So your mental illness is caused by life?

For a couple days now, I'm having an issue with the Windows QT wallet. I just upgraded to the latest release and am still stuck. The wallet is successfully unlocked for POS, but it says I'm not staking because I don't have mature coins, and the next block matures in 0 hours. I've been waiting 0 hours, for about 24 hours, LOL.  The only thing that recently changed was moving my coins to/from an exchange; prior to that transfer, I'd successfully staked 2 blocks in a couple weeks, so I know it's "working" in that regard.

Is the fix here to blow out the PayCon folder under AppData (less of course, wallet.dat) and re-sync everything? Or did I miss something obvious.

Thanks...

EDIT: I think I still have a few hours before these coins mature in the wallet again; still odd that it's been showing 0 hours. I even re-synced the time with a NIST server to be sure.

There was no specific changes to the Staking since the last release so I would recommend to wait a day as it looks like your Coins aren't quite mature enough to begin to Stake.

The Staking time is only an estimate and reports as 0 if your Coins aren't mature enough.

The coins did mature. It just seemed odd to me that it was "0" for so long and I appreciate your explanation as I've only been using this wallet for a few weeks. As I recall the first time I moved some coins to this wallet, the "countdown" was accurate, but my recollection could be off. At any rate, all's well now.

Awesome, great to hear.

Shout me an address and I'll help make your wallet a little fatter.

I hope cryptsy also gets life in prison

PS: I know Crestington is a fucking loser I'm gonna take the ferry to Surrey sometime and slap him with a wet fish...

PPS: I'm fully willing to be called a Scammer as much as you all like but the fact is I owe under $1500 worth of Debts and I make that on average every month so....

PPPS: This thread is 2122 pages long and nothing has happened to Garza at all. This thread basically does nothing just like all of suchmoon's threads. PPPPS: What does the SEC / UK Action Fraud even do? The customers never get their money back it just goes back into the corrupt Government so worth it  Roll Eyes

425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: September 09, 2015, 10:27:21 AM
Kind of slow on the up-take ... we all know Garza ran off with a lot of the money!   However a lot of innocent people were dragged through the mud in your thread.   That is where I lost my respect for you.  Not for trying to expose the truth but for not caring how it was done.  Things like digging through personal emails ... it isn't even legal let alone ethical and it was completely unnecessary.   Sorry but you lost your way and it seems you don't even realize it.

You seem to be under impression that if my name is at the top of thread then everything in it must be my doing? Smiley
Huh?  It was your second thread on the topic and you could have moderated it.   At least you realize that some things were over the line.  Wink

What the fuck are you even talking about here? I'm not a moderator and the thread was never self-moderated. You want to attack me personally for some imaginary shit - feel free but please create a new thread for it. STOP DERAILING A SCAM THREAD WITH ANOTHER SCAM FFS.

You had a choice when you created the threads.   You could have spoke out against the abusive posts too.   Maybe you did, I certainly didn't read all 2100 pages of that second thread, so I'm sorry if I just missed it.   I just think you used to be objective.   Now you just seem to enjoy creating a storm and chaos.    Take that 6 THs claim about scrypt.cc for example, you are way too smart to make that kind of mistake.   Then weaker minds just follow you.   It is hard to believe you aren't doing it on purpose.    You just have way too much experience to not know what you are doing.

Granted this isn't about the validity of scrypt.cc.   There isn't any question that there are serious problems at scrypt.cc.   There is a lot of possibilities though as to what is really going on.   I just know a lot of people at scrypt.cc are trapped right now.   I think those people could use some objective information, not just endless rants.   Maybe some objective information will help people get out.   It is just my impression you would rather see the maximum number of people burned.   I don't feel the same way.

For the record this isn't a scam thread.  This is a thread that was started by scrypt.cc and people are just taking over.    Threads like this are making bitcointalk.org a real joke.

Why do you invest in Ponzi schemes before checking the validity of the claims being made and then defend it when other people actually do their homework? Doesn't really matter if it's 850 GHS or 6 THS, still means if they had even 850 GHS they could fork LiteCoin.

There is no "what if admin is doing this with his mining?"

There is only proving mining being taken place, ALL mining past and present.

Not being able to prove that makes it a scam but you continue to try to defend it because you have a vested interest.

The goal isn't trying to help people get out, the goal is to stop new people from entering.
426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: iGotSpots Scam Dev on: September 09, 2015, 09:49:45 AM
well i guess that depends on your definition of a scam...

did spots 'promise' staking contracts then cancel them citing the fine print? yes

is that a scam? no

is that enough to get your ass kicked? yes.

did spots launch a bunch of coins? yes

did these coins all fail? yes

did these coins all get swapped to a coin with different parameters that changed the economic? yes

is that a darkcoin scam? no

is that enough to get your ass kicked? yes

i think spoetnik the problem you are facing is this is not so much as the pirate scam  as much as a day to day scam paying someones wages.

new definition of scam = majority of the sheeple/'users' end up fucked in the end. yes. and very much so. spots is no dummy and nor would you find anyone to say otherwise. his ambulance chasing has raised the bar for what pieces of shit can get away with on these forums and to not call these fucks out is just as bad as turning a blind eye to pirate type schemes. staying 'neutral' in such matters only diminishes what respect I had for you.

