421  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Human brain hash power. on: April 21, 2014, 08:54:49 PM
Haha university professors are not smarter than super computers at doing calculastions.
Computers aren't 'smarter' they're just better at doing a repetitive task

They're still able to do bigger and more accurate calculations, but they're not smarter.

human brain made computers and programmed them to do whatever they can do now , so its obvious who is smarter .
Alright, so by that logic - if a human builds a machine that can lift extremely heavy weights, the human is stronger because he built the machine? loool.
422  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What can be better for introducing Bitcoin? on: April 21, 2014, 08:52:52 PM
Nice and fun introduction site for newbies. Just don't like that they want you to log in with Facebook and such.
423  Economy / Speculation / Re: $10,000 when? on: April 21, 2014, 08:51:14 PM
Why do you think we will stop using Bitcoin in 2022? As soon as more people become Bitcoin users, bank-based financial systems will have no use and i hope the revolution will be there at least in 2022...

If some new bug is discovered in Bitcoin, which allows something like a double spend, then Bitcoin will become useless and the people who have invested money in it will lose everything. Also, there is a slight possibility of a 51% attack (theoretically possible, but very difficult to do it practically). So many possibilities... let's hope that BTC will cross $100,000 before that.  Grin

We can hope but you know it won't. There are so much troubles on the way - people with a LOT of money will block it, government will block it as soon as they feel threatened. No chance.

As long as *we* follow, support and promote our idea, no government can stop Bitcoin. Meanwhile, it is possible to keep btc relays on bullet-proof private datacenters to get more security from "someones", who will suddenly decide to close these servers. While network is up - Bitcoin is unstoppable.
I agree, it'd be hard for any government except I guess China's to do something about the people using bitcoins.
424  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it just me or is anyone else tired of watching this constant no change bs on: April 21, 2014, 03:29:44 PM
If you don't wanna watch it, then don't. Isn't it wonderful how simple the solution was? Smiley
425  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will happen tomorrow? Tuesday 22 April. First bankday after easter on: April 21, 2014, 03:29:02 PM

In one day? Doubt that.
426  Economy / Services / Re: ★★★ HIGHEST SIGNATURE PAYMENT ON THE BOARD - NEW RATES - RitzGrandCasino.com ★★★ on: April 21, 2014, 03:27:54 PM
Hahaha, seems like Primedice users are moving here since the last payment delay. :x
There is absolutely no excuse for late payments to the members.  That's why we state a date AND time.
From our business dealings... when someone starts making excuses with payment delays, it most likely means their in a financial jam.
And any tick of the clock they will go under and not pay anyone.
There is no other reason to be late. Especially days late.

Glad your payment system is more efficient, waiting longer than the allotted time is a pain, especially for the "Members and Full Members" that post and post due to lowered rates across the board.

I can definitely see your campaign getting more and more disgruntled sig holders from the other one.
The major benefit however is that you don't have to request your payment yourself, and enrolling is automatic. I can't imagine a better system.
427  Other / Off-topic / Re: Your time machine is here...what year would you like? on: April 21, 2014, 03:26:57 PM
Give me the swingin' 60's. Cool music and free love....
Yup. I hate that you have to pay for love nowadays.

Wtf?
428  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Butterflylabs Huge SCAM on: April 21, 2014, 03:25:39 PM
You should rather mine with a cloud mining service like CEX.IO
Current prices are 0.0094/Ghs for contracts which start mining now and 0.0083 BTC/Ghs for contracts which start mininng on 26th of April (FHA)
With CEX.IO you can start mining today without any hardware running at home.

Cex.io is far from the best cloud mining service out there now.
Untill the owner runs away just like Pirateat40 did
Well if you have trust issues cloud mining will be hard, no matter who the owner is, no?
429  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Sunnah Money? on: April 21, 2014, 03:24:49 PM
has anybody sent opec an email and asked them if they're willing to accept bitcoins for oil? i can just imagine the all the excitement this would cause if they said yes.
Don't think so, why don't you do it? :>
430  Other / Off-topic / Re: Answer the question above with a question. on: April 21, 2014, 03:22:37 PM
But SI  unit of pressure is Pascal ?

So?
Can't you make up a better response than "so"?

