381  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do coaches get sacked over poor performance of players? on: February 11, 2024, 05:16:54 PM
Plenty of people gave the reasons, but I still think that a worker point of view is the rightest one. If the company is not doing good, is it because of one employee, would be able to fire 20 employees and hire new 20 people and hope that it would do fine?

I mean laying off people exists, and waiving players too, but firing your workers and getting new ones all at once never exists, it never happens, I haven't heard about it. Whereas, firing the manager that does worse, and then hiring a new one is simpler. Doesn't mean it would be solved. Like look at United for example, ETH is not a great manager ı can give you that, but not like United has a good team neither, they really suck with each player and for each position as well.
382  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trading or Long term on: February 11, 2024, 03:52:33 PM
Most people think that you have to do one or the other. Just do whatever you want, wake up, go check the prices, go check the market, go check your balance and decide what you want to do. If you want to trade that day? Then great, go trade some that day, if you don't want to trade and just hold? Great then just hold. You could think of BTC as the only coin that you need, so never keep your money at stablecoisn or fiat for too long but aside from that the rest is understandable situations to be fair.

There is no reason to pick or choose, just do whatever you seem to think would be the best way and you could end up doing that, it would not be all that confusing and not all that life breaking situation if you do one or the other.
383  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When is the best time to trade a Bitcoin on: February 11, 2024, 02:10:21 PM
That depends on where you look at it, but there are bull periods which should be the best time to invest, obviously. That doesn't mean that you shouldn't invest in any other time, but it is definitely not a difficult period to make money. Look at the last 2 days or so, it has gone to 47k+ right? That means if you were trading during that time, you would have made money. You do not have to know it before hand, you just need to start trading meanwhile and you would make some money.

I think it's quite important to make some good income with it, and that should very well be the most important part. I believe that it is going to take some time, but it will not be all that impossible to see it change, we need to just focus on the ups.
384  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which sort of investor are you? on: February 11, 2024, 01:09:06 PM
It is clear that we are talking about a situation that would help us on the long run, it is going to be helpful for everyone. It is going to be a situation where it would take a big load off people to know what is perfect for them. Just because some other person made some money with some other method, doesn't mean that you should do that neither, you should avoid that as much as you can, and just find your own method if you can. This would give you a good amount of chance to make some money.

If you keep focusing on what others do, then you will not find what you are good at but if you keep testing many stuff until you find what you like, that would be quite good for you because eventually you will find a way to make money.
385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SEC likely to approve spot Ethereum ETFs on May 23 on: February 09, 2024, 08:31:53 PM
I believe that SEC working towards making crypto ETF's a reality is not really a big deal, it has to do with what they are going to do with what happens afterwards. Sure ETF could see some attention at first but that doesn't mean that it will be the most important part right away, it has to work a bit longer for that to work before we get there.

I believe that the best thing to do in this case would be just letting it be and you could actually come up with a good return. I hope that life would be fair towards ETF investors but the reality is that we could see it drop as well. Not this year, not next year neither, because we will have a bull season, but then we are going to end up with something that would be a lot worse.
386  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: February 09, 2024, 08:09:34 PM
I do agree that City, looks like they may end up with a win and I think that would be lovely for them because this could very well be the last season they are having this much fun.

There is a potential that they could end up with some type of ban, not like from football or anything, I mean points deduction and even maybe demoted as well. If that does happen regarding their financial situation, then in that situation we are going to see them lose a lot of players, not every player will stay because of this, and they will leave, and City would have financial struggled put on them as well so they will fail to get stars, and this could result badly for them. Or maybe they will be like Juventus and get promoted and go on a big winning run again.
387  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you think? Lump sum vs DCA best accumulation strategy. on: February 09, 2024, 07:25:31 PM
Well, I prefer and practice both. When there are blood on streets, I just go for lumpsum investments in the situations like Jan 2015 and Dec 2018 but not with all my available funds at single price level. I simply try to harvest bottom prices with all my year long savings. After each halving I start DCA until following year's December month. After each ATH, I stop DCA to save money until halving for getting ready for lumpsum investment.