You forgot to mention that there was a major vulnerability in Bucks and Spots ignored it, called it FUD, said it was fixed when it wasn't, and then lied about saying it was fixed in order to try to cover it up.

@Spoetnik

This is probably the most definitive piece of evidence in the thread, plus you missed all of Spots posts he deleted from this thread (everything that was not quoted).

I'm still not sure why you guys are mad at me when the multipool had the price to nearly 10k within three days of being launched (yes, quadrupled the price in under a week) before Ricky, RoboRob, and vegasguy started using modified wallets to dump on you lol we were moving it in the right direction; the people FUDing me are the ones who dumped on you and now are talking shit because they made their money already, not me. I'll eat losses all day, I could not possibly care less  Kiss

How come you said the exploit was fixed when it wasn't?

Also, the root of why people are FUDing is not discussing peoples criticisms without attacking people. Maybe you don't like what someone is saying but to post peoples PM's just to try to tear them down when you made them angry in the first place sets a bad precedent. If you make enough people angry then they will find a way to tear you down too, this is what lead us here.

I made no comments about it at all, quit putting words into my mouth. I still don't care what the issue even is/was, I'm writing these coins off as a loss instead of dumping on people

You discussed it on the C-Cex chat box about 3 weeks ago, you said you fixed the rumored exploit in an update that did not require a hardfork. I asked you about the exploit, what it was and how it was fixed and you said that you could not tell me because it could be used against other Coins. I just assumed you were talking shit because had you actually fixed a time exploit then it would require a hardfork and you don't care about other Coins as you've threatened to destroy many Coins (Like HYP or attacking the TEETH spinoff).

So my question once again, why did you tell everyone the exploit was fixed or didn't exist when it wasn't?

Edit: If you are going to post your PM's that VegasGuy sent you then why not also post your replies since you are skewing perception to only be in your favor.

Ok, seeing you are such a fan of posting conversations...

How come you said the exploit was fixed when it wasn't?

I made no comments about it at all, quit putting words into my mouth. I still don't care what the issue even is/was, I'm writing these coins off as a loss instead of dumping on people

Orly, no comment about it at all you say?

[2015-07-22 06:07:47] iGotSpots: @Crestington, that vulnerability was closed in bucks, but since they found it i assume its usable in other coins such as crave
[2015-07-22 06:08:02] iGotSpots: i did not know about it until they posted it though and it is a big deal, but its fixed for bucks now
[2015-07-22 06:08:40] iGotSpots: it did not require a new client for the fix, either
[2015-07-22 06:08:51] Crestington: @iGotSpots, what was the exact vulnerability?
[2015-07-22 06:09:23] iGotSpots: like im going to say that in a chatbox lol

Then a week or two later when I first discovered I could no longer stake GorillaBucks I tried to ask you about it. This is where our recent relationship began:

[2015-08-06 13:47:31] iGotSpots: guess the coin is broke and you should sell
[2015-08-06 13:48:16] Fallout: I think I will. If you are happy that two wallets seem to be taking all the stakes and it doesnt bother you.

[2015-08-06 13:49:40] Fallout: Ive backed you in the past but this is a joke
[2015-08-06 13:49:41] iGotSpots: wanna know a secret
[2015-08-06 13:49:52] iGotSpots: (i have videos and tips in the wallet on how to stake efficiently)
[2015-08-06 13:49:56] iGotSpots: like i said earlier
[2015-08-06 13:50:08] iGotSpots: people should really read WHAT i say instead of what is said ABOUT me
[2015-08-06 13:51:10] stabycroc;_)>: well he isnt asking about u Mr.ego he asking about the wallet and coin.... less ego more pro!!
[2015-08-06 13:51:11] iGotSpots: i know what youre trying to do and im not playing that game
[2015-08-06 13:51:36] Fallout: Drop your ego for one minute and just look ffs
[2015-08-06 13:51:12] Fallout: I can read, I have setup many wallets, with small inputs. I stake about a hundred a day. These wallets are pulling over 1000 a day
[2015-08-06 13:52:17] iGotSpots: im looking right at it
[2015-08-06 13:52:24] iGotSpots: i can squint and look harder if youd like?
[2015-08-06 13:52:44] iGotSpots: i see nothing except someone who is following my tips

You then proceeded to delete all questions from the main thread for the rest of the day. You were trying to hide the exploit from everyone.
When I got up the next day you had locked the thread and abandoned GorillaBucks without a word of explanation to anyone.
The truth about the exploit was out and you shit bricks.