What that response could be ?
Perhaps a more elaborate and thought-through question that would keep the conversation going rather than abruptly killing it?

Why didn't he think so before typing so ?
Oh, how I wish I could fully understand the human brain. Isn't it one of the most interesting subject you can think about?

human mind is trying to understand itself but why it couldn't ?

You just proved your own point?
Did he?
431  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Klick and Earn - Free BTC -without captcha - without reload on: April 21, 2014, 03:22:09 PM
No payouts yet? I'd avoid. A lot of new ones don't even bother.

It seems he started recently, and someone got paid as well.

He started yesterday and afaik noone was paid yet.

-snip-first payment 27 April 2014

-snip-
A little bit more feedback about a minimum withdraw will be nice Cheesy

I personally would prefer weekly payment regardless of amount. Kinda like coinlearn, but weekly. That way you can payout several people at once and have small fees.

This is a good idea imo, weekly payouts ( see freebitco.in for example ) is a good way to go, but no need for a minimum withdrawal limit imho.
432  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best way to explain bitcoin isnt "fake"? on: April 21, 2014, 02:31:34 PM
It's not hard to explain to someone who actually wants to know and learn, but impossible to explain to someone who covers his ears and shouts while you try. Smiley
433  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is Big Scam on: April 21, 2014, 02:30:17 PM
Bitcoin for the unemployed people
LOL. OP came back and just said this. We are all unemployed. Cry

Yep he's right. That's why the bitcoin investors can buy bitcoins at high rates, because we don't have any money and are unemployed. Logic at it's finest.
434  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: April 21, 2014, 02:27:21 PM
And I had my number in the previous block! Let's just take it as men though. Cheesy
435  Other / MultiBit / Re: Multibit turned out to be a scam on: April 21, 2014, 02:26:42 PM
For what it's worth, I haven't lost any money using MultiBit, so I can't support your claims about it being a scam.
Me neither. It's just the ramblings of some random guy.

How would the government successfully block Bitcoins?
437  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who will be the first to Die? on: April 21, 2014, 12:28:14 PM
Who will be the first person to die for bitcoin, and how?

The question isn't who or how but whether he'll be drinking a desert-like coffee beverage when it happens.

"ooo la la, so creamy and..."  *pop* *pop* *pop*

He's too fat to die by gunfire. The bullets would just bounce off. Was the popping sound the buttons on his pants popping off from too many Starbucks beverages? Fat people are more prone to heart attack so he might be the first Bitcoin death.
I think even though his stomach / torso would probably absorb the impacts his face is still very shootable.
438  Other / Off-topic / Re: New Gmail Feature to send $ through email... on: April 21, 2014, 12:25:53 PM
Great news, what currency do they use usd,btc
USD at the moment as it's only available in the US.

Will wait for that feature to be available in my country too. I'm excited to try it out. Although, I wish they can also add Bitcoins to that soon.
Sending bitcoins through email? Why not send bitcoins with your wallet?
439  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is there any BTC bank? on: April 21, 2014, 12:25:09 PM
I'm sure there are some "banks" around. You basically send all your money and they falsely promise interest on that money, and you'll never be able to withdraw it again. No, this is not the point of bitcoins, be your own bank. Smiley

True.
Why send your bitcoin to someone else and ask him/her to hold it for you, instead of holding the bitcoin yourself? Cheesy
To get some sort of interest. Altho all those interest / investment schemes are scams.

You get next to zero interest now anyway, but banks only make their money by lending it out at extortionate rates. We shouldnt support their loan sharking.
No I definitely agree, that's why I like bitcoin, the thought of a decentralized currency is just great. Banks aren't made to help people, they're there to make profit. Smiley
440  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saw this today at one of my local charity shops on: April 21, 2014, 12:23:40 PM
Would be cool if more charity shops do this. It'll really get the older generation talking about it.

What store is that? You don't seem to say.
I'm also curious why nobody has given ( the OP especially ) the name of the shop.

Maybe it's a sexshop and that's why he's avoided the question. It does say no soliciting lol.
A charity sexshop with a teddy bear outside?

Not this one, you idiot. Do you even read posts before you comment on them?
I read them but I didn't notice the link haha, that's my bad.
No need to be offensive, everyone's human.
