421  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 06, 2023, 11:59:16 PM
Third T20 match between India vs Sri Lanka gonna be very interesting. Both the teams winning a match and the last match to decide the series winner is really interesting. Both the matches were good to watch. The first one had a fiery bowling from India and restricting within 162 at the last moment is big thriller. Second match Sri Lanka batted in full form. An easy winning for Sri Lanka was taken to the last over as the bottom order powered the match.
422  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you bet is chess matches? on: January 05, 2023, 11:56:53 PM
Chess is skill based and I'm not that good in chess. These kind of P2P games when played with friends it'll be very interesting. Maybe I'll try with my girl, because she's better in chess and have won in her college days. If I was to play against the system, then I won't prefer it. Because for every move we do, the system is assigned with specific moves and the match can't be won.

Will Bitcoin Die or Pump Up in 2023?

Bitcoin is already dead. There will be no pumps in 2023 unless you flip the price chart upside down.
The price will pump, but the same won't happen in the large scale. If the market is dead we could've never experienced the market movement to stay over $16k for a long. According to the experts prediction the price won't experience a massive downturn or upwards movement. It gradually moves within specific limits and starts upward movement when we get near to halving.
424  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin banking is more preferable than normal bank. on: January 05, 2023, 11:50:53 PM
Maybe the traditional system isn't that effective, for the centralised functioning. Slowly there are moves happening around in which traditional and the cryptocurrency coexist. When it comes to cryptocurrency the user have the complete control over the funds. The same can't be expected with traditional banks. The ultimate of blockchain is to remove the third party and provide the benefits to the owners.
425  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Digital dollar a threat to Bitcoin ? on: January 05, 2023, 11:46:28 PM
If the government lets things flow naturally, the Digital dollar will never be a threat to Bitcoin.  The only threat to Bitcoin is the government that creates that Digital dollar.  The reason is that the government can impose a regulation that prohibits any Bitcoin transaction or usage of Bitcoin just to promote their CBDC.  It will not only cut people from using Bitcoin but also discourage any future adoption of Bitcoin.
Digital dollars are developed to limit the usage of bitcoin and make people turn towards CBDC. Already many countries have done it, and this will get added to the list. Nothing specific as to make bitcoin down. As said in a post the misunderstanding could make few people get into it at the beginning. This might cause some temporary impact which in the long term gets subsided.
426  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hackers Demand Bitcoin as Ransom in Romania on: January 05, 2023, 11:42:24 PM
Similar incidents have taken place in the past. Mostly this happens with the hospital servers, because when it comes to life saving the authorities might think of settling the ransom and getting the problem solved. In the past these kind of attacks were easily tackled and the servers were taken back into control. Loss of data could happen, but experts could retrieve back the functioning.
427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chasing the big multipliers in soccer on: January 02, 2023, 10:23:26 PM
Did you lose all of them? I can confirm too, haven't checked the Porto match result. I don't track that league a lot. Anyway, I had this experiment long ago lol, and at the end, I was in loss overall. In soccer, such result happen a lot of times, yesterday for example. PSG lost the match. If you continuously bet on underdog, you are going to lose a lot for sure.
I have gotten 5+ odd a few times but that's rare of course. I was lucky in the last cricket T20 world cup, I was able to get 7+ odds in 2 match if I can remember correctly.
Going against the odds is really interesting and in some matches it used to turn and finally our bet used to fail. I've got chances to win big odds from tennis matches. Most of the time I used to do live betting. Here it is an easy task to go with the best odds. As said it is a way to examine whether we're lucky or not.
428  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting Types Newbies Should know About on: January 02, 2023, 10:18:58 PM
There's a type of betting in the Philippines too. They call it End Betting or Ending, where they bet over what the last digit of the score of the teams will be. Games where score can go to two digits or more is perfect for this game, basketball for instance. Special cards are given to confirmed bettors where they are to cross out what they think the end numbers will be. And a little futures betting is involved because they are basically predicting game outcomes. It has been a huge part of the neighborhood culture in the country, and as far as I know it is still in practice to this day.
What's been said is a game that is being played in your locality. What OP have mentioned is about the basics every cryptocurrency newbie into gambling should learn. Most of the time we play without understanding the basic and OP's description were mostly for the sports betting. When it comes to casino games, it is all about strategies.
429  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 02, 2023, 10:14:48 PM
New Zealand and Pakistan share the day. It was great to see Pakistan fight back, particularly in the last session, after New Zealand started well. However, 309/6 is not a bad score. The first hour of tomorrow's match will be crucial for both teams. From there, we'll know whether the match will end in a draw or not.
Pakistan had luckily escaped the defeat in the first test match. Pakistan was in the bad situation during the first two sessions of today's match. The third session was lucky for them. Pakistan players won't be able to score 300 runs if the pitch behaves in the same way tomorrow. I think that New Zealand will win this test match. I'm not expecting to see the draw again.
I also think that New Zealand will win today's match, Because New Zealand still have four wickets left and Tom Blunwell and Ish Sodhi are on strike. If we total the runs of these two players in the last match, they would have gone over 100.  So I think if they perform better in this match then New Zealand's total run will be a big score in this match too.  And what you already mentioned is the pitch but same so I think the possibility of Pakistan losing this time will be more and the possibility of New Zealand winning is much more.
The winning chance for New Zealand is high, but something unexpected happening in between can change the match as Pakistan is in the Home Ground. New Zealand have already scored 300+ runs. In tomorrow sessions they'll try to score more 100 runs and keep the pressure high on Pakistan. In this test series the chance for draw is high than Pakistan winning the match.
430  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Casino on: January 02, 2023, 10:10:39 PM
You can do more than gamble there you know, you can also make money on their tokens.

