I spent some time reading all above posts and I think you already have the answers for what you seek. What botheres me is how come that you do not know all about these stuffs? You've been here over a year ago but you seem like a new member here. You don't even know how to use "search" function.
Sorry about this but by reading your thread, the answers are pretty obvious. This thread doesn't really fit in this section as well actually.

Seeing that KYC form doesn't made me feel anything violent that day, actually it wasn't funny or exciting at all. I haven't touched it as well. I already knew that it was a prank What made my April fool complete is when I saw people having fun posting images in Meta with a "Verified" text in their profile. That's the time I felt excited and been willing to have one too. Sadly, I'm not expecting that my title will be that bad. But it's not totally bad at all. I also thought that it will be permanent but it wasn't.

Plagiarism is plagiarism no matter it is intended for financials or not and anyone who plagiarised will receive its consequences. Your plagiarised post must be old cause it's posted back in 2015 but the Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ was posted a year earlier that's why you still committed a violation as it is stated in the rules and regulations of the forum. Looking at your recent posts, I understand that some of your posts are intended for business but seems like you're now posting spam posts compared to your older posts. What if you were banned for spamming or something like that? Not because of plagiarism. Sorry buddy but seems like this is the end of the line.

I think it's too soon to discuss such topic. Who knows? Some of us won't make it to 2020 Anyway, I don't like to be a party pooper. I will still provide some list of what's inside my mind right now. - Everyone will not be able to post. - "404 not found" will show up in our browser when visiting Bitcointalk. - Everyone will be freely to tag anyone like a DT1 (but will be back to normal after April 1st and tags will dissappear - this is a bad idea if someone scammed you in April fool and then you tag him/her, it will dissappear) also a boring idea for those who are already DT1. - Letters from the word "Bitcointalk" will not show in any posts. - Everyone will be Hero/Legendary randomly but Signatures, Avatars, Bounties and Campaigns as well will be disabled (too bad for those who reached the rank already). Hmmm what else?

We can't tell the real reason why some members waste their Merits in campaigns. But I guess some reason is because... It's bitcointalk's version of digital ass-licking.
Or because they just wanted to spent Merits, obviously. It’s not a waste of sMerit its just a show of support i think.
Actually it is still a waste of Merits I guess. Giving Merits to campaign threads than to give them to quality posters is a huge lose for those who deserve to receive Merits. About the "support" you were talking about, we can show our support by doing different things and without giving Merit to a campaign thread, actually what kind of support can you provide by giving up some merits in such threads? Will it make the project successful? Will it hook some customers? the answer is No isn't? Because the only one who will get benefit is the campaign manager or the one who created the campaign thread. I can somehow say that giving one Merit ONLY is acceptable but giving more than one like two or fifty is unacceptable. Just my thought anyway, besides we can't actually do anything to stop those people.

Hello, OP! I'm #90 in the Google Spreadsheet may I know if I am already accepted to participate in the next week campaign? Thanks. That is way too hard to tell. I'm not the OP but I would like to share my opinion. I think the only chance for you to be able to join next week's campaign is if someone else get kicked out of the campaign or if someone else decided to leave the campaign. But who knows if the campaign manager decided to add some more participants.

Buti na lang hindi ako nag lagay ng ilang mga detalye sa KYC link sa taas.
It's just fine to put your real information in the form above because it's not going to be saved anyway. So it is still safe for those who has been fooled. I am wondering how many people will actually fill in the form with their real information not even thinking It's fine, the data is only locally submitted: Those people who filled up the form has been franked by April fool, but those people who believed that the KYC form is real are fooled as well.

Boy. At least you realized immediately. Take a look at those who actually posted legitimate photos of themselves and they probably haven't realized yet that it's an April fools joke. Imagine having public KYC LOL.
It's probably because of these reasons.. - they haven't experienced April fool yet here in the forum as most of them are newbies/new to the forum -they are afraid to lose their account (specially to spammers) -their religion or whatever does not celebrate April fool -they are slow, they didn't get it immediately -they've been fooled by theymos Anyway, I'm not quite happy with my Verified sucker valuable user. Seems like its been forced to be "valuable user". Also curious of the basis of these Verified stuffs or they are just randomly generated.

Even though we don't know the main reason why that guy sent you merits, it's still a relief to know that those 50 Merits (25 sMerits) has been handed in good hands. Members like that guy (who gave you merits) are those members who still don't find the importance of Merits since they already reached the maximum rank. You better find good posters and distribute your sMerits than to let it burn someday.

if it's hard to find with the criteria, why not give a chance to Full Member rank Try to wear Sr. member's signature first

All posts above are correct and will surely give you the information you were looking for. But, let me tell you this one fact I have in mind, reporting is a serious matter and not a forum function for children to play. Reporting a fellow spammer is somehow a "good" thing but is "ridiculous" . You get what I said isn't? Because by just looking at your recent posts, it makes me want to get back on reporting spammers again after these past months of inactivity.
I'm not discouraging you, instead I'm giving you motivation. All I'm saying is, while reporting spammers, you should as well improve your own posts or else someday, another spammer will just report you as well (or some of your posts are already been reported).

Can we use gifs as avatars? I see some people have them but when I tried it, it won't work. Does it require a certain rank?
Using animated avatars has been disabled by theymos again. You can find discussions in Meta talking about this topic, like this thread.

Practical answer is your BTC adress has to start with 3 or bc1 to be accepted in the campaign. But then again registration are closed, again.
Bitcoin Address that starts with "3" are not always segwit address as far as I know. I don't know much about segwit address but my memory still serves me right about some informations. Just like my Bitcoin address (in my profile) it starts with 3 but it's not a segwit address (or it is?). Anyway it's so cool that this campaign is still a competitive one. I still remember that I used to be one of those options
