If Manchester city lose Bernando Silva,it will be bad for them because the player is so good and no team will want to lose him.He has achieved what he wanted to achieve,he has won premier league with the team, and also the Champions league, therefore, some of the players think this is the right time to make a move.PSG wants the player, but I don't think Pep will let him go,not after selling Mahrez and Gundogan to Barca and Saudi Arabian club, Bernando Silva is the next player that can fill that void left by those two players, and I would advise Pep to sign more players this season, because next season is really going to be tough and so competitive.I hope to see Bernando Silva still play for City next season.

I don't feel he'll leave City because loosing Bernardo Silva this summer is one thing Pep is not looking forwards to, I think he won't even give it a second thought because he's already lost two of his key players Gündonga and Mahrez and won't want to lose another key player in his starting 11 Pep know the quality he's got and he's been very beneficial to the team for the past years and has contributed to both goals and assists for the team, In a case where Kelvin Debruyne is not available due to injuries or rested in some certain matches Bernardo Silva is one player the team can comfortably rely on when it comes to creating good chances and giving assist, he's a very versatile player upfront and can play from the flank, midfielder or from the middle as an attacking midfielder.
It's true that clubs like PSG and Barcelona have interest in the player due to his good performance especially PSG that would get him in a blink of an eye if he decides to leave City but I don't see Pep letting another powerhouse leave to another top European club but I think he'll suit the style of play of Barcelona perfectly because they play with almost same tactics and he'll easily adapt to the Barcelona squad because of his good passing ability and moreover xavi would really love to have him in his squad, but when it comes to finances PSG Stand a good chance of getting him if he's up for transfer
4062  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: August 02, 2023, 11:38:02 AM
Manchester united who seems like the least performing club and couldn't strike deals with their targets at the early stages of the transfer window have turned out to be one of the most successful clubs in getting most of their transfer target recently and they've had several youth team rising stars loan to several clubs across Europe and cleared some squad depth for new signings to come in, the recent player that arrived the club is Rasmus højlund a very young and talented Danish striker from Atlanta.
He was part Erik Ten Hags strike Alternative to Harry Kane who was the most preferred player for the top 9 position, but the due the FFP rule that didn't permit United to spend more than £100m without offloading some players are also the fact that Tottenham chief Daniel Levy wasn't willing to lose their key man to another Premier league rival made Erik Ten Hag to switch his focus to the fast rising attacker, højlund, he arrived at England yesterday and is said to be having a medical with Manchester today, if a deal is finally completed his arrival would be very beneficial to the club because the striker position is one position  the coach needed to strengthen at all cost if he need to have a proper challenge for the upcoming season, they lacked force in that position with martial not really consistent due to his previous injury spells and Rashford deployed to the position most times but the presence of højlund would cause a lot different allowing Rashford to focus on playing in his preferred role from the flank.
4063  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: August 01, 2023, 10:33:35 PM
It's a shame that a young player who was expected to bring positive things to this club now has to suffer an injury and keeps him out of action for about 2 months. And even that could be more if the recovery process does not go smoothly.
He is still very young, it is not a big problem for him to focus on recovery for 2 months. I'm sure Real Madrid has enough facility to make the recovery goes smoothly. Real Madrid is one of the top clubs in the world, we shouldn't doubt how they will treat Arda. They should try their best to recover Arda's injuried as soon as possible.

Well I wish the best for this young player and also for the Real Madrid club. I feel that things have not gone smoothly this season for Real Madrid. Even in the pre-season match yesterday, Real Madrid were humiliated by a score of 3-0 by Barcelona.
Many fans expects to watch Arda Guler to play against Barcelona. Unfortunately, he was absent due to injury problem. People have a big hope that Arda Guler can give something differently in Real Madrid attacking. Arda Guler is a typical offensive midfielder who has an impressive dribbling ability. This may add more power in the attacking field. Well, let's hope that he can join the next El Classio. And he can help Real Madrid to win against Barcelona.

