4081  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What kind of rewards/bonuses do you prefer? on: July 31, 2023, 08:59:10 PM
It's obviously true that getting referrals these days isn't an easy job, those were different times when you would get referrals only by making a post with your referral link in a public group or a chatroom or something, because back then, less people were already registered at certain platforms so they used to sign up under you, but now a days, almost every single person knows and is already a member of almost every single platform you are using.

Also, before, people wouldn't want you to sit and explain every single thing to them in personal and then they would sign up, but nowadays, they would simply ignore your invites if you don't spend about 30 minutes explaining every single thing to them, and once you do that, then they will sign up.
The introduction of technology into gambling through the creation of online gambling platforms have made it possible for lots of people to join various gambling platforms and therefore it has hindered the ability for individuals invite new members through the referral links especially on social media and other related media platforms, however asides from the referrals means of getting new customers most online casinos have come up with several other strategies to attract customers and keep most of them to continue using their platforms for instance the huge welcome bonus that some platforms advertise on various social media platforms to attract new customers and also the cashback where bettors stand a chance of claiming some percentage of their lost bets.  All these are strategies they use in attracting customers and keep them to continue patronizing their platforms, that's to tell you that even though the referrals link process might seem tough lately gambling platform owners would still have other alternatives to keep their bonus going and offer other bonuses that are customer friendly.
4082  Economy / Gambling / Re: No bet is a waste on: July 31, 2023, 08:34:07 PM
I don't really see the point of this thread to be frank since op already abandoned it pretty quickly after talking about posting his bets regularly. He stated some silly stuff about no bet being a waste bet which makes zero sense.

Some bets are useless for various reasons and anyone with a half-decent brain knows that much.
Yeah, in short term he had stopped posting bets. Only thing I liked is the suggestion to spend little on the odds, so that it won't hurt even if the bet gets lost. No bet is a waste and this can be understood on different perspective. As a funny note this well suits with the gambling house rather than the gambler, because the house have its edge unlike the win/loss of the bet.
Well, Yeah, i agree with you, the phrase, "No bet is a waste" can be understood to be true or false, all depends on the perspective one choose to look at it from, for some people, they can believe that their bet was not a waste even after losing the bet/money, probably maybe because they learnt some thing through that which they knew not before.
But for the majority, it is hard for them to believe that their bet did not waste if they lose it, because one thing with gambling is that what ever money lost is never coming back, its gone, its gone.

Gambling casinos are the ones who can truly say that no bet is a waste for them since every bet is a potential win for them, because due to the settings of casinos, it is already widely known and accepted they will always win in the long run.
I agree with you @ Fivestar4everMVP and yes the rightful people that can say no bet is are the gambling platform owners because they stand more chance of winning every bet and they're more informed and have more possible strategies of ensuring that they keep their business going without going bankrupt, that's why these bookies come up with different strategies to attract more customers with huge bonuses that would convince them to sign up with their platform because they know they stand more chance of gaining than the bettors
Another set of people I feel doesn't see any bet as a waste but a potential win are those punters that's more experience in gambling and also have good strategies in making huge profits with little losses, most of these punters are so experienced that you'll feel they're born lucky cause they have possible ways of recovering their loss even when they make huge losses, and they believe every risk they take is a potential win for them.
4083  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gender in Gambling [differences between Women and Men in Gambling] on: July 31, 2023, 08:12:05 PM
Let's be real in discussing the actual matter here, someone like me cannot allow my sister to be a gambler, i have so many reasons to use as evidence in avoiding her for doing such because in my own place where i live, it's not common seing women into gambling and the men that does it were seen as jobless fellows, if women should engage in gambling then maybe through their personal phone and not going to the public casinos for gambling, it's not about the culture here, but being mannered and courtesy.
Let me give you this simple example,  take it as if your sister bought an American lottery ticket that gives her relocation and works overseas and the chance to relocate with dependence,  if you find yourself in that situation will you still blame or kick against your sister from gambling or not.

I think it is better that regardless of what the reality is,  there shouldn't be discrimination in terms of gender in anything that involves risk or luck like gambling.
Wiwo you've made a very good example and I believe that in that situation 80% of guys if not 100 especially those living in an uncivilized society would see that as an opportunity to relocate to a better place and would even forget that they were  even against their sister when she wanted buying the lottery. One thing I noticed from your suggestion is that people would always be in support of something when it beneficial to them. But kick against it when they think it's of no gain to them.