That's what really happened.
The excuse about caring for your family is just a blatant lie and a way to blame others for the GorillaBucks collapse.

And BCX... you can suck me dry.

427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: September 09, 2015, 12:55:14 AM
OK DUMBASS, why would the engine allow that buy order to exist in the first place? Unlimited KHS/MHS in the trading engine? Obviously it's a buy order but guess what if you go to Hashnest and try to buy 300 Ph/s worth of shares, IT WON'T LET YOU. Fancy that. Their orderbook limits you to buying what's available on their marketplace.

Any explanations for this, or shall we add it to the list of things you make up and can't substantiate?

To be fair, most trading engines will allow you to put in buy orders for any amount.

Here's an order to buy 500 million CLAMs at 1 satoshi each on poloniex. Only ~15 million exist in total:

Fair point.

That being said, even I'm getting sick of being lost in distractionary minutia. Until someone can prove ScryptCC is mining, this is an outright scam and any attempt to defend it in any regards, is detrimental to everyone involved (Not you Dooglus, LOL. I'm very clear as to where you stand on this and other scams.). There's no mining at all, not fractional or otherwise, not SHA-256 instead of Scrypt, there's just no mining. And if you ignore the last 460+ pages of this thread, start with the premise that ScryptCC is selling mining shares, and end at the simple conclusion that no mining is taking place, this is fraud and nothing but. Kudos to those brave enough to continue trying to fight the good fight. You won't see me post here again, I promise. Anyone left trying to defend or explain this mess, isn't worth the time it takes to reply anymore. So you lot enjoy your scam while it lasts, I'm sure another will be along soon.

Don't make a promise you can't keep, you can only spend so much time and energy trying to warn people but at some point you gotta let it happen on it's own. It doesn't mean that you never have to post about it, just spend less energy on it and focus on your own stuff otherwise you are going to burn out trying to save people from themselves.

Thank you for your wonderful service!

Are you able to add the YoBit market for PayCon [CON], it is missing from the exchange list.

Also, the image logo for PayCon is fairly dated, this is the current logo.

PayCon Version 2.0.1 has been released

Links have been updated in the OP to connect only from release tags in Github rather than a third party such as mediafire.

https://github.com/Crestington/PayCon/releases

Version 2.0.1 comes with a the change of Multisend GUI which replaces the CON for Charity function. Multisend allows you to send up to 100% of your Stake to multiple addresses of your choosing. Link to the Cryptsy market has been added to the social/exchange tab and a small fix to the Hashsettings.

PayCon (CON) and Bottlecaps (CAP) are excellent PoS Coins!

It blows my mind that CON isn't dead, it was a total joke coin in the GAW thread and now is being suggested for a serious stake coin lol.

Are you sure you are on the right forums? It fits the Crypto crowd perfectly, possibly the biggest mistake is trying to take Crypto too seriously when it's better to just have fun and push the tech.
Yeah I was in that forum when you were pushing the coin and launching it with the annoying countdown, nothing against you but there have been plenty of fun coins that are goofy and die in a month, I am surprised this didn't follow.

That was actually a great little event, Stake week. Those countdowns were pre-setup scripts to launch at the exact time the timers hit 0 and would increase everyone's Stake rewards for a week while also readying a core update.

I love Crypto and seeing a project advance and PayCon allows complete freedom, also I'm super active on Bitcointalk and great at managing a team environment. Many people have asked me why I'm wasting my time with PayCon, to me it represents Crypto perfectly and I get to know more developers over time.

Also updated the wallet releases today with Multisend GUI to replace Stake For Charity, small fix to the Hashsettings, and link to the Cryptsy market. I've has some requests for a version without TOR so users now have a choice in the newest versions.

Updated wallets should be ready either today or tomorrow.

I also got some word back about light clients for mobile, sakr showed be some examples of his light client integration for Android and IOS, instant sync but requires some heavy modifications for the platform as well as server setup. Price was quoted to me as 5 BTC for either Android or IOS or 10 BTC for both.

Lets get a list of those willing to chip in for an iphone / IOS wallet.

Vegas

I still need to get some donations for putting together the Android wallet and will have new wallets ready for Windows and Mac fairly soon.

The plan for me was to first get the updated wallets for all platforms, website, and promo video done and then see about gathering some donations to cover costs (mainly just the builds). I'm making the website and have a couple people helping me on it so shouldn't be too long, maybe a few days.

mmm, well now we have android we can take CON to Vegas Smiley

Not yet, I got an iphone. So if you want to chill at my pad, CON will need an IOS wallet first Wink

Ill chip in. Find a price.

Vegas

Can do a light IOS client but it won't Stake, interested?

Yes, I personally dont care about staking on a phone. Just want to be able to transfer funds and check my balance. This will bring even more trust and value to CON.

Vegas

I sent a message but would probably be a minimum of 1 BTC for a lightweight IOS wallet.
