421  Economy / Economics / Re: The Risks and Rewards of Cryptocurrencies on: November 24, 2019, 12:29:33 PM
The higher the risk, the higher the reward. That is the name of the game for cryptocurrencies. In order to make a lot of money, you need to take a lot of risk. All of those people who loses their money in the market are misinformed with the opportunity that the cryptocurrency has, they thought that cryptocurrencies are all high reward without risk.
The term of higher risk and higher rewards can be coined with coins that can be trusted and there are a very few number of coins in the market that can be trusted and then there are token projects that are like hit and miss, earlier people used to wait to dump everything once the market opens and now majority even does not get listed in the market.
422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this really a good plan? on: November 23, 2019, 08:29:06 AM
Few of my colleagues told me they quit bounty because many new projects are finding it very difficult to reach soft cap and those who manages to reach softcap ends up listing on ridiculous exchanges because of listing fee, a part of me feels like they are right because if a new project fails to aim for top exchange its game over,  the question now is why promoting new projects then?
The main problem here is that majority of the bounty hunters does not have a clue what they are advertising and so is the reason you tend to end up promoting scam projects and even if the project has some good promising stuff you tend to trust the team as they are able to respond to every query and the purpose of the project is not to list the coins in top exchanges but to produce results and if that happens then it will automatically get listed.
423  Other / Meta / Re: The Bitcoin Forum is 10 years old! on: November 23, 2019, 03:52:01 AM
Conducting a meetup is a great idea and celebrate the 10th year birthday of bitcointalk. Let's do the party.( just my thought)
Many will be worried about privacy and want to hide themselves from the public eyes but this is a good concept and i am willing to come if it is conducted in a place i am residing.

Happy anniversary  Smiley
424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Year 2020 expectations on: November 22, 2019, 04:41:54 PM
My expectations for Crypto in the year is quite simple. First, I expect regulations for Crypto Cryptocurrencies becoming a thing. Facebook' s Calibra would launch and would bring more adoption to the Crypto space. Twitter, alongside other top firms  like IBM, Microsoft etc will get more crypto friendly. For Bitcoin, I expect a successful halving event plus a massive bull run to go along with it.
The regulations is coming and expect some stagnation when the market is regulated and hence i am not keeping any high hopes about a massive rally right after the halving like we used to see in the past, we might see more centralized coins if Libra is regulated but it is highly unlikely we will see that as there is a lot of hurdles for that to be regulated.
425  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you use FB's Libra? on: November 21, 2019, 06:45:15 PM
In my opinion, the actions of Facebook were initially stupid since they announced the initially problematic project, because not only many governments of different states, but also many cryptocurrency users do not fertilize such a project as Libra too much.
Facebook is a public listed company and if some of the top executives think that they wanted a big news for the market to become active because the digital currency wave is going the rounds and little did they knew that they will be getting this much heat from the government.

The biggest thing that revolted me was that Facebook will have all the personal data of users and their data on financial transactions.
If you are using anything for free expect them to do something to make a profit even by selling your data.
426  Economy / Economics / Re: World debt and currency reset on: November 21, 2019, 05:08:46 PM
If we reach one stage that all fiat currency value if going to be none then there will be no more new fiat because we already found the decentralized money.
If you are aware that the printing money does not mean that the bank or government can print money without any repercussion, in normal circumstance they would print 4% of the total gross domestic Production and if the policy makers or government is dumb enough to print the currency without any limits, then you will find situations you saw in Venezuela and Zimbabwe and not everyone is attracted to decentralize currency.
427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Andy Ruiz vs Anthony Joshua II on: November 20, 2019, 09:06:30 AM
There was indeed a lot of billionaire from the Arab nations which will also like to add more money to their wealth cause sport investment is among the quick scheme.
The Arabs are investing in sports for a long time, they own majority of the shares in Manchester City and Arsenal as well as other clubs and they completely own, PSG and club Malaga, you will see many big time investments from Asian countries and Middle Eastern countries in sports around the world and that is going on for many years.