Regardless of different peoples culture or traditions that doesn't permit women to involve in certain things they feel is in proper or ill mannered due to their gender. I believe in gender equality and I also think that every has a right to their choice and shouldn't be discriminated even if it involves risk taking or not, well all thanks to technology that has made it possible for women to gamble online at the comfort of their home without being abused or discriminated
4084  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gamble! Easy or Hard? Let's talk. on: July 31, 2023, 07:03:14 PM
There are any senario like this and some gamblers even if they are too addicted if they found Thier true love or let say  girl friend then they will sacrifice Themselves and leave gambling forever than leaving his girl. And also even me if I am in the situation then I'll choose my girl and leave my gambling. Even though we can not deny the fact that once we got addicted we need to control ourselves in order to brt greediness and spontaneous decisions.
That is correct. Finding something that might interest us more can be a way for us to leave gambling forever. But it seems it's still not easy because we really have to be able to realize that what we are doing in gambling has crossed the line so that we can try to get out of gambling. And finding something more interesting can help us to get out of gambling. Maybe it's best before we get addicted to gambling, we should be able to control ourselves so we don't experience problems that might impact our lives.
No one knows that they are going to get in trouble until they get in it, similarly, someone wouldn't know that they are going to get addicted to gambling before the time they realize that they have actually become addicted to it, and even that doesn't happen with every addict because most of them will argue that they are not addicted to gambling but they just gamble normally, they would also not accept the fact that they are in a problem and need help.

So, only the ones who actually realize that they are addicted and are having problems in their lives because of it would consider finding something else that they can do so that they can get away from their gambling addiction, it will be difficult for sure, but if one really wants to do it, they can get success eventually.

Cheating is the first thing any addict does, whether it's gambling addiction, or alcohol and drugs. And you didn't know that those who can't control their desire to play gambling are being treated in the SAME clinics where drug addicts are put. It is so! From this, a game addict cannot understand at all what he is doing here. He believes that he has nothing to do with all these people, because he is not like that - I write this from the words of gamblers who gave interviews about their treatment. And unfortunately for the first time they are never truthful in their treatment. They cheat and pretend that they want to get well, but in fact they still want to leave here and continue betting. And only by the 3rd time (according to statistics) they REALIZE their problem and realize that "this game is stronger than them." And then comes an absolutely honest treatment and a desire to change.
The thing is that most gamblers have become so comfortable with the addiction of gambling even when they've discovered their addiction for it, it's just like a drug addict that knows he's still have a thing for drugs but would pretend they've repented so they'll be free to go continue with their additions somewhere they can't be monitored, maybe until he's been affected very negatively by it that's when he'll realize himself and be willing to change and sometimes it might seems too late to be helped maybe in situations where it's lead him close to his death, in the case of severe gambling addiction it might not kill you directly but you might suffer a huge loss that could that could cause a high blood pressure or steal of satisfy your gambling addictions and get caught.
Sometimes most people do not realize their addiction for it on time and might have caused alot of financial damage to them self without them even realizing how much they lost to the casinos, gambling addiction is one thing that's very easy to adapt to but very difficult to quit in some cases, it has led many youths in the 3rd class countries where there's adverse poverty rate to their early grave and recently in my neighborhood two brothers almost killed themselves because the younger one stole money meant for rent bill to go gamble in a nearby casino, that's an effect of gambling addiction and it's not easy to quit without help.
4085  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A weird belief among some gamblers. on: July 31, 2023, 06:44:13 PM
There's this scene I witnessed today at a local sport betting house  and I found it very funny and unbelievably true at same time. A certain young man after making his predictions placed his bet and his betting slip was printed to him then another gambler in the house approached him and asked to make a rebet of his games for himself but I was shocked when the young man refused with the excuse that he doesn't share his predictions that sharing it will make him lose his bet. More like having his luck to win reduce or changed maybe because the person he shared his games with could be someone with a bad luck on that day.

Although I have heard of behaviors like this with some gamblers  but I never believe it not until I witnessed it myself today and it was weird to me imagining how you will get to lose your bet by allowing someone else rebet it. In all my years of gambling I believe that a game prediction that will play as predicted will definitely play not regarding the number of people that bet on same prediction.

