. I always made excuses to myself that not today, but tomorrow I will buy at this price but it did not happen. Even today, if btc touches $70k then it will be high over 10%, so should I not regret? Times are always right, we need to time it well and keep patience.
390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your strategy to carry on making money when Bitcoin turns bearish on: October 29, 2021, 11:56:56 PM
Short the markets, but not btc.
If btc turns out to be bearish some time later, money will not only be taken out from btc but alts, and alts will fall very fast than btc as the volume on btc is higher compared to end volume of alts. Spikes will also take place when markets tend to go stable and mainly btc, that is when you must stop trading and wait for the top before the fall continues again.
391  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: For those who think that they caught the moment when it's late to buy on: October 29, 2021, 11:17:43 PM

for them to be able to borrow for futures trading they will have to own some first which means they first have to buy. 😀

This is not about margin borrowing, op talked about futures trading and you need to transfer usdt to start shorting any coin.

Quote
the reason why they think its too late to buy is because of the price of BTC. 63k for 1BTC is really heavy for someone.  they have not learned about BTC while its cheap or they were confused because they thought BTC was scam since the media made it appear as scam.

Media misrepresented btc everywhere as a ponzi.
Even when scammers took the advantage of crypto, media showed that btc was such type of cryptocurrency that moves out of your wallet without your consent and a scammer can easily scam you as the security is weaker. I don't think it is the btc price that stops anybody to buy, but their inverse mentality. Those traders started thinking since 2011, "Oh my gosh! Btc is $30? This is very high and it will die soon."
"So, crashed? I told you, this won't be in the markets for long time."
Then came traders from 2013, then 2017 and now.
If they will keep thinking and won't take risky decisions, they will not even short due to lack of courage and discouragement from others too about its price and bull run ending and again, a fall. I have a tip (not a financial advice) for traders, either buy and make money this bull run or wait till the next 4 years to get a chance again.
392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to buy BNB at the right time? on: October 29, 2021, 10:22:49 PM
today bnb coin is pump
bnb price incraese is high, so if today you buy is not good time
need wait correction price is good until price under 350dollar/bnb

You know very well that for bnb to be bought at $350, btc must also be dumped to under $50k, right?
Follow this - 'I will not wait for the markets to correct but buy today because, today is the time while it is cheap and it will be worth many dollars tomorrow'.
If you will wait, you will wait forever and miss every opportunity that is there in front of you. Taking it or not is your choice, but read Op with open eyes to understand that when a pool is set up for a new project launching on their launchpad under their bsc blockchain, traders will buy bnb with lots of volume to subscribe for it. Check the subscriptions that took place on binance launchpad, they were always over-subscribed. During these moments and times when binance burns its native coins, bnb will never fall.
393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your top coin to invest in for passive income? on: October 29, 2021, 09:59:03 PM
These are all great information that people shared, there are shitcoins in there but when you have been around for a long time, it becomes something that you get used to after a while and can see them easily.

I get to see hundreds of new projects coming out daily with billions and even trillions in supply. Some of them also give more than 30-2000x depending on the team's legitimacy and seriousness behind 'shilling' about it.

Quote
I personally believe that we should not be doing something that is risky in the crypto world so should be careful, specially with things that propose constant income since it is such a tough thing to achieve. As long as you hit one that is long term and has been around for a while, then you are going to be mostly fine, or at least weave the bad ones out.

Shitcoins also have their time, and their time is now if I'm not wrong. Shiba Inu is one example of how a shitcoin can become hope of today's trader. I see them talking that this coin could be even worth $1 (totally unrealistic).

Quote
The ones that promise the heavens for you and been around for just 3 weeks are the shit ones, sure they may reach to years and years eventually, and getting early could mean a lot, imagine if you got into cake on early days, but why risk it? For every cake, there are 1000's of shitcoins, so pick the ones that offer a decent return and has been around for many years.

None of the coins which promise heaven are good, but taking early advantage and leaving that coin forever is a prudent decision a trader must make. Learning how to play with these shitcoins can also make a fortune to the guy who trades it.

