After two years in the making, I'm happy to announce that we completed the development of a very efficient SAT solver for SHA256.
On Intel D54250WYK NUC with 16 GB of RAM, we're getting about 100 TH/s.

With great power comes great responsibility.

In order to protect the Bitcoin ecosystem, we'll sell each month only 1,000 SAT10 units.
The initial cost will be $5,000 per unit. We'll sell up to two units per customer each month.

Each SAT10 unit will contain the following:

- Intel D54250WYK NUC
- 16 GB Kingston SODIMM
- 1TB WD Magnetic 2.5" HDD (we'll provide SSD upgrade option)
- Intel Dual Band Wireless-N 7260 card
- Spondoolies's Propriety mini PCI Express card
- Pre-configured Ubuntu 14.04 with cgminer, running as full node

The mini PCI Express card contains proprietary essentials close elements of the SAT Solver.

We did a large scale testing of our initial batch last week but beside testing and development, we don't intend to run our own farm.

If you're interested to participate in a draw to buy the first batch (shipping immediately from stock), please fill the following form:
http://www.spondoolies-tech.com/pages/sat10-draw

Thanks,
Guy

Last week testing can be seen here:

We used a sliding window of 300 SAT10 every few hours.

We'll upgrade next month batch to Intel NUC NUC5i5RYH model. The CPU in the NUC NUC5i5RYH is 5th generation Intel® Core™ i5-5250U processor (a Broadwell micro-architecture, 14 nm)

We'll pre-load the machine with Popcorn time for Linux (64 bit), so the SAT10 may be used as a very capable HTPC while triple functioning as full node and capable miner.

We'll sell an optional SSD upgrade and an optional AirMouse

We're testing various Steam games for Linux to see if it will make sense to sell an optional Gamepad as well.

Guy
And of course, a fifth usage (beside Miner, Full node, HTPC and Games Console) will be for video conference, with an optional webcam

The draw registration for this month batch will be closed in few hours: http://www.spondoolies-tech.com/pages/sat10-draw

Do you only get 50 TH/s with 8GB or RAM?   Smiley
No. The SAT Solver RAM requirement is exponential.

Assuming this is accurate, the J/GH must be minuscule (Say, less than .01 Watts/Ghash). Furthermore, assuming you deliver 1000 units/MONTH, that's roughly 100 Petahash/MONTH?
Yes

Thanks, I suppose I need to get in touch with someone then.  I have another rig that I cannot connect to at all.  I know I have the correct IP address on it but it will not let me communicate with it.  It just says the server will not let me connect to it.

Any suggestions on that one?
I'd try using a serial cable first, but you probably don't have one. Chances are high that the internal MMC has gotten corrupted or gone bad. Try a SD boot disk (or possibly a SD recovery). http://www.spondoolies-tech.com/blogs/technical-blog/13098521-sp10-sp2x-sp3x-recovery-sd-card-boot-sd-card-creation-instructions

If I had a serial cable, what are you suggesting I do with it.  Also, all of my computers are Mac's with Windows 7 via Parallel's installed in my Mac's.  If I need to go to buy a laptop to do what you suggest with a serial cable, I'll do it.  First, I need to know what I would do with the serial cable?

Confirmed.

hello marto from technobit i have a question, i orderd a vew dice miners on your website 4 in total but in 3 different orders. the first was on time but the second and third are still not sended?!? on my account it say "preperation in progress" can please explain what is happening en send my miners to me. thanks in advance greets kiroy.

I'm pretty sure Martin has more or less ignored this post. You might want to do that in the Technobit thread where is trying to steer his way around Bulgarian authorities and keep his dissatisfied customers to use PM and Email so as he doesn't have to have more dirt aired in public. Guy is never going to learn until authorities put his ass in jail.
Will appreciate "The guy" instead of "Guy"

MinerEdge rack mounted system based on RockerBox pictures can be found here http://imgur.com/a/5g0cq

Nathan provided the following info:

Water cooled.  One long heatsink resides below the 4 modules. Making for easy replacement of modules.