So why this belief or do you think it could be true? Or is it one of those superstitious belief among gamblers?
Do you feel cool sharing your predictions with other people and how has the outcome been looking at all the times you have shared your predictions with others?
Different  people have their Different beliefs that they feel works for them whether superstitious or not, that believe is what they live by and most times it works for them, left for me I don't think that sharing my predictions with another bettor would bring me badluck because I was introduced into gambling by a friend who has some good strategies of making daily profit from sports betting, to convince me into the game he shared one of his predictions with me and it came out successful and that's what got my attention to sports betting because he was able to prove his winning ability by giving me a predictions that made me win good money on my first trial.
However, I've also shared some games I got from him to other friends and it also came out good except for the one's who out of greed decided to include some games to the predictions I gave them, now what I'm trying to say is that everyone have the way they picture certain things and most times it might not seem right to the next person but if such things have been proven, like in a case where someone has shared his predictions severally and it turns out bad but didn't share and won he might start developing a mentally that sharing his bet brings badluck and continue with that believe, though I'm not superstitious and I don't believe in such.
4086  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How quick do altcoins pump in bull run? on: July 30, 2023, 06:58:30 AM
Many predict bulls will come and this is expected by true holders who have prepared all assets that they believe have good potential from research results. I was hoping to find something unexpected like old coins stashed in my wallet from participating in a bounty campaign or an airdrop which could be a surprise as this has happened to me before as a lot of good things come when the bull comes

It might happen and also there's a possible of it not happening, those coins you got from participating in airdrops and bounties can give you profits because of the bull market or they might just be dead coins that didn't get listed because the team abandoned it as they couldn't raise enough capital from the Presale or because thedevelopers were scammers that just ran away with investors money.
Don't depend on those bounty tokens if you want to make big profits this bull market instead invest in some good altcoins from your own pocket. Put money into coins like Arbitrum as it could be big as Polygon is and also look at some new projects that can give you profit before the bull market ends. Some old coins will do very well but they won't be bounty tokens unless they're listed on top exchanges.
And if you're investing in old tokens make sure they're still active and development are going on, on the project because if you don't do your research to make sure the project is still very active, you'll end up investing in an abandoned or dead project. Many old tokens will be delisted from exchange as we get closer to bull market that'll introduced new hot projects.
4087  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Memecoins Vs legit Altcoins in 2023 on: July 30, 2023, 06:45:47 AM
Before this year 2023, people were launching projects with whitepaper, roadmap and promote those projects with Their team. Memecoins were few but this year, situation is changed. Everybody is busy launching memecoins, no whitepaper, no roadmap. 8 projects are memecoin out of 10 projects.
It seems, this year will be full of memecoins. What do you think? Why memecoin launching is increasing so much in this year?

Many new projects getting launched aren't legit they're scammers taking advantage of the memecoin hype to launch fake project to scam people that'll fall for their tricks. We're about to enter the bull market season so scammers are launching memecoin to trick people that are believing they'll make a lot of profits if they invest in the new memecoin since other memecoin gave profits.
We'll likely see more increase in memecoin getting launched both the legit ones and the ones created mainly to scam investors. I'll trust only the memecoin on Binance exchange as Binance exchange won't list scam coins as that'll spoil their reputation. As we're still in bear market, they'll still low that if I buy them now I can make big profits when the bull market starts as coins are pumping.
Also it's because of the success of Dogecoin, Shiba Inu, floki and the rest of other successful memecoins that's why more meme coins are getting launched. Investors are looking for the next meme coin so they're investing in everything relating to meme coin that's why more are getting launched both the legit ones and the ones created to scam investors by scammers.
4088  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can I understand meme coin good or bad position? on: July 30, 2023, 05:51:29 AM
And those promises should be in fact the very first sign there is something wrong with a project, when Satoshi released bitcoin he never made any promise about bitcoin becoming an amazing investment down the line, in fact he was very candid about the real possibility that any money invested in bitcoin could be lost.
And yet the developers of a project which is obviously many times inferior to bitcoin dare to claim their project will produce profits? That is not happening, and anyone with some common sense will be able to tell immediately that such a coin is a scam.

