The Covid 19 really caused a lot of havoc to the football industry and some leagues are yet to recover from it's effects especially the Chinese leagues that was once gaining more popularity than the Saudi Pro League but is nothing to talk about currently, but gladly for the European club the Saudi Pro League is helping them in generating funds by buys their most priced players while they're also trying to build their league to meet up to  the standard of top European leagues.
 But anyways the COVID-19 shouldn't be a big excuse for some top European clubs performance cause it's been 3years now and despite the set back most Italian clubs where still able to perform well in the European cup competition last season three Italian clubs qualified for finals in 3 European cup competitions though they lost all three, but that doesn't mean there failure should be blamed on COVID-19 impact which occurred 3 years ago.

You're right @Wend, the claims that that the Nuno Santo boss told the Al Ittihad board that Benzema does not fit his tactical style and he did not request the transfer, are not true and is said to be rumors because according to the news Nuno Santo denied the claims and responded with a statement saying "that he reads  in the press that his relationship with Benzema is not good, but everyone who him will would know that's ridiculous"
 He also said that his relationship with all the players is good, and that they've good a strong group and  the players are happy together and also happy to have Benzema in their with then, and when asked about Benzema he said the player is happy on the pitch and the fans could see that he's happy to play for Al lttihad and he understand the reason for the claims but they're a strong band so fans should disregard any claims of Benzema leaving or the coach getting sacked.

I think their performance against big clubs in the Champions League depends on how fast and well the new signings adapt to the club, if you noticed they started with a poor form this season and would need to start getting a better understanding amongst themselves so to score more goals and dominate good margin like they've done in previous times.
 The previous squad they had last season looks better than this because it was filled with world class players but still they didn't perform well in the Champions League last season and lose against some smaller teams in the league, however teams success is not necessarily about having too much squad or top players but it's the team spirt and understanding about each other that matters more and thats what this current squad would need if they really want to succeed this season.
 Luis Enrique is a very good coach that had experience with top clubs in the past and have coached some of the best players across Europe so the task ahead would not be very difficult for him to handle and I know he'll try his best to shape the PSG team into a stronger one this season.

I think If Salah departs the team it might affect them in a way this season because he's one of their top player, just like it happened to them when Mane departed to Bayern Munich 2 seasons ago it really affected them and Jurgen Klopp cannot afford to make sane mistake of letting Salah go at this point in time, I don't think any amount of money would make him let go of his star player this season when he's already lost few to the Saudi Pro League, Salah is an important player for Liverpool and selling him for now won't be beneficial to their team, because they'll need him, if they want to get back into the top 4 and challenge in the Champions league ones again, it is true they didn't make any key signing this summer but the ones they made could suprisenly make a difference and the ones they signed last season aa well would help assist the team to make a difference this season, Klopp has made it clear on his decision of keeping Salah in the team, it's left for Salah to decide if he'll remain in the Club or join the SPL league,  but left for me i think a move is unlikely to happen.

You're obviously right because it would had been a very big embrassment to lose against a team who just got newly promoted from the championship league into the EPL,  and glad Chelsea won today after an embarrassing defeat from Westham, it their 1st victory for this season and it would help boost the morale of their  team and help them even perform better, and if you noticed some new signings are beginning to pick up and we're so impressive today, but one player that got my attention was Raheem Sterling, he played very brilliantly and even had a brace today, I'm not very suprised though because though they lost their last match he was played well and created good that weren't converted and if he continues with this form, he could earn the player of the yesr for Chelsea this season.
 I like the fact that Chelsea dominated their opponents in every aspect of the game, it shows that they're beginning to bounce back from the errors of their previous match and that's why they come up with a brilliant performance today, apart from Sterling    Malo Gusto was another player that impressed today and I'm loving the partnership between him and Sterling, he delivered two good assists that led to Sterling's goals.

Celta Vigo were very impressive in the 1st half and had  goal  revoked  by var in the 3rd minutes of the game due to foul committed and they pressed more in the 1st half making it very tough for Realmadrid to get good chances and when Vinicius Jnr  got injured I felt it was going to be the end for Realmadrid and that they'll lose the game but suprisenly the 1st half ended with a draw with Realmadrid losing on of their key player to injury.
 The 2nd half was quite favourable for Realmadrid and they had good chances of getting more goals, what suprised me was that Rodrygo missed a chance to score a penalty and make the match 0-1 in their favour towards the 69th minute, but Jude Bellingham came to their rescue once again  and scored a header at 81 minutes of the game, I made a state in a post sometime ago that he was going to keep scoring and would probably score in his next match and suprisenly he did, this young lad has been very impressive since the came to Realmadrid and has made his new team not to feel the absence of their former striker Benzema, Jude Bellingham is in a great form this season and I hope he maintains it till the end of this season, Realmadrid  are still sitted on top of the table with 9 points and would be looking to have another win in their next match against Getafe.