this is the more reason why many coaches like being tactical in featuring most of their key players in pre-season matches, to avoid situations like this from occurring, he's a young and talented rising star with good skills and good attacking abilities though his presence wouldn't really be felt because they have other quality and well experienced players that could feature in that position until he recovers from his injuries, but the Realmadrid coach would need such a player like him to feature in other competitions, though 2months might seems like a long time and he'll be so sad to be missing out on the early stages of the tournament where he'll be looking to impress so as to  contend for a spot in the starting 11, but I believe the medical team would work very hard to try and help him recover ever faster than expected, he's a young lad with good talent and his presence could create an impact with the team, Ancelotti would be so sad at this current incident having one of the rising star in his team suffer from a long injury before the season stars and would be looking forwards to having him back to the training ground again
4064  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is Gamble gaining more fans than Bitcoin? on: August 01, 2023, 10:16:24 PM
In the world to day gambling is leading instead of BitcoinBTC (crypto currency) and more are still wanting to join gambling because the minimum age to gamble is 18+ and lot of upcomings are waiting and this is the total amount of gamblers, so let's talk about the crypto currency (Bitcoin) we all know that Bitcoin is a good investment and it has changed a lot in the crypto world but the interesting part is that the numbers of Bitcoin investors can't be compared to gamble and my question is Why? or  is the risk involved in Bitcoin higher than gambling risk?
Just chesk this source
The thing is that gambling would definitely have more fans than Bitcoin because it have been dated far back even before our forefathers have had several forms of gambling and passed it on for generations till it got to the present time and have been enhanced by technology by creating online platforms where people can bet comfortable at various areas with their devices and it would remain so for more generations to come and for the fact that majority of people see it as a means of having fun while earning would even make it more attractive than Bitcoin.
Whereas Bitcoin is just the new evolution of money that's present in our own generation and was only created  in 2009 and currently adopted by few in several continents, the information of bitcoin is know to few people around the world making it less popular to gambling and the fact there's only one or two countries in the whole world that's made it a legal tender is enough to say that Bitcoin might be known by many but used by few people worldwide.
4065  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Healthy mindset to save earnings from gambling on: August 01, 2023, 10:00:34 PM
Usually, people who win in gambling but not able to cash out or save their winnings and I think this has something to do with a Healthy mindset.
If you do not have the intention to save the wealth, you will lose all your winnings by risking them again in another gambling bet.

Only a mentally strong person who has control over emotions and have money management skills would be the real winner here and will become rich eventually.

This is a very interesting thread and I want to thank you for the pictorial description in which you displayed, this image have also described the various mindset of different individuals, now what I'm trying to say is that you become what you feed your mindset with, if you're already a wealthy person and you've got this mindset of a poor person you think broke or don't know how to turn your wealth into multiple streams of earning you'll end up becoming broke someday.
But if you're poor but always have a mindset of working hard to earn, learning new ìdeas, developing new skills that would fetch you multiple income, with the little you have if you put it to a good use, there's a tendency that in the near future you'll be very wealthy and free from being broke, same applies to gambling, a rich gambler that always stake high, without applying risk management of gambling all in the name of having fun could ernd of go bankrupt someday and a poor man with a good gambling strategy, that knows the risk of involved and bet save could end up winning a jackpot someday and become rich, that's my own explanation to this thread.
4066  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: August 01, 2023, 09:40:15 PM
These rumors are spread by those who know nothing about football, but nevertheless a very funny rumor  Grin
As for the secret agreement between Real Madrid and Mbappe, either it is completely legal, or it is really secret and PSG can complain anywhere, but they have no evidence, so their complaints will remain empty words. If it were otherwise, we would have already seen specific accusations and not whining spread through 3rd parties.
Sometimes rumors are exaggerated or exaggerated by someone who doesn't know the original story even though we ourselves, who are often here reading all the news, dont necessarily know the truth of every rumor that is here and I am a little surprised if the Kylian Mbappe problem is linked to Real Madrid mistakes, that very ridiculous .
Even though Real Madrid are not really after this player, they are waiting for Kylian Mbappe to become a free agent or if not Paris SG lowers the contract price, but I admit that it is possible between Real Madrid and Paris SG and Kylian Mbappe to negotiate, but that does not mean that this is Real Madrid fault.
A little surprised by the rumors that are always exaggerated like this which makes me laugh a little loudly reading it

