1341  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance.US again in trouble | SEC continues to harass offshore presence on: May 02, 2023, 07:05:06 PM
Another FUD created by USA to make Binance look badly, but it will never work because we dislike USA more than we dislike Binance so crypto world will mostly stay along side of Binance instead of trust the judgement of USA courts because that makes no sense. I mean SEC could say whatever they want, it doesn't matter, Binance could just close off binance.us and move on and they would still be huge, they were in billions of dollars worth of valuation before, and they can go back to that anytime they want to.

The biggest money maker is binance main website anyway, binance.us does make money, but it won't bankrupt the business if it is gone neither, so there is no need to fear SEC, they are just making some name for themselves by pushing their limits, that's it.
1342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How is the chance of $PEPE to become the next $SHIB? on: May 02, 2023, 05:59:33 PM
It is amazing that there is a "don't care" option and it is leading right now. It is a bit ironic for two reasons, one of them is that if you do not care about it then why are you here and why are you voting about it? A person that doesn't care about it wouldn't be here, he would see the topic and see the name pepe and just avoid it, that's how it works. Secondly if it is something that is not cared about as the vote suggests, then how come it went up so much.

I do not support it, I am against it, I wish that it was gone, but at least I care enough to voice my opinion and say that it is a bad thing, that means I care, because I said something about it. You can't just talk about it and at the same time tell people you do not care about it, that doesn't work together at the same time.
1343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is your opinion on shikoku inu? on: May 02, 2023, 05:06:45 PM
Let's not have an opinion on it, shall we? We have so many opinions on so many meme tokens that I am tried of saying the same thing over and over again. Doge is a bad coin, shiba is a bad token, floki is a bad token, pepe is a bad token, whatever the hell is this shikoku is a bad one and I am hearing about it for the first time.

I spend hours and hours everyday on this forum and this is the first time I am hearing about it. You may think that's something wrong with me, and my problem, but if you invest into this, it will be your problem. If someone that spends many hours on bitcointalk haven't seen a topic about it, and you still want to invest into it, know that you are going to lose your money and you have been warned not to do that as well, rest is your choice.
1344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH vs BTC future growth potential on: May 02, 2023, 04:34:32 PM
As long as this erc20 token stuff continues, I think it is going to be fine. All of the p2e games, all of the tokens, all of the defis, all of the nft's everything was tied to ETH and that made it so much more valuable and people really liked that. If that continues to happen then I would guess that it would probably be alright, people will probably invest into ETH.

There is direct investment and there is indirect investment, and both are in ETH so that is definitely a good thing. The direct one is just buying ETH and holding it, which people do, thanks to staking there are even more people that does it. The indirect is investing into a token that is on the eth chain, which means you needed ETH to do that and there was an indirect investment to ETH because of that since you bought some.
1345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we help to Bitcoin education? on: May 02, 2023, 03:16:00 PM
That's not your job to do, I mean if you want to do it then it's your job to do, but we do not have to, that is not the case. I personally believe that the best thing to do right now would be just ignore trying to educate others and focus on yourself to learn as much about it as possible.

There are a lot of people and videos and courses and material to study from if anyone wants to learn, if you want to be one of those then you could definitely try to be one but I feel no need to do something like that. This is why I will just focus on me and make money for me. There are a lot of people who are already doing it, so why would I feel obliged to be one unless my aim is to make money by teaching others as well, that's going to be a tough deal.
1346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Getting Rid of the One, Major, Cryptocurrency Problem Remaining on: May 01, 2023, 08:33:11 PM
There is no need to be worried about these people saying these things because first of all they do not have that type of power, secondly they are just trying to make it look like they are against it to make sure they get the votes, after they get the votes it is going to be gone, they won't care about it. So all in all there is nothing to worry about, governments are already favoring crypto, almost all of them including USA as well, I think the only one openly against bitcoin is China, but they have their own crypto projects as well so there is nothing wrong at the moment.

I hope that it gets better with time, but I am not sure if it will become that great, it may take some time before it can reach those levels. Hence, it is better to make sure that we do as well as we hoped for while we have these advantages of being allowed by governments.
1347  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading or investment! What's your take? on: May 01, 2023, 07:04:35 PM
I always prefer investment over trading, but that is personally about me and nothing about other things. I know that it is going to change a lot when the time comes but we should not be shocked at trading becoming a lot better, and there are some people who can trade and make a lot more money for sure.

