3842  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do Newbies (or Anyone) Enjoy Paid Bitcoin Tasks? on: December 02, 2015, 03:30:49 PM
As part of the research I'm undertaking for my soon-to-be launched faucet, I'd like to know:

Do you regularly visit PTC sites or task sites which pay out in Bitcoin?

Message me if you want some simple tasks to do!
Bitcoin is as valuable as fiat. When people visit other non btc PTC sites,I dont think they wont visit similar site that pays in btc.As far as I am concerned, yes i do visit faucets every now and then

Did you even read opening post? Op said he don't want to advertise Ponzi, GAMBLING and Adult content. And last time when I checked FastDice was a gambling site.
That is why the best option is to seek campaigns like Bit-x or Bitmixer.
Seems that this is the only genuine reply.Yes the reason I am posting this is because most of the campaigns are related to gambling and I dont want to promote them. The rest like bit-x or bitmixer are not accepting new enterants at the moment.I know I am not someone special for whom campaign manages would line up to enroll neither I want that.I am expecting some individual or small site or faucets owner who might want to promote his link
3844  Economy / Services / I want to rent my signature space on: November 29, 2015, 03:11:03 PM

3845  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: paypal or bitcoin? on: November 29, 2015, 02:58:50 PM
The comparison is not fair as one is a money processor and other is currency itself. As a money processor it has to take care of both parties interest.People complain about chargeback but isn't it comes handy when you are on the receiving end? I mean if a seller sold you something online which is not according to your expectations, you can get your money back by raising a dispute. With bitcoin once you send it,you can never get it back

3848  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: bitcoinblackfriday.info - Do NOT use their website. on: November 27, 2015, 08:14:25 PM
I received pm and got the shocked of my life when I learnt that the signature I am wearing and promoting turned out to be a scam.I am very disappointed that bitcointalk do not do any kind of investigation before allowing such campaigns. Now on the last day of campaign when we were expecting payouts,we come to know that it is a scam.Who is going to be at loss?obviously the members of this forum who were promoting it.All their efforts, time and energy gone wasted Sad

3851  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin v. Bitcoin on: November 27, 2015, 03:48:09 PM
liteccoin is second investment after bitcoin for me

Why do we need a second investment when first one (bitcoin) is sufficient for this purpose?
3852  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you store your bitcoins ? on: November 27, 2015, 01:38:45 PM
Any suggestions on where a person who has already purchased bitcoins through Coinbase / circle should store them? I'm open to any suggestions from members. Thanks

Depends on how much you have.If you have less then 1 btc, keep it on your mobile wallet, desktop or even online would be easy. For larger amounts, cold storage is the best available option to date
3853  Other / Off-topic / Re: Complete the sentence... "I would sell all my Bitcoins if..." on: November 27, 2015, 01:32:13 PM
The only condition I would sell all my Bitcoins is when bitcoin reaches 1000 $.I know it may take years to reach there but it is better to wait than repent later
3854  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what about scammer ? on: November 27, 2015, 01:28:31 PM
i like bitcoin

low fee but more scam

what about scammer ?
!
The bitter truth about bitcoin is that we all learn about scammers after we have been scammed. We get scammed sometimes because of our ignorance and most of the time because of our greed.Bitcoin is more prone to scam because of anonymity and irreversiblitity. We should be more vigilant when it comes to spending or investing bitcoin
3855  Other / Off-topic / Re: How would you guys react if you guys lost 10, 000 bitcoin? on: November 27, 2015, 12:12:29 PM
Blue_Tiger73 posted as to what you would do if you gained 1,000,000 bitcoin ( Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy ). Now i am asking you guys. How would you guys react if you guys lost 10, 000, bitcoin through any reason (  Angry Angry Angry )? And how would you maximise the chances of this never happening?

DOGE12321
If that happened to me I would go insane.Losing even 1% of it would made me deeply sad.10,000 is a hugeeeee money. The best thing is that I dont have that much money so I can't lose what I dont have.If I had 10,000 btc,I would have split them in smaller quantity like 500 btc each and would keep them in separate paper wallet.Wish it never happens to anyone
3856  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think the use of Bitcoin is kind of complicate? on: November 27, 2015, 11:41:13 AM
Vinny Lingham said, in Consesus 2015, the following phrase:
" If you don't simplify the use of bitcoin, why would people want to use it as a currency?

What do you think about that, check the whole article in the following link:
http://www.coindesk.com/trust-law-enforcement-and-killer-apps-consensus-2015-morning-sessions/
I think storing and creating (mining) of bitcoin is the most complicated aspects of bitcoin. While latter is limited to few people and is not required for every bitcoin user to become familiar with but storing is definitely a part of using a bitcoin and is still a very complicated process. We must simplify safe storing of Bitcoin if we want it to become mass currency
3857  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: November 27, 2015, 11:24:37 AM
Share with us what's your main reason for buying bitcoins?
Honestly speaking I am not buying right now.I am waiting for prices to fall further down I will buy when price again touch the 250 $ mark which I am sure is going to happen soon. That said I am not selling either as I expect prices to go up in March next year
3858  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: paypal or bitcoin? on: November 27, 2015, 10:42:06 AM
What are your opinions on paypal or bitcoin for online shopping?
PayPal is accepted globally by all reputed major online shopping stores, merchants and portals while bitcoin has very limited acceptence. Many shopping sites offer some disconts and cashbacks also for paying with PayPal which is not the case with Bitcoin
3859  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: November 27, 2015, 10:36:24 AM
I think it is a wrong assumption that something is preventing people from using bitcoin. In my own experience, whoever learns about bitcoin, wants to earn it but due to its price volatility they dont want to spend it.I think the question of this thread title should be rephrased as "What is stopping people from spending bitcoin? "
3860  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic problems Facing the U.S. on: November 27, 2015, 10:28:41 AM
As long as they have petrodollars fueling their economy, they can overcome any economic crisis. And as for the war in middle east, well most of its expenses are borne by gulf countries. So US has nothing to worry as long as it has their oil producing friends to exploit Wink

I think the US spent over a trillion dollars on the Iraq invasion and decade of occupation. I'm not sure how much all the other nations combined spent, but I'd be willing to bet it was not a trillion dollars.
The gulf war costs US$ 40 billion. Out of
the US$ 40 billion the US spent only
US$ 10 billion or 25%. The rest US$ 30
billion comprising 75% of the war
budget was spent by Arab country’s
Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. How did they get this money?
Before the war the average price of a
barrel of crude oil was 15 US$. With
the Gulf war it increased to 42 US$.
There by they got an extra profit of US
$ 60 billion.
To whom did this profit go?
According to the “50% -50%” law in
Arab countries 50% of it belonged to
the governments. The other 50% went
to the multinational oil companies
controlling the oilfields.
That means US$ 30 billion for those
companies and the other US$ 30 billion
for Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.
Who owns those companies?
Middle-East oil exploration and trade
is under 7 companies (Shell, Mobil,
Esso etc.). All these companies are
American. The US Government owns 5
of them. Therefore from the 30 billion
dollar profit for these companies,
about 21 billion belonged to the
American government and the
remaining 9 billion to the American
private sector.
