381  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you worried about the US Government moving BTC? on: March 09, 2024, 01:30:59 AM
  • Do you think the US government is about to sell 15,085 BTC?
  • Will this event have a negative impact on BTC and the entire crypto market?
  • Are you worried and changed your investment strategy because of this event?

- I don't think they, like us, understand that bitcoin will increase in price over time, like cryptographic assets, and will gradually sell them to the market.
- let it happen to see, because in the current context as I mentioned before, the pressure on the case is not too great, it will just be like normal news in the space. And if they are willing, there are always contractors who will pay to keep those bitcoins if they need to sell them all.
- Surely this is not an event that concerns me much, because we have bigger stories that confuse the weak minded (the Mt. Gox story).
382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: $26,000 to invest, any suggestions? on: March 09, 2024, 01:20:41 AM
Your portfolio is pretty good so what suggestions do you need here?

There are several new trends in action and you can research options that fit your portfolio.

But I'm also willing to suggest some names like Concordium, Gitcoin, DIA, VLX,... research them yourself to see if it fits your criteria.

Also, I agree with you to stay away from things like memecoin if you don't like them, but I'm not too against these things because I always accept the risks from them.
383  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you avoid some games because of racism? on: March 08, 2024, 05:19:21 PM
Especially on sports betting we see some racism happening and this happened in most of the league that are popular of which so many persons bet on. It bothers me to ask, that imagine you placed a bet and somehow you have 80% assurance that it would come out successful. And on the process of waiting for the game to end there was some racism manipulation in the game which made you lost the game. It could be football or other sports cause its mostly found in sports.

Next time would you choose to not bet on a particular game because you feel the members of the VAR, or the referee are racist, and you are sure that there would be some manipulation?

With me, this is a matter of the sport itself and it does not affect the betting. IMO, some subjects lack brains to express racist behavior, between humans there is an attitude of equality and mutual respect, perhaps some subjects have human appearances but their thoughts are not of human. I remember some matches that I watched in the past, like the aggressive behavior of the fans was so aggressive that they wanted to ruin the flow of the match, not understanding what they were looking for when they insulted someone. But anyway, this probably comes back to the betting issue, this situation is just a small development and I don't think it determines the initial betting behavior.
384  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many satoshis are there per person in the world? on: March 08, 2024, 05:06:42 PM
234,566.0379  satoshis per person

Anyway, thank you for sharing, but I really don't understand the message from it.

And the world number is not fixed, I don't remember exactly, but I can search somewhere on the web, about when bitcoin launched, how many people there are in the world, and the present, the future.

So this calculation doesn't make much sense to me, because I also know about decentralization but most of the bitcoins are kept in the pockets of whales so there's no need to think about everyone getting an equal share bitcoin.
385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto arbitrage question on: March 08, 2024, 08:44:09 AM
On exchange (A) XMR/BTC - 0.00045. exchange (B) 0.0022. There is a arbitrage opportunity here BUT will the profit be base on the XMR/BTC or the BTC current rate on the two exchanges. Because it seem you have to buy with BTC not XMR.

I have encountered this situation before, but I also hastily transferred money to make a transaction and suddenly discovered that it had poor liquidity, and set limits on withdrawals. So it's not always possible to think positively, and it should also be understood that most bots on CEX are fast enough to update prices if there are no unusual incidents, or as I initially thought mentioned about lack of transparency. Anyway, you should check more carefully before intending to act, because good opportunities will soon be discovered and this is no longer common today when the trading volume is getting larger, the price difference between CEX are no longer so large. But I still know about the local CEX situation of some countries where the prices are quite irregular and also not according to the common global price, but usually it is difficult to access.
386  Other / Off-topic / Re: People who are honest and open about their knowledge are valued in the soceity. on: March 08, 2024, 08:35:52 AM
Encourage the sharing of personal knowledge and even if the understanding is wrong, feel free to share confidently so that you can receive corrective discussion. From this topic, I think about the issue of responsibility for each of us and the story of freedom in life, demanding things without being willing to show our own responsibility, sharing with everyone around us and giving. Showing selfishness and greater status can mean control.

