641  Other / Off-topic / Re: bought my first computer in 4 years. What useful programs would you recommend? on: April 20, 2014, 12:00:20 AM
Microsoft Paint  Grin dont know alot but for videos VLC.
Paint is indeed very useful for painting beautiful squares and circles, but it's already installed from scratch with windows computers, no need to download it. Smiley

A question about a quote from your site:

The BitcoinTalk.org Signature Program pays you to set your profile signature to promote our site. You must have a minimum of 25 activity points to participate in the program. Newbie accounts are not elligible. The program detals are as follows:

Newbie accounts aren't eligible? Why are they listed in the payout rates list then? + 25 activity is the minimum it says, which even if you have, your account will still be a newbie acc. What's up with this?
643  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are house cats useful? on: April 19, 2014, 11:56:58 PM
No. They are too furry and selfish. Too much pain - not enough profit.

Keeping animals is never for profit of any type. If that is your attitude - then you are the selfish one and thoroughly unqualified to have an animal.
Ugh, tell that to farmers all over the world?

I don't think they have a problem with being selfish, using large numbers of animals to create their desired outcome has been their job since millenia.
(and I think not even they would dispose of some cats just because they don't catch enough mice - they simply have learned to live in a functional symbiosis with various animals - both involved species benefit in their own way)

It's a different story with animals kept at ordinary homes anyway.
I think what you're looking for is the difference between animals and pets.
644  Economy / Services / Re: I will pay you 0.01 a week for listening my music on SPOTIFY on: April 19, 2014, 11:55:53 PM
Would do this myself, but there's so much registering to do first. :/
645  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earn some extra $$ to buy BTC ! Or just keep it to yourself. on: April 19, 2014, 11:55:25 PM
You call that spam?

How come it was posted by other forum's respectable members?

http://thebot.net/third-party-bots/251375-imacros-likesasap-com-advanced-facebook-like-script-100-autopilot/
Not calling is spam, but it requires downloads and such things are definitely not popular among people who have some sort of technical knowledge.

I understand.
Will post Virus Total scan soon...
Yeah that could help. Many people are too lazy to do it on their own, haha.
646  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Price on: April 19, 2014, 11:54:59 PM
The first few days, any coins have good supply and demand & not exist good or bad news.
Increases or decreases OTHER COINS prices depends on what factors?

Why would a new coin has good supply and good demand?
Yeah indeed, that's just nonsense.

It might have high supply because it was premined. Which is usually a bad sign.
It might have high demand because it has new and unique features.
Probably no alt coin has high supply and high demand. It just makes no sense, as they would cancel eachother out and result in either low demand or low supply. I just assume "good" here means high.
No alt coin has a high demand or they would be valuable, lol.
647  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is Big Scam on: April 19, 2014, 11:54:13 PM
Your sarcasm/banter was difficult to for me to recognize, and I ultimately failed to do so, but I do not believe that I am incapable of recognizing it.

Apparently I did in this case. Huh Roll Eyes Tongue
It happens. Text, especially when written over the internet can be very hard to interpret correctly. People think they're being so clear because the sarcasm is obvious to the author, while in reality it's not easy at all for the reader to know.
648  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Using 'bits' instead of µ[btc] is not a good idea on: April 19, 2014, 11:52:44 PM
As long as you don't use the word bits, people can't make that name happen. Cheesy

Stay patient, I'm sure he'll update as soon as he has time. You shouldn't put yourself in a position where you -need- the payment on an exact date, when these kinds of issues aren't very rare.
650  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to $0.50 on: April 19, 2014, 11:50:18 PM
everyone will sell everything to buy it when it reaches 1USD so no chance of 0.50USD  Grin
Sorry what? Is there some sort of typo in there that's making this statement very hard to comprehend?
651  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: any good bitcoin trader accepting PayPal? on: April 19, 2014, 11:49:15 PM
I see many ppl on localbitcoins uses it.

It's safe as long as the person who sends it is trustworthy, but most who appear trustworthy end up scamming eventually. All you have to do is complain to PayPal that you didnt issue the payment and you get your money back. As easy as that.

What to say to paypal, someone hacked my account or what?

Are you going to try scam somebody or something?

