401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: alt season over or about to start ? on: February 27, 2021, 10:12:58 PM
In my opinion, the BTC bears will attack the lower prices below $40000 ad the altcoins will follow the path of BTC bears. The new cheap prices will be affordable for all investors who didn't buy before the trend and market cycles will repeat again.
If you look at the market all the top coins have rallied and it is a big risk if you enter the market now and even if we see a minor correction you need to have nerves of steel to enter the market as you never know what might happen whether we will see the market correction or gain momentum again to move up, so it is a difficult spot for small time investors like me to enter even during a minor correction.
402  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: who leads the frontline for the war against Bitcoin vs Government on: February 27, 2021, 08:33:24 PM
This is a question I often ask myself each times I hear that the government is doing all within there power to break down the Bitcoin or crypto system as a whole and every time they try, they just fall one more time. Then you see the bitcoin market gain more and more investors as it continues to flourish.
There are some governments trying to disrupt the market but there are governments that are embracing the decentralized currency and trying to figure out on how to use them as an alternative. If any governments wants to create a law and ban the entire market they can do that in that country and until there are other markets open for you to trade there is nothing they can enforce until the government impose heavy fine and jail terms which is the most probable tactics they will be using.
403  Economy / Speculation / Re: next Bitcoin price correction WHEN? on: February 26, 2021, 03:22:06 PM
they do not invest to earn a few pennies, these people enter the market to earn millions.
The institutional investors already earned billion worth of profit till now and it is time that they will book their profit and it is not a big surprise that we are seeing correction every alternative day. It is hard to predict what these institutions will be planning to book the profit and i wont be surprised if some of them book their initial capital and then reinvest again and keep on doing that in cycles for a while.
404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Musk twitted - Doge WOW on: February 25, 2021, 10:49:08 PM
After that, there's still no movement for Doge. I guess it's a sign that those people who keeps up with the hype should start changing their strategy and choose fundamentals than hypes and tweets of Elon.
It is not a secret that the price is not moving according to fundamentals but it is a mere hype train and a speculative market for years. The tweets of Elon Musk has proved that multiple times and investors does not care about the core fundamentals and all they look forward is pumping the coin so that they could earn the profit they are looking forward.
405  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 25, 2021, 09:59:37 PM
LOL.. in all probability, the WTC final is going to be between India and New Zealand and the interesting thing is that England will be hosting the match. This is a perfect opportunity for England to take out revenge.  Grin

They can prepare a pitch which will give all sort of assistance to pace bowlers. New Zealand currently have the best pace bowlers for any team in international cricket, with Trent Boult, Kyle Jamieson, Lockie Ferguson, Adam Milne, Tim Southee, Neil Wagner.etc competing for slots in the playing XI. Indian batsmen are going to struggle against them under unfavorable conditions.
India also have a long list of fast bowlers that could trouble any batsman like Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj, T. Natarajan,  Bhuvneshwar Kumar ( if his body allows  Cheesy), Umesh Yadav, Ishant Sharma, Kamlesh Nagarkoti, Shivam Mavi and the list can go on and on and if England will make a pitch could will help the fast bowlers then it will be a disadvantage for both the teams.
406  Economy / Economics / Re: COIN PRICES CRASHING!!! SELL BITCOIN NOW!!!! on: February 24, 2021, 11:34:26 PM
Indeed, bitcoin is decreasing but I don't think there will be many people who will assume it as bearish sign. The dumping price a lot doesn't mean its price will crash, that is the important part that you should know.
With institutional investors having large quantities of coins that could affect the market you do not need to convince many people to assume the market situation for the market to go down  Grin. I do not trust the charts and the market is really hard to predict and when the price started to fall i thought we are going to see a major correction but the support held and now it is recovering and everything happens within 24 hours and it is really crazy.
407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum gas problem to be resolved in July on: February 23, 2021, 11:46:28 PM
In July, in about four months, as part of the improvements to Ethereum 2.0, it is expected that high gas prices will go away, if not forever, then for a long time.
Ethereum Improvement Proposal (EIP) 1559 is the most anticipated improvement along with increased scalability for the network since the launch of ETH 2.0.
We hope that the staggering popularity of Ethereum will not only recover, but also soar to an unprecedented level.
These are predictions that the gas price will be reduced in the coming months and we will know whether it will happen in the coming months, there are many layers to it when it comes to the price, the miners might be selling the coins to cover their profit and it will have an impact on the price and i consider the valuation of ETH above $2000 an unprecedented level with higher transaction charges and i am expecting a correction.
408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP Rally Starts Today! on: February 22, 2021, 08:18:53 PM
~
And it is precisely because of this that the situation of ripple is so desperate, in the case of bitcoin those that have believed in it for years have obtained massive profits and have been rewarded for their confidence on the project, but what about ripple? The opposite has happened, those that kept holding their coins hoping for a recovery have in the best case scenario just wasted their time but most likely they have lost so much money that it is becoming impossible for those people to keep holding their coins despite their loyalty to ripple.
People who were holding Ripple from the start had a massive profit and if not for the SEC lawsuit we might have seen the price pushing towards a dollar which was an impossible valuation to think when it started and even with all these negative news surrounding i am surprised that people are still investing in it as we are seeing some days where the price is moving up.
409  Other / Off-topic / Re: Deontay Wilder: He makes another WILD conspiracy theory about his loss to Fury on: February 22, 2021, 07:32:16 PM
Every individual that watch the fight knew Wilder trainer throw the towel as at the when expected time cause he's not fit to continue with the fight which he also said he's feeling dizzy due to the blood he lost through his ear cut.
Throwing in the towel is the perfect decision by his coach as Wilder was in no shape to continue the fight and he was eating punches. When he first fired his coach for throwing the towel i thought it was a gimmick to claim that his warrior spirit will not allow to go down like that but then once the continued with the same path it was comical as he turned out to be a sore looser.