Always learn everything to solve personal problems, but also remember that we need to be able to help people properly because of the injustice between people who set their own prejudices, which is inherently unfair equality exists naturally.

There are many people who insist that their point of view is always right (but it's not useful for everyone), but life is like that and there's no need to be upset with things that don't share the same point of view, just each of us trying our best and share everything with everyone.
387  Economy / Economics / Re: Some people acts stranded and in need of the ways for breakthrough but not ready on: March 08, 2024, 08:27:04 AM
Yep, I have some sympathy for the OP. No matter where we are, we can see the current economic situation and want to help those around us. But it is completely understandable that you are cautious and do not disclose your source of income.

I have never actively shared about money making opportunities, but if anyone talks and finds a new direction for their life, I am really open and want to understand their situation. Don't rush to give them financial investment opportunities, instead take advantage of the time to exploit jobs that can bring income, MMO is an easy choice. Learning about investing and only talking about money is a dangerous trap. The most basic thing is that without knowledge, we cannot do anything. I often describe "driving, you can't just sit in a car without understanding anything about it, accidents will definitely happen."
With people suffering from a downturn economy, I think the best thing we can do is to encourage them or introduce them some side hustles in order to gain additional income. I’m not talking about investments but more certainly jobs. And once they have gained sufficient funds and have earned already spare money, then that’s the best time to introduce to them about bitcoin investment. A little explanation would do but they should be responsible enough to study and research about bitcoin first before finally deciding to invest in bitcoin.

The problem with some people is that they keep on searching for quick and bigger financial returns, yet they are afraid to take some risk and do some extra miles of efforts. So they are doing the reverse instead. If their mindset continues to think like this, they will never really achieve their goal but will continue to struggle in life and embrace poverty in the end. Bitcoin is never the key to get rich and financially secured, but the opportunities it brought to us that majority have ignored are probably the answers to our financial problems.

Yep, give them a hoe and a garden so they know what to do, giving money only solves the problem temporarily and cannot solve the root of the problem. It is necessary to have many opportunities from work, but it is clear that in the current social context, there are many changes that force us to be more adaptable in taking advantage of work opportunities.

IMO, this era of internet space brings many specific job opportunities and must admit it is not too difficult for a beginner. And over time, they will accumulate knowledge and experience to find new opportunities (possibly investing in crypto). I remember past stories with friends when people wondered about profitable bitcoin quickly Smiley , just when people only think about a good result but haven't figured out how to create it.
388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Forget Bitcoin - Memecoins Like Pepe, FLOKI and Bonk Are the Big Gainers Now on: March 08, 2024, 08:17:58 AM
First question, how did you put the title just to draw attention to these things?

(...)
The big question is: which memecoin will perform best going forward this year? Could we see Dogecoin reclaim its former glory as the king of memecoins? Or will newcomers like Pepe, FLOKI, WIF and Bonk continue to steal the spotlight? I'll like to hear your views...

Regardless, it is your opinion or the opinion of those who have guided you to these things, even top altcoins can still be labeled risky. And what memecoin is doing is showing off its great risks, but it's fair to say that the few (very few) are over-hyped creating FOMO for memecoin. If it weren't for the way Elon Musk started with dogecoin, this space would likely have memecoins with incredibly high capitalization, but regardless of everything that has been going on, I'm not the type to oppose the activities of of these things, as long as we take advantage of the opportunity because this crypto playground must have winners and losers for there to be great development.
389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why not try out a less popular but promising token? on: March 08, 2024, 08:09:05 AM
cost? scam? believe? Data cocoon room? This is probably why we are afraid to buy new token. So, starting tomorrow, I plan to take the first step to learn about an unknown token. Everyone is welcome to recommend, and the flag is here. Grin Grin

New cryptos are not a problem, if they are easy and transparent then there is no reason to be afraid, but it depends on each person's research.