I think it's a very big decision for salah and this is a test of loyalty to his current club Liverpool because Al-lttihad has given an offer that he might not likely reject an offer that would make him earn even more than Cristiano Ronaldo in the Saudi Pro League and their are other things apart from religion that would make him consider moving to the Saudi side, which is the fact that he'll be closer to his family and earn more than enough to carter for them.
 But on the other hands the still have the fans and club to please and his decision would determine how Liverpool fans would react on social media towards him, so he's currently left to choose between being loyal to his present club and making more money, being closer to his family and religion, but left for me I feel he might decide to remain in Liverpool for the rest of the season then move out next summer.

Manchester united have suffered another setback with an muscle injury sustained by Luke Shaw who is set to miss the match against Nottingham Forest, I feel so sorry for Erik Ten Hag because I feel he'll be in a confused state at the moment,  while he's still trying to figure out a solution for the midfield problem, and now he's left to attend to another serious problem from the left back due to the recent injury sustained by  Luke Shaw.
 He's Lacking options at the moment in that position with Malacia yet to recover from an undisclosed injury and Williams set to move out of the team, Ten Hag might be forced to play Dalot in that position, he's tried him there in previous times and it worked but it's risky regarding a situation whereby Wanbissaka is booked or sustains injury then there would no other options to play in the right-back position, with the multiple injury records in Manchester united I don't think this season would be a favourable one for them and they might likely lose their next 3 matches.

Augsburg is no doubt a good team, but the odds favourite Bayern Munich cause they've got a better squad and would be playing with a home advantage and i think with their precent form which they've shown against Werder Bremen, winning Augsburg won't be a difficult task for Tuchel's team, he'll want to impress the fans and also gain their full trust and support in delivering them trophies therefore he'll want to continue with a good winning streak.
 Also if you check their head to head you'll understand that they played about 30 league matches and Bayern Munich have been very dominant over the years winning about 23times while Augsburg won only 5 and the 2 were a draw match, Augsburg drew there previous match against Möchenglabach and winning against a Bayern Munich team, that played won 4 - 0 in their previous match won come easy,  especially when they're playing from home.

Lukaku might not have the pace or much as fast as most coaches would want their front man to be but he's very reliable at crucial times and has proven himself at in England at Everton and Manchester United and also across England at intermilan in the previous season before this, he's very strong and of a truth has his own qualities he could hold off defender while guiding the ball to the 18yard box of the opponent.
 Even when he was in a very good form, Chelsea still loaned him for another season to Intermilan therefore i don't think Pochettino would likely give him a chance in his squad the best thing for Lukaku is to move to another club where he'll get enough playing time, and since he's missed an opportunity to be signed by Intermilan and featured in the Champions league, anyways moving to the Saudi Pro League won't be a bad idea, cause he'll benefit financially and also get playing time.

With the way things are going i don't think it would take very longer before the Saudi Pro League turns into one of the best leagues in the world, they’ve signed a handful of good europeu players between this season's and last that would help develop the league and make it more competitive than previous times and i think they're doing great in handling the signing process all thanks to the financial stability and the absent of the FFP rules over the league, making it possible for them to sign multiple players with a huge fee and not attracting and penalties.

 Verratti is a very good talented footballer and has played in one of the best clubs and had experience playing with top class players in PSG over the years therefore his arrival would mean alot to the SPL and any club decides to join and i understand that  Al Hilal are the  only Saudi club in contact with Verratti and they've agreed personal terms for over a month now.

 Well I think a lot of viewers are not going to be pleased about that statem ent and there would be questions in the air over whether there's been a previous secret affair between both involved ìn the act, well left for me i think he got carried away by their victory but calling viewers idiots is not professional.

I guess you meant Lisandro Martinez because Harry Maguire the former captain have been benched for over a long time in Manchester united and didn't start in the match against Tottenham rather it was Lisandro Martinez and Rafael Varane who are the preferred choice in the centre back position that started the game, however the problem of Manchester United in that match was not coming from Martinez, I think there problem is not even the defence line but the midfield, Mason Mount and Bruno Fernandes are almost alike and not fit to play the midfield together, also the Defensive Midfield Casimiro ain't in the good form and would need a challenge in that position to help him pick up.
 Also Rashford is playing out of position and Manchester really need a striker so as for Rashford to move to his preferred position, another player that's underperforming is the Brazilian winger Antony he's not lining up to the amount he was bought for and needs to be benched, i also think Gernacho is not really to play as a starter in the club and performs better when introduced from the bench, lastly united needs be hasty in offloading about 2 more players as a to get in new arrivals to strengthen weaker positions especially the midfield area.