I once somehow believe his first excuse about Fury having something in his gloves but now I know Wilder just can't get over the fight
Gloves, in ring entrance clothes, spiking his drinks. He has many excuses.
410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How much will ETH be worth ten years from now? on: February 22, 2021, 02:45:44 PM
$10k per ETH is way too much, in my own opinion. The ever-increasing supply of ETH will prevent this from becoming a reality anytime soon. Even if it reaches $10k, it will go down the drain faster than you could ever imagine. A more realistic price would be $2k - $5k per coin within a decade from now.
If you really think about the entire ETH market it is really crazy, i never thought that the price would rally with the transaction charges so high and yet the price crossed its all time high valuation and touched $2000 which is really crazy considering how many coins are there in circulation and the realistic price would be around $350 to $500.

411  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: February 22, 2021, 12:10:47 PM
Australia tour of New Zealand starts tomorrow. My bet is on New Zealand but i am expecting a competitive match.
I am also expecting a good performance from New Zealand, simply because they are having the momentum right now.
As expected New Zealand won the match easily as they have a really good bench strength and high class quality bowlers and when the New Zealand openers fell cheaply i thought they are in big trouble but then Devon Conway who is a player i am seeing for the first time played a magnificent innings and he really deserved a century and the Aussie battling line up struggled as expected chasing the total.
412  Economy / Economics / Re: Dubai Free Zone Becomes First UAE Government Entity to Accept Bitcoin on: February 22, 2021, 07:33:30 AM
It's a big news from few days ago but i did not find any reference here on bitcointalk about it.
Remember this news came after few days of Tesla buying $1.5B worth of Bitcoins BTC
The free zone in Dubai is allowing customers to pay for Dubai trade licenses and visas with bitcoin (BTC), ether (ETH) and the tether (USDT)
It is good to hear that the Dubai government is accepting bitcoin as a mode of payment and for countries like India who are planning to ban the use of cryptocurrencies should learn from these development and come up with regulation rather than making them a grey area but i am not glad to see that they are accepting USDT because of their shady path of minting new coins and the lack of clarity.
413  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: February 21, 2021, 11:56:21 PM
Teams are struggling to score big totals so far in the PSL. Peshawar Zalmi could only make 140 earlier today, and now the Sultans ended up at 150/8 (despite 71 from Mohammad Rizwan). And in reply, Islamabad seems to be in some sort of trouble. They have lost two important wickets before the first power play ends (Phil Salt and Shadab Khan). Right now it is like 50/50.
I am finding it difficult to predict the PSL matches, Multan had a good start and then wickets kept falling until Carlos Brathwaite came to the crease, i cannot understand why they are keeping him in lower order, he is a clean hitter and he should be promoted up the order and the same with the run chase Islamabad kept loosing wickets and the lower order batsman took them to victory.

