should be about time the Pope did a sermon on coin, it is of course

going to deliver the freedoms religion has been promising for so long

Good idea Smiley On a second thought I dont think it would be in the interest of bitcoin if we rope in religious leaders in cryptocurruncy Cheesy

You cannot be serious? If the Pope tweet about this once, you would reach about 10 000 000 Twitter followers.
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/10/28/pope-francis-twitter_n_4170054.html

According to the Census of the 2015 Annuario Pontificio (Pontifical Yearbook), the number of Catholics in the world was about 1.254 billion at the end of 2013.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catholic_Church_by_country

In my opinion, it would be the best thing to happen, if the Pope and the Catholic church supported it.

Pope is also against gay marriages http://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/pope-francis-gay-marriage_56113bdee4b0af3706e11d5d but gay marriages is on rise among Catholics and most of them support it http://theweek.com/articles/557418/why-are-catholics-supportive-gay-marriage Cheesy
3822  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin used to do money laundering - will it become a huge problem? on: December 04, 2015, 10:09:28 PM
Whats your thought on this?

For a lot of criminals Bitcoins are the perfect tool to launder money or not? Almost no trace but still they have to explain how they got the money once they convert it back into dollars....
Will this become (or already is) a problem? I'm thinking that the anonymity will be a problem for a lot of governments once BTC becomes a well know payment method.
I think there must be an easy way to trace the bitcoin transactions. It doesn't takes away the convenience that bitcoin offers.Frankly speaking I don't understand the logic behind opposing any Idea of tracking bitcoin.Unless you are doing something illegal, why would you want to keep your transaction anonymous?

3824  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can't believe i was able to register this bitcoin domain on: December 04, 2015, 09:56:10 PM
This is a nice I wish I had a domain like this so that I can sell it.

But good job finding it.
Its not easy to sell just any domain.Only domains that get organic traffic are sold for high price.Earlier Google PageRank was also one of reasons for getting good price but now that too has become irrelevant. The best idea these days is to create a website with some good content and do some seo on it.A related good domain name is also a part of SEO
3825  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can't believe i was able to register this bitcoin domain on: December 04, 2015, 11:06:03 AM
What you pay for is what you get. It's free for a reason. I bet most people don't even realize .website is even an extension...

You are right mate, I had no clue whatsoever. I guess you learn a new thing every day! Smiley
Its a matter of time before people get used to such tlds.I think Op can use it to his advantage by creating some good website around it.If he has good seo knowledge,he can get good traffic as well like creating some sub domains with good keywords for different pages for example http://faucet.bitcoins.website and provide a list of bitcoin faucets on that page etc
3826  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How do I find bitcoin accepted ebay sellers? on: December 04, 2015, 12:00:26 AM
It is possible for the seller to work out an alternative form of payment but it is highly unlikely. Sellers probably won't do anything abnormal like that since they are very wary of scams and negative feedback.
If seller accept bitcoin it won't be risky for him because he would instantly receive the payment. It is the buyer who will have all the risk and getting scammed if he pays with bitcoin on eBay
3827  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can't believe i was able to register this bitcoin domain on: December 03, 2015, 11:49:01 PM

Don't let the naysayers get you down - it's a good domain name!

It may not rank as fast as a .com, but it's a searchable name that you can link to.  Do good SEO on the page and you'll do fine.
I agree with the first part of your comment but I dont think a domain extension has anything to do with the time or duration of getting good search engine ranking. If your content is good and unique, and you do a good on page and off page seo,you can get good ranking as you would normally with a .com domain
3828  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can't believe i was able to register this bitcoin domain on: December 03, 2015, 11:28:21 PM
I registered "bitcoins.website" as in http://www.bitcoins.website

Can't believe it was still free
Good for you.I think you should hold this domain for longer duration and it may become valuable by then.Although with ICANN releasing more and more domain extensions, its not big deal if you get your hand on some generic name for those extensions.
3829  Other / Off-topic / Re: Complete the sentence... "I would sell all my Bitcoins if..." on: December 03, 2015, 11:18:54 PM
I would sell all my bitcoins if I could at least make 1 million profit on each and every coin that I own.
I wish your wish come true Cheesy if bitcoin price reach that high,I would also sell each and every bitcoin that I have but I dont think that is going to happen soon
3830  Other / Meta / Re: Should Fwdxwlsh Be Banned? on: December 03, 2015, 11:11:56 PM
Yes I have seen some of useless topics that he created and locked them before someone can post.I think he is upto some mischief why should he be given more chances when he has already exhibited his intentions is absolutely beyond my comprehension.I am all for banning him if my two cent counts

3833  Other / Meta / Re: Selling accounts on this forum is correct or not on: December 03, 2015, 10:29:52 PM
I dont think there is any harm in allowing account selling. The purpose of this forum is to promote Bitcoin usage and spreading information about it.Selling account is in no way affects the purposes of it.In fact it brings more people here
3834  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where do you trade? on: December 03, 2015, 10:18:47 PM
Hey guys,

currently i'm handling a bit more than 1000$ of btc on cex.io and i would like to know if you'd recommend me other marketplace where i could trade? I don't like to put my assets in one place.

I don't do risky trade, i don't care if there is a correct amount of fee because i don't look for numerous scalpel trades, i want a place safe secured where i know i'll be able to withdraw my benefits without problem ^^
I strongly recommend you to try yobit exchange. They also give free coins daily and have good referral program.Personally I find It more user friendly
3835  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: About to buy my 1st Bitcoin on: December 03, 2015, 10:13:42 PM
Keeping just 1 btc and spending rest doesn't sound a good idea to me.If I were you I would have placed all my bitcoins in my wallet as prescribed here my other members and wait for at least 10 years to grow them in value. That,to me,is the best option if you have some bitcoins
3836  Other / Off-topic / Re: If BTC goes to $1000 or more, what would you do? on: December 02, 2015, 11:52:54 PM
If BTC goes to $1000 or more,I would brood over for not having too much of bitcoin or for missing out on a opportunity to earn or mine it back in early days of its introduction
3837  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: December 02, 2015, 11:49:25 PM
I guess people just dont see it as an actual currency also it goes up and down in price all the time if you have $1 then you have $1 but if you have 1btc then you may have $320 or $160 another time.
Value of dollar also keeps depreciating or appreciating with time. Some day you can buy 1 unit of something for 1 $, other day you might need to pay 10 $ for same single unit or maybe 0.1 $
3838  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Apple CEO Tim Cook: “Your kids will not know what money is” on: December 02, 2015, 11:43:46 PM
If our kids will not know what money is why are they introducing plastic bank notes? Most countries are planning to introduce them over the next few years because they last longer than paper money. Why put all that effort into designing and introducing them into circulation if all governments intend to get rid of paper money completely?

Well it's just a gradual and slow process. The plastic thing is just an intermediate step. Countries like denmark and other north european countries are close to getting rid of cash. Its the ultimate fate of every country to become 100% digital, so then you better pray that Bitcoin is widespread and people aren't stupid enough to use the centralized alternative.
If all currency become digital, wouldn't it create competition for bitcoin? instead of bitcoin getting widespread,I afraid it become less popular
3839  Other / Off-topic / Re: DO YOU HAVE 1 BITCOIN? on: December 02, 2015, 11:27:22 PM