The problem with these rumors, which have been appearing in various variations lately, is not that their information is not true, but that they are fundamentally wrong. PSG cannot sell Mbappe anywhere without his will. PSG can't sell Mbappe at all - they can only agree to a forfeit if Mbappe moves to another club before the end of the contract. But in the rumors, Mbappe is described as a slave who can be sold anywhere.
Kylan mbappe is not just any player but a world class player that won't be push or forced to go play for an inferior league because of money or unwilling, my statement is in regards to the rumors that PSG accepted an all time bid from a Saudi league that was said to be turned down by him, of course no player of such quality as young as he is would leave a club competing for a  high level European tournament to go play for in league that's developing recently without and major trophy or competition
I don't think any amount of money would persuade mbappe to move to any teams that's not participating in the Champions League competition, it's either he moves to any top European team before the transfer window ends or remains in his current team and challenged for the champions league tittle until his contract expires next season but there's rumors that's he's secretly in talks with Realmadrid and has has and agreement secretly, if the rumors turns true and he moves to the Spanish gaints then that would very beneficial to both side and would help him in his career.
4067  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 on: August 01, 2023, 09:27:34 PM
The final score in the match between England and China was a resounding 6 to 1. The outcome of the England vs. Nigeria game on the sixteenth of this month is unknown to everyone. Each of them participating in the Women's World Cup is over if any of them loses the match. In order to continue competing in the Women's World Cup, I believe both the national teams of England and Nigeria will give it their all when they play one another.

Given that both national teams have defeated one another in their previous head-to-head meetings, both national sides (England and Nigeria) have two weeks to be ready for the encounter. There hasn't yet been a draw noted between them both. Three times that England and Nigeria have played, England has won two and Nigeria has won one.

The hero of the game is Lauren James. She is such an exceptional player that has contributed immensely to the success of the English side. She got a brace and contributed to three goals. The Chinese team was not impressive and I expected them to put up a strong opposition. The Lionesses dominated the match and the Chinese side managed to get a goal through a penalty. The English coach Sarina Wiegman brought in Jess Carter, Katie Zelem, and Lauren Hemp on starting lineup. And James was moved to the midfield and the result was awesome.

Nigeria will have to be exceptional to be able to win this talented English side. The Super Falcons didn't show much quality in their last game against Ireland so I am doubting their ability to beat the English team. Randy Waldrum will have to be technically sound to be able to withstand the quality of his opponent. The Nigerian attack led by Spain-based Assisat Oshoala would have to be less wasteful to ensure that created opportunities would be fully maximized. The English team has some of the best attackers so there is a need for Nigerians to keep scoring because the Lionesses will always score
It was a thing of joy from the camp of the super Falcon to qualify into the round of 16 for the female world cup tournament qualifying from a very tough group with the likes of Ireland, Australia and Canada, they had good performance against Ireland though it was a draw but won against Australia beating them 3-2 which gave them hope of moving on to the next round also a draw with Canada with a red card make sure the Super Falcons of Nigeria moved into the next round where they would be facings the Lionesses a very fierce and tough opponets to defeat.
The ball lies in the court of the England team and it would come as a surprise to me if they remove the Lionesses from the tournament because they've got more quality and experienced players and have had a good history in the tournament, the Super Falcons have to put more effort in the game and make every shot count because they more goals they score might determine there chances of remaining in the competition and all hope would be on the Nigeria female sensation Assisat Oshoala to help deliver the team to the next round she needs to be very tough and hungry for the goal because more pressure would be on her.
4068  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who is to be blamed, the gambler or the betting agent on: August 01, 2023, 09:06:54 PM
A situation occurred today in my locality,  I have some guys working for me today and suddenly I hard them battling with an issues and when I get close to them to know what exactly the problem is,  and I asked the guy who look strange to me since I am meeting him for the first time and not a worker on the site what his business and why he is distracting the workers from work.

