421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Starknet airdrop February 20 on: February 15, 2024, 04:37:02 PM
My wallets were also not included in the airdrop due to the $100 limit. But the projects are trying to weed out as many wallets as possible, so they come up with new conditions. I have been using this ecosystem for a long time and have a lot of activities and interactions with different smart contracts there, but this time I had no luck.
Yeah mate, I think thats a lot of complained even some got boosted with their high TVL cobtributions but werent given allocation due to lack of balance in the wallet. Well thats not good provided that what matter is the task did inside the platform. Maybe Im just lucky I left some eth thats why I am eligible.
422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Starknet airdrop February 20 on: February 14, 2024, 06:52:48 PM
This airdrop has a lot of recipients on two different networks. I had an argent-x wallet and I cannot qualify for other nominations except Starknet users, I need to find it and check if I will receive an airdrop. If you apply for other nominations, then you should receive a higher award.
Well didnt apply much at all. But I am indeed eligible for being an immutable user for my old address. Well didnt expect a dozen airdrop seen that wallet isnt active anymore. But I am amazed how others bagged a lot of tokens especially those who contributed via emcp and github contributors. Well still thankful though that I got some most of my colleague and friends received nothing inspite of doing some activity on starknet.
423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Nibiru Chain Engagement Airdrop on: February 14, 2024, 05:46:56 PM
Nibiru Chain launches a social engagement airdrop. If you are doing a twitter campaign or got a twitter account dont fade on this one. They completed sales on coinlist and their alloc on airdrop is quite juicy. Also you are gonna use cosmos wallet here maybe keplr for their own chain.

This is a free task for everyone. Sharing the link of their announcement.

https://twitter.com/NibiruChain/status/1755233900199297133?t=1TO2abCvjf3vCw--HZ5ThA&s=19

Its up to everyone to participate or not. Just sharing one of my grind airdrop (for free)

Note that you will need a Starknet wallet to claim your STRK through the Provisions portal. If you have a Starknet wallet, make sure you have the latest version installed and that your account is up to date.
Important: Upon the launch of Provisions on February 20th, 2024, all fees for claiming STRK via the Provisions portal will be covered by the Starknet Foundation. This is true for claiming via the official Provisions portal only.[/i]

https://medium.com/@StarknetFoundation/introducing-the-starknet-provisions-program-05d03ce13970
Ive just read about the provision, I got a wallet eligible for starknet and another one for eth mainnet. Does I still need to create another one for the eth mainnet airdrop eligible or can I use my starknet wallet for claiming also the one Ive got on eth mainnet? This is good to know that they will shoulder fees on their end. Does it means that claiming on eth will be on them.
425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is tor wallet is the next metamask? on: February 14, 2024, 04:16:54 PM
I thought youll said rabby wallet I might agreed with you but based on the details shared above. I wouldnt even trusting to import my keys in there. Also is there any feedback on the wallet or product already. I wanted to see it first and since Im active on social media I will definitely find this if ever this gotta be a headline but none so a big big NO!
426  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why are people getting scared to Trade on: February 13, 2024, 08:34:38 AM
Lately, I have noticed in most crypto groups I'm in,  many crypto enthusiasts are increasingly participating in airdrops and crypto events organized by exchanges or project developers to earn USDT or tokens. Is it because these "people" are afraid to trade or they do not believe they can make money from trading? Don't get me wrong, I understand that this can also generate passive income, but what I'm curious about is whether these activities truly yield significant profits or not.
Well its nothing wrong on participating on airdrops especially if its gonna give you a lot of potential free money or gains. Well id also do trading but simultaneously I am hunting potential airdrops for farming. Why? You generated income with that without much capital needed or indeed if needed the profits that were gonna ripped from that is maybe sometimes more than doing trading. Its not that they/we are afraid but we prefer airdrop as one of the driving force of our profitability.
427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any upcoming gems like Celestia? on: February 13, 2024, 03:56:31 AM
Now, I don't think I'm gonna buy TIA now as it's value has gone through the roof with its current MC over 3B. My question, what new crypto projects would you recommend to buy in the coming months to get something similar to TIA? So basically, a) fresh/new technology, great fundamentals b) market cap not too big (FDV is another story) c) can be used to potentially qualify you for new airdrops, etc?