And even things that are created with bad intentions also have potential opportunities around them, we just have to grasp that opportunity. But its risk is always very high, anything new comes with initial skepticism (including bitcoin). I'm not the type of person who often takes risks with investments, so I always prioritize safety. So with new alts, I often rely on a number of criteria to decide whether to buy and keep them. Anyway, the choice is not forced, feel free to choose even if the results are not as expected, it also brings lessons for us to learn from mistakes.
390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Simple mistake that makes you lose everything on: March 08, 2024, 08:01:50 AM
I understand the feeling of losing control, but in the history of gambling, the times I risked it and brought positive results, perhaps luck was on my side. However, I don't want to make it difficult for myself and get caught up in gambling. I am always ready to accept any situation that may arise and only allow myself to play with the amount of money I am willing to lose.

I'm not a person who gambles often, I just look for it as a form of entertainment rather than forcing myself to win to get a profit. Having encountered many gambling addicts, and even family members who are addicted to gambling, I am aware that gambling has many potential risks if left alone.
391  Economy / Economics / Re: When luxury becomes a necessity. on: March 08, 2024, 02:19:33 AM
(...)Have you bought something that people feel is rather too expensive and that you could have purchased a lower version of it? What was your inexperience like after that?

Maybe I'll mention the story about traveling to Peru, and OP if you own a Rolex watch giving it to the natives there is really ironic, it's not something they needed in life "for you, not for me", there people had fun with Ayahuasca and talked about spiritual life.

So our views on life are not always the same, so from differences come standards of quality of life and on the part of those who share the same stance can ridicule those who are less superior, or admire those who are more talented than them. What you feel about life is a reflection of how you are adapting to the environment around you, so in addition to that, the world also has countless other nuances of life, just be happy with it what you think and seek relationships with people who have things in common with you, do not impose your personal views on the outside because disagreements can create conflicts.
392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beyond the Hype: Assessing the $WEN Token's Market Potential on: March 08, 2024, 02:09:11 AM
(...)Anyone else experimenting with $WEN?  What are your thoughts on the balance between the meme, the community, and the real-world tech innovation?

I also received $WEN from the airdrop event, but I no longer have them Smiley , and understand the story of selling something and it keeps increasing in price. But instead of regretting not being able to continue with them, I remember how happy I was before selling them and that was also a happy amount of money that helped me solve many personal problems.

I'm not too concerned about the possibility of these things in the space, as it's always the default crypto pump/dump and gets short term FOMO, so depending on the initial point of view it can be determined for itself buy/sell it.
393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you find out cons of altcoins? on: March 07, 2024, 04:48:55 PM
(...) Does anyone know of reliable sources that can provide unbiased overview of limitations and potential problems that a coin and their devteam is facing?

There is no fixed source, and you should research and synthesize the information you get about the project you follow. Depending on the scale to determine the project's ability to demonstrate, I have some experience that most of the top projects receive trust from the community because of their potential based on money, dev, relationships,... decentralization to smaller projects, those things also fade away.

I know some people on X (https://twitter.com/bantg ) , and you should also experience other forms of ponzi, hype, scam,... to understand how they work and take preventative measures. In this space, we know the potential for great opportunities, so there will also be people with bad intentions, so be alert and responsible for all your actions.
394  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin: All Time Buy & Hodle (ATBH) on: March 07, 2024, 04:35:39 PM
Requiring a lot of patience to wait for the market to grow, or difficulty determining the exact time to buy ATBH and being at risk if the market continues to decline is a big challenge to investing with Bitcoin. Those who apply this strategy should be aware that in theory it is easy to imagine, but in practice, when applied, not many people can take advantage of it. I also encourage anyone who can use this method to be able to synchronize longterm Bitcoin practice.

We all understand that Bitcoin investment has potential but also comes with risks. Please research carefully, consider your financial and psychological capabilities before applying. And it's important to monitor the market and have a backup plan ready for unexpected risks.
395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Pattern that 99.9% Leads to Bankruptcy: High Rolling on Slots! on: March 07, 2024, 09:03:25 AM
The appeal of gambling is undeniable, but for those who have fallen into a losing situation, perhaps giving them advice to save is really too late.