No, I am trying to protect myself from scamming. Can he scam me if he send me a payment as a gift?
I think all the payments can be canceled, yes, no matter what context they're sent in.
652  Other / Off-topic / Re: Answer the question above with a question. on: April 19, 2014, 11:48:44 PM
Who is the smug friend?

Yeah I think when they kick your smug friend in the nuts don't you agree ?

Now that is an interesting concept, isn't it?

indeed and funny isn't it Cheesy?

You always have someone that always braging about his new thing don't you have one?

What is "braging" and how is it pronounced?

My $.02.

Wink
I'm sure he meant bragging, and I'm sure you know that as well, don't you?
653  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to $0.50 on: April 19, 2014, 11:02:56 PM
Bitcoin goes down to 0.50, people start buying like crazy due to the low price - value is restored, correct?

... or hows about we dont go down to 50c and value is maintained because the market is forward looking  Wink
Yes of course, but just a theoretical scenario where this happens isn't really that bad is it? That's the point i was trying to make Smiley
654  Other / Off-topic / Re: POST COUNT 100 !!! on: April 19, 2014, 10:52:23 PM
make your mama papa proud, set your goal to reach 100000000000000000
Pfft, I don't have a set goal when posting. I respond to threads I find interesting.

For comparison do anyone know how fast other post-based Sig compaigns pays out ?

RitzGrandCasino is the best, highest paid,  and most reliable Sig campaign at the moment.

No 24 or 48 hour wait and no need to submit your post amount each month. Automated payments on the 1st of each month.  RGC Website is pretty nice and probably fair too!  Cool

There is no proof it is provably fair...

Here you go!

https://www.ritzgrandcasino.com/provablyfair.php

Hah, nice one. I bet he saw someone claiming it wasn't provably fair and didn't bother to look it up himself, just got convinced. Smiley
656  Other / Off-topic / Re: POST COUNT 100 !!! on: April 19, 2014, 10:45:18 PM
Hard to beat someone who's been here for years without being here for years yourself. Smiley

It is not hard if the guy didn't post a lot Grin

Look at here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=mlist;sort=registered;start=0 half the members (5/10) that registered in 2009 are still newbies

hilariousandco registered November 20 2013 and posted 7357 so far!! 56posts/day in average!! I posted 18posts/day in average and I feel I am posting all the time
56 post per day in AVERAGE?
I could easily post 56 times a day, and sometimes I do, but EVERY DAY? Gee wiz.

that's some dedication, I can see my self reaching 56 post a day when the section is active and people are commenting, but doing it everyday that's another level of dedication
Oh yeah. I suppose people can post from their phones nowadays, I can't though. 56 posts per day from my computer, I can't imagine the headache, haha.

If you are involved in interesting conversations and you are sick in the hospital, making short posts it is doable but if you have a balanced life and you make long posts it is pretty unhealthy amha
Yep, there's probably not much else going on in terms of living if you've that huge amounts of time posting.

You'll beat him soon enough ! you are over 2K post in such short period of time Smiley
Well, I basically post a lot when I have a lot of free time, and during busier days I nearly don't post at all. You can see that there's a gap in my posting between the first of april and the 15th for example, and after the 15th it caught up. Smiley
My point is i'm not posting every day, but when I do, I post a lot. x)
657  Economy / Services / Re: Selling space on my signature. Highly active account on: April 19, 2014, 10:43:22 PM
If your posts are high quality and not spammy, why would you even care about someone checking over your posts?
Exactly what I was thinking myself, sounds like you're looking for a signature deal that pays you no matter how bad your posts are? Makes no sense.
658  Other / Off-topic / Re: Answer the question above with a question. on: April 19, 2014, 10:40:00 PM
No I did not, but lets change the topic once again, because I've always wondered, can horses be funny?
659  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to $0.50 on: April 19, 2014, 10:39:19 PM

660  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Using 'bits' instead of µ[btc] is not a good idea on: April 19, 2014, 10:37:33 PM
You can't simply "change" a name of something. People are used to what it's called right now, and therefore they won't use anything else. That will result in the majority still using the current name, and nothing will change.

there is no such thing as a current name (except maybe microbit), bit they are proposing a bit and it's gaining support.

To prevent confusion in the future it's best to stop this petition dead in their tracks.
No such thing as current name? There's a reason you used a name when making this thread, and that's because it's the established one. Smiley