At this point, I am looking at projects like Starknet, Polyhedra, Blast, Taiko, Eigenlayer, Wormhole, Mode, Drift Protocol, zkSync. Your thoughts? Sorry for the wall of text lol..
Well if you have extra fund then theres no harm on staking some tia for a lot will definitely absorbed tia hype on modular for potential airdrop.

My suggestion that currently mid to low valuation is pyth and dym. These two have common with tia in terms of tech and marketcap when tia still on early stage. I am currently doing some of your mentioned projects but not all like some whose got endef like worm, not sure if Im gonna get eliigible with that as Ive only done few trasanctions and they already did the snapshot.

Dont also sleep on some dapp projects that utilize eigenlayer points. Like puffer and renzo, also the good thing is you needed eth for this which unlikely to go down due to lsdfi activity.
428  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Financial advise from a self acclaimed crypto investment professional. on: February 12, 2024, 04:13:19 PM
The advice is thrash, most of all this people or self acclaimed crypto investment professionals can kill the dreams of those trying to invest in bitcoin because they want to find source to promote other shit coin which is not worth paying attention. That why if you want to invest in crypto seek proper guidance and be informed with the right information. This forum has been a source of help especially to those who invest in bitcoin.
Well dont buy when they keep shilling it probably they have a huge bag and keep selling it by agressive marketing and once they reached their target price they would in unload their stock and dump the price. Most influencers are likely to shill their bags and when everybody buying already thats where they sold their shares.
429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which hacks on Crypto projects do you know? on: February 12, 2024, 12:15:43 PM
Every crypto project would want to learn from this and see how to further secure their platform. What are the popular hacks you know, your opinion, and links to verify them.
Would it be so easier to use search functions and just direct find a post with topics about hacking and their links. You can either do it here or even on Google youll find a lot of previous event of hacking and its details.

Well sometimes hacking or hackers targetinf big protocols that has weak or exploitable bugs on which the mistakes arent from hackers but wirh the dev since they didnt anticipate those errors.
430  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I want to know more about Wallet address poisoning on: February 12, 2024, 09:03:13 AM
Well the trick is if you dont know the tokens then dont try to attempt claiming or selling. You knew that there are many scammers some will even sent stablecoins that worth a lot but in reality its fake. Its quite annoying but what we can do these scammers like to spam these tokens for anyone who will fall for them. But simply ignore of them. Good thing some explorer flagged them as scam already. Dont believe on its value cause they might jabe a way to make it appears like its valuable.
431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ERC-404 the New Narrative? on: February 11, 2024, 06:07:10 PM
It's an experimental token standard, no audit yet from what I found out on the web, and its objective is toBridge the gap between fungible tokens (ERC-20) and (ERC-721) NFTs.  It's already gathered support from Blur, opensea and erc404 tokens can be swapped using Bitget wallet. Let's see how it goes though, maybe some person's have a better explanation to this and share their views.
Well yeah I still needed some videos or more threadors to understand the goal of erc404. But by the hypes going around it seems gonna pull up some crazy gains at all. Well not really kinda a fomo guy but at least if ever I did I wanna learn whats the use case of it first before jumping into the train.
432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cardano vs Ethereum on: February 11, 2024, 05:19:09 PM
Do you think Cardano will replace Ethereum?
In terms of tech? I'm not sure, but the ranking in marketcap will likely impossible. Eth has many users and still increasing though. Even the gas fee are high many prefer to use it due to huge user base on many dapps and third party defi projects. Its quite dumb to use eth due to its fee but what can we do if almost all goof projects reside there. The possibility of replacing eth by someone could be manageable by solana but would it happened really soon? Not so sure.
433  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trading or Long term on: February 11, 2024, 04:13:31 PM
Day trading involves more techniques, self discipline and rational decision making.
Which do you prefer and think is better
I think depends on one capability. Technical or day trading needs more knowledge and some parameters to be able to profit off. While long term holding is simply buying low or keeps buying and selling in a long period of time. Sometimes it took years before someone sold his coins or tokens but the profit is huge while day trader have qouta to earn daily. Im not a day trader but more like a swing trader that sold off when it hits my target.

