Third party collections are usually considerably more expensive that if the originator books it direct.

Best price I got off UPS was over $700 A BOX !!!!!! needless to say I won't be paying that Smiley

Can you provide package dimensions and weight so I can get some shipping quotes before bidding.
383  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: September 12, 2014, 11:03:02 PM
Those percentages relate to the luck of the pool during the time it was mining.

You can't compare the SP30 stats and the S3 stats unless they STARTED mining at the EXACT same time and have both been mining for 100% of the time.

If you check several users in the contributors list you will see everyone has different percentages, if you don't believe me ask in the eligius pool thread.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=441465.0

I guess the awarded shares have to move closer to 100% over the longer term, correct?

I think the long term average on eligius is around 98% (mine is 96% but I don't mine there all the time), it'll never get to 100 due to orphans, but it will certainly rise though 2x 8.5 hour blocks today won't help, just bad timing starting during a bad luck period Sad
384  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: September 12, 2014, 10:21:37 PM
Why low % of rewarded shares on Eligius for SP-30?
83%? What could cause this?

<snip image>

That's nothing to do with the SP-30 and everything to do with bad luck on eligius.
I have SP-30 on Eligius and S-3 (multiple) also on Eligius.
Sp-30 produced 83-84% awarded shares
S-3 (all) produced 94-95% awarded shares during THE SAME time period on the same pool (Eligius).
I would like to to know what the possible cause could be (certainly NOT bad luck on Eligius).

Actually, I didn't say anything positive about any products. I just stated you could get x amount of y for the cost of z, making z terrible value. Also, given that I'm not promoting any miner and that I don't even have a mining banner in my sig, how could you possibly accuse me of being a shill for a Spondoolies competitor? How does that even make sense? When I have an AM banner in my sig and I'm promoting AM products (like you and Spondoolies) in competitors threads, then you can call me a shill.

I'd like to congratulate AM for dramatically decreasing the $/GH cost of equipment and shipping from stock.  I'd like to boo them for the shocking controllers and terrible power consumption.

I'd like to congratulate SP for the excellent engineered products, good power consumption and first class customer support.  I'd like to boo them for the high prices compared to similar products and not having stock.

There you go pleased and upset everyone in 1 post Smiley
386  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Avalon4(A3222) 28nm Chips are now on sales @ ehash.com on: September 12, 2014, 07:26:42 PM
Asia has been busy buying 1,000,000s of Avalon chips while the forums have 'boycotted' them thinking its still Yifu when they quite simply don't care. This isn't the company Avalon, this isn't the company that did trade ins, this isn't the company that random batch 1 2 and 3. If people don't want to buy, they don't have to.

I got royally screwed by avalon but they aren't on my boycott list as I appreciate it's not Yifu anymore

Sadly all their products since then have been way overpriced/power hungry compared to the competition.

Time will tell if these new chips and the machines they spawn are worth buying.

And a note to any developers
Don't use a few chips clocked up to the max, use lots of chips at the lowest w/GH as that's where the market needs to go.

389  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] Spondoolies SP30 in-hand - August batch on: September 12, 2014, 03:57:13 PM
SP30 for sale , can ship today if needed for tomorrow or for Monday delivery in the USA.

thanks!

I'd pay $3,500 in BTC shipped to Michigan, escrow through OgNasty or SebastianJu.

I know it's lower than your asking, but it's on a par with 3 of the new 1.5TH dragons and they are very similar on power usage.

It doesn't say anything about the shipping date yet, I was going to order some B8 as the wait was less than 10 days but as you say sold out. I fully expect B9 will be ~10th October going by previous batches. Shame as I bought over 40x S1's but since then all bitmain's stuff has been overpriced or long pre-orders Sad
Just get the S3+ upgrade kit then, you'll have a very short lead time (shipping before / by 20th)

I sold all my S1's, I refer you to my previous comment about overpriced Smiley
392  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S3 Discussion and Support Thread. on: September 10, 2014, 08:46:22 AM

B8 is sold out.  B9 is up but no price yet with shipping to start on 9/20 or earlier (since B8 started shipping already).

393  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Warehouse in Australia is stocking 1.1 TH/s miners, liquid cooled. Very cheap! on: September 10, 2014, 07:41:20 AM
Price is around $1300-$1400, it depends on how many units you buy.

Ah that's a shame when you said 'very cheap' I thought the price had dropped since the last time I looked at them Smiley

ANTMINER S1 Upgrade Kit. IN STOCK - $189.99

Bullshit, bitmain haven't started shipping them yet.

396  Other / Archival / Re: Pictures of your mining rigs! on: September 08, 2014, 09:30:58 AM
A

I'm guessing from the layout of the neptune cubes that you've removed the display and are running 6 cubes per controller ?

OT: Knowing KNC they were probably going to ship that way, but they found the display was cheaper than the cube and they could overclock the crap out of them with only 5 to deliver the bare minimum.

They used an email I only used on cryptorush, no way they had this address elsewhere.

Same here, and there are 3 options

1. You are connected to cryptorush.in and therefore are authorised to use the information
2. You obtained the user list from them (and they broke their terms and conditions by supplying it to you)
3. You obtained it elsewhere.

Please don't tell me about about your privacy policy, answer the question about WHERE you obtained the list from, and if it's number 3 please specify who.

399  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: TuringStations Razor Bitcoin Miner (The worlds first 7 TH miner) shipping now on: September 06, 2014, 08:41:58 PM
We have no choice but to require a list of documents to confirm your
ownership of the credit card:

- Photo of ID or Passport

- Photo of any utility bill (from the last 3 months max). The name
must be the same as the one written on the credit card.

- Photo of credit card

All photos must be clear and in high definition!

What a coincidence that what they request to prevent fraud is exactly what they need to commit fraud.

If you seriously sent them those documents I'd contact your credit card company ASAP !!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh and expect to start receiving letters from debt collectors as they take out loans in your name.

What am I doing wrong here?

You have the default gateway set as 192.168.1.99 that's not right, it needs to be set to your router IP (probably 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.254)

Your router *might* be 192.168.1.1 so I would change that as well

So maybe
192.168.1.10
255.255.255.0
192.168.1.254 <- Router IP, whatever it is
