Wasn't trying to spam anything.  It is free and supposedly it will net BTC.  I'm new to everything BTC and stumbled across this earlier today.

Alright. I have not clicked it though, so I didn't know. However, I think posting such referal URLs is not allowed. I can't find the Original English forum rules, but in the Dutch section a moderator posted that it isn't allowed to add referal URLS in posts (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=466986.0). Although that is posted one year ago.

But hey, that does bring up a new for the participant to earn some BTC: Refer new people into websites with affiliate systems Smiley

10 years?! I think that is because the media was on the incident.. Way too much if you ask me. If punishment is suitable, there were other ways to deal with the officer..

He was given 10 years of "suspended sentence". He never went to jail, although he lost his job. Although he had to forego his salary and benefits, he must be feeling lucky.  Grin  Unimaginable things occur to cops who are sent to prison. The hardcore criminals single them out, and subject them to the most barbarous torture methods.

Ah, I didn't knew that that was called 'suspended sentence' in English. Then I think the punishment is acceptable.

I'm sure cops will not be treated nicely in those jails. The same is the fact for rapists and child abusers (for which I don't mind that they get an "extra punishment" in jail).
403  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] BITBINGO.IO - The Highest Fixed Rate Campaign, bi-weekly pay on: June 04, 2015, 09:33:38 PM
Looks like Carra23 has paid the participants of this signature campaign again: https://blockchain.info/nl/tx/204726c3da12630e0e506a6853d84bfdb815d8d28ab3b4e628d11fc57d48d05f ; https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1mGlAi_up8kFsdjjsxHYI1Hb15QH8KwdpWMZ-gX5YvPs/edit#gid=1913786985

Thanks Carra23. I will leave you a positive feedback again. If you would like me to create 1 feedback (instead of 3 separate ones) please PM me and I'll change it.

I see also the amount of 'starting posts' for this 2 weeks has also been updated: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1mGlAi_up8kFsdjjsxHYI1Hb15QH8KwdpWMZ-gX5YvPs/edit#gid=1616882015. Well done Carra23!

by the by what is the START date I should use for this campaign to start my 2 weeks is it as I suspect from June 1st 2015?

Due to the downtime, the days changed a bit. Today a new period has started, so if you're accepted, I think also your two weeks start from now on.
404  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where to get highest free BTC? on: June 04, 2015, 05:10:18 PM
I just found a site that does free cloud mining.  They start you off with 10 GH/s but you can make it grow the more you are on the site.
bitzfree.com/?ref=HIS-REF-URL-HERE
signup is free just need an email and a wallet for payment.

Did you really created that account to spam your referal URL over here? You're not allowed to spam these links.

- -

To the TS, be aware of such links. As they get paid to attract new people into the websites, they often make look the website (and its payouts etc) a bit nicer etc.

I think many good arguments have been given now in this topic with regard to how to earn some BTC, whether this is "free" or not; in fact is isn't as everything costs you time and efforts (such as faucets, signature campaigns etc).

405  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [NSFW] What do you guys think about this.. on: June 04, 2015, 05:06:11 PM
She should be happy she didn't get bullet in the head. These days cops are going mad, probably because of brainwash training.

Wow, who would be happy if your head was kicked. That's so unreasonable. Didn't you see the cop friends try to help her after that?  Smiley The cop was getting hard problem in his head maybe

The point is that if she hadn't gone and tried to kick him in the fucking first place that wouldn't have happened, people like this idiot detract from real victims of police bruality who haven't actually done anything, the way you fuckers blindly side with the woman 'just because' is pathetic.

If a drunken woman took a swing at a cop and they defended themselves would you side with the person trying to attack them? Knowing people like you I suspect you would.

I agree with you, that's exactly my opinion. If the woman would not have kicked the officer, this thing would not have happened at all. Sure, it was not a good reaction. He should kick handcuffed people (both male and female), but I think it was all a reaction. The woman should not have attacked the officer in the first place.

Tried to do a bit of research on the incident. Here is the news paper article about it:

http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/rhode-island-officer-kicked-cuffed-woman-face-fights-job-article-1.1112719

This incident occurred in May 2009. The officer (Edward Krawetz) was handed a 10-year suspended sentence. He was also suspended without pay from his job. Don't know what happened to the lady (Donna Levesque). Did she got any compensation?

10 years?! I think that is because the media was on the incident.. Way too much if you ask me. If punishment is suitable, there were other ways to deal with the officer..

Goed initiatief inderdaad!

407  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitpay does not dump on exchanges on: June 03, 2015, 09:47:51 PM
The "investors" that they sell to, they can dump on exchanges, hedge ect. If they sold the coins they would need to
get a trading desk , a whole dept for selling the coins and not just "dump". imo

Yeah, at the end of the day people are going to end up doing whatever they want with their money. If they want to dump, they will dump. They don't dump, someone else will.
We shouldn't be worried about people dumping their coins, but about demand lowering. As long as there is demand, who cares if people dump.