Well if this is real you have done it by now. Imagine the value of bitcoin you have if ever you telling the truth. Also its not good to troll or why would you asked how to unlock those so casually here. Its better if you seek help ot service on professional one thats offering services like this. Passwords also doenst important you could unlock that using your private key or seed phrase.
435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don’t you think BRC20 tokens need more spotlight? on: February 11, 2024, 02:25:02 PM
BRC20 tokens should deserve more attention and recognition in the future. Since they provide a new way of creating and transferring value on the Bitcoin blockchain, thus opening up new possibilities for the web3 ecosystem given that it has its roots in this coin originated from bitcoin design. so don't you think this deserves more attention?
Well I dont know if this helps in the blockchain or clogged it more. But more projects are into on these hypes. As of now I think many have release different brc20 and more utilization on bitcoin network but these projects also harm in the congestion of the network.

They only been trading on some exchange and marketplace but does they have some useful on the real world? Or even helps bitcoin? Still have a lot of questions about it though.
436  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which sort of investor are you? on: February 10, 2024, 02:20:09 PM
To me that is not correct Trading is all about your proficiency and apprehending and how you control your frights and tolerance, and I think your tough labor amounts to something a lot too.
Well its easier said than done. Why? Most users can say that trading is all about control and discipline but in reality we cant really applied as much as we think on what we can do to be able to profit on that. Well trading is more than just a basic computation and prediction that needs suitable knowledge. I know a degen that can earn without much pressure on trading.
437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A good time to buy Aptos on: February 10, 2024, 12:25:36 PM
The reason why this coin is in this price is due the the series of unlocks and release of previously frozen funds for developers, investors and for the foundation. The release don't mean all of it would be sold but it certainly increases the liquidity of the coin.
The release took place in december, january and there are planned ones in february. so, I believe it's a good time to accumulate on aptos when they are below $10 as they could be the next one to hit $100.
Isnt it because of dead blockchain? Im not a fan of Aptos since there are not so many dapps working on the network. Ive been following their release last year and they dont have much impacted on some users. The reason Im thinking why they retain the price is due to holder since there are not much retail holders but VCs and private investors. But based on marketcap and circulating, isnt it quite expensive?
438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your take on Social Media platforms on the Web 3? on: February 10, 2024, 11:29:40 AM
Why does it then need web3 / cryptocurrencies support?
Ask yourself very honestly how many users your platform would have if there was no way to earn money there.
Of course gotta be low. Maybe the best answer is for practical reason like they needed money and if some social apps or web has something privilege about it of course they gonna grab that. I like facebook and twitter as it is before but since monetization are introduced for everyone, we can see some content creator that rises sometimes you can noticed that they just made it foe engagement of course its paid.
439  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC or Love on Valentine's day. What's your pick? on: February 09, 2024, 07:07:52 PM
Well valentines is only once a year and bitcoin trading you have 364 days to do it how about devote that one day to enjoy or celebrate it. Even though tou dont have someone special it doesnt mean Valentines can be celebrated with friends or family or even relatives. The topics kinda topic about choosing btc or valentines date.
440  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Isn’t it better late than sorry? on: February 09, 2024, 06:12:14 PM
Here I am, not a single Bitcoin tide to my name, am not so proud about it especially, being here where I just have the vague idea that, the members here just might have so much. I guess what I’m looking out for is a sense of security and some comfort that, it’s really better late than sorry.

Help me not to be sorry!
Well dont overthink even if you have or had a rough experience with bitcoin. You must overcome those and start anew. Well not everyone got a good start with it specially those who thought that the price might dump or didnt see it pushing to ceiling. Itsnnot about if we enter on the right time or not but learn how to ride and engage with market without much confusion or fear about bitcoin tech. Im not sorry for selling some at least I be able to boost my porfolio witht he help of bitcoin.
