It sounds like you're just trying to scam the system - 1% is hardly anything and a reasonable payment to referrers for their efforts of bringing other people to the pool.

Trying to cheat that away from them is both petty and selfish - and amazingly brazen since you're just outright saying what you'd plan to do in order to scam the system.  This is certainly not the type of behavior the bitcoin community needs.

As I wouldn't bring other people to the pool, I don't see why I should pay 1% extra compared to other pools. Spamming a forum that is about all pools with meaningress threads about the same pool over adn over again is in my opinion also not that nice.

It's too much of a hassle anyways, as other pools pay (at least 1%) more without leeching from the ones that have not yet referred someone (as only "minipool owners" = someone who referred someone else get a part of this 1%).

Without referring you'd also just get 100% payout max., so there's really not much incentive for any sane person to join this pool. As it is proportional, you can even hop it, so in the end most likely you'll end up with less/far less than on hop-proof pools, even with tons of referrals.

Trust me, you earn more in this pool as the owner of a mini-pool than you do in any other pool.

As for the 1% lol...you make that back multiplied...

There should be a way we can instant message our pool members. Would be nice too to be able to email them reminders to mine and/or offer incentives..

3835  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what's your stop loss on: July 05, 2011, 08:36:11 AM

I think it would find support around $10. There is a lot of psychological support for any single digit number. If $10 breaks, I think it is a free fall. maybe all the way < $5.

There's a bit of support at $11 & $10.50..nothing beyond that..so yea if it breaks I guess we'd be in freefall...
3836  Economy / Economics / Re: What can we expect the price to decline/raise to? on: July 05, 2011, 08:27:45 AM
I speculate that the bitcoin bubble began this year, and that when fully deflated the bubble will bottom out at April 2011 prices, unless there is a dramatic increase in the bitcoin economy before the bottom.  Say $1.

Perhaps. However longer term I still think were looking at $50+ in the near future.

3840  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 10 BTC jackpot about to go off...get in now on: July 05, 2011, 07:20:25 AM
Err.. the 10BTC payout was dependant on us reaching 50 GHash/s before July, 5th 2011 and keeping it up for at least 24 hours....

p.s you can stop spamming now Wink