So are we talking about the casino which has its own tokens like Fun token or Owl token?

Well, if this is the subject then I must say that these casinos have an added advantage as you can invest in these casinos and have an opportunity to earn passive income by just holding them. As the casino grows, the prices of these token will rise too and hence gamblers can earn money only by holding the gambling site token.

What other advantage? You're investing your money at risk, so I wouldn't call it an advantage because you might as well invest it in more reliable investment assets.

Many gamblers visit casinos just to get a shot of the happiness hormone. And in my opinion these people are the majority.
With gambling as well as investment on gambling sites we're taking risks. To the risks we take, we'll be rewarded. In one way it is an advantage, because using the native token lets us increase the holding. We don't know how effective is the market of the respective token. It is a gamble for the futures.
431  Other / Archival / Re: What casinos are safe on: January 02, 2023, 10:03:23 PM
No one can guarantee for any casino that can be 100% trusted and this casino can give you 100% profit but if you ask for some reputable casino then I can suggest you some casino site which have huge reputation and they are a big casino company
Roobet
stake.com
Duelbits
Livecasino
you can check those site and you can do your own research for investing on it. hope you will not able to consider it as bad

I want to add Rollbit on the list, they might be new compare to the sites on your list but it's still a reputable casino, they don't venture on just casino stuff but they've explore on NFT and crypto focused stuff too. Yes, it's a good thing to keep in mind that no casinos are safe, overall, if you play on their site with your money it's still them that has full control of anything.
I want to add PrimeDice, FortuneJack, Freebitco.in, Sportsbet.io and Bitcasino.io, because those are definitely great online casinos and they are safe too.

But I would like to warn the OP that choosing an honest and safe to play platform is not enough to be assured that you will not lose a huge amount of money to gambling. Yes, first of all you should choose a trustworthy platform, but in addition to this you should never risk more money than you can afford to lose.
Not that bad of addition, I tried most of these casinos in the past too and didn't even have any issue playing with them, no hassles whatsoever. It's always been the same notion that keeps being repeated and I hope newbies try to keep that in mind first rather than just rushing on things like blind gambling without thinking the risks involved.
Good lists were provided. It is the responsibility of the user to identify whether his expectations were available with these platforms. I've used three of the mentioned platforms and those are really good to use with not much of difference between the platforms. Just the UI variation and the transaction varies.
432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: According To me Ethereum Looks Weak on: January 02, 2023, 09:59:32 PM
Don't expect much from the market, just move with the flow. Ethereum stands next to bitcoin in all means. Whether it is growth, crash or positive move ethereum completely depends on the bitcoin market. Ethereum isn't weak, it is moving based on the market movement.

Expecting $500-$700 is good, but the same should not let you miss the investment opportunity as no one knows when the market recovers. Months back price of ethereum droped around $900, by the time none invested and later when it bounced everyone were on the rush to buy ethereum.
433  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My First Bitcoin on the New Year Day 2023. on: January 02, 2023, 09:52:25 PM
Congratulations on the purchase and you're on the right track. Try to keep it up with regular buying according to your ability. What you accumulate throughout the year will give the best return in the upcoming year. Try to limit your unwanted spending and start buying more and more bitcoin. Also try to learn about the different possibilities that could help in increasing your holdings. Moreover learn about the technology which is a must.
434  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: THE RIGHT TIME TO MOVE IN on: January 02, 2023, 09:49:12 PM
As we anticipate another Bitcoin halving, when is the right to buy in and stock up Bitcoin in order not to be left behind in the next bull market?
The right time is now. The simple reason being that for a coin that once rose to $69k but it's currently trading at $16k+ is a giveaway. Anyone who's still dilly-dallying on whether to buy or not isn't doing themselves any good at all. I would rather DCA on Bitcoin than keep expecting that price will crash more and hit bottom and then miss out of buying it. So, OP should buy now and don't foot drag on it.
We've got the halving to take place in the upcoming year. For the same we're supposed to be prepared. What we invest now will surely bring good profit during the halving. Just think of the leading billionaires who have a big difference between the portfolio value during the days of bitcoin at $69k+ and at present. These differences will turn on the positive side and now it is the right time as we doesn't want to have patience for much longer time period.
435  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will it be profitable for the business? on: January 02, 2023, 09:44:54 PM
How about you conduct a survey to know how many of your customers would be willing to pay in Bitcoin? This would let you know if there's a market for Bitcoin payment option with the service you're providing

