Wow, nice new toys! I'm scared to do anything new until after the halving. I was going to host the machines I have and get some more, but I've decided to hold off and see what happens after July. I'm hoping a bit of the bottom drops out and makes mega-mines no longer efficient to run and we see the difficulty come back down to levels that garage miners can hope to solve.

Either he managed to unplug one of the 9 melted pci-e plugs, one of them didn't overheat, or he was only using 8 of them (note middle plug on top board). All in all it's probably user error.

Interesting and as always a pity that they do not tell us what they have changed.... Like Caanan said, all bitcoin related software should be 100% open source so everyone can see what is going on.

I have doubled my miners apparently with help of the heat wave in UK. 3x S5 working as fans to help circulating air, and I'm enjoying the breeze (and hash) Doesn't that just make it even hotter? I have to turn my miners off during the day when it's hot. Been lucky so far this spring and had a lot of cool weather.

0.4BTC, holy cow! That's quite a prize for a free pick-em game.
I think the on and off hash power may have been some of this next generation gear being tested or burned in, and now it's here to stay.

And network hash power is still climbing after adjustment. This is it, the last push before the halving made of probably the next-gen gear.

Woo, I'm #1! If only for a little bit. 511k won't last too long at the top. Still at the top, now with 11M share, who's gonna take me down this round? Wait a little Moment Mate Im going to fire on the Afterburner 😎 Still waiting... comfortably at the top of the list in #1 position!

Yea this big peak this adjustment is looking to be more of a big plateau than a peak. We may be seeing things turn on permanently until the halving.
the guess they filled up the space made by all those cheap s-7 sold and filled the racks with s-9s Which would also make sense to explain some of the previous peaks being the newly made s-7's coming off the line and getting plugged in at a mine before coming offline and being sold "as new". I don't thinks all the hash is Bitmain, but I think generally this is what we are seeing happen. And here I thought things would be quiet before the halving...

Boring promo... but it'll still get you some extra coin Let's find a block before the diff change! As of now, there are 272 blocks to go. So, everyone who finds a block before the diff change gets 1 BTC. But wait... there's more! After the diff changes, I'm going to take everyone's name who found a block and put them into a hat (virtually speaking of course). I will draw one name from that hat and that person will receive 1 BTC bonus. So... if you are the only one who solves a block? You're guaranteed 2 BTC. As always the promos are fun, especially for a small time miner like me. It's a gamble for me to run these machines, so it's good to keep it interesting!

I'm needing some help with the android app. I've read through the thread. I'm struggling with the cryptoglance url. How do I know or determine where it is located and what it is? I'm sure this is a silly questions but I'm not tech savvy. Thanks
It's the ip address (and port) of the machine CG is running on.

It has dropped off in 15 adjustments since NOV. about a 60 -150 ph drop , but in Jan - Feb it ran for 22 days in a row.
And it looks like we may have hit the peak network hash power for the period already and it's leveling off, but too early to tell for certain.

I'm rocking 3xS7's hoping that maybe by july11th I'll hit a block, if not by then I might just sell my miners and be done. Do u guys think I'm wasting my time ? It's only a waste of time if you can't afford the electricity or it's not fun to you. I have 4.7TH and I point it here most of the time just hoping to get lucky, because that is part of the fun of mining to me.

What's impressive is that the vast majority of miners didn't bail out on the pool. Anyone that leaves a pool with a history like this one over 1 red block is an idiot.

Hash NOW than later!!
This is an interesting affirmation. What makes you say so ? Because they want your top-dollar money right now for soon-to-be-obsolete hardware, and then again when they release new stuff. A company that sells widgets will always tell you to buy their widget right now and don't wait because that is what they are in business to do.

I run cryptoglance 24/7 on my old XP box and it's a champ, zero problems or issues. User vg54dett's issues are something else, not CG.
