2941  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin adoption and it's future. on: April 27, 2016, 06:43:11 PM
Hey pals,
I would to like to know about bitcoin adoption in your cities and please let here know, If bitcoin adoption happens for worldwide transaction and business goods purchasing means what will happen?
Then what governments will do?
I guess I am the only bitcoin user in my city though it has more than 2 million population. If bitcoin is adopted even by 50% of total world population,it will make governments accept it and give legal acceptance
2942  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The British government is considering paying out research grants with bitcoin on: April 27, 2016, 06:38:18 PM
Good news. This is definitely going to give bitcoin a great boost.I am sure other Governments will follow in the footsteps of British Government and give bitcoin its due recognition
2943  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: How much can I earn from faucets? on: April 27, 2016, 06:32:27 PM
And what are best ways to earn fast BTC's?
If you mean how much you can earn with visiting faucets then answer is not too much.Even if you visit all available faucets daily, you would be able to earn more than 0.0005 btc a month. If you mean how much you can earn by running a faucet then answer is it depends how much visitors you get.The best free way to earn Bitcoin is signature campaigns on this forum
2944  Economy / Economics / Re: How would you double $100,000 safely? on: April 27, 2016, 11:09:05 AM
I have $100,000 to invest but want to safely double it in a year. Any suggestions?
You can set up a small mining farm for that amount if you have some space available.Remember every investment involves risk so there is no way your investment is guarantee to double
2945  Economy / Services / Re: Is this alright? on: April 27, 2016, 11:04:17 AM
This is not going to work as nobody will trust you with his account and if you are really confident you can sell those accounts, why not buy them yourself. You can negotiate seller to sell you for less than 0.005 btc.You can than sell it
2946  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bull trend: better to hold or trade? on: April 27, 2016, 10:58:08 AM
As price is expected to rise further this week, holding is the only best option.Keep an close eye on market as price might start falling anytime next week
2947  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Give me advice pls! (Online shop) on: April 27, 2016, 10:48:36 AM

2948  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Price of Bitcoin is Now Double What It Was One Year Ago on: April 27, 2016, 09:38:58 AM
Bitcoin prices have more than doubled over the last year, enjoying a period of reasonable growth as the digital currency continues to establish its legitimacy.

Global bitcoin prices reached an inter-day high of $470.16 on 26th April, more than 100% above the inter-day high of $219.93 reached on the same day in 2015.

So what do you think? Will it double again until 26th April 2017? Grin  In my view it will as halving is coming. Cheesy
Not just halving but many positive things is going to happen for bitcoin in near future like acceptance of bitcoin by many governments, more bitcoin users and of course halving will all lead to price increase
2949  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japan Officially Recognizes Bitcoin and Digital Currencies as Money on: April 27, 2016, 09:33:17 AM
It is exciting to know that bitcoin is gaining its due recognition.Hope after Japan other countries will follow the suit although unless any country explicitly declare bitcoin illegal,I dont think it is going to make any difference if governments approve bitcoin or not
2950  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Banks Hates Bitcoin? on: April 26, 2016, 10:29:53 PM
Why banks hate bitcoin... And why we no longer need them...

What banks can do better than bitcoin. If bitcoin also have almost all features of banks.  Only must have an internet and you can use bitcoin already.

And bitcoin has faster transactions than the bank and more secure I guess.
Every business hates the competitor and bitcoin is not only competitor to Banks but it has the capabilities to completely wipe out banking system from financial sector.
That said,I strongly feel that bitcoin and bank can co-exist without any problem
2951  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's Price Starting to Go Up.... on: April 26, 2016, 10:25:53 PM
in the next two months the price will only go up, then maybe there will be a dump and at the end of the year we expect miracles again  Grin