However, consider this, if I buy at 40k, and it goes to 60k and drops to 20k and goes back to 40k, I broke even right? Yet when trading, I may buy at 60k and sell at 20k and make a huge loss, or buy at 20k and sell at 60k and triple my money that way. This means that the same market could have so many different results for so many different people and I fear that it would be a long time before I could be the good one, so I stick with the investment.
1348  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: From Art to Assets: NFT Trading Expands Beyond the Traditional Market on: May 01, 2023, 05:03:34 PM
There will always be shilling in the crypto world and I will understand that, bitcointalk is not short of that and it happens. However, this is TRADING discussion, I am sorry but what are we talking about here that is related to trading? Yeah I got it, you are doing something that helps the world and kudos for at least trying, don't know if you can achieve anything at all, doubt that you would, but at the end of the day we are talking about trading here and this has nothing to do with trading.

It needs to be relocated without a doubt to altcoin section and altcoin speculation even, in there it would get a lot more attention because this is regarding a coin and speculations about that as well, so it is not really that weird.
1349  Economy / Speculation / Re: $35,000-$37,000 for Bitcoin in 2023 as my peaking barrier, is breakout feasible? on: May 01, 2023, 04:14:41 PM
I think it will go above those prices without a doubt, not saying that I can guarantee anything because I do not know anything more than anyone else, I have the same data that all of you have. However, looking at how it is looking great for the time being, I feel like that's going to be the case for this year without a doubt. That is only a 20% increase, we are in the fifth month now, that means we have about 7 months left for bitcoin to do a 20% increase, which is low enough that bitcoin may even do that in a single month.

This is why we should keep investing into bitcoin and hope for the best, it will happen without a doubt. I know that it is going to be a difficult period until we break over those prices without a doubt, but just because it's difficult, doesn't mean it's impossible.
1350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eredivisie 22/23 - discussion thread on: May 01, 2023, 03:28:34 PM
Ajax is not getting a break, they played against second team PSV, and now they are going to play fourth team AZ as well, when you combine those two together, it becomes a bit different and it would look like it is a good situation for them in the end if they can get away with a win, but last time they lost to PSV so it is not going to be as easy as imagined. If they lose that one too, then it is going to be hard to do even the simplest situations.

This is why I believe that Ajax should be considering this issue as a troublesome issue. They may not be doing great this season but in order to do better, they need money which is not something they can get just from Eredevise, they need Europe to make that. Europa could be good only if they go far, if not then that's not good.
1351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 30, 2023, 08:10:50 PM
Bayern got to the top once again, it is looking like they are going to be doing fine. I knew the moment they fired Nagelsmann and got Tuchel that it may take a while before they can dominate like they always do, and they had a few bad games here and there, got eliminated from UCL which happens anyway, but they could be back on track now. It looks like they are still not at 100% Tuchel method just yet, but so far this is a good enough level to beat other teams at least.

Over time, either by the end of the season, or probably next season, they are going to be 100% Tuchel and they are going to be insanely well, going to change so much. Hopefully Dortmund will try harder and give us a good show up until the very last game of the season.
1352  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't claim to be an investor if it's still like this on: April 30, 2023, 05:53:11 PM
Basically the short story is that if your expectation is to buy today and be rich tomorrow, then you are wrong and that won't happen. I agree with that, I feel like it will take years before we can be rich, we need to invest and hold for a long time in order to be rich. If you also want to trade, that part is true as well, you are not going to invest today and suddenly become rich neither, it will take time to get rich and you should be a lot more hard working than that.

If you think that you can trade and turn a few thousand dollars into millions of dollars then you are going to be wrong about that as well. It's best to just invest or trade with the mindset that you will eventually get richer but it will take time and hard work to get there, it will give you more benefits.
1353  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the current economic waiting now its Money printimg on: April 29, 2023, 02:56:30 PM
I think money printed by the federal reserves is not the issue, it is the amount that is the problem. Every nation needs to keep printing more money, but if you print more than you should that becomes a problem. Like for USA, after this point, if they keep on printing about 100 to 300 billion dollars every year for growth, that would be eaten by the inflation and won't be a problem, that s a normal amount.

But they did like 4-5 trillion during pandemic, and as we all know that was a terrible idea, shouldn't have done it, tax the rich if you need more money, cutting taxes on yacths wasn't the solution. All in all we know now that money printing is not the deal, many saw that and thought money printing was the issue, but the reality is that it's more about how much.
1354  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there any point to start trading with 20$? on: April 29, 2023, 10:01:53 AM
Not trading really, I mean you could grow that if you want by working though? Crypto is filled with jobs you can take, I already have a job, but I bet that if I didn't, I could have find worse jobs than what I have now, I am lucky to have the best job in the world, but if you do not have any, you could find some. That way you could work and make a profit and then use that to increase your capital.