It's all about the relation between the supply and the demand. But I agree with you, we should worry about decreasing demand. Now more and more people know about Bitcoin, we should experience an increase in demand (which increases the current value too). There will always be people selling or dumping their coins; there's no way to stop that. Increasing the demand for Bitcoin is the way to go.

nah.. the way to go is for people to stop blindly folowing the crappy exchanges that use php and mysql databases.. especially those coded by people under 25yo with no financial work experience prior to bitcoin.

many of the current "exchanges" seem flawed.. the amount of resistance (huge lumps(walls) of bitcoin) seems low. where just 20-200 bitcoin can make the price change dramatically.

when there are investors wanting to bite into $30mill worth of bitcoins. the last place they should visit is an exchange. and thus it should be the last place people use to value their coin.

exchanges these days are just for bots to mess around day trading. definitely not a place for serious investors who want to invest longterm

I share your opinion, however, I don't think investors should use exchanges for their investment plans. If you want to invest in Bitcoin (or other altcoins), that's great. But then use exchanges (or other parties) to BUY bitcoin, and not to store them. Cold wallets are the way to go with regard to storing them.

But I agree, if you have a lot of money to invest, the history told us it is not really safe to deposit them into an exchange in order to buy Bitcoins over time - for a acceptable price.
408  Local / Nederlands (Dutch) / Re: Rotterdam Bitcoin Capital on: June 03, 2015, 09:41:11 PM
Sounds good.

410  Other / Off-topic / Re: TV Series Recommendations... on: June 03, 2015, 09:33:31 PM
Sure,I'm finishing Dexter right now and I only have 2 shows that I'm watching right now except Dexter, and they are going to have their season finale in a week or two,and the rest of the shows I watch are in mid-seasons time,so I'm a bit out of shows to watch right now  Roll Eyes

I've only seen a couple of seperate episodes of Dexter yet. Once I've got more spare time, I think Dexter is on my list of series-to-be-watched.

In my environment I hear good reviews about Arrow and The Walking Dead. Therefore those are on top of my list yet. I only have to watch 2 episodes of The Blacklist to finish season 2. I guess I will have finished season 2 of this serie this week. I think The Blacklist is a great serie too. A lot of action, and it's even possible to watch separate episodes.
411  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [NSFW] What do you guys think about this.. on: June 03, 2015, 07:34:42 PM
The officers response was total instinctive reflex... I bet he regretted it afterwards...
i may agree but he stil need to be punished in my opinion.

Sure, get drunk if you want to;

But don't think that is a way to get lose of your responsibility. If you drink the alcohol to get drunk (or take drugs to get high), deal with the responsibility. If this means that you get arrested (due to behaviour that is caused by your drunkness), then you are responsible for it. So, if you kick a police officer while being drunk, you still have your responsibility: deal with the consequences.

There's no way to "hide" behind being high or drunk like many people think. You decided to get high / drunk and therefore you have to deal with the consequences of your own behaviour.
412  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [NSFW] What do you guys think about this.. on: June 03, 2015, 03:15:57 PM
In my country, we kick the ass of those cops.

Looks like you made that account just for this post. Well done.

And this is not about whether hitting women is bad or not opossum. Sure it is! Assaulting police officers is bad too.  And, like Lethn said, this is about self defense. If you are attacked (by either a woman or a man), you're allowed to defense yourself as long this is reasonable force. As I said before, I don't think this is reasonable force by the police officer, but the woman is wrong by attacking him in the first place.  And who knows what happend before.. I can tell you, drunk woman are the worst to deal with.
413  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [NSFW] What do you guys think about this.. on: June 03, 2015, 01:54:46 PM
It's not funny at all. I think we share the same opinion Twister, however, I think each kick to the shin can be painful. There's nothing like "strong legs" to protect for those kicks.

However, I don't think police officers are not "allowed" to react if they were not really hurt from a kick; even when someone misses a punch they should react in my opinion.
414  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [NSFW] What do you guys think about this.. on: June 03, 2015, 01:49:01 PM
One of the biggest problems we have here is the fact that we're making self-defence a crime, the law is so vague when it claims you should only use "Reasonable force" it needs to be far more specific than that so people stop bickering over whether the person was a woman or not and so on.

I agree with you on that point. Self-defence is a statutory defense (I hope that is the right word). Here in the Netherlands we have self-defence and something that is called "noodweer" (but I have no clue how to translate that). "Noodweer" goes a bit further than self-defense, it is the same in the sense that "noodweer" is a statutory defence that "allows" you to protect yourself, others or yours of their goods, but in a situation of "noodweer" there is no other way than the use of violence to protect this. You can't simple run away, which is the fact in most of the situations in which people appeal for self-defence as a statutory defense.
415  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Amazon gift card for btc on: June 03, 2015, 01:43:51 PM
Do you have a digital code or a physical card for sale? How much BTC do you want for it?