Then the guy narrated his case to be and he said,  that one of the workers came to his betting shop the yesterday to play some visual,  that at first the guy came with ₦‎1,000 in my local currency to make the bets and along the line, he existed the balance but as a regular customer,  the agent decided to allow him at further on credits and in all he accumulated a total debt of ₦‎8,000 because he lost all the bets and since that yesterday he has been on the run from the gambling agent until he traced him to the site today.

So when I wanted to judge the case and possible settlement,  I query the casino agent how can you allow a customer to gamble on credit to the tune of 8k Knowing fully well that the gambler only has a 1k balance which already existed?

Also what is the probability that the gambler will ever return after owning such debt in the betting shops,  note the gambler's daily pay is 2k as a helper on the site,  so he has to work for 4 days to be able to meet that debt that is if he doesn't make any other expenses.

Question is:

What is the possibility of the betting agent getting his money soon/considering the gambler's low-income earnings?
They're both a fault but I'll blame the betting agent mostly for going against his employers policy and doing something that would make him lose his job, there's a saying that there's no friend in business, talk more of joking with a business that's not yours,  it's very wrong or would I say that's so foolish to him and he's lucky his employer was not aware of such a careless act, what I expected from the betting agent is for him to request for a collateral like depositing his valuable item before betting for free, but then he didn't do that neither did he ask for the address or details of the gambler nor ask for his field of occupation to know if he'll be capable of paying his debt, it's very wrong and his actions would had cost him his job.
The best thing I think they should do is to invlove higher authorities that's would make him sign an agreement concerning when he'll be able to clear his debt or bargain with the site manager to make sure he not the 2k daily pay he receives until the debt is cleared
4069  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever felt remorse after gambling? on: August 01, 2023, 08:47:35 PM
I saw this online and thought maybe i should bring on to bitcointalk for discussion.

If a person gamble and at the end of the game he starts to feel remorse is that a good thing or should the person be on alert?
We're  all humans and it's normal for we as humans to react when things are not going the right way or when we make terrible mistakes, even thought we react differently to things, remorse would always come at a point in every gamblers life, whether you're gambling for fun or for any other idea, let's say for instance you're a sports bettor and maybe your teams performance was poor and you decided to bet against them, then they win, definitely you'll feel very bad because you'll feel guilt of not trusting your team and also sad that you lost your bet which you placed against them.
Asides that gambling is a game of luck so you shouldn't be in a rush to place a bet, take your time and be sure there's of winning with the option you picked, also when you fail to carryout the risk management in gambling you'll always be likely to feel remorse, also spending recklessly as well can cause people to feel sad when they fail in gambling, avoid being greedy because it would always come with guilt and make you feel remorse when your bet turns bad.
4070  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: August 01, 2023, 08:28:59 PM
I haven't heard anything about Osimhen like he is planning to join Milan. Why would he think of doing so in the first place? There is no motivation for him to do it while he is playing for the last champion of the league. Napoli are likely to be a competitive team for the Serie A title regularly from now on. It just depends on establishing a good relationship with Rudi Garcia.

Besides Milan wouldn't even like to spend that much money on anyone. Osimhen's asking price would be around 150 million euros I guess. Milan don't make this kind of big transfers as they don't feel the need for it.

I think Osimhen would be signed by a top team in other big leagues in the future. But I don't feel like it will happen this summer.
Same here I don't think I've come across any news of such, though there might be rumours but they're false and oshimen is not likely to move to another Italian team even, he's very comfortable and happy at Napoli and ready for a challenge next season to defend their  trophy as title holders, even if there's a possibility that he would move out of Napoli i don't think it's this season maybe next or 2 years from now and it would either be to a top English team or to France.
Also, based on his contract Ac Milan won't want to sign him for a release clause of about £150m when they still have other areas of the squad to strengthen, according to the news it is said that they are in chase of two Argentina attackers and have had a meeting with the agent of a central striker from Rosario, Alejo Veliz and also are interested in his country man Lucas Beltran who scored about 23goals in 2023 appearance for his team River  Plate.
4071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: August 01, 2023, 08:02:29 PM

