The "Beam Node Sync chart" and "Output Chart" at the end of https://explorer.beamprivacy.community really demonstrate Mimblewimble advantage.
Fast sync (with cut-through) is about 23% the size of full sync.

I have recently set up a new video blog channel to provide miner help and support for the new mimblewimble coin, Beam.
I am proud to be part of the Beam Team and can be found as community support and management in the Beam discord and telegram channels.

Since I did not receive a reply to my previous application[1] for the coinjoin bounty, which I submitted half a year ago, with the exception of Pieter Wuille, who to my knowledge did not succeed to discuss this with the rest of the keyholders, I will consider this as a rejection. So in this post I would like to report a status update and ask you to reconsider the application with the new developments to Wasabi Wallet[2,9] in mind.

- Half a year ago Wasabi created 110 BTC equal coinjoin outputs in total[1], today this number is 22941 BTC.[2]
- Wasabi now does P2P communication over Tor, too.[3]
- Wasabi now broadcasts transactions over Tor to a peer. Previously transaction broadcasting happened to the backend over Tor.[3]
- Wasabi now provides .dmg[4] and .deb[5] packages.
- Wasabi now mixes on the changes, resulting in more efficient mixes.[6]
- Wasabi now partially integrates full nodes: If a full node is running in the background, block fetching happens from it by default instead of connected peers.[5]
- Wasabi now comes with a daemon that can be used for mixing.[7]
- Wasabi have deterministic builds.[8]

Thank you for considering my reapplication!
Cheers, nopara73

I created an updated video mining guide for Beam.

This is more in-depth than my initial how to mine beam video, I illustrate how to mine beam w/ Nvidia & AMD GPUs on Linux (smOS) and Windows
I cover basic overclocking information, beam network hashrate, and the best beam mining pool in my experience.

I also include all of the needed configs to simply copy and paste in the video description, or with Windows I have configs that are downloadable -- you will simply swap my beam address with yours and be mining beam to your wallet in seconds after download. Hope this helps someone!

Great guide.

Created a video guide on how beam block rewards total ~$200,000 daily, what exactly is the Beam privacy coin, and what is Mimblewimble?
For anyone interested!

I also created a write-up on Beam Block Rewards, Funding, and Emission Schedule - http://voskco.in/BeamBlock

Great!

State of the Miners

The current network Hash Rate as of Block 48639 sits at 4,437,469 Sol/s after reaching a peak of around 6 million Sol/s. With hash rate increasing steadily from mainnet launch, you are probably wondering which miners to use with which cards.
Currently the go to miner for Nvidia cards is the Gminer v1.31, and for AMD cards the lolMiner 0.7 alpha 4.

Gminer v1.31
Palit GTX 1060 Super JetStream 3GB:                                      ~11 Sol/s
Palit GTX 1060 JetStream 6GB:                                                ~13 Sol/s
Palit GTX 1070 Ti JetStream 8GB:                                            ~23 Sol/s
MSI GTX 1080 SEA HAWK EK X 8GB:                                       ~24 Sol/s
Gigabyte 1080 Ti AORUS Waterforce WB Xtreme Edition 11GB:  ~33 Sol/s
MSI RTX 2070 Armor 8GB:                                                      ~23 Sol/s
MSI RTX 2080 DUKE 8GB:                                                       ~30 Sol/s

lolMiner 0.7 alpha 4
Sapphire Pulse Radeon 580 4G:                                               ~12.5 sol/s
PowerColor Radeon RX Vega 56 Red Dragon:                            ~19 sol/s
Gigabyte RTX 2060 Windforce:                                                ~20 sol/s
unspecific cards:
RX 560 4G:                                                                           ~6 sol/s

53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Stegos: Like MimbleWimble but with PoS on: February 03, 2019, 12:38:54 AM
... Unfortunately, MimbleWimble (Grin and Beam) only partially support untraceability by removing transaction boundaries when composing and sealing a block. It’s still possible to implant a node on the MimbleWimble network and record all transactions related to a block, thus enabling adversaries to track funds and taint coins. ...
Not true for Beam.

Note: There is no problem discussing Beam's Founders' Reward, but using it to promote some Grin's fork is not acceptable.