I will never go all in on these shitcoins but putting $10 or $20, or even $50 is not a big deal if the team is doxxed and the token is hyped a lot as it may bring me $500 which can help me gain 75% of my monthly expenses. Shitcoins are not to be taken seriously but they have potential, and without taking risks, fortunes can't be made. Wink
394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice against plako or slot on: October 29, 2021, 09:35:51 PM
Gamblers who love rolling images will choose slots over dice and gamblers who love dice will play dice only. There are lots of gambling casinos which offer only dice games and some simple 'original' games to play there. I like dice and don't have money to lose on slots because the rolling images (slots) need very strong luck over dice where I can have better chances of winning if rolled at 49.5%. And to be honest, I don't like both of them too much, but plinko. Rolling balls are much more fun than seeing rolling images because the suspense created takes a bit more time in it.
395  Other / Off-topic / Re: Facebook Plan To Rebrand Name To Meta on: October 29, 2021, 09:12:23 PM
Facebook and its subs WhatsApp and Instagram have been both under the question of leaking users' data and selling them. Rebranding its name to 'Meta' proves that they are diverting people's attention by bringing the subject of Metaverse between what they were facing. Zuckerberg claimed somewhere that this (Metaverse) had been a long-thoughtabout subject since over a decade so he wanted to bring virtual reality in Facebook but the reality is, he stole the idea of Facebook then and now trying to steal Metaverse.
396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: S.S. LAZIO Up BINANCE on: October 28, 2021, 11:47:33 PM
There has been a launchpad of Lazio in Binance.
I joined it but only get very small Lazio  Cheesy Cheesy

Due to oversubscription. I too wanted to take part but missed it, though I hope that your investment in committed bnb was released and you are out with some profits.

Quote
But well, now the price has decreased, and also the hype is only short enough.

It is in the beginning phase, yet it will correct more before it goes up once more.

Quote
But if it is for long-term tokens, I am not sure enough, many things need to be considered about this. And I prefer to only utilize the hype token during the launchpad and then sell them to take profits.

If you can hodl, better keep them because the hype for fan tokens has not taken off yet. Once the fan tokens hype build up, I think Lazio can reach $50 on its next run depending on circulating supply.
397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fiat-betting to crypto+betting on: October 28, 2021, 11:28:20 PM
You do have a lot of advantages, but not those that are on your list.

1. Most of the crypto casino will require you to go through some sort of KYC. So you no longer remain "private".

Which fiat casino lets you take out your money without kyc?
And for crypto casinos, they will let you play and take your money without kyc till some extent. Nobody can remain private on 'centralized exchanges' also if they want to sell their coins on that platform. Where goes the privacy then?

Quote
Fiat casinos have better gambling options in my opinion. But Crypto casinos are catching up.

If fiat casinos have better gambling options, I also know about some fiat casinos which started taking crypto as a form of deposit and withdrawal to allow more convenience to their customers.

Quote
3. More varied but most of them are almost identical.

I hope you are not referring to slots as they are all the same to me. Besides that, live betting also have look-alikes but we see fresh faces after visiting them though the game remains same everywhere.

Quote
4. How is crypto better any different than fiat betting? It's all the same. Just different mode of payment.

Almost no difference, except the speed. If you do a wire transfer vs if you do a crypto deposit.

Quote
5. Makes no sense.

Why doesn't it make any sense? Crypto gives you the freedom to bet from anywhere while some fiat betting sites stop you from using them due to your country's regulations or your country being in their restricted list.
398  Economy / Economics / Re: Just because prices are high, doesn't mean that is a good investment. on: October 28, 2021, 11:00:38 PM
Bitcoin is not a company, nor is it owned by own. You are free to keep or sell it. It is people who decide the value of btc.

Your title also applies on coins with low prices and market capitalisations. Bitcoin had been here for more than a decade, its value went up after going dead many times. In other words, it revived. Take out any altcoins from the list and show me if any of them proved to have the potential to do a comeback like btc did? Btc was said to be a bubble before, but now, institutions are putting in their money to incentivise this market and all of its new aspects. Crypto is not btc alone, but crypto is nothing without btc. So this superiority gives btc an advantage over others and gives it a reason to be unique and rule over. Internet changed everything but nobody was ready to get adapted to it, but crypto has given all of us a great opportunity to change our future with our hands. I cannot speak about other coins but btc can give guaranteed* returns on your investment at any price bought.

* Based on historical performance.
399  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: FTX Review: The Best New Crypto Derivatives Platform on: October 28, 2021, 10:47:43 PM
FTX is a great exchange imho as it gives me the freedom to trade on any markets including futures, predictions, options, volatility, etc. even without the need to move my funds from main account to margin account, futures account, etc. because everything is inbuilt and robust and unlike other exchanges where I need to move them from here to there (many different types for different purposes) to trade them on a unique market. It quickly converts my money to any currency for least fees in the wallet area only, no need to go to the trading area for that.
400  Economy / Reputation / Re: 1xBit campaign is starting again. on: October 28, 2021, 09:19:55 PM
Do we really need to have one more topic about 1xBit campaign?
There is already one or more created by JollyGood so in this way it looks to me that we are only giving them more free advertisement.
As the saying goes - there is no such thing as bad publicity.

I agree. 1xbit is given unnecessary attention every time a member tries to talk about them. There is no bad publicity, but an open proclamation will help the bad guys to gain exposure. But this proclamation is also giving newbies and investors, various insights of how this site had been the reason why major accounts also got tagged as 1xbit's reputation helped ruin those accounts that participated in their campaign due to the dirt that has mudded them.