Al-Nassr coach Luís Castro has already noticed that the two attackers who are from Saudi Arabia, I mean Abdulrahman Ghareeb and Khalid Al-Ghannam, have not been performing very well, especially when it comes to assists, so ronaldo he does not score goals because the balls do not reach him in good condition, so with the entry of mane in the team that could change but it would not be the definitive solution because he would still remain an arabian player, either Khalid Al-Ghannam will stay or the Abdulrahman Ghareeb was in the starting 11 with talisca, ronaldo, mane and one side of the team would still be unbalanced

I see that Al-Nassr, in addition to mane, will need another striker, only in this way would they have a much stronger attack, now the question is who else can they bring, their opponents managed to make good signings and they were already strong, with that if became stronger, so Al-Nassr will have difficulties to win the league this season in my opinion, the question now and if after years mane will be able to play again in a big team in europe, that will be valid for all 30-year-old players who go to the arabic league

In general the introduction of more  top European would be very beneficial to the starting 11 of the Al-Nassr team and I feel we should be expecting alot from Cristiano Ronaldo because he's has several quality players from the flanks that would be able to assist, I think Luis Castro would also be happy to see his team performing better than the previous season, i feel they'll have a good competition next season left for me I'm vouching for them to win the trophy this season, because they've strengthen several squad depth with top quality players and more might likely join before the end of the window.

According to the news Sadio Mane has recently move from Bayern Munich to Al-Nassr for £30 and is said to have signed a contract and passed his medical with the team adding a player of such quality means more strength to the squad depth and I feel they're really ready for challenge for the trophy as tittle contenders, I'm expecting  a very good performance from the team and with the current squad they can cause a threat to any other contenders of their league.
4072  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: August 01, 2023, 07:35:20 PM
Is it true that Bayern Munich have an interest to bringin David de Gea, because the reality is that David de Gea is not a young player. But it seems, Bayern Munich also not too concerned about the age of their goalkeepers. Because after all, the three goalkeepers in the current Bayern Munich squad are also in fact old as 34 years and 37 years. So, if Bayern Munich sign David de Gea then David de Gea will be a goalkeeper with a younger age than them. So, if Bayern Munich is really going to sign David de Gea then I think it will probably be the right signing as well. Because anyway, it seems that David de Gea also has better experience if I compare it with the two current Bayern Munich goalkeepers Yann Sommer and Sven Ulreich what's more, Bayern Munich can sign David de Gea for free.
Bayern Munich has alot good goalie of almost the same age bracket in their team and I don't see why they're interested in adding another goalie in that same age bracket, though they might not be concerned about the age of their goalie but let's be realistic if they're going for another keeper if should be for a long term and not just another 34 years old goalie that they'll be selling in the next 2 or 3 years except maybe they'll let go of Yann Summer or Manuel Neuer to create a place for Degea.
Talking about space, even if they finally get him into the team I don't think he might be the preferred option for the number one goalie, though he's very talented but he'll need to fight for his place in the team because the two other options are as good as him at the goal post so being the 2nd choice goalie is on thing Degea might not find interesting because that was one of the reasons he left his previous club  Manchester United.
4073  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: August 01, 2023, 07:17:33 PM
I saw some video bad finishing by Rasmus Hojlund while with Atalanta. Actually as a striker 32 times played and 9 goals seems like a not very good statistic. But it looks like Ten Hag has another view. Perhaps his young age is enough to make Ten Hag confident that he can change the bad views of football observers. Many people also hope that Rasmus Hojlund can be Haaland's competitor and be the solution to the attacker's problems. At the moment Ten Hag has several options so Rashford probably won't be exhausted and injured a lot.

