It should be progressive (want to change) "versus" conservative (resistant to change), but I don't know why the progressive side wants to move to socialism -> communism. It could be because of education, where children are brainwashed to think Marxism is a good idea.

Progressive should think differently, create a better brand new system, and not just think that Marxism is superior.
Sez who? You? Take out the "should" and just note that progressive is just marxist relabeled.

The woke snowflakes continue with their stupidity. The word "gullible" is to be removed from the Oxford English Dictionary because the editors deem that it is offensive...

Next you'll be trying to convince us that Gullible Travels.

I'm seeing never before experienced levels of elements of the culture stifling free expression, deleted parts of news on a daily basis, doing their to best to push select narratives instead of discuss various interpretations. I'm seeing quite a few oddities.

You're just repeating what Trump said verbatim. I'm not convinced you actually hold opinions of your own.
Oh, did he notice the same things? Funny about that... seems like a lot of people have. 74 million or so.

RE "repeating" this started back around 2010. You didn't notice?

It grew worse and worse, and the narratives moved further and further. You don't know 2010, I take it? That was when "Open Borders" was a small concept pushed by a bit of the Center for American Progress. One website, Soros-funded. Archive.org will help you.

That was when universities started to persecute men for supposed rape and assault, without any due process. Based on a memorandum on Title 9, right?

Full Crazy took a while to come together, but now you've got it, you are a part of it, and it's made you a slave.

It would be a mistake to think that Trump started this and people just repeat it. On issue after issue, we can trace the origins of the concept in radical left being pushed into the mainstream. Trump was a reaction to this.

As noted previously, 40% of democrats think the recent election was rigged. But those on this forum push a narrative that there was no wrong. Nobody's going to fall for that, so why not just quit wasting your time on it?

Texas Sues Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin at Supreme Court over Election Rules
https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2020/12/07/texas-sues-georgia-michigan-pennsylvania-and-wisconsin-at-supreme-court-election-rules/

Certain officials in the Defendant States presented the pandemic as the justification for ignoring state laws regarding absentee and mail-in voting. The Defendant States flooded their citizenry with tens of millions of ballot applications and ballots in derogation of statutory controls as to how they are lawfully received, evaluated, and counted. Whether well intentioned or not, these unconstitutional acts had the same uniform effect—they made the 2020 election less secure in the Defendant States. Those changes are inconsistent with relevant state laws and were made by non-legislative entities, without any consent by the state legislatures. The acts of these officials thus directly violated the Constitution.

It'll certainly be interesting how SCOTUS rules on that. And it's certainly irrelevant how mindless propagandists of the Internet push a narrative on the subject. Or does SCOTUS care?

militarised police is a must have in diverse and open societies, since they are being attacked and influenced by foreign greedy powers all the time.

democrats and biden will try at all costs to corrupt the US-S Financial system with their corrupt socialists.

We need "militarized police" to deal with domestic terror issues.

especially if you put yourself under the high morality of being a diverse society you will end up needing such a martial law enforcement because foreign corruption tries to exploit the diversity, and inclusivity

I'll take the opinion of leading law enforcement authorities over the ramblings of internet posters as to what they need to do their job and how they should do it. The apparent Antifa inspired "defund the police" chant was an obvious attempt to create chaos in certain American cities, and was directly the product of foreign subversive elements.

I don't know ANYONE in the US who believes the police should be defunded. Bet you could go into a prison and get convicts opinions on the matter, and you would not get a majority wanting the police defunded. Because it's plain stupid.

....

WTF?

Melania did not even finish the gymnasium.
She attended some easy trade school, then tried University, failed in the first year.

Steve Jobs, Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg all dropped out of college...

Melania has had nothing but hate spewed in her direction, while Michelle Obama was praised and on the cover of many magazines.

This was disgraceful.

?

He couldn't even be bothered to do a simple Google Image search.

The country sure is split alright. It's split between those who care about things like truth and facts, and those who don't.

I admit it, I didn't do a google search. I'll give you credit for being "sort of right."

...If swallowing his shit is what fueled you for the last 4 years then yes, I can see how its a hard addiction to break, which explains the massive levels of cognitive dissonance among Trump's remaining supporters.

It helps to recognize you have Trump Derangement Syndrome. There are people who can help with it. But you wouldn't listen to them.

Do you believe the election was rigged? Do you believe Trump will resume office on Jan. 20th? If the answer to either of these questions is "yes", you got a worse case of TDS than I ever did.
You may be onto something there. TDS of the positive and negative form.

So you're the sane one? Nice to hear that. I'm sure you are good with the Biden-Hillary wars to come. After all they'll probably just be little ones.
47  Other / Politics & Society / Re: One Million Trees on: December 08, 2020, 12:10:12 AM
In any case, tree planting is needed in New York, because in NY, namely in Manhattan, there is very little vegetation on the city streets, which spoils the impression of the city. This is especially true of Downtown. There is a large number of high-rise buildings made of concrete and glass, and there are almost no trees at all.

I don't care about the appearance of streets in NY at all. Like many other downtowns, it's likely infested with homeless which spoils the impression of the city. This is especially true of Downtown.
Just another comment. I don't care about this. But the people living there may well care, even care quite a bit. Whatever. That's their problem.

49  Other / Politics & Society / Re: "The case for cancelling student debt isn't political" on: December 08, 2020, 12:00:46 AM
But you see, if a commercial firm made a loan, say at 6%, their operating costs might use 5% and profit then is 1%. If cost of money is 1% that's not profitable, so they must charge say 8%.