But if you are starting out, 20 dollars means absolutely nothing and I would suggest not to do that, makes no sense at all, even a 100% profit would be just 20 dollars and that is a very rare thing, you don't do 100% in crypto. Let alone that, investing that would mean most of it would be gone during transaction costs to begin with, so that is why it makes no sense.
1355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid a scam project? on: April 29, 2023, 09:58:22 AM
The easiest way to do it would be making sure that you are doing the right thing by checking it twice. If you ask around, talk to people who are both in the community of the scam project but also out, learn why someone invested into it, and learn why someone would never invest into it, and compare the logics about it.

Someone who would never invest into it will tell you all the reasons why you should avoid it, if it makes sense and you feel like you should avoid it as well then you are going to be fine, but if it doesn't make sense and you feel like you should not avoid it, then it may go towards the other side, for that you talk with someone who already invested into it and learn their reasons, if that makes sense and you feel like you should too, then you could start to put a bit in there.
1356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 29, 2023, 09:18:30 AM
The matchup of Knicks vs Heat and Sixers vs Celtics is quite close two teams as well, surely if teams were switched and Knicks or Heat played Celtics or Sixers, I would say that Celtics and Sixers would have beaten the other two team, but now that that they are facing each other, it is not going to be easy at all, and that is a tough situation to be in. I hope that they will do a lot better, I hope that they can make it work as well as possible and my favourites right now is Celtics and Heat.

Celtics because they have been playing very well both all season long and during Hawks series as well, whereas Heat also beat Bucks so it could be great too. Depends a bit on injuries as well, if all is healthy, that is my prediction, Heat vs Celtics final for the eastern conference for sure.
1357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your toughts on TheSoulmate.Ai? on: April 28, 2023, 06:56:31 PM
I still think that it doesn't really need to involve anything human-like. I understand that it may look like there is a market for it and it is true that there is a market for it, and a lot of people feel lonely and they may want something like this, and there are non-ai solutions so far for that as well.

But psychological help from a professional would be a lot better, and it would be advised, if you keep using technology to help with your problems then you are not going to gain anything from that at all and would be a trouble, you would become even more anti-social and should stay away from it. Obviously it will be used, and obviously there will be a lot of people who will want to become part of it, but just because they are, doesn't mean that they should.
1358  Economy / Speculation / Re: The power of Bitcoin in global world on: April 28, 2023, 06:31:56 PM
I do believe that we can't really make too much change by forcing our love of bitcoin to others. Do not go to world and say that bitcoin is good, let the world come to you and explain it, their receptors will be much more open when they are willing to listen.

There are too many people who worry what might happen with bitcoin if there are governmental overreach, but if you keep worrying about it then you would never grow. Do you think all good ideas started from "what if something went wrong?" mindset? People who improved the world in all of human history did so by not worrying about what could go wrong but instead thinking about how they could help everyone in spite of everyone and that is how we got here so far.
1359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: OpenSea investor cuts Platform’s Valuation By 75% on: April 28, 2023, 06:16:41 PM
Depends on the reason though, we are talking about a drop that probably resulted by selling right? If that is the case then that is not valuation, that is their share in it and that makes sense. Look at the sentence, it doesn't say they dropped the valuation of the company, their equity in it dropped from 126 million to 30 million, it's THEIR equity that dropped, so it is not really a big deal.

However, it is also true that opensea probably has a lot less valuation, for a simple reason that we saw NFT being a lot more important for a while and the prices were high and opensea made so much money, this was back in bull period. Nowadays, it doesn't get that much money and volume so it is not making that much money anymore and that is the issue, and could cause valuation drop.
1360  Economy / Economics / Re: Social Ranking System in China on: April 27, 2023, 09:26:21 PM
There are probably some good sides to this as well as bad sides as well. I do not care who says what, I believe that China is managed by dictatorship, by definition if a nation doesn't have proper democratic elections then it is a dictatorship and if you and I both know that the president will stay president, that is dictatorship.

In a world with dictatorship, social credit score could be ruined if the party wants it to be ruined, that is how corruption in dictatorship works, you could be a great person who dislikes the government and you would be banned, this is another way of just labelling people. However, for regular people who have nothing to fear and like the government, it could be a good improvement on their life as well.
