421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: And yet another problem for promoters on: February 20, 2021, 01:06:08 PM
There is going to be another problem for bounty hunters soon, now that ethereum is over 1900$ finally the gas fee keeps increasing and majority of bounties are smart contract, team can easily say the gas fee is too high so they can't send tokens to bounty hunters, I think it's the right time for bounties to start paying bounty hunters in USDT Tron or BTC, what do you say?
There is no way the bounties will be sent in other coins that have valuation, the idea behind bounties is to have exposure for the coin and to have active traders and the most important part is to attract investors and till now i have seen only a few projects providing bounties in bitcoin or ETH and most projects are experimental and they wont risk paying out huge amounts before that.
422  Economy / Economics / Re: The recent rise in prices, temporary or more long term? on: February 19, 2021, 11:59:46 PM
As long as we are hearing about news about huge investments coming into the market the price will rally and you cannot predict when these institutional investors will book their profit and once they book their profit the market will go down drastically and it is not a big surprise and you do not need any skills to predict that but to understand their plans you need to have either insider information to book your profit on time.
423  Economy / Economics / Re: Loan scam in India allegedly headed by a Chinese Narional on: February 19, 2021, 10:12:36 PM
~
I don't know how this is related to crypto because the loans they provide it seems were in fiat and with absurdly high interest rates to make the borrowers suffer but it has no connection with crypto I believe.
The micro loans have nothing to do with cryptocurrency and they are providing high interest loans without regulations from RBI and it is illegal as it could break people and there are people who committed suicide because of the high interest rates.

I am actually surprised they were able to get their money back from victims by abusing, defaming and harassing them as mentioned in the article because any grown men would just avoid any of these threats and ignore them. I mean these companies were running illegally so they can't force their client/borrowers into paying them legally.
Harassing the victims is their first duty if they are not able to pay the loan in time, they then call the relatives and inform them that you are owing them money and these sort of harassment will break people.
424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have some 16000 usd but need to know investment portion on: February 19, 2021, 06:47:37 PM
Since you are asking this advice when the market rallied it is hard to give you any advice and you cannot trust any other advice as well as no one knows which coins are going to rally and which coins goes down. If you are planning to invest you need to understand the risk involved as well when the market goes down as well. If you had invested in BNB when you posted you could have made a fortune but you need to find any lucky instance for a rally as well.
425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB is No. 4 on: February 19, 2021, 06:06:05 PM
Yeah, that's right. BNB has overtaken both DOT and ADA in terms of market capitalization. I think this is largely due to the many projects and users/traders/investors migrating to the Binance Smart Chain.
All the credits goes to ETH and its higher transaction charges and many users are tired of paying huge amount of money for every transaction but the sad part is that i was holding a few coins in the past and i sold when it crossed around $140 and i did not expect the price keeping on rallying and it looks like we will see further rally. With these changes i would like to see ETH going down Grin.
426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coinbase ETH 2.0 Staking Waitlist on: February 18, 2021, 09:51:13 PM
Great news. Finally I’m not missing opportunity to earn something extra, as I have few ether coins exactly on Coinbase account. After reading an article, I could not find one thing - can I leave staking program at any time, or I will have to wait till period ends (ie 30-60-90 days)? Can anyone point me an answer on that?
This is not the first time they are allowing you to earn stakes by holding the coins, as per coinbase initially you cannot move the coins you have staked but they will be allowing users to trade the coins at a later stage and sure there will be a minimum locking period but they have not clearly mentioned about that as they said they will finalize that and will publish it soon.
427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: February 17, 2021, 12:00:05 AM
This is not the first time Adesanya fight heavy guys. When he was in kickboxing, he has competed in 80+ weight class. His early kickboxing career and few boxing matches he fought as a Cruiserweights - that is a minimum of 86kg (depends on an organization). Light heavyweight in UFC is between 84 to 93kg. But I agree that he will keep distance most of the fight, due to his reach advantage.
Adesanya fought in higher weight divisions in kickboxing but the level of competition might not be that big and there are footage's of him getting knocked out in the higher weight division most probably in heavyweight and i expect it to be a competitive fight.

I'm really hoping we get to see Israel get to Khabib numbers, without taking a loss, but the dude definitely isn't sitting on his hands, and picking easier fights. This will definitely be a test, although I thought that about Costa last time, and we know how that ended.
He is not playing safe as he was willing to face anyone, usually everyone avoids Yoel Romero but he called him out despite being the champion shows his confidence. I am also expecting a master class from Adesanya and he will have the speed advantage but Jan Blachowicz is huge and his body kicks are nasty and the way in which he picked apart Dominick Reyes with heavy body kicks was a beauty and that shut the entire game of Dominick Reyes.
If he is able to beat Jan Blachowicz then Jon Jones will be his biggest challenge and no one beats Jones and with the level of intensity i am expecting a motivated Jon Jones and that will be the biggest fight in the UFC if you take into account the level of competition.
428  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 16, 2021, 11:28:41 PM
Moeen Ali is confirmed that he is leaving back to England and wont participate in the rest of the matches and that is a big blow to the side as he was the in form player who picked 8 wickets and he played an entertaining knock in the final innings.
I give India the advantage and toss will be a major factor .
Moeen Ali is leaving but they have Dom Bess who performed well in the first match but to my surprise he was not picked they picked Jack Leach who was hammered by Pant and they are the spinning options for England for the rest of the tour. Toss will be a factor and the team winning to toss will elect to bat and that is the best option in Asian conditions.
429  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 15, 2021, 08:14:44 PM
Toss is real key for success in home test matches and it's happened in this as well. England is completely outclassed in this match now series is going to be level and pink ball factor is also going to be happened in next matches hopefully this all will make this series more interested because this match was completely one-sided from start, but I am feeling India surely will go with 3 spinners because its good advantage for them.
So the next match will be day night one with the pink ball, the last time India played with the pink ball they were embarrassed badly as they were all out for 36 runs and this will be a big test for all the players and the next match is in Ahmedabad which is probably the biggest stadium in the world and hopefully they will be allowing audience.