Australia tour of New Zealand starts tomorrow. My bet is on New Zealand but i am expecting a competitive match.
414  Economy / Economics / Re: Indian Economy to grow at 11.5% in 2021 say IMF on: February 21, 2021, 11:35:04 PM
I doubt there is a lot of BTC in India, so whatever the government does it can't have that big an impact. Are there any known Indian BTC whale ?
There are many users from India who are into bitcoin from the start and they are holding a large amount of coins and some of the bitcoiners are not active in the forum but that does not mean they are not actively trading. Then there are exchanges that are having high trading volumes which means there are active users and any stupid decision from the government can have an impact on the local market atleast.

When it comes to the prediction of Indian economic growth i do not have much hope as there is nothing that shows any improvement.
415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will satoshi make a altcoin, giving us a second chance to get rich? on: February 21, 2021, 08:09:22 PM
I was using the internet since 2010 but back then I never heard of bitcoin like the early people, will satoshi come back as a anonymous and give us leaked info on a new coin giving us a second chance to become rich?
If you could not find bitcoin when Satoshi published everything then you will not find a second coming of Satoshi. It is not created to make everyone rich, it was a payment system and if you were lucky enough to invest during the early days then you had the opportunity to make your life better and in life it is hard to get a second chance  Tongue.

Anonymous are welcome to comment on predictions for next 10 years, is satoshi working on a new altcoin ?
First you need to pull Satoshi from oblivion to know what his plans are  Tongue.
416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BINANCE COIN (BNB) as 3rd BIGGEST COIN right now!!!! on: February 21, 2021, 06:02:46 PM
This is unbelievable. the development of Binance in a short time made the price of BNB to have increased quite significantly. I myself see the role of the BSC in this matter quite high. transactions at the BSC have increased every day and now we can see that the price of BNB has increased. In addition, investor confidence regarding BNB is also quite high at this time. The role of Cz was very influential
It is possible that people trust CZ even though he pisses some people off with his antics and he does have the influence to attract project developers to use his platform and we are seeing a change in that and he must be having some kind of offers for these developers to migrate from ETH to BSC and with Binance leading from the forefront he can corner the market easily.
417  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin BREAKS $20,000! - Binance on: February 20, 2021, 11:30:14 PM
I may not so optimism but the next best milestone is 80k.
Why 80k? because in July 2010, bitcoin began trading at a value of US$0.0008
Hitting $80k on July 2021 will MARK a 10,000,000,000% increase in a span of 11 years.
What do you think bitcoin community?
It sounds good and if it somehow hits, you can create a new thread with these specifications as i never thought like that and to think that the price rallied from $0.0008 to where it is now in a decade is just mind boggling and anyone who was holding bitcoin and sold well before these rallies will be cursing themselves for missing these opportunities .
418  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: February 20, 2021, 06:38:10 PM
As Rayudu performed so well when he opened in 2018, proper use of his potential is also been jeopardize because of the uncertainty of his batting position.
I hope they will include Imran Tahir in the team as he is the best bowler in the shorter format and Mooen Ali if given the opening slot and if he performs would be a crucial position and it will allow them the freedom to add bowlers. The problem with Raina is that we have no idea about his fitness as he is not playing international cricket.

Couple of things of this IPL auction - Would Arjun Tendulkar be picked by any other team if Mumbai had not picked him? Or was Mumbai had to picked since Sachin is associated with Mumbai?
I doubt whether any other team will pick Arjun Tendulkar and i doubt whether he will get an opportunity to play. The selection must be a gift to Tendulkar by the Ambani family Cheesy.

Last Year Vivo was not chosen due to Chinese company, so how come the board has made an approval for the same company this time, when as far as know India has banned even the Chinese app but the board is allowing the Vivo as the main sponsor, is'nt that a big debateable discussion with BCCI.
There are many hypocrisies and banning of the Chinese app is one thing and someone sponsoring huge amount is another, the mobile companies are not banned to avoid them.
419  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Hit 1Trillion Market Cap on: February 20, 2021, 04:59:32 PM
The '1 trillion market cap' thing isn't quite true because of the fact that a large proportion of the coins mined early on have been lost, creating artificial scarcity.  However, perhaps the best boost that will come out of this is if Bitcoin approaches the market cap of silver, in which case it'll be difficult to treat Bitcoin based on its original purpose (as a P2P electronic cash system) rather than a digital asset which seems to be how it's most often treated now by speculators.
On papers it is what it is and the lost coins makes it even rarer as millions of coins are lost to Satoshi and then there are multiple millions that are lost due to multiple factors including loosing the password and to hackers, so the total coins will be a few millions less coins when everything is mined and it is already considered as a speculative market and hopefully we will see more companies accepting bitcoin as a currency in the coming years.
