Most likely a typo, replace "is" with "should be"
If this is the case , then the price is too high for what he is offering. Waiting for OP for the exact mean. We're working with CryptoKube ( http://www.spondoolies-tech.com/blogs/news/16358716-cryptokube), but the price they quoted doesn't include SP35. You can contact them for a packaged deal.

Well, now that we published the link, you can "cheat" and buy direct, as long as the GB run. It's unfair towards RoadStress.
Also, it's both disappointing, having sent my reservation fee, and unprofessional... We do expect future participants to pay the reservation fee. From past experience, once the link was up, there were some people that didn't. RoadStress selected small, but meaningful reservation fee, a bit more than half percent, on purpose. Thanks for clarifying. The way it was written sounded like you were accepting orders and would not confirm the reservation fee had been paid. Looking forward to finally getting my hands on some Spondoolies gear. Happy holidays! Happy Holidays

Wait, how do you get credit for your reservation fee?
you don't... the reservation fee doesn't apply to purchase price. its just that, a reservation to be able to purchase at a certain price point Well that's lame. OP should probably update the first post then, as the cost of the miner is not $500 and you cannot get two SP20's for $1000 Well, now that we published the link, you can "cheat" and buy direct, as long as the GB run. It's unfair towards RoadStress. Cant you just cross check orders made thru the GB link with a list from RoadStrees who reserved and paid the fee? RoadStress deserves the fee small fee for setting this up, not to mention 60% will be donated. We can, but we prefer to ask people nicely not to do it. RoadStress definitely deserve the fees.

Sigh... I really want to, but I just can't. Even with the low prices it just doesn't make sense. Curse my expensive power. But there is nothing available right now with a better power consumption. And nothing with a lower price. You just can't get anything better than this. Well, the S5 does actually have better efficiency (if they hit their 0.51J/GH at the wall spec) unless you downclock the unit to ~1TH/s, at which point it's more expensive per GH/s than the S5. I won't get into that debate here though, as I actually do like the SP20 more. I can only mine profitably at the current price of BTC until about 90B difficulty though, and I really have to massage the numbers to come up with a scenario where difficulty doesn't at least double before I pay off even a $500 (and $7 ) purchase price. I do want to get into it here. Beside the obvious which is proven working design, you'll get the SP20 7-10 days before the S5. Do the math. I also never said you'd get the S5 before the SP20, or that the S5 would be more profitable. Both those have too many factors to state absolutely. While I haven't actually attempted the math for a couple different difficulty curves, I would imagine running the SP20 full out now and downclocking it in response to difficulty would make it decently more profitable than the S5 almost all the time. That doesn't change the fact that the spec of S5 is more efficient than the SP20, unless you underclock the SP20 to below the hashrate of the S5. I even gave you the caveat that they have to meet their spec for that to happen. Fair enough.

A sentence that it isn't a deposit probably would have been appropriate, especially given the advertisement that the cost of two units is $1000. It's very similar to RoadStress previous two GB. Anyway, I don't know how he could have made it more clear: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=903286.msg9925806#msg9925806

So now that the product page has been posted, when is payment deadline? Because I didn't think this would be posted until the 28th. I'm not at home with access to my BTC wallet until after Christmas.
No problem. The sooner you'll pay, the sooner we'll ship.

You don't. 60% will be donated, 40% will go to RoadStress as payment for organizing.

I think that we got some very interesting threads. The uninteresting slowly sunk. I wish MrTeal will unlock his thread.
I think that it turns out very nicely, and it's clearly not "spam".
well, in reality, this thread was started by one of your biggest haters. It just goes to show how truly 'impartial' that dogie (et al) is, when joining in with this type of hate-campaign. dogie and his 'manufacturers trustworthyness guide' what a crock of shit. dogie, lock all your threads, by the standards you have set out in this thread, they are all spam. I wanted to add that it seems that now innocent posts I am making are being reported and deleted. It's ludicrous but it won't deter me.

Does Spondoolies accept credit card eg. Visa as payment? Also, do I need to be legendary - or else I can't qualify?
Currently, only wire transfer or Bitcoins via BitPay. Anyone can participate. The GB is run by the legendary RoadStress, hence the name.

Yeah, it's getting hotter. But I can live with that.
Can you show the full ASIC page and the wall watt meter? Yup, I would like to see the ASIC stats as well.

How did you go from 427 watts @ .625 volts to 321 watts @ .6 volts???
I just changed the volts on the settings page. I set the fan to 20% and rebooted it. It's now only consuming 309 watts at 0.6 volts hashing 752.7 GH/s. 0.41052212 watts / GH/s. Let me take a picture of my current setup. I will keep it at 20% during the night, as the miner is near the bedroom. I liked the Veggie Cart.

My engineer put the SP20 through a tough quality test. In the end he seemed happy.
