Unfortunately it often says
"Insufficient funds"
So how do you attract users coming back?

I think the maintenance fee is $0.001551 not $0.00163 per GH per day
Yeah, sorry. I quoted the original data, they lowered the maint. fee a few weeks ago. Corrected it.

Cloud mining era seems to be disappear soon
That's why a lot of new ponzis / hyip / investment sites appear as people start to look for other investment types. No matter if cloud mining or other investments, in the end you mostly have less coins than before as they are run away with your funds or take profit from high fees.

For the ones not familiar how AMHash calculates the dividends, here's the formula:
--
Payout calculation Payouts are done daily.
The payout rate before fee subtraction is 25/ (difficulty * 4.295) BTC per unit per second.
The fee is 1.89*10^(-8) USD per unit per second. It will be subtracted from the pre-fee payout rate. The exchange rate is based on bitstamp.net 24h average.(=maintenance fee is $0.001551 per GH per day)
The total seconds of each payout is:
1. in the first payout, 3,600 * 24.
2. During normal payouts, the number of seconds during the most recent payout to this payout.
If there is a difficulty change between two payouts, the due payout will be calculated based on two different difficulties and their corresponding time intervals.
--
As the price started to increase approx. 20h ago, I guess they calculated with the lower price before. Where does bitstamp display the 24h average price?

Just a thought:
What about, like Magi, a M7M PoW/PoS hybrid so Nobl could be merge mined with Magi? Or doesn't that make sense due to the hashpower? More security this way that transactions are processed fast enough.

It mines what you tell it via config file. If your .bat file says only to mine scrypt, it only mines scrypt.
There is a CPUminer edition for gridseed with a parameter single (only scrypt) or dual (for both modes). And like you mentioned the -scrypt parameter for other miner software.

I have just received my payment from AMHash. Thank you, AMHash!

so is this the paycoin that is with paybase or is that the gaw paycoin
The paycoin connected to paybase (GAW) is XPY. PYC is the original paycoin and has no connections to paybase or gaw.

Love the new x64 Magi Wallet, it runs way better (and faster) on Win 7 x64! Thanks!
Glad to know it's working well. Just started the new wallet for the first time, Win7 64, works without any problems.

hash rate seems to have dropped off quite a bit. Impossible, my 20 GH/s BFL jalapeno is still mining

Btc panic-sell = bad sell -- other coins will feel that also. Magi can use this moment to grow. Other people will invest in Magi. Bitstamp is also back online.
I'm sorry, i could not resist buying, bought 17K. I don't hear someone complaining about good prices to buy, especially as soon the payment gateway will be launched.

What is pow and pos?! I am mining with my quad core now and have accumulated 25 coins in a pool. It is a new place for me and i feel i am in deep sea Welcome to the magi community. Good to have you with us. PoW = proof of work = mining coins with hardware PoS = proof of stake = leave your wallet open, secure the blockchain (finding blocks to process transactions) https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Proof_of_Stake detailed explanation Transfer the 25 coins into your Magi wallet and stake them via the explanation provided here to get more coins and support the network. If you have further questions, don't hesitate to ask. That's why we are here.

whatsup with the price Unfortunately it's following the price of BTC and other coins. People are panic and selling crypto to FIAT. At Cryptsy, BTC crashed down from $281 to $222 in the last 24h.

Thanks guys. I didn't receive a mail, so I wasn't aware that.

what a dickhead.
after telling people to accumulate SYS ("whales will pump monday or tuesday") and create a hype to start the pump, you simply state: "Sorry, whales will not pump". So your whales and you could dump on your members, awesome. And for such great deals you ask for 0.25 BTC per month? Are you serious?

So we can run two different wallets on one pc to solve the issue above? How do we go about allowing two wallets to exist on the same pc?
No need of two wallets (you can't run two either); simply send over 500 XMG six times (assuming total 3000 XMG) to one or different addresses. ah ok, so basically setup another receiving address in the same wallet. I got confused by the statement above. havoc of jet lag making my brain dumb You CAN run two wallets, you just don't need to. Hello wolf0, nice to see you watching this thread

While nearly all coin are going the same way - invest in expensive hardware to increase the hashrate for every single miner - Magi goes the opposite way. Magi is a CPU only coin (PoW/PoS) with a variable block reward design. The higher the total hashrate (i.e. botnets, GPU miners if there should be any,...), the lower the block reward so that it's less profitable to put huge hashrate in. With this design, it's trying to achieve decentralization as the best device for mining would be a usual home computer. So far, there are still some big players in, causing a lower block reward. But I'm sure they soon will leave for something that makes them more profit. I don't say it's the new BTC, the perfect or best coin ever. No such marketing stuff is needed. It's an interesting concept with a hard working developer, consumes less power than many other coins and probably I step in the right direction. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=735170.0believe it or not - i use MORE power to use a cpu at 100% than a 750ti oc card ... most cpus run at around 100W ( more 125W these days ) at 100% while the gigabyte 750ti oc cards run at 60W at 100% ... and process a HUGE amount more ... go figure #crysx That's why the developer provides a feature to decrease the CPU usage. If you don't want to let it run on 100%, set it lower. Like I said, I didn't claim the coin being perfect, but it's going an interesting way. Of course, someone who invested x,xxx or more in mining hardware, prefers the other way.