Erling Haaland can't be compared to Rasmus Hojlund, even when Haaland is at Hojlund's age he can score a lot of goals and has a good finishing. I believe that ETH is just gambling on Hojlund's transfer, because despite his young age, at least Manchester United will have a replacement for their striker. If later he will be officially introduced as a new Manchester United player, I can't wait to see how he performs in official PL matches.

Yes, after all, the player who can rival Haaland in this era may only be Mbappe but unfortunately, Mbappe does not play in the Premier League which certainly makes Haaland seem to have no serious competitors in the Premier League. Also, Hojlund is still very young and if the statistics obtained when Hojlund played at Atalanta are just like that, then I personally do not believe Hojlund will be able to play well at Manchester United. Because after all, basically Serie A and the Premier League are very different leagues in their style of play. So yes, playing in a very difficult league like the Premier League, then of course it will not be easy for young players who do not have a good winning mentality in competition.

Last season the main competition for Haaland was Harry Kane, but as far as I understand he will be playing in a different league next season... So probably Haaland will remain the top scorer in the EPL, because he scores twice as much as the others... I would like to see new strikers at other clubs, maybe then Man City will have a good opponent...
@3meek let's not be too quick to write off other strikers because different season comes with different form for and though Halland Is a fantastic player and there's no doubt that he's proven himself severally but let's not forget the fact that his performance last season might not be same as this upcoming season due to several factors like poor team form, injuries etc well only time will tell if there would no striker to challenge him for the golden boot this season
However several talented players are coming into England the likes of Rasmus Hojlund,  Christian Nkunku and several other that could suprisenly challenge him for that spot, let's not forget that Liverpool bought two strikers last season that didn't fully adapt to the squad and lost form in getting the goal but could recover their forms and challenge for the goldenboot as well, also I see everyone is talking about the arrival of Rasmus Hojlund and how well he might challenge Halland but i won't conclude yet until I watch him play and see if he'll adapt to his team first before concluding but one thing I know is that he's very talented and has lots of potential.
4074  Economy / Gambling / Re: Some poker terminologies you may want to know on: July 31, 2023, 11:24:06 PM
I don't know much about poker because am a lover of sports and more familiar with sports betting, but I find this very interesting because it would help enlighten forum members that would pick interest in the game and help them understand these several poker terminologies you've listed in case they come across it when play online or at various casinos, but I've heard from friends who's got interest in it that your luck in poker depends on the kind of card you get, if you're very skillfully and get good cards then you stand a chance of winning the game.
I feel it applies to all gambling events including sports betting in which I focus more concentration on, if you might have very good strategies at selecting several odds that have high chances of being successful but would still require luck to win some of the games, like in cases where a team is required to score 2 goals before 90mins of the game and they score the second goal at 89 mins, that's referred to as luck
4075  Economy / Gambling / Re: Loophole in stopping Money Laundering through Wagering on: July 31, 2023, 11:03:58 PM
As we know that most gambling sites will require you to gamble and wager your whole balance once, before you can cash out or withdraw from the gambling site and they take this measure so people do not do money laundering whereby deposit and withdraw without gambling.

Now the point here is that on the gambling site, there are many easy winning bets with odds like 1.01x etc. If the money lauder is sensible he can easily be wagering the whole amount by placing a few bets where the odds are very low and the winning chances are 99%.

So does this mean that there is a loophole here and the money launderers can easily by pass this wagering requirement?
The wagering requirements and Kyc procedures are different means that gambling platforms use to ensure safe betting against money laundering, the thing is that @noormcs5 there is no high percent successful strategy as such and it would come as a surprise for you to know that odds like that might even end up being more difficult to win than the ones you feel are risky, I've come across a game in sports betting where a team with a good success rate and has a lower of 1.05 lost against a team with a high and risky odd of about 5.08, though sometimes the lower odds stand a good chance of winning but the success rate from it is not very sure thats why experts says gambling is a game of luck and skills, no matter how skillfull you're sometimes you need luck to win a bet.
Moreover this money lauderers know that the risk behind putting their money on gambling platforms and won't want to pass through the stress of these wagering requirements or kyc processes before withdrawal, they know chance of losing their stolen money is high and would seek other alternatives instead of going through those stressful processes