With your current 'newbie status' on this forum I think it's going to be quite hard to make this deal. Even when you use an escrow for helping in this deal.

Edit; such cards are most often traded in this section: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=93.0.
416  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [NSFW] What do you guys think about this.. on: June 03, 2015, 01:38:46 PM
I'm not sure. First of all, I think we should respect the police officers way more than we do now. The police officers here in the Netherlands are quite soft. I've to work with them quite often. Sometimes they let people walk away when they call them bad words, or even when they are physical attacked by drunks etc. It all depends on the situation, but I think they are way too soft (here).

However, it's obvious that the woman could not protect herself from that kick. I think both are wrong in this situation. As BG4 mentioned, I think the officer regrets what he has done (especially if he notice that this all was recorded). Should he be punished, nah. The woman should have not attacked him in the first place; the officer would not have kicked her if she didn't attacked him.
417  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where to get highest free BTC? on: June 03, 2015, 01:24:17 PM
If you really want free BTC, you should go for faucets. There are several of them. Just search on google for 'BTC faucet' or 'bitcoin faucet'.

There is also the option of gambling, but in order to do that, you first need to buy BTC.

Faucets pay so very very little.  You can in most cases hope for a few cent's a hour.  It is sad, but it's true.

I suggest finding a signature campaign and joining it.   It will pay better then facet and also you would be posting anyways so win/win.  Just don't spam is the biggest thing.

How to find a signature campaign and joining? Can you please explain me bit more? I would like to do so.

I suggest you to visit https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=615953.0; Mitchełł made a nice (up-to-date) overview containing all existing signature campaigns on this forum.

However, as a "member" (forum rank) on this forum you won't earn much. Besides that, as SubSTRATA already mentioned, be sure not to spam useless posts. Looking at your current posts, most of them exist of "bump messages". I don't think any signature campaign provider is willing to pay for such posts; so if you want to join a campaign, you should change your way of posting on this forum.

418  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: New Faucet BTC makefreebtc.com on: June 02, 2015, 10:12:06 PM
... why would anyone use this when now days there may faucets giving 1000 satoshi and its better to have 1000 satoshi every hour then 100 after every 5min.

The latter is indeed better (for users), however, I think when you own a faucet, you should create as much traffic (and therefore views) to your website, as this will increase your income from advertisements. Also, when people have to fill in a CAPTCHA to earn some Satoshi, this is a way to generate money for the owner of a faucet.

In the end, the owner of a faucet should create a profitable trade-off between costs and income; providing bigger payouts will result in higher costs.
419  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: June 02, 2015, 09:40:13 PM
Saving money is an art and requires a great level of discipline. Prepare an budget and action plan and follow this plan with a great level of discipline presently the youth believes in spending rather than saving money so reduce unwanted expenses and try to save each penny in the best possible way.
And also they need a goals so that they have an inspiration to save, and thats right having a discipline with their selves.

I guess you dont need to set your goals to inspire you to save money. With the good dicipline on saving you can earn a lot and with that amount of

money you can do many things. By setting your higher goal that will make you like dreaming a lot so its like hoping to get miracle to get it without doing

things so that is not a great idea. May be you can set your plan first how to save and how much are you going to save each week or month may be
Yeah its belong planning every month how much will you save but. If you only save and save and you don't have a goal? How you spend it? And what is the reason why you save? having a goals or dreams make you a better saver and it make you happy.

Sure, but there's again another side of this. In my opinion, working hard and a lot to get as much money as possible (to probably save as much money as possible to fulfill a dream) is also a no-go.

I really like to find a good combination of spare time and time I need to work; I don't want to work 60 hours a week just to earn a lot of money. Working 30 hours per week (for example) might make me even more happy. I think you should work just enough to pay your monthly costs (- don't live too wealthy) and then a bit more to save some money (for unexpected expenses etc).

420  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you expect from dice sites? on: June 02, 2015, 09:37:10 PM
Something that stands out from other dice sites. Something that is unique and not on many dice sites. If there aren't any reasons, what makes your dice site superior than others? I would suggest a cool way of implementing a faucet, maybe some games you can play to pass the time and also earn more btc.

Faucets aren't really unique as many dice sites do have them. However, I think faucets are a great way to increase the total amount of bets - which might result in making your dice site more popular. I think the reason why most site use the traditional ways of CAPTCHA - faucets is that they actually get paid for this and that they can confirm that bots are not making use of their faucets 24/7.  I don't think there is a 'cool way' to implement a faucet without loosing these benefits.

Some extra, nice and new games to earn some extra BTC (even without any bets required) should be great indeed. This will make a dice set more popular.