Well he might be lucky enough to get a club before the transfer market ends and Roma are not the only club, rumoured to trying to help him leave Chelsea, there are two other EPL clubs that are in his demand, there are rumours that Tottenham are in need of a new striker in replacement for Harry Kane and has included Lukaku as an option for that position and if the rumors are true I don't think his fee would be ab issue for Tottenham who just got a £100m for the departure of Harry Kane to Bayern Munich.
 The other clubs that's all shown Interest in the deal is Westham and they've sold Scammaca to Atlanta and are in need of a replacement and support to Antonio who's there current top 9, well this one doesn't seem likely because Westham might find it featuring both Antonio and lukaku in one match, however if he fails to get another club this summer chelsea might seek alternative from the Saudi Pro League or probably leave him in the squad till the winter window opens.

It's very sad to know that a team like Marseille got kicked out from playing in the Champions league by Panthinaikos and I feel that's the reason for their poor performance in their league even while Metz got a red card they still find it difficult to turn the game around but ended up with a draw which means they probably would had lost if Metz where not given a red card.
 I don't really think it's about the investment because while about 10 players departed the team including Alexis Sánchez and Dimitri payet that are free and without club currently, Marseille registered about 10 new signings though for cheaper prices amounting to €67.50m but they got some quality players like Renan lodi, from Atlético Madrid, Aubameyang from Chelsea, Sarr from Watford and Kondogbia from Atlético as well amongst others,  what I feel is that they didn't invest on more quality rather focused on the quantity and now some new arrivals are having difficulties in adapting to the team, also they shouldn't had let Sánchez leave he might be old but still has a lot to offer the team judging from his previous performance with them.

I don't know him much as well but according to my research he's a professional goalkeeper that players for the Israeli national team and club side Maccabi Tel Aviv, and he was supposed to move to Bayern Munich today, but a deal could be finalised on Thursday after his last match with Maccabi against Celje, and according to the news he was pushing more on moving to Bayern Munich and finally it's becoming a reality thereby ending the goalkeeper saga of Bayern.
 They've finally got a young goalie that would replace sommer, and serve them for a long term before and probably after Neuer  recovers that's if he performance better than expectations, the club could be forced to let Neuer leave due to his age, now the arrival of Daniel Peretz means there no chance of David de Gea joing the team and I feel they didn't make a move for him due to his age and were looking for younger prospects that would serve for a long term after Neuer retires and that's why they went for Peretz.

Is so amazing that one player would come into a team and make a difference, he's changed them from one of the worst team in the league to one of the most recognised team currently and taking them from the bottom to the top area of the league shows how great of a player he is, at his age I expected his performance to reduce but he keeps attaining more records and recently outscored the all time highest goal scorer of his current club Higuaín, I won't be suprised if he's given another Balloon D'or title again to make it about 8 in his possession.
 Well trying to attain the all time goal scoring record might not come easy but would be possible, that's if he remains in the league for about 3 more seasons and score up to 60 goals per season which I'm not sure would be easy even though he's in a league where scoring goals doesn't seem very difficult for him.

I think Lukaku would really regret his actions this season if no Club comes to sign him permanently before the transfer window closes, he might be forced to remain on the bench or even terminate his contract and be free, right now he would had been the front man playing for intermilan but he rejected them and went behind to negotiate with one of their rivals who later cancelled the deal to sign Lukaku at a point when it was almost concluded.
 I think what he did was not professional because intermilan loaned him from the bench spell of Chelsea and gave him a chance of first team,  which brought out the best in him and even became one of their most outstanding players and played in the Champions League, even got to the finals with them, an opportunity he didn't had while he was in Chelsea, but when they needed to sign him permanently he disappointed them and  rather choose to play for Juventus who later rejected him.

I think Manchester United's poor form made it possible for them to win that match, if United had performed well without exposing their midfield area and thereby creating good chances for their attackers then it would had been another story altogether, I don't think I'll say they're ready for the top four or end up there when the tournament is over, with just a win against united yet, because they still got many top contenders for the top four this season and I'll love to see their performance against other inform top clubs.
 However Manchester united shouldn't be write off by this defeat cause things could turnaround for them like it did last season after a terrible defeat in their first two matches against Brent Ford and Brighton, Tottenham has good a good coach and he's going to help build the teams performance to a better one this season but I'm not yet convinced because the league just started and I'll love to watch them play against Mancity, Arsenal, Liverpool and Newcastle or even Brighton.