Most of the time on which people would really be realizing things on the time that they are already experiencing hardships or unfortunate events on which this would really be that so common if we do speak about

gambling effects specially if you had already spend up tons and losing lots of money and the worst, you get addicted to it. On the time that you do still have money, then you wont really be bothering yourself on
stopping midway because you do still have that kind of hope that you would be able to make profits or winning along the way on which this is a common approach by most gamblers on which they would really be that mindful about those probabilities and doesnt mind about the consequences in terms of probabilities on losing the next bet.

If you are already that spending on the amount on which you cant afford to lose or already that spending those emergency funds of yours then you are really that putting yourself
into great trouble later on.
Sometimes those effects like hardships or some unfortunate events doesn't help gamblers to change from their addictions because I've come across cases where some persons become poor due to adverse gambling habits but still decide to take loans from bank or borrow from friends and still gamble not minding the fact that they're in debt, that's how bad the effect from gambling addiction can be on people, persons like this need serious help in some cases, regular visit to a therapist that would be them change gradually.
Knowing when to quit when you've suffered numerous loss if one of the ways gambling responsibly because it won't only help prevent addiction but would also one from spending recklessly, while some people people fall victims of gambling addiction is that they don't know when to pause for a while when they suffer loss having a believe that their next bet would become successful, some people would even come up with wrong slogans that those people that pause or give up are those who lose

Hello Casino Bitcointalk Community,

I am going to concentrate to write what my thoughts are and use help where necesarry and also to not let it look as if it is just an advertisement from my side. It´s broader.

First of all, this comes from me but also read it in general. I wrote this recently:

People without enough knowledge abouy cryptos het to hear, day in day out, CRYPTOS ARE BAD. Like drugs.
But many people do not buy that BS anymore.

So why don´t we see, at least alternative media, with an other type of advertisement and inform the public about crypto.
Crypto is freedom, no?
Well, that people are all screaming for freedom. And don´t know sjit about cryptos.

I find this very interesting but I think the creation of this thread  alone is enough so as not to attract suspicions that's could lead to a ban on your account, I think you did a great job by creating awareness on how to educate people about crypto and how to go about it, because constant information would help enlighten them to understand about crypto and desist from the wrong ideas they have about it, there are some gamblers that's are yet to know that there are crypto casino and that crypto can be used in gambling on different platforms apart from their various fiat currencies.
Also the creation of banners and posters would help those that reside in rural area, especially areas that are not yet exposed to modern technologies. I belive this movement would create an awareness that something of such exist and might also motivate them to want to learn about it and discover the benefits of partaking in cryptocurrency investments.
4078  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Success or Fail? - Talking about Gambling as a major income on: July 31, 2023, 09:25:37 PM
People never understand how the casino system works so don't ever make casinos a source of income, what you are saying is true that if everyone could get consistent income, of course people would not work and would rather gamble, after all, that mindset usually only exist for beginners where they always believe that the casino can be a source of income for them.

This is what I always say to all my friends who are still active as gamblers, I always tell them that there is not the slightest chance for them to be able to earn consistently in gambling and even as a source of income, obviously this is a very wrong assumption. Everyone knows that they will be able to get big wins there, but the question is, can you make those wins always come to you by relying only on luck? the answer is no. I will agree to say that gambling can be made as the main income if the person is the dealer.

I'm sure it takes time for people like that to convince themselves that casinos are not a source of income, at least seeing they really feel down and experience successive losses so they no longer think of casinos as a source of income, it's hard to convince beginners about that wrong mindset. , the only way to make them aware is the harsh reality that they will feel for themselves after playing gambling. gamble wisely and make gambling games just for fun, that's the most correct

Greed and emotions have taken over them making it difficult for them to have the right mindset. Winning is a very fun thing, and most people are stuck there, their minds are always focused on a win without them realizing that they will succeed in getting a victory at the cost of several defeats, that's the same thing. To be honest, I always tell someone who has just won at gambling that it is just a lure  so they do it over and over again with the hope of the same win, hoping that the win will come back. It's true as you say that someone must feel something significant there, like for example getting a big loss to make them feel very down.