Any memecoin that comes out with the claims that they'll make all their investors rich is a scam that wants to steal their investors money and exit scam. There's nothing wrong hyping your project because of the confidence you have in the project and because memecoins need hype to do very well but as you hype don't promise your inventors an assurance of making profits.
You can hype the project of doing well but don't be specific of how much they'll make as investors will begin to see your memecoin as scams. Before anybody invest in a memecoin, they should already know that they'd taking a big risk as the memecoin can do well or become a scam. If you don't want to risk losing your money then investing in Bitcoin as it's the only safe option.
But if you invest in altcoins be ready for anything that happens and then when you invest in memecoins be prepared for the worst because that's where the highest pumps and dumps schemes happens. But that doesn't mean you can't make profits from investing in memecoin, you can make profits but you have to be smart about it and not marry any memecoin you invest into.
4089  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why people are always interested in altcoins on: July 30, 2023, 03:00:55 AM
similar thought as yours op. Bitcoin is unbeatable but it need to gain a large marketcap to increase it value twice where altcoins can easily manipulated, hyped and could pump 10x within a day! So to grab more profit, public are ready to give most priority to altcoins investment but high gain indicates High risk.there's no guaranteed profit at all even very possible to get scammed overnight.

Altcoins are riskier and riskier investment means more possibilities of higher returns, bitcoin is an old investment while altcoins are new investment that's still hot and investors will be interested more in them. Bitcoin doesn't do any promotion but altcoins investors are always promoting their project and this mean more people will get to know about the altcoins and invest in them.
Where there's more investors that's where there'll be more profits. Altcoins are of different varieties and this means you can invest in any sector that you like. You can decide to invest in memecoin, metaverse, defi, AI etc. There are different options of investment with altcoins and that's why people like to invest in altcoins as their investment isn't limited to just one coin when investing in altcoins.
Another reason people are interested in altcoins is because when you make profits you can sell altcoins easily but if you sell your bitcoin, you're losing long term because Bitcoin will always increase in the future but altcoins can die after this current bull market because some altcoins will collapse during the bear market as they don't have enough money to pull through the bear market.
4090  Economy / Gambling / Re: Using ToS against users normal? on: July 29, 2023, 07:44:55 PM
Changing of terms and conditions without notifying the users or gamblers is normal with online gambling websites? Then when you did something wrong or about to withdraw your money they will tell you that you don't read their terms and conditions, and you start arguing with them until you decide to read the ToS again and you find out that it's different.

Some gambling websites consist of wicked owners that willingly plan to defraud their users using the ToS against them, or is this normal? Have such happened to anyone on this forum before?
The terms and conditions of some platforms changes over time and legalised betting platform would always inform their customers about a in their ToS or before they intend making any new rules and regulations of their platform, it is very good to go through the term and conditions of a platform, read through thoroughly and see if their new changed term is suitable for you, I've heard of situations where people get carried away by huge bonuses offered by some betting platforms and then would rush to create an account with the platform without even checking their term and conditions, reading a platforms ToS I's what most bettors fail to do because they feel it same with every other onces they've come across but no, different platforms ToS might looks similar but slightly different from eachother.

It's only those platforms that are not legalised or those cloned by hackers that would come up with strategic ways of using the ToS to defraud users of their money asides that sometimes some legalised sites involves wagering demands and other policies for withdrawals and most people that didn't go through the ToS or skipped just to claim huge offers from the site, would have this issue and put the blames on the site owners, forgetting that they're the ones who fail to read and understand the platforms terms and conditions.
4091  Economy / Gambling / Re: Some poker terminologies you may want know on: July 29, 2023, 07:11:58 PM
To dismiss luck as irrelevant and declare poker purely a game of skill would be overstating the case. Both chance and skill are essential to the outcome of any game, including poker. While a more seasoned player has a statistical edge, the luck of the draw can always swing the game in another player's favour.

The analogy to chess is, well, not perfect. In a game of chess, all of your opponent's pieces and their prospective actions are completely visible to you, while in a game of poker, certain information is concealed from you. Because of this, bluffing becomes an essential part of the game of poker. Therefore, it is more of a subjective than objective comparison to say that poker is easier than chess.
I keep repeating the same thing whenever I see someone referring to Poker as a game of skill and not luck while in reality, it's a game of both luck and skills, how the hell would someone be able to win against someone who has flush having only a two of a kind in his hand? So, you might be a good player of Poker and you know bluffing and all other stuff that might give you an edge over newbies, you definitely need luck on your side in order to get good hands.