But through these cases, we realize that we should not make things difficult for ourselves. I myself have also faced the situation of family members getting entangled due to gambling. Since then, I have always been aware of the problem. Even if you gamble, you don't want to get into debt. So I always assume that gambling is an entertainment tool, and if it only brings suffering then it should be eliminated, but the reality is that we ourselves create those things. As well as being aware of responsibility for your own behavior, it can also affect people around you.
396  Other / Archival / Re: Are investors investing in Bitcoin at ATH now are fools ? on: March 07, 2024, 08:56:54 AM
Are investors investing in Bitcoin at ATH now are fools ?  Is there chance of major correction from here as prices have already peaked now.

Usually this is true for people who don't have a specific plan with their investments, and are just coming to the market on a shortterm basis hoping to see quick profits, but perhaps they also are victims of ignorant FOMO.

Whether buying now or at ATH, understand that bitcoin's price rise has just begun and it is only a matter of time before it reaches a new ATH, the only thing to do for those who don't want to do research much is patience. Although the current period of bitcoin volatility is large, it always comes with opportunities/risk for everyone. If you make good use of it, it's natural to laugh out loud with your investment.
397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Bitcoin Talk community's input has made a real impact on: March 07, 2024, 08:50:56 AM
(...)

It seems OP is trying to convey this project, I'm not sure if you are part of this project. But to me it smells like ponzi, many people here don't care too much about rewards or surrounding things that are attached, we are capable of evaluating the level of opportunity/risk ourselves.

As I have told many times to people who often pass on what they call opportunities, give it to your family before intending to give this good idea to everyone.

And one more thing to say is that even if you intend to spread this, this place is not suitable, instead approach places of ignorance to seek the greed of new people.

398  Other / Off-topic / Re: The internet and it's importance to this present day generation on: March 07, 2024, 08:44:34 AM
(....)Come to think of it now where things are made easy whereby all you need to do is type your message send it and in a couple of some minutes you get it delivered or your smart phone as well but people of this days still look more lazy and complains very much of stress now do you think the internet made this generation to be more lazy or they just feel like being relaxed because they know things are now too easy or there is another thing beneath.

It is clear that different life contexts bring different problems, the development of internet science and technology brings an era where indeed everything is easily and quickly accessible, but at the same time it also brings to the negatives in society when some people are dependent and sluggish. But it cannot be denied that we have many people trying to adapt and develop the social context, it is inevitable that problems are considered negative aspects of life, because a balanced existence helps we have a diversity of orientations to exploit different ideas to solve problems.
399  Other / Off-topic / Re: Dont chase your loss on: March 07, 2024, 08:38:21 AM
It is best you gamble when necessary not because you want to chase your loss and win back you money, many are victim of this circumstances and for me is a bad practice and this might make you not to employe your gambling skills and roles because you inhast in your decision making. What is your opinion on this?

Even if you say more, it will be difficult to wake up the addict. I know that it will be difficult to accept the fact that the majority of gamblers are just a money-making tool for the house. Waiting for the joke, many people have it justify their behavior even when they are losing their responsibility towards themselves and their family.

Gambling is not right or wrong, the problem is that the person using it is not able to control their behavior. The psychology of greed, delusion, etc. often leads to bad scenarios in life, and in gambling, they show more frightening manifestations, even though people with good intentions advise and advise responsibly. in behavior, but for addicts, they may not know what is called "responsibility". After all, life has many nuances, and they are also a part of helping warn us not to make the same mistakes as them.
400  Economy / Economics / Re: Why are some countries being sentimental with bitcoin and the cryptos at large? on: March 07, 2024, 07:33:41 AM
(...)

Bitcoin and alts have the potential to spur economic growth, but there are also risks that need to be considered. Crypto adoption will depend on its ability to address government and user concerns. A field that helps earn income from investing, trading, or using crypto in economic activities will create an attraction that no one wants to ignore. But it is true that there are also many issues of illegal activities, causing the government to introduce restrictive measures. Although opposing/supporting, the decisions of the government in some countries are not all because this is a decentralized space. We can talk about the necessary centralization relationship, but if it is too imposed, it is counterproductive.