'operating cost might use 5%..' nah they literally create money. it costs much less

math
a loan manager on say
$100k/year
/52=$1923 a week
/40=$48 a hour
  /2=$24 a half hour
add in 20x postal stamps, A4 pieces of paper and envelope costs. for yearly reminders for 20 years
add in another 30minute labour for putting 20 letters in envelops.

lets call it $80, all in
$80 vs $30k=0.266%

remember a banks admin 'costs' are not real costs

I stopped reading your idiotic nonsense on this thread back when you said...

ok lets handle this little ditty about how banks/governments can write off the debt easy without any argument from banks
...
banks are happy too because they are declaring their $80bill asset loss value as a tax loss.
....

so writing off 33% average(from $80b to $53bill) (first $10k of average $30k debt per student) costs nothing. ....

Nope. That evil cunt is completely relevant as long as she lives.

She did indicate more than an acceptance, more like an eagerness, to start military actions overseas during her "debates" with Trump.

These days Progressive actually means Globalist Neo-marxist.

Well, even down at the level of individual "progressives" like those people we know, they are pro-news banning and suppression (Twitter, Facebook), pro thread censoring, pro user banning, pro-erasing people that don't agree with them / getting them fired.

Totalitarians, and right out in the open.

no further facts are needed.

Except those libturd judges keep demanding facts. WTF is up with that.

Well their voting machines agree with them! What could be wrong with that?
54  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The Kracken! on: December 07, 2020, 03:02:15 PM
How really really simple is it to hack voting machines?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wmoxE1sJc1c

If you start with the fact the machines are windows-based (for those familiar with operating systems) no further facts are needed.
55  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Sexual objectification of women, what the hell is this? on: December 06, 2020, 03:03:31 PM
If a man thinks he is sexually objectifying a woman or more than one, all he is doing is stimulating his own sexual response without realizing it. The woman is her own person. Just because a man feels something, doesn't mean the woman is aware of it.

Cool

there are women that are thriving in that sexual objectification, like powergreedy witches.

the boom in porn industry made a lot of very powerful witches very powerful rich and famous, like asa akira, or renee pornero

they literally look like witches in their country of origin's history books.
Odd, I could have sworn it was Islamic women in full body black burkas that look like witches.

But maybe...just maybe if you keep insisting, more and more stridently, it will become truey?

I think at this stage, it's the Trump supporters who are desperate for their fantasy to become real.  It'll take time, but eventually you'll come to terms with the fact that he lost.

After Democrats spent four years harassing Trump and claiming his election was illegitimate, don't hold your breath. What comes around goes around. You've got 74 million against you, and they are not docile little sheeple that will get into line.
57  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Its time to stop calling the left progressive, because they are the opposite on: December 06, 2020, 02:32:31 PM
the leftists in the west have have nothing to do with progress anymore with progress as they only destroy long developed institutions and replace them with evil dark age trash in which people suffer....

When "the Left" agitprop for trans and cis-rights, the natural consequence being flooding women's sports with Creatures from the Dark Side, then they have directly ruined those activities for all women.

That's really fucking stupid.

From Wikipedia, let us clear up your delusions. Please follow your prime directive of your Overlords to continue repeating phrases like "no evidence" and "baseless". Do not deviate into joking about the Kraken. Did the illustrious Karl Marx joke about the Kraken? Nope. Never. He was smart enough to FEAR THE KRACKEN.

For this ancient text, hafgufa = kraken.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kraken

Now I will tell you that there are two sea-monsters. One is called the hafgufa [sea-mist[a]], another lyngbakr [heather-back[a]]. It [the lyngbakr] is the largest whale in the world, but the hafgufa is the largest monster in the sea. It is the nature of this creature to swallow men and ships, and even whales and everything else within reach. It stays submerged for days, then rears its head and nostrils above surface and stays that way at least until the change of tide. Now, that sound we just sailed through was the space between its jaws, and its nostrils and lower jaw were those rocks that appeared in the sea, while the lyngbakr was the island we saw sinking down. However, Ogmund Tussock has sent these creatures to you by means of his magic to cause the death of you [Odd] and all your men. He thought more men would have gone the same way as those that had already drowned [i.e., to the lyngbakr which wasn't an island, and sank], and he expected that the hafgufa would have swallowed us all. Today I sailed through its mouth because I knew that it had recently surfaced.

The famous Swedish 18th century naturalist Carl Linnaeus included the kraken in the first edition of its systematic natural catalog Systema Naturae from 1735.

Cancel federal loans period and get the government’s fingers OUT of the free market..
...

But you see, if a commercial firm made a loan, say at 6%, their operating costs might use 5% and profit then is 1%. If cost of money is 1% that's not profitable, so they must charge say 8%.

If the government makes the loan it profits 8%. Meanwhile it forces the interest rate to <1%.

So it's a situation created by government and then used by government to increase income to government. The prime interest rate cannot be raised, because then government would not have sufficient income to pay interest on the loans.

Really, "cancelling federal loans" is just part of a socialist marketing ploy. It makes no sense without free college going forward. But the colleges have jacked their fees up in accordance with what's allowed in fees.

Meanwhile the free market can compete by obsolescing traditional college entirely. 3/4 of a degree can be online, with canned lectures by the world's best professors, the other fraction in person. The entire cost of an under graduate degree program doesn't need to exceed a few thousand USD per year.

a couple of beers and a shot

Yep, that's definitely a problem. Thou shalt not debase beer drinking with other liquids. Kracken will not forgive this.
Indeed, the Kraken may be a totally alcohol based life form.

Should they in fact come ashore COVID IS OVER.