Nothing goes only up. At some point the price will stop rising as it finds a price point to settle at. A lot people are expecting the price to reach a high of over $1000 this year, but it won't happen. We don't have MtGox anymore to keep pushing the price up constantly.
I sold all my coins last month. Now I feel sad for selling them.I hope bitcoin price get back to $400 so that I can buy my coins back Sad
2952  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature campaigns and bitcoin price on: April 26, 2016, 10:23:24 PM
I was wondering what will happen to bitcointalk forum's signature campaigns if bitcoin price reach very high say $10,000 per bitcoin? will campaign continue to run as current payouts which would be in thousands dollar per member or will all campaigns suddenly come to halt because nobody would want to spend their coins
Firstly, how do you imagine that if bitcoin price reach $10000 signature campaigns could keep current payrates. Do you think they are idiots and they want to bankrupt. If bitcoin price will rise, they will simply adjust campaign payment rates to current price.
I didn't say they will continue paying current rates.
There won't be anymore signature campaigns. The owners will be basking in the sun on a beach somewhere living off the bitcoin that they made from the campaigns in the first place  Roll Eyes.
No.I think if bitcoin price reach $10,000, there would be more signature campaigns because more people will join bitcoin community and all bitcoin related business will flourish

2955  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: World's First Nationally Licensed Bitcoin Exchange 'Bitstamp' on: April 25, 2016, 09:32:05 PM
Hi All,

Quote
European bitcoin exchange Bitstamp has become the first fully licensed bitcoin exchange in Europe. The license will go into effect on July 1st and marks the first time that a bitcoin exchange acquires the license as a fully regulated payment institution, in the world.

I think its great move which will have positive impact on digital currency industry globally. What is your opinion?

Thank you
CryptoJeweler
Thats good but wouldn't that make it regulated and under government control? They will have to share all their users data with government, this may be a move to impose taxes on bitcoin or its transaction
2956  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we Manipulate Bitcoin price? on: April 25, 2016, 09:28:09 PM
Most people complain about governments manipulating fiat currencies and now you want to do the same with Bitcoin? Shame on you, for even asking people to do this. Bitcoin should be immune against any form of manipulation. We should put Bitcoin in as many people's hands as possible to distribute the wealth and to prevent whales or groups of wealthy people to manipulate the price.

We should improve the failures of the previous currencies not profit from the new technology and create new wealthy individuals or groups, who has the power to manipulate your wealth, because they have enough money to do that.
I didn't say we should manipulate bitcoin,I said can we manipulate it's price and there's a difference in manipulating price and manipulating bitcoin which is not possible in any case.
I know there are many big players who manipulate bitcoin price and make huge profits but can we the bitcointalk members also form a cartel and let bitcoin price never fall?is it possible that we manipulate price as I am sure most of bitcoin users visit this forum

that is an interesting question. and i think the answer depends on how much money this "we" owns. bitcoin market is not longer a small market like 3-4 years ago it has grown so big that in order to manipulate it you would need a huge capital.
but don't underestimate the power of FUD and hype, it is sometimes so powerful that can change the price easily.
I assume we members hold atleast 30% of total bitcoin among ourselves
2957  Other / Off-topic / Re: what you like best in Bitcoin ? on: April 25, 2016, 09:23:37 AM
for me Bitcoin allows me to hold some saving out of the banking system and the hands of the government.
What I like is that Bitcoin allows me to save money and make money at the same time. And the fact that personal information is not really needed makes it even better.
To me bitcoin is something that can make me rich without spending a dime.I earn coins with signature campaigns, invest them in trading, earn profit.
2958  Economy / Speculation / Re: BIG PUMP STARTED .. $400 SOON on: April 25, 2016, 09:14:35 AM
Given the past record of bitcoin prices,I expect price to begin falling this week.I hope it turns out to be a wrong assumption but I have already start selling
2959  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Why BTC price in BTC-e is 2-3% lower than other markets? on: April 25, 2016, 09:10:19 AM
Why BTC price in BTC-e is 2-3% lower than other markets?

One should always check rates at different exchanges before buying or selling bitcoins. Each exchange has different volume of trade and that determine their rates.
2960  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we Manipulate Bitcoin price? on: April 24, 2016, 10:07:51 PM
It's possible if we as community team up and form a massive amount of buy support, but the fact is that the majority of the people here are small holders and have barely a reasonable amount of money to have an impact on the price, even not with plenty of these people.

I can remember that it happened with certain altcoins back in 2014 where the whole community of that altcoin used to give a certain coin a massive pump. I think a good example of that is BlackCoin. It got pumped like there is no tomorrow, and it fell down again like there is no tomorrow at some point.
We wont need much money all we would need is a strong commitment from each member that they wont sell their coins till the predetermined price is achieved. This will create demand and supply gap in market to some extent that will benefit all of us
