hello patrike, I have a question about C# API, in the recent betas you've changed the initializer for PredefinedPool class now it is declared as PredefinedPoolProvider(AwesomeMiner.Infrastructure.Intelligence.OnlineServiceType, string, AwesomeMiner.Infrastructure.Mining.Pools.MiningRegion) can you please describe what MiningRegions are available? I've tried to guess but didn't succeed. thank you. Depends on your pool. You can find the regions at the pools or in awesomeminer options in profit switching section. I appreciate your desire to help, but I'm sure you didn't understand what I'm asking. I use Nicehash EU North server in my C# script. have tried every possible name that could be used. using NicehashRegion.EU results in incompatible type assignment warning. also, script editor complains that AwesomeMiner.Infrastructure.Mining assembly is missing, so type MiningRegion is undefined. hope that's enough details to find the issue. patiently waiting for a fixed build, @patrike. thanks again. This specific class has not changed in about two years. The available MiningRegions for Nicehash did however change a few months ago, when they introduced new regions (where the MiningRegion can be one of: USAWest, USAEast, EuropeWest,EuropeNorth) like MiningRegion.USAWest. Can you share some context how you use it and in what way it changed/broke in the latest development release? You can send the details via PM if you want. Thanks!

Good day. I use HiveOS, In HiveOS, miners, algorithms and acceleration GPUs for the arrival of the GPU are customized. Question: - Is it possible if using the HiveOS API (Available in HiveOS)?, Make so that Awesome Miner for Linux, using the API of My Riga, chose an acceleration of GPU and Mainer for an integrated algorithm? (Disappears the ability to download the necessary miners). - Big request, make awesome miner for linux, so that there is no need to keep the PC included with OS windsws and the Awesome Miner installed by the Awesome MINER disabled, does not switch to the profit on the selected pool.
Thanks for your questions and your feedback. Although I'm not sure I fully understood your request about using the HiveOS APIs, we don't have any plans to integrate with HiveOS itself. What we will do later on is related to your second point - the goal is to provide a Linux mining distribution where Awesome Miner Remote Agent is pre-installed. The main application (and the profit switcher) will however stay on Windows.

Patrike,
I'm not sure which recent update caused this issue, but if you're a GPU miner and have the SHA-256 algorithm disabled for obvious reasons, you can no longer select bitcoin as an option for a coin in the wallet balance. I had to re-enable the SHA-256 algo in order to get the bitcoin balances working again.
Hal
Thanks for your question. I think you might have disabled SHA-256 in the Options dialog, Algorithms setting, so it will be globally disabled. That behavior has always been there. If you only want to remove SHA-256 from the profit switcher for example, please right click on the miner and select Edit Profit Profile where you can disable SHA-256.

Any chance for better integration of Mining coins+Zil? I can handle it, but many other users can not handle this. Is it possible to deactivate unused mining software? We can deactivate algos and coins, but not mining software?
I agree that ZIL is complex to setup but even if it was simplified I'm not sure if that many more users would use it. For the Mining Software I fully agree with your point and I've actually had this as a planned task for a while. There are also a number of mining software that no one or almost no one uses these days because they are simply outdated. They should be disabled/hidden by default. You can expect this feature within the next few weeks.

When in Options I select Pools, choose a pool and go to Pool balance, the Enable checkbox is grayed out and I can't enter pool's API for balance monitoring. How can I fix that?
Thanks for your question. All mining pools have their own ways of providing a balance API (if they provide it at all). The checkbox will only be available for the pools where Awesome Miner do support reading the pool balance.

Hello there, noob checking in.
Every once in a while, almost exclusively with zpool (and more specifically, X13) but not always, I get insane profit quotes and my rig will switch to mining trash coins at very low hashrates. I have whattomine, coincalculators, and cointomine as statistics sources. Today, for instance, my actual hashrate and profit got totally derailed by a $1,069/hr 16.00 MH/s (!!!! seriously?) quote that swapped all my algo's for about 20 minutes until I caught it. I have tried blacklisting but I kind of prefer not to do that and the inline ignore option only allows for 24hrs at a time if I wanted to cherry pick (and I'm not going to pretend I can predict for all future scenarios what algos/coins/pools I would need to blacklist, anyways). Can anyone explain why this happens, and how to avoid it?
Thanks
side note: to get it to run by default, I had to modify the command line for ccminer alexis to add -i 20 because it was giving memory errors and bricking my mining whenever switcher picked a ccminer algo (in this case on a 1060 6gb). Is this a normal, known issue?
Hello and thanks for your questions. Please see this guide as a starting point: https://support.awesomeminer.com/support/solutions/articles/35000086030-coin-and-profit-statisticsThere can be cases where a pool reports unrealistic profit predictions but the good news is that Awesome Miner can use the two concepts "Actual payout" and "Volatility" to at least make it less likely to run into these problems.

please somebody explain to me the firmware side I want to use L3+s firmware from awesomeminer and there's two option license and license free, I understand license free has 3% fee but what is this license, I mean I own awesomeminer license does it count like firmware license too? or do I need to buy one to get 2% devfee?
Thanks for the question. There are two versions of the firmware for Antminer L3+, one with 2% mining fee and another one with 3% mining fee. If you have enough licenses in Awesome Miner already, you can use the 2% firmware. If you run out of licenses in Awesome Miner, for example that you are already consuming 20 of 20 licenses and want to add additional Antminers, you can still do add more miners if install the firmware with a 3% mining fee on them. You can for example have a license for 20 miners, but manage a total of 25 miners as long as 5 of them run the firmware with 3% mining fee.

Hi, All API actions like stopping a miner must use a HTTP Post-request, like you did with Powershell. For CURL it must be specified with "-X POST" to make it work.

Hi Patrike,
My progress column did not work after the update: In version 8.4.7 is all fine.
Thanks for the report. This was indeed an issue. Can you please upgrade to the latest version 4.8.9?

Version 8.4.8 (Development preview of 8.5) Note - The code signing certificate for the MSI installers has been updated. Windows may show a SmartScreen warning as the certificate is new. GPU mining - Beta: Awesome Miner and Remote Agent can be configured to communicate via Cloud Services, without a direct communication link between them. This makes deployments of remote sites easier as it no longer requires VPN. Features - Virtual Miner Groups can include other Virtual Miner Groups Changes - Reduced the number of separate DLL-files for Awesome Miner and Remote Agents Mining software - PhoenixMiner 5.6d - Lolminer 1.28a - CpuMiner-Opt 3.16.3 Corrections - Correction to the trigger for detecting if a miner isn't hashing To get access to development versions, open the Options dialog in Awesome Miner. In the General section, enable Check for development versions. Then go to the Menu and click Check for updates. Hi Patrike,
we are running the Avalon 1246-87T - the temperature in the web-surface of the miner shows us a Miner Temperature of abou 66 degree celsius - AM shows us between 90 and 100 degrees?!
do you have an idea?
BR Ralf
Hi Ralf, Thanks for your question. Avalon 1246 can report two temperatures where the high value should be the chip temperature. If you select your Avalon miner in Awesome Miner and go to the ASIC tab, do you see two temperatures here? Is the first temperature matching what you see in the Avalon web interface? Would it be possible for you to send me the API report for this Avalon miner (via PM om mail)? The report can be generate via the toolbar Tools -> API Report. Please also let me know the temperature reported by the Avalon web interface at the time you generated the report. Many thanks!

New dumdum here. Just a quick question. I know you have to mine a certain amount before you get paid. Mining ethereum, been at it for about a week. No payout yet. How do I find out what a specific pool pays at, and at what regularity? For example, one I've seen lately is 0.002 BTC every 4 hours (as long as you have that much that can be paid).
Thanks for your question. As you point out you need to mine a certain amount first and this depends on the mining pool you are using. For most mining pools you can go to their web site and either login or enter your ETH wallet address to get details about your balance and how close you are to the next payout.

Recent phoenixminer failing to download for me. Had to manually point to previous version in the appdata\roaming\awesomeminerservice dir. Perhaps it has to do with phoenix moving their repo from mega to onedrive?
The official PhoenixMiner download location was moved because they were banned from Github. We have pushed a new Mining Software Definition for this. Please click on the blue Menu button and then "Update mining software definitions".

Hi Patrike, AM runing 5 days, computer RAM consumption is over 1.2 GB, i have restarted AM and now RAM consumption is only 210 MB. AM 8.4.7, Win 10 pro, 20H2, build 19042.928, Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.551.0, latest OS updates installed. I see after AM restart, RAM consumption slowly growing. Is there any memory leak in code? Regards.
Just checked my memory usage, AM is running for about a week since last reboot - 160 Mb. depend how many miners you use. After one day running, memory usage grow from 200 Mb till 530 Mb. This is most likely related to a known bug in the nVidia drivers. All application that uses nVidia NVLM to monitor the power usage (Awesome Miner, some mining software, ...) will end up with this memory issue. The issue didn't exist back in driver version 457.x, but it's present in 460.x and 461.x and possible more versions. Which version are you running today? Hmm, yes i use linux drivers on remote rigs 460.39 & 460.67. But on computer where AM runing, i use only CPU graphic and no other GPU installed. Not uderstand, how remote machine driver problem can consume AM computer memory. Rigs intself have no problems with this drivers, no memory leaks (at least i never got any messages depends memory on rigs). I control AM computer remotly over Microsoft remote desktop. After last AM restart (3 days ago), memory consumption now arround 960 MB. Need to do AM restart soon. But if you think, that is the NVIDIA drivers problem, i will wait till new driver versions. Regards. Hi, If you don't have any GPU on the Windows computer running Awesome Miner, it isn't the nVidia memory leak problem that I first thought. I will soon send you a message with a specific request for more details about this case.

Patrik, I'm still struggling with setting up dual mining ETH-ZIL on Binance/rustpool. Binance requires username instead of wallet and I can't find the right miner configuration, can you help?
Did it fail when you used the setup suggested by sxemini above? It should be the same concept no matter which pool you use. When entering your username instead of the wallet address, isn't this accepted? What is the error message you get?