It is like I go for DCA in the confirmed bullish markets and I again try to DCA at bottom price levels but with bigger funds than my usual DCA funds. Importantly, I skip DCA during bearish markets. Probably what I am doing many not be qualified to call as DCA still I guess DCA cannot be a regular year long process like most investors do skip one or two months per year but I do skip for continuous 15+ months.
388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 8 Red flags crypto Investment, Avoid when you see this on: February 09, 2024, 04:45:03 PM
Honestly, even though this list is correct, I am pretty sure that there are even more stuff that people could list. It's just so obvious at times that a project is a scam one, but when it is not and it looks like the team is working on it like crazy, that changes some stuff and it ends up not being all that crazy. So, we should consider the possibility that we may end up with some troubles, it's not going to end up with anything that would benefit everyone, it has to be something that may not be all that easy.

I think it's clear that we are going to end up with some benefit if we are careful, and for that we need to end up with learning how to avoid all these scams, it has to be something that would not be easy to handle at all.
389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Gamefi Token coming back to live? on: February 09, 2024, 02:58:04 PM
Nope. I know that many will think that they are, but they are not, and it is not going to work, we should not really expect anything from it. I get that it may feel like it is going to be fine, but it is not going to be fine and it is not coming back.

The situation with GameFi type of stuff is that even when they are hyped a lot, they are not getting anything bigger, and this means that they will crash eventually without a doubt. I get that it is going to be a tough situation to handle, and we are going to end up with more difficult situations. So all in all, I think it's clear that we are going to end up with no gamefi resurgence of any kind. There could be a few that gets hyped, but all of them will crash and none of them will stay strong.
390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the next step for Solana? on: February 09, 2024, 01:16:43 PM
SOL isn't one of those coins that would live all by itself without the market situation changing. Let's be honest with each other, we are talking about a coin that only works if gas fee's of other coins are high, so that means SOL just needs to keep the situation going for themselves, and it will make it look good.

I get that it is not going to be simple, and I get that it is not going to be all that well, but as long as we handle it well enough, it is going to be fine. I believe that we need to keep the situation going by using them to move money around. Something that would be even better is dealing greatly with stablecoins, they need to make people use stablecoins to transfer via their SOL chain, that would make it even bigger if people mainly use SOL for that.
391  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: February 08, 2024, 09:00:53 PM
PSG beating Brest wasn't really a shocker, everyone knew that would be the result, the real story is with Lyon and the fact that they won. They look like they are closer to relegation zone, but they are also playing like a totally different revived team as well. I think they may actually have a chance to finish mid table if they keep this up.

I think PSG getting the double can't really be all that much of a big story, they are the best team and they SHOULD be able to do that, it's actually a story if they fail, not when they win. I think as long as PSG fails to get UCL, nothing else would be a reason to be happy, with that much money on the table they are still failing to win it, and they are building a team all the time and each of the versions has failed.
392  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Selling a property to play gamble on: February 08, 2024, 08:04:44 PM
I have met with someone like this, he didn't sell his house to gamble, but he gambled and lost so much that he had to sell his house, so it is sort of the same thing. I think we should consider the fact that these people are focusing on the wrong part of the world.

If you are so addicted to gambling that you lose everything you have, that doesn't really mean that you should be capable of doing anything like that, it should definitely not be something that would not be all that possible. I believe that we are going to end up with something that may not be all that easy to handle, so it is quite obvious that we should get rid of this addiction and find a way to cure our problem so that we do not lose all our money in the end.
393  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin has never pass ATH before halving but it has always dip don't panic. on: February 08, 2024, 06:02:23 PM
Realizing the patterns gives people a chance to feel comfortable when something goes "wrong" but you expected it. For example this one, it shows that the price could dip, so when it does dip, we should feel more comfortable about it because we knew the possibilities and that's the most important part.

I feel like it would be very important situation since if you didn't know this pattern then you would be scared right before the halving when the price goes down, and we shouldn't really have anything like that. We should feel more comfortable about it. I think the price will dip once more, it will go down but nothing too big, probably a little under 40k again and then it will start to go back up and after that it will be fine for a long time.
394  Economy / Speculation / Re: Fed holds on rate. on: February 07, 2024, 08:19:51 PM
FED holds rate, so institutions will not move funds into bitcoin? But, I would say that FED rate has nothing to do with the way that we will go up, it's mostly about the fact that we are about to have halving and after that bitcoin has always gone up.

I am writing right here, and you can come back to it and tell me about it later on, I guarantee you, after 2024 April, basically after halving, there will be "some" stuff that will happen, it could be Elon musk, it could be fed, it could be anything and people will say that the price will go up, and I am telling right beforehand and before any of that happens; the price will go up due to halving and nothing more. All those people will time it perfectly and claim that they made it themselves and it's up thanks to them but that is not going to be the reason.
395  Economy / Economics / Re: The Current World Financial System Is Rule Based Order, The New One Must Not on: February 07, 2024, 06:19:53 PM
Rich people will always be rich, in no matter what type of system we are in, it doesn't really matter because rich is a mindset. Of course there are some rich people who do not have rich mindset, for example kids of rich people, they grow up rich, and do not have that mindset easily, they end up with some troubles because they do not know the value, or some poor people who were never given a single chance, so it causes them some trouble.

Altogether, I think we should consider this as a way to make it work, and that should be the most important part. In capitalist USA, the rich are the rich because it's a capitalist system, in Communist Soviets, some people were still rich because they got powerful positions. If you want to be rich, you will find a way in every system.
396  Economy / Economics / Re: Opportunities During Economic Downturns? on: February 07, 2024, 05:30:31 PM
The best one is to invest, because you do not even work for it and others work for you. If you invest into a business, like buy a stock, when it's at the bottom, then they will get better with time and you are going to make their profit with them, without lifting a finger. This is what the stock market is all about, people who would like to use their money to invest into things that would make a lot of money.

Most companies do not even benefit from this all that much, they sold most of their shares so that means they have near none, and when the price of stock goes up, it's the shareholders that manage to make a profit and the company doesn't become bigger, maybe the value would hence it would help but that's about all the profit they get from it.
397  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency impact on Economy on: February 06, 2024, 08:26:56 PM
Not like the whole world has excess work that they want to share, but it does bridge the gap between the nations, making each other work as one. This makes the economy as a whole thing and not one by one.

I keep saying that bitcoin is like the whole world having just one currency, sure that doesn't sound fun to some people, but I like it. Imagine we create a new currency called "the world", and we spend that, sure people in rich nations like USA and UK makes thousands every month, while in poor nations you make just a few hundred, so the gap is still there, nobody says that you shouldn't have a gap, but at least it is just one currency. That is exactly what bitcoin is and has been helping the world connect to each other financially.
398  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: February 06, 2024, 05:35:43 PM
Real did all they could do but at the same time it is a bit Ancelottis fault. I mean after they got ahead, they just kept the ball, played possession football, tried to just not lose the ball, and not ATM any chance. However, because they played such a defensive park the bus system, that allowed ATM to have more chances, have fewer possibilities because defense was good, but more chances to attack and that gave them the final goal.

It was a lucky one for sure, it was last minutes, so maybe it could have worked if not for that goal, but they took the chance and lost. If they attacked more, they could have scored a second goal, and then it would have been easier if they didn't do that. In the end, it is good to see the league staying competitive.
399  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does BTC mean to you? on: February 06, 2024, 03:06:33 PM
It is a business for me. For some people it is an investment, for some people it is just fun hobby, for some people it is their job. For me it is a business, as in bitcoin is like a company I work in, well not really bitcoin itself more like crypto world, and I feel like it is a business that I am the employee of. Meaning that if the crypto world goes south, then I am not going to be able to actually make anything decent, and that would not be all that easy for me to handle in the end.

This is why I always want bitcoin to do better, in fact during periods when bitcoin doesn't do well and it is in bear period (or just not in bull) I usually make a little bit less, even finding signature campaigns could become harder during that time, it impacts even the smallest thing like that.
400  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin VS Quantum Computing on: February 05, 2024, 09:21:49 PM
This has been talked about a lot, but nobody questions the fact that quantum computing is not limitless. If that happens one day, we could just move the goalpost further and make it very hard for quantum computers to end up failing.

It's nowhere near anytime soon anyway, so there is really no need to worry about it, but the moment it becomes a viable threat, we would just make sure that it reaches to a point where it would not be possible for even quantum computers to crack into. Many keep saying "but it would be so easy for quantum computers to crack since they are infinitely faster" but they do not realize that there are unlimited amount of numbers and words you can combine, hence making it a moot point that you would have a strong computer.