Efficiency, Not quite as good as some of the best numbers we have seen on the SP20 but we have more tweaking to do.  Our next rev board (in case Serial power doesn’t work) will have some more power improvements.  We hope to gain an additional 4% DC-DC efficiency at max current.

.69w/GHs @ 6THs
.57w/GHs @ 5THs
.51w/GHs @ 4THs
Measured at wall @ 240v

Management traffic goes out the RJ45 jacks on the front.
We will be integrating the board level management data with the ASIC data shortly.  This will allow us to power 24 cards(6 chassis) off of one management card.

This system is basically equivalent to 4 SP20 systems in one 1U tray.

weeks, not days...

i opened my SP30, vacuum wouldnt budge the gunk, too tacky - high humidity.

toothbrush sorted em right out. still no hashing though >frowny face<

bit of a mission to get to the bottom board but why not eh.

has anyone discussed the 'reset button' on the MMC board anywhere?

Most who I have heard of use a recovery SD.   Would be interesting on reset button, not sure what you will get there.

recovery SD is step 1

If MMC board is faulty, boot SD is required

If recovery & boot fail then the board needs replacing as explained by Guy recently (ish)

i just received shipping notification of the ribbons & the SP30 MMC board, no mention of SP20E board...

>500 hours downtime for SP20E & SP30... over 21 days of stalled communications with @support.

Hi Edgar,

I reviewed your ticket and there is no mention of requiring a new board for the SP20E.
Please work with support@ for your issues as that is the only official support channel.

Thanks,

Gadi

Anyone know how to install no-ip (or some other free ddns service) on a SPxx for remote administration?
Don't you need to set NoIP on your router and do some port forwarding from there to you SPxx? I recently setup my home web-server (not on port 80) with no-ip and all I had to do was add a game / application on the router and ensure that the server was running on a static IP (or set the always use this IP if DHCP on router ... though may cause conflicts). I also turned off upnp.

The problem is that my router doesn't support no-ip..

Then you'll need to install the No-IP app either on a PC that you keep on all the time you want access to your SPxx or on the SPxx itself (not sure whether they have one, but you can always look on the web for 3rd party solutions, even code!). If you go the former route, aka the official app, then NoIP have a very good starter guide which should make the process trivial.

That's what I'm looking for, to install no-ip on the SPxx itself. It would be an easy task on a linux distro like ubuntu or debian, but not sure how to do it on this embedded linux SPT uses..
build instructions - no support.

CanaryInTheMine has previously come under fire for misusing his level 1 DefaultTrust position by adding users into his trust list in return for leaving him positive trust. This further increased Canary's own trust score and power, as well as the addition of many accounts added inappropriately to DefaultTrust. This included newbies, those abusing their level 2 trust and others running questionable operations. He has refused to chance his practises and is further now abusing that self given power at the detriment of the forums.

When you put some numbers on the trust network, its pretty shocking case of abuse and centralisation of influence.

There are currently 417 accounts in DefaultTrust lists, of which 211 (53%) are from Canary.
181 (100%) of people who left Canary 'trusted' trust are in DefaultTrust because Canary added them to it
(+ some overlapers).

What is more, he has started abusing his inappropriately self appointed power. He has ~trusted several accounts, including me, aggressively in order to inappropriately shield his own interests. CITM is heavily involved with ASICMiner.

AirWolf - because he put a bounty on information regarding ASICMiner (to regain his investment)
Silverspoon - because he was critical of ASICMiner
SpanishSoldier - because he was critical of ASICMiner
NotLambchop - because he was critical of ASICMiner (although he is a bit hash)

And... me. CITM has refused to respond as to why he has ~'ed me and does not respond to PMs. Its one thing to buff his own ratings, but he is now directly inhibiting the very reason for default trust's existence for his own personal gain. There are currently 10 phising accounts, scam accounts or PM spammers that I am the only trust rating for, which are now unmarked.

Canary should either be forced to alter his negative practises or face removal from DefaultTrust.

An Israeli classic. The meaning is clear I believe, even if you don't understand Hebrew:
