Let us know what you want to see in Spondoolies-Tech's firmware… We are open to suggestions! What do you want to see implemented in our next firmware releases? We want to hear from you, although we cannot make any promises to implement any suggestion, we will try out best to make it work. Post suggestions here in the thread… *We will try our best*

... 2. what will happen if i add a second fan in front of the built in one without removing it? ...
It won’t cause any damage but it's not suppose to improve the cooling by much.

Much better than 0.2 J/GH, at a considerable lower $/GH/s compare to ... due to a much higher GH/s/mm^2 (silicon density).
That sounds like you've abandoned the 28nm design and are focusing on the 16nm ones. Is that the case? No, it's 28nm design.

... With no recent info about Spondoolies new ASIC, it's best to assume they're going going to be behind in reaching ~0.2J/Gh. ...
Much better at a considerable lower cost, thank you. I'm not sure what that's supposed to mean. Could you expand on that? Much better than 0.2 J/GH, at a considerable lower $/GH/s compare to ... due to a much higher GH/s/mm^2 (silicon density).

AND WE HAVE A WINNER!!!SP20winner got the last block I'll update this post later (I'm doing a payout) but yep it's been won! Congratulations to the winner. We'll contact him/her by email and send the SP20.

Would you have Bitmain and Spondoolies comment on this confirming you purchased a large amount of hashing power from them?
That's not a problem at all, The more confirmation we can get the better! Order # ?

one pin is broke!! but I think it is not the main cause
I would say that's very likely the main cause. While I can't comment with certainty without knowing more details on the cables and the pin arrangement, if you have a wire break on the circular connector the unit is then going to be trying to pull all the current through two (or one) pin on the Molex end. That's a surefire recipe for a burned cable. Indeed, this was the cause. See attached 2 images of 2 separate cables of the discussed PSU. In both cases, one of the GND wires was not connected to the connector. This caused over load situation on the remaining GND wires which led to melt down. Please use quality 16AWG cables, 30cm long maximum.

...Spondoolies-Tech will be supplying and shipping a 1.7TH/s SP20 (without a PSU, as shown in the image above) to the winner of the following competition:...
Confirmed.

What kind of PSU are you using ? this error is very like one those when cables are not plugged in properly but if you have check that out already then its weird
I've tried 3 different PSU's so far, all 1200W+ Gold and all work fine on my other mining equipment. Even the SD recovery isn't happening......it ain't looking good eh? SP-Tech, what's the loop to board mapping and are the two down loops on one board? Loops 0 and 1 are on the right board and loops 2 and 3 are on the left.

... That about sums it up! Overall extremely impressed!
Thank you for the intresting review.

hey guys, planing to buy sp35, curently 5x ant s4. i cant find any reviews for them, can anyone say few words... can i overclock the sp35? are they stable? if i overclock how much power compsubtion will they need. the miners are ok, but i will not buy more of them. how are they compared to ant s5? thanks
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=521520.msg10080091#msg10080091What does it pull from the wall running at 6thash? What are the PSU's rated for? The PSUs are rated 1600 Watt (output, not "at the wall"). I don't know the pull from the wall in this case, it wasn't done by us. Should be considerably above 3.65 KW Isn't that pushing the PSU's a little hard? I'm surprised you don't do internal testing on your own before the product goes to market. The PSUs have over current limitations. The PSU working point is approved by the manufacturer. The amount of PSUs RMAs is negligible. We do internal testing, thoroughly, as you very well aware. We don't retest over clocking on every ASICs batch.

I'll have 1 or 2 SP10's for sale pretty soon. They have been running rock solid since first turned on and both kept in a data center. Co-location costs are now costing more to keep them there, so I will have no choice but to unplug them. I believe at the current numbers each one brings in approx $150/month. They both are still at the data center, and I'm trying to find out what arrangements they have on shipping them back to me. Like if there is a cost. I remember you could run a rig for well over a year, but these have been running for only several months. And I can't run them at home. The piece and quiet is worth more then $150/monthly. If interested just shoot me a PM. Thanks.
If you'll sell the SP10s, you won't have more SPT equipment. It will take the fun out of your weekends. I'll suggest you'll buy some SP20 so you'll be able to continue.