If at the end it proves that there is, all you need to do is to use the most suited payment gateway for your business, this would make volatility not to be an issue at all, since the payments would be converted to fiat instantly.
Making a survey will let us know the people's mind. For bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as payment we doesn't need much of process to be done. Just a wallet creation is more than enough. So, when we've planned of adding payment access just make a gateway. It is upto the users whether to use it or not.
436  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would you do if you get a time machine now? on: January 02, 2023, 09:41:30 PM
Being in reality is good than assuming of the time machine. Myself will go back to the days where I spend my holdings on different needs. I'll take back the spending and this will make my portfolio stronger. Probably that is more than enough for me to have a successful living. People always look for a way to make money, and myself too does the same but in a different manner.

Will this happen in reality as that of the movies on time machine that takes people to the past.
437  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you have 1 bitcoin? on: January 01, 2023, 11:59:46 PM
Holding more than one Bitcoin equivalent cryptocurrency, but not the full one Bitcoin. Of course, a good part if my portfolio continue to hold Bitcoin. Because I don't want to put all my eggs in one basket. So invest in some strong altcoins that will rise alongside Bitcoin. The year of accumulation was last year. So, yeah, I made some money and bought some coins, including Bitcoin. I'm going to keep it until I get a good profit from it. Even if the market falls further, I will not sell.
The year of accumulation is predicted to continue. Most of the users have got the same thinking as yours. Everyone doesn't like to have everything invested on bitcoin. Having a diversified portfolio is good, but this have got additional risk than having everything in bitcoin. Because in recent months we've encountered big number of cryptocurrencies which are predicted to be strong have ended.

Whether it is bitcoin or altcoin, we need the patience to experience the good profit out of the investment. For now the market is moving within $17k and this can drop down or move high. It is our responsibility to act wise and book the profit at the right time.
438  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cashless Gambling, your thought? on: January 01, 2023, 10:52:56 PM
If this regulation is carried out by the government then it is something that everyone who plays gambling must consider, because at this time there are many who still hide their identities when making bets, and the government does this to protect and see those who really don't deserve it. make bets like minors, and easily detect money laundering, of course this is a good way for some people, so cashless gambling will reduce people to make bets for certain reasons, and later all involved in gambling will definitely be taxed of course this is the main target of the government.

The government does cashless gambling for the sole purpose of milking the gambling industry.  It is clear in the article that the main purpose of cashless gambling is to implement extra charges on casinos and prevent money laundering.  There is no mention of the said purpose of filtering gamblers and implementing responsible gambling through moderating the gambler's expenses on the casino via their bank.

It is more on government profit than government concern over their citizen.
The governments have understood well about the casino business as the one that doesn't have any seasonal business. It is the industry that stays on profit all the time. To make money from them is the real reason for which different measures were taken. Money laundering through casinos were very minimal compared to that happening through different other platforms. It is to be noted, the governments need to prioritise the welfare of the citizens than the government's earning.

If they Retain wickets than there is some possibility of winning this game otherwise this is a sure win for Brisbane Heat.
The match is in a really interesting situation and i thought Jordan Silk will take Sydney Sixers to victory but Michael Neser took an incredible catch in the boundary juggling multiple times even going over the boundary and it is an incredible catch that might change the match around.
Sydney Sixers need 18 runs in the final over and with 8 wickets down Brisbane Heat should win this match.
An excellent match was seen between Brisbane Heat vs Sydney Sixers. Brisbane Heat set a big target of 224 runs which the opponent Sydney Sixers were unable to take take the run. Though they had a hope throughout the match, they lost by just 15 runs. In favor of Brisbane Heat
Josh Brown and McSweeney managed to score big run on the contrary Sydney Sixers while James Vince and Jordan Silk both scored 41 runs. Many cricket fans feel comfortable watching such high scoring T20 matches.
The match would've gone even closer if the wicket Sydney Sixers players were able to withstand wickets. In the last five overs 17th over had 12 runs and 19th over had 15 runs. Other overs altogether brought 15 runs. On an average it is good scoring, but the same isn't enough to make the match a win for Sydney Sixers.
440  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers that don't understand basic gambling concepts. on: January 01, 2023, 10:33:57 PM
When we never mind about the win we'll experience good winning. This is true and the money making mind is the key for the gambling house to win. When our mind thinks not to loss, we'll be in pressure, what we play won't be our real play. We make lot many calculation and does it to empty the wallet.

When people have the mind to play for fun, many gambling platforms will go bankrupt. In all means the players need the patience as well as the emotional control to stay strong against the Casinos.