With that been said, i dont see any reason why fans should underwhelmed because the hardest part of the fighting stadium which Joshua and Ruiz will use are already completed.
They are known to built exotic eye catchy buildings and they will create an entire stadium to conduct the event and they are planning to attract sports and tourism in a large scale.
428  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Trading competition good way to earn money? on: November 19, 2019, 07:24:41 PM
As we all know now these days so many trading competitions arranged by exchanges,
i just wondering is this a way of earning?
i personally think that this technique is used by exchanges to make volume of particular coin or token, I'm not sure if there are other purposes for arrangement trading competitions.
These are all marketing techniques used by exchanges as the earnings they get is through trading fees and if there is a competition they think that they will have more users trading to win the competition and thereby they will be having the profit and so is the case with gambling sites who has wagging competitions and it is so successful that there are many users participating in those and it is a win situation for them.
429  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you use betting tips? on: November 19, 2019, 05:30:45 PM
From my personal experience I used, I paid about $ 70 a month, and I got a ticket every 2 days with odds 3-4, I was not satisfied, I guessed poorly (more precisely that tipser), out of 15 tickets, the hits were 7. which is very bad for that odds. I lost a lot on that, so I'm interested in your experience?
My advice is to never pay for tips and wage a bet, there is no fun in doing that, if you are a fan of the sport you will be having the knowledge about the game and make sure that you only wage a bet on the match you know and do not go with other people's predictions, everything i s available including the past performance and if you are having an algorithm to calculate the present form then you will have an idea about the match and make sure you monitor everything about the sport you are waging including injury concerns.
430  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: November 19, 2019, 04:06:22 PM
For all the fans who wants to see the match in youtube here is the link and it was an epic match Roger Federer vs Pete Sampras: Wimbledon fourth round, 2001.
That was an epic match and thank you for sharing the match as i have not seen this match and it was a dream match considering how Federer went on to create an historic career breaking many records and i guess this was his breakout performance as he was really young when he faced Pete Sampras who had a legendary career himself.
431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you become a better or a worse person after you started gambling on: November 19, 2019, 07:36:04 AM
Are you a much better person now that you are gambling or you turn up worse after you started gambling, we are talking about the character here, there's people who became worse after starting gambling, while some people become a good decision-maker and had more control because of gambling so which version are you.
As long as i am not having a personality disorder i am the same person and even if i have some issues i cannot judge myself, the people surrounding me should tell that and no one said anything about it as i am not an avid gambler, does a few in sports in soccer and tennis and if there is any interesting match that i watch and that is all i do and not obsessed with casino.
432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETHEREUM is only potentially $ 250 in November. on: November 19, 2019, 12:54:45 AM
if talking about Ethereum prices have not skyrocketed again it might still be part of the process, and we need to wait and see 2020 later.  I believe the breakthrough of ETH 2.0 is one important factor to be able to drive the price of ETH to the moon.
Even if the ETH 2.0 is released what is so special to think that the price will rise to the moon, i am not expecting any rapid changes in the ETH price nor i am not expecting it to moon ever again, it had is wonderful rallying times in the past and those who were able to make the money and got out then it is fun, if not the price of ETH determines on the price of bitcoin.
433  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: November 17, 2019, 10:49:27 PM
Finally the dramatic tournament ends and we have a young champion in Stefanos Tsitsipas and it is a really fought first and third set and when it came to the match point Stefanos Tsitsipas came out on top and Theim played well throughout the tournament and i thought he will have an edge because of his experience but Stefanos Tsitsipas played an excellent game.
434  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Qualifying on: November 17, 2019, 06:12:19 PM
CR99.
Portugal is at the final stage this was against the odds 2 games ago.
I happy so he can try to win the balon d'or and also try to pass the record of most goal scored on the national team, he is at -9.
LEGEND
I am lucky to watch his matches during my generation, i have not seen some of the old legends live but i was able to see Messi and CR7 in action and the memories they gave are many and he just need 10 more goals to level the all time international goal scorer in football history and it is not a small feet and i doubt we will see players like these in the future, just pure goal scoring machines.
435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What's your price prediction of binance coin? on: November 17, 2019, 05:21:36 PM
many people predict binance coins will develop very easily, as evidenced by the price of binance coins that make all time high. even bitcoin alone hasn't been able to make new all time highs. I think the 2020 binance can hit up to $ 2000.
To predict valuation like this you need to have a minimum use case and standards, do you think that BNB is so unique that there is no other project out here and everyone will invest their money into it  Roll Eyes. Apart from bitcoin there will be dozens of coins and it will come and go and the evidence you saw till now is because CZ has the funds to manipulate the market.
436  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: November 17, 2019, 03:39:38 PM
Tournament like this are more interesting where you have groups and from their go for play offs.
One of the best tournament this year with a lot of surprises and i do not have a clue how the final will go as both players played some outstanding match in this tournament and defeated some legends and both are having full confidence going into this final and i am going to watch this match as a fan but i am expecting Thiem to win.
437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Qualifying on: November 17, 2019, 01:11:12 PM
My best international break so far this, I'd say. Next to no upsets at all, I was very lucky to have been able avoid the Netherlands yesterday.
I was expecting goals but both were not able to score a single goal.

I'm going with England and Portugal (-1 Handicap) and Turkey for 2x+ Odds parlay.
I'll quite not sure of the England chances though, they had a flawless game against Montenegro on friday, but I think Kosovo might cause them a lot of problems.
England will be resting their goal scoring striker and hence i am not expecting that much goals today but the average of 3.5 goals is impressive and i am expecting Kosovo to score a goal in this match.
Luxembourg vs Portugal, will CR7 look for another hat trick  Cheesy, expecting over 2.5 goals from Portugal
Andorra vs Turkey, not expecting much goals in this match but Turkey is the favorite to win the match.
438  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have You Counted Or Estimate All Your Losses And.... on: November 16, 2019, 06:35:48 PM
I am a gambler but I did not regret losing money as I ensure that I only gamble what I can afford to lose.
People will only regret when they go beyond their limit because they loss control and bad consequences happens.
When ever i gamble i think the same and i am gambling with bitcoin for a long time and in the past i never thought it was a big deal but if you take into account and see the figures the amount i lost is really huge considering the price of bitcoin right now. I do not regret when i lost those big amounts but then if you look back it is a huge amount considering the current valuation.

439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bank of Crypto? on: November 16, 2019, 05:56:43 PM
Maybe it can happen but it is impossible right now in my view. l know There are a lot of Bank, which accepted crypto and want to creat their own crypto. But we are not talking about that, we are talking about Bank of Crypto.
Is there a lot of banks that accept crypto currency  Shocked, which banks are you talking about and i am in this market for a long time and following all the news and i am not aware of banks that are already accepting any crypto currency, some banks are planning to implement blockchain and it is not a surprise and they might even create their centralized cryptocurrency in the future.
440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top Cryptocurrencies to Invest in 2020 on: November 16, 2019, 04:28:14 PM
It's good that the last quarter atleast gives us hope to still like 2019 since the prices increases unlike last year. My top 5 will be BTC,xlm, link, bnb and ETH or XRP. I just hope that halving, eth 2.0 will great impact next year.
I am holding some top coins in the market that are in the market for a long time as i was mining for a while and bitcoin halving will boost the bitcoin market and along with the rally i expect the top coins to move along with it but i am not having high hopes about ETH 2.0 as they might face more issues in the future too and i do not consider it as a currency Tongue.