Experts have made it clear that gambling shouldn't be considered as a major source of income and that people should always gamble with their spare money. But some people would still give deaf ears to their advise and still want to take chances with something that winning is not 100% guaranteed these set of people know the risk behind it but have made up their mind to either fail or succeed  from it, the most annoying set of people are those that made huge money from it and try to double the money they just made and end up losing everything, I call them annoying because they got carried away by their winning and out of greed desired for more which made them lose totally.
No matter how skillful you're in gambling someone you require luck for you to win some particular games and if you're lucky to win, you should know when to pause or quit for the day either save or money or invest in another profitable business other than using it to gamble again because luck might not shine on you the second time, greed is one of the things that's made many gamblers unsuccessful, they might have been advised severally but some choose to learn the hard way.

It's obviously true that getting referrals these days isn't an easy job, those were different times when you would get referrals only by making a post with your referral link in a public group or a chatroom or something, because back then, less people were already registered at certain platforms so they used to sign up under you, but now a days, almost every single person knows and is already a member of almost every single platform you are using.

Also, before, people wouldn't want you to sit and explain every single thing to them in personal and then they would sign up, but nowadays, they would simply ignore your invites if you don't spend about 30 minutes explaining every single thing to them, and once you do that, then they will sign up.
The introduction of technology into gambling through the creation of online gambling platforms have made it possible for lots of people to join various gambling platforms and therefore it has hindered the ability for individuals invite new members through the referral links especially on social media and other related media platforms, however asides from the referrals means of getting new customers most online casinos have come up with several other strategies to attract customers and keep most of them to continue using their platforms for instance the huge welcome bonus that some platforms advertise on various social media platforms to attract new customers and also the cashback where bettors stand a chance of claiming some percentage of their lost bets.  All these are strategies they use in attracting customers and keep them to continue patronizing their platforms, that's to tell you that even though the referrals link process might seem tough lately gambling platform owners would still have other alternatives to keep their bonus going and offer other bonuses that are customer friendly.

I don't really see the point of this thread to be frank since op already abandoned it pretty quickly after talking about posting his bets regularly. He stated some silly stuff about no bet being a waste bet which makes zero sense.

Some bets are useless for various reasons and anyone with a half-decent brain knows that much.
Yeah, in short term he had stopped posting bets. Only thing I liked is the suggestion to spend little on the odds, so that it won't hurt even if the bet gets lost. No bet is a waste and this can be understood on different perspective. As a funny note this well suits with the gambling house rather than the gambler, because the house have its edge unlike the win/loss of the bet.
Well, Yeah, i agree with you, the phrase, "No bet is a waste" can be understood to be true or false, all depends on the perspective one choose to look at it from, for some people, they can believe that their bet was not a waste even after losing the bet/money, probably maybe because they learnt some thing through that which they knew not before.
But for the majority, it is hard for them to believe that their bet did not waste if they lose it, because one thing with gambling is that what ever money lost is never coming back, its gone, its gone.

Gambling casinos are the ones who can truly say that no bet is a waste for them since every bet is a potential win for them, because due to the settings of casinos, it is already widely known and accepted they will always win in the long run.
I agree with you @ Fivestar4everMVP and yes the rightful people that can say no bet is are the gambling platform owners because they stand more chance of winning every bet and they're more informed and have more possible strategies of ensuring that they keep their business going without going bankrupt, that's why these bookies come up with different strategies to attract more customers with huge bonuses that would convince them to sign up with their platform because they know they stand more chance of gaining than the bettors
Another set of people I feel doesn't see any bet as a waste but a potential win are those punters that's more experience in gambling and also have good strategies in making huge profits with little losses, most of these punters are so experienced that you'll feel they're born lucky cause they have possible ways of recovering their loss even when they make huge losses, and they believe every risk they take is a potential win for them.