Almost every single card game is about the cards that you get and those cards are what determine the level of your luck at a particular time, if you are not getting good cards at a session, it simply means that your luck is not on your side and you are most likely going to lose more than win in that session.
I'm not really into Poker but I know a little about and I want to add that it's a wrong statement for one to say Poker  more of a game of skills than luck, in all gambling activities, whether Poker, Football betting and so fort you'll need both skills and luck, they both work together for one to be able to win, to me I'll say the skills you have in poker brings you luck and more chances of winning, but sometimes you can be very skillful but very unlucky because you keep getting bad cards that makes your chances of winning little that's why I said both skills and luck work hand in hand in poker.

Luck plays a better role in all gambling games, and in poker you can be the best and most skillfull but if you fail to get a good hand then you might be really unlucky to lose because if your opponet has a better hand and is skilled as well then they stand more chances at winning regardless of your skills, that's why both luck and skills are very necessary to be a successful gambler
4092  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you stay updated on: July 29, 2023, 06:51:28 PM
I start developing an interest in Boxing and UFC matches when I visited a relative, he is so into these types of sports and he seems to know a lot about it, by I have to keep myself from asking him what and what I should do to know more about such sports, I have this in mind to be able to make some bets or gamble on such sports, my problem is I don't know how, if anyone is into such sports where should I begin? Any special UFC or Boxing platform where I can read news and updates about such sports?

How do you bet on such games? What are the things to be on the lookout for? Because I believe this is different from football ⚽, I also don't have access to satellite dish like my relative does, this is how he is able to get the best out of these sports.

what information can you give someone like me?
I'm not really a fan of boxing though I love Anthony Joshua and view most of his videos of YouTube, but my advise for you is that if you're beginning to like or develop interests in a particular sports the best things to do is to make research about the particular sport and find out it's rules and regulations and how it's been operated you mustn't have a dish to watch it  since you already a cell phone, it's a fight between two individuals and you got also research about their previous records and past matches  to help you make predictions, also while on your research you could check for top boxers and MMA fighters that had good records and bet on them when they're fighting with someone that's not up to their standard or have good winning records as them.
To me I feel football is the easiest sports to bet on case it have more options to pick on, you could bet on players with highest number of goals, teams to score the highest goal, most corners kick, I'm the options for football is too numerous compared to Boxing where you can only bet based on an individuals strength, winning records and tittles.
4093  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble Responsibly on: July 29, 2023, 06:15:44 PM
Irresponsible gambling have lead many people to make very big mistakes in life, gambling is not a bad thing but there are several harmful effect it could cause when people fail to apply the risk management in it, these effect are very harmful and could lead one to death, imagine losing a huge sum of money maybe the one you borrowed or money for rent to gambling, you could develop a high blood pressure and die that's why it's advised that people should be very cautious while gambling, the best way to see gambling is as a form of entertainment, not a major source of income or a place where you go double your money, because success is not 100% guaranteed, you might make profit and you might lose as well, therefore it's also wise to bet with a money you could lose without having remorse, nobody  willingly lose money but as an individual you must have a spare cash asides from the one meant for other bills, so that spare cash is the one that you should use to try out luck since gambling is a game of chance.
Another thing is that people don't know when to quit, you'll see someone losing up to 100$ daily and making little profits in return but would continue playing and believe they'll win a jackpot someday, yes there's a probability of that happening but chances are low and before you realise you've lost more than enough money to the platform, knowing when to quit makes one a responsible gambler because it would help you to study the game and strategise on games with low risk also it would help avoid reckless spending and much loss of funds
4094  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lotteries and possibility vs. probability on: July 29, 2023, 12:33:10 PM
Lotteries are popular because people can't count.

It's easy for us to calculate probability when something can happen 30% of a time or 10% of a time, our brain gets that, but when you go below 0.1% it really doesn't matter. Human brain sees it as very very low possibility, but existent. Then you can decrease it to 0.0001% and the person will still say that the possibility is very low, but it's there. So the lottery creators make sure you have a very very low chance, like 1 to a few million, and tell you that the entry fee is extremely low, like $1 and you go for it because your brain tells you "what if?"

