Just curious, is mine? I'm pretty sure I've picked up a few ignores. How can you tell now
Yours is clear. It will show you your color and approximate number of ignores by your posts. Mine is pale yellow and says I have 10-21 ignores (it was completely clear until I started warning people about the bubble here in the speculation subforum ).

Getting close to the post crash low... *live graph* looks about right.....

This period of price decline since the bubble hit its peak *is* a bear market.

Hahahahahahahahahahaha, great job!!

knowing how Bitcoin will cause deflation in the long run wouldn't it be best to put your attention on saving rather than taking losses now, not everyone is a trader?
There is no guarantee the price will ever raise this high again. "Saving" could be throwing good money after bad. Sure and I thought $30 in 2013 was a wild dream, so are you buying, selling or holding? Buying if the price gets low enough, Selling BTC I made from flipping a few XRP today, and Holding onto USD in the meantime.

today and tomorrow only! get yer cheap bitcoins!
I'll wait for the 98%+ sale in a few months, thanks. Hahahahahahahahahahahaha

If you think I am going to buy back in and tie up my money on some betting site I have never heard of while the price is tanking and in a bear market, you are insane.
If (and when) I won, I could potentially lose more in BTC value than I'd win on the bet. Its a bad bet.

Oh no! Bitcoin dropped to 'only' $80, you guys trolling around on the boards do realise that's for one fucking Bitcoin right? It's a bit like a billionaire losing a million, they'll just shrug because they're making more than that each year anyway, I'm going to laugh my head off if it bounces up again.
You realize its not done going down, right?

I agree that we're entering a bear market and i've too cashed out waiting for cheaper coins but what makes you think that?
I'm simply stating that future price is uncertain. There is no guarantee the prices will ever go back up any significant amount once we hit bottom. Maybe the prices will rise again naturally or maybe we will see another bubble and crazy high prices, but it is just as likely that the price stagnates or drifts down to fractions of a penny.

If someone's not selling at 200 they'd be nuts to do it at 70s.
Hold.
We wont be in the 70s long. We may never see a price this high again, or if we do it could be a very long time from now...its best to lock in profits while you can (especially when there is a very good chance you'll be able to buy back in at a lower price.)

(you should've done this at $200+)

It is (or will be) a buying opportunity.
At or near the bottom, yes. Buying on the way down is risky and leaves you open to get burned hard.

On downtrend,You take a smaller loss by selling at lower price than purchased.
That's not what shorting is. Definition of 'Short Selling' The selling of a security that the seller does not own, or any sale that is completed by the delivery of a security borrowed by the seller. Short sellers assume that they will be able to buy the stock at a lower amount than the price at which they sold short. http://www.investopedia.com/terms/s/shortselling.aspTo short, you need to use a trading platform that allows margin trading, or you can do it through private loans and sales.

bitfinex or private loans.

Nah, I think the top is in, and the bubble is popping.
We are solidly into "the long slow slide to singles" territory now, IMO. Still plenty of profit opportunities on the way down, though if you dont mind catching falling knives.
|
|
|
your system wont work if it crashes big time
The orders are much heavier at the bottom in singles than they are at the top, if it crashes hard my cost basis will be low enough to profit on the bounce (or at the worse case, I have to carry a few BTC for the mid term).