This is true because on most cases, People is not looking on the probability of winning but rather on the potential prize size they think that they just betting small amount for a chance to win a money that will change their life. I never puchased a national lottery ticket because It’s hopeless for me to think that I will win a lottery with low win rate but I don’t blame other people for pursuing lottery bets since most of the lottery winners are common person that is a dreamer.

For me, Lottery is popular not because people can’t count since lotteries winning percentage is very popular as it is always being use as fun fact as the chance of being hit by a lightning twice is high probability than winning a lottery. Lottery is popular because of the huge jackpot prize in an exchange for a small bet same as slot games.
The thing is that when the price at stake is very high, people would want to have a trial to see if they stand a chance of winning not minding the probability of winning it, they believe on the possibility of winning by luck, and situations like this would always occur especially when someone else have proved that it's possible to win from the particular event, let's say for instance I have a friend that's won or heard about someone that won a lottery a huge sum of money with just a small amount, that alone would make me one to try as well and see if there's a possibility of winning just like my friend, everyone have dreams of being rich and think of different possible ways of making their dreams a reality and there are people who are lucky enough to achieve their dreams through lottery.
Most individuals would try their luck to see if they stand a chance of winning the huge prizes from lottery hence it's popularity, the price at stake would always attract people to have a fair trial of winning, even though the possibility is very high but there are chance that one could be lucky to win it and since there's a possibility of using a small money to win a jackpot people would always want to give it a trial thereby making lottery becoming more popular.
4095  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What altcoins do you think are currently still cheap but have good potential for on: July 29, 2023, 10:30:40 AM
In my opinion, altcoins that are worth investing in now and in the future are altcoins that have the most holders and there are movements in the market. among them are ethereum, Bnb, cardano, doge and Matic. I think that of the many altcoins I mentioned, they have the opportunity to provide benefits for each holder. besides that the altcoin has movement in the market. this is only in my opinion, if you are not sure what I mentioned then you may choose another Altcoin to invest

Investing into any cryptocurency project just because of the numbers of holders of the tokens is a wrong criteria to use in chosing a project to invest into. Firstly if you're investing in a coin that has many holders it might be already late to make big profits because it means the altcoins is already popular and the early investors has made the biggest share of the profit.
Secondly altcoins holders can be manipulated, there's no way to verify that one person doesn't have more than one address holding their tokens or the project owners didn't just do an airdrop to distribute the tokens to thousands of account as a form of marketing or to deceive investors for it to look like there are many investors interested in their projects and are holding.
Apart from cardano I have the other project you mentioned in my watch list as I'm also observing them and waiting for me to get a signal that the market wouldn't fall further for me to buy them. Don't always go for altcoins that are cheap but altcoins that has big potential to make you profit. Not all altcoins that are cheap are good, some are just dead that's why they're cheap.
4096  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which campaign is better? Bounty campaign or Signature campaign? on: July 29, 2023, 09:53:24 AM
Signature compaign is much better than bounty. Signature will produce quality poster and active forum member. reward is on the weekly basis and most of time btc were given to users. The only problem with signature is limited spot. Bounty is good for users who cannot make quality post and also their rank is newbie and cannot participate in signature. bounty have more spot and thus more users promoting project

Signature campaign focused just on the forum and advertisement aren't done outside of the forum but bounty campaign covers every social media sites and also signature campaign. Signature campaign must not have a limited slots, if you have the money you can open as many spots as you want. Everything depends on how much the companies is willing to spend on the campaign.
My signature campaign stake.com has allocated more money to their signature campaign than other projects on the forum, others can do the same and hire more posters to advertise for them on the forum but the results will be limited to those on the forum. Bounties will increase your presence on social media that'll help bring new investors and engagement to your project.
For a project that has so much money allocation for their marketing budget, they can do both bounty and signature campaign or instead of using tokens for the bounty campaign they can make used of bitcoin or stablecoin because it'll attract more participants that'll want to earn some money. Other project has done bitcoin paying bounties on the forum and were successful.

As long the internet exist, government can't shut down cryptocurrency industries, but rather implement tasks and that is what everyone have to expect from government, because here in Africa cryptocurrency market has empower many people in one way the other to earn as a leaving, which government jobs can not do. Therefore the early you concentrate on your crypto business the better for you, even government staff, same of the are big investors in the ecosystem.

The government can't shutdown the cryptocurency market but lets not undermine the power of the government because the government of every country is very powerful that if they wanted to make the lifes of cryptocurency investors miserable they can do that by passing laws that'll make cryptocurency investments not to look attractive to investors.
The government's are basically attacking cryptocurrency projects because they see them as a threat to their power and the government's don't want to lose power. Cryptocurency is decentralized but the government has no power to control a decentralized currency. Cryptocurency is giving power to the CEO of project like Cz because he's the CEO of Binance exchange.
He used his power to crash the price of FTX with negative tweets targeting the operations of the exchange. The government can also make the presence of a cryptocurrency project in their country relocation which could take the job of those working in the exchange away. Government are very powerful and if they decide to increase their attack on cryptocurency, it would have very negative effects on the market.
4098  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bounty really pay? on: July 29, 2023, 05:15:22 AM
The majority of bounty campaigns in the recent past did not pay a penny to the bounty hunters. After the bounty campaign was over mostly said that they would pay in a couple of months,  but no one paid apart from the few campaigns. A few projects that paid were not listed on any exchange, so in the end, every bounty hunter wasted their time promoting a fake/ scam project.

The market isn't favoring many projects and those project getting affected are those that aren't very popular. Investors aren't investing in anyhow project because they're scared that the tokens will not survive the bear market. They're only investing in top projects for now because those project can't scam them. When this low volume altcoins will do very well will be when we'll have the altcoins bull market.
But the altcoins season is not happening next year because bitcoin first have to have it's bull market before altcoins can benefits from the market. Bounty are low volume project so they're not getting trading volume or getting listed on top exchanges that's why it looks like you're wasting your time promoting bounties. The strategy that you can use to get money from bounties is to promote as many as you can.
Then you have to hold the tokens until we get into altcoins season then wait on them to get some hype and you sell your tokens. You can't make money from bounties in bear market because people aren't investing during this periods instead they're selling. When the market is dumping investors aren't interested in new projects so you're tokens won't have those interested in buying them.
4099  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you planning to accumulate for 2025 on: July 29, 2023, 05:04:43 AM
If we are talking about long term, I would stick to BTC and ETH to accumulate for 2025. However for short and mid-term, I would be after for those that are trending such as AI, metaverse, etc.

Right now AI is dominating and it may continue to trend for at least a few months or even more. These trends won't last for years.

For sure there's initial hype, but when that hype dies down, so as the trend. Always look out for new trends whether inside or outside crypto.

Bitcoin and Ethereum are perfect for the bull market because this two coins can give you nice profit as they'll always be among the projects that'll do good in the bull market. Bitcoin is the king of cryptocurency but the profits you can get from investing in altcoins can't be gotten from investing in Bitcoin and Ethereum because they're already having very high marketcap.
AI project will be a good trend to look at for the bull market season because the way AI has been trending throughout this year. Many companies in cryptocurency and outside cryptocurency are investing in Ai to build their bot like ChatGPT that'll assist human. When the bull market starts and more money are coming into the market, projects will have more money to fund their research.
Investing in one of this AI project that'll do very well can make you life changing money. Some AI coins has already done very well as the hype of ChatGPT made AI tokens to raise. Memecoin could be another trend that can give us good project in the bull market if we are accumulating them but we should be very careful of how we invest and not to trust only one project.
4100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SIGNS THAT A CRYPTO PROJECT IS A SCAM on: July 29, 2023, 04:51:48 AM
Can we check the projects through their social medias, that also include their twitter, Instagram, GitHub, and their telegram as well. Because most of the projects have blue ticks on their twitter account, but I have seen they can also do scam with the users who are connecting their wallets through their websites.

Social media verification can now be paid for so you don't have to trust every account that has the verification badge. Also scammers are hacking the account of verified business to scam people so trusting social medias channels is no longer a secured way to confirm if a business is real or not. This is  happening on all social media and not just twitter or Instagram.
We can't also trust platforms that are reviewing projects because they can be bought, project pays this platforms to give them good reviews or rating. Scammers can do everything that make their projects look genuine so they can scam many investors. The difference between a genuine project and a scam project are very small because tables can turn at any moment.
Also a project can turn into a scam at any minute because of the decisions of the owners of the project therefore you shouldn't invest everything into a project so that if it falls you don't lose everything. Most project owners are inexperienced in management so they can make mistakes that'll make investors not to trust the project again and this will make the project to fail.