England is in big trouble as they need to defend for the next two days with 7 wickets in hand which is an impossible task unless Joe Root scores another double century Grin.
430  Economy / Speculation / Re: Btc Halving Effect + Elon Musk Effect + Institutional Investors' Effect. on: February 15, 2021, 06:47:36 PM
There should be a combination of events that culminates in a rally, halving is a major factor and you need huge investment to come in for the price to go up  as well and these institutional fund houses were investing in bitcoin well before the halving knowing that the price would rally and then PayPal including bitcoin was another factor to breach the resistance we had and crossed the old all time high valuation and if you look at it, a combinations of events was responsible for this rally.
431  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hello 50000$... on: February 15, 2021, 04:55:49 PM
Behold guys as we are approaching another milestone in bitcoin history. 50000$ !!! I mean common man, cheer up if you have some bitcoins, cheer up more if you are planning to buy some.
I am looking forward to see the milestones and cheer on the price as i am holding some coins and i am looking to book my profit as well and i might be selling everything i hold and wait for the correction but no way i am going to enter the market when the price is hovering around $50,000. People who like to risk might enter at this stage but i am not taking much risk and investing anything further

432  Economy / Economics / Re: Earning interest on your crypto on: February 15, 2021, 02:13:23 PM
Just swap all your shitcoins for Bitcoin.

Bitcoin has been the most profitable investment of the past decade, and it looks like it also going to be the most profitable one of the decade ahead. If it maintains that rate of return, you only have to hold $1,000 in Bitcoin for 6.5 years it to turn into a million.
Till now bitcoin turned many into millionaires who had the patient to hold for a long time but with the price rallying a lot you cannot expect the same kind of profit like the earlier investors used to get. There are other coins in the market that rallied along with bitcoin especially coins with lower valuation and if you are holding those you could make a huge profit as well and some of these coins gave bigger returns than bitcoin.

Personally i do not trust holding the coins in exchanges let alone lend them.
433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Dogecoin reach 1$ soon? on: February 15, 2021, 12:43:47 PM
Today anyone who buy or invest in Doge when the price hit a high start to hesitate to sell or hold this altcoin. Even though Elon Musk with this latest tweet support Doge but I don't think it will be influential enough. In fact, the decline has reached 12% in the last 24 hours. What will you do when this support level break and the price continues to dump ? Is Elon Musk going to buy them all ?
It depends upon individual investors who jump into the coin to ride the rally and if the support is broken they will sell off the coins and jump to other coins as there are several other coins in the market that are rallying as well and probably they will not hold for the long term. If it is institutional investor then he might hold for the long term until the price rallies again but not everyone in this market will hold when the entire market is rallying.
434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO investment criteria and advices on: February 15, 2021, 12:00:33 PM
I've been reading post from this forum and internet and now I now a few thing about this, though, I want to know if you have some hints on how to know if an ICO is promising.
It is really hard to understand whether a project is promising just by looking at their sales pitch to raise money as we have seen thousands of projects with promising concepts burning away after the initial boom and now a days i seldom spend time in finding any projects as i consider everything as a pump and dump market.

Usually I check icodrop webpage but Im not totally secure on where to put my money in. I would like to know peoples criteria in order to choose a good ICO.
Never trust these third party websites that reviews these projects as well as they will shill for them and during the ICO boom there were many review websites and they do accept money to shill them and hence you cannot trust them with your investment.
435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk tweet causes Dogecoin holders to dump on: February 15, 2021, 11:00:56 AM
Yeah well what do we expect will happen to a heavily shilled coin by a business guy who only think of how to maximise profit,  Elon tweet (something positive) people go into doge shopping frenzy, Elon tweet (not so positive) dogecoin bag holders go ballistic and want to dump the market to hell,
The market reacts to everything he tweets and it is becoming a joke, i do not mind him shilling the coin so that the market pumps but then to come out and say the opposite a few days later is not the way he continue to manipulate the market and may be that is what he is trying to prove Grin.

At least he is ready to support (probably buy off their bags) whenever they want to dump, am beginning to wonder if Elon influence on dogecoin is healthy for the continuous survival of the project.
Doge coin does not need any support from anyone to survive, the only thing the project needs is from the developers to update the software and it is two years since the developers made any changes.
436  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: recent negative statement against Bitcoin on: February 14, 2021, 11:07:23 PM
Have you seen anyone or anything successful that has not encountered any negative comments from people or bodies who feel threatened? This negative comments just shows those who believe in Bitcoin are on the right path.

Every business and investment has a percentage of risk and so its Bitcoin. All those who gets furious of any little price drop are those who expects quick magic.. It's does not work that way.
If you look at the overall market there is no competition and you could only see negative comments from organization  who just want to trash bitcoin and cryptocurrency even though invest in them behind the back. We have seen many negative opinions but we cannot expect them to be the ultimate response. We have a general idea about the market but it is difficult to predict the market.
437  Economy / Economics / Re: Richest people getting ready for economic crash on: February 14, 2021, 03:48:30 PM
Richest people getting ready for economic crash.

As many instutions and banks going in crypto so they selling crypto to people to average people before crash to buy assets cheap.

Becouse when alot middle class and poor people start buying it means crash is near.
So what is your theory here, do you think the richest people are waiting for the financial crisis or the crypto market crash. There is no way you can predict how the economic situation will be in the next few months and if there is a financial crisis then you will see more investment coming in the bitcoin market as they will probably sell of their stocks if there is a correction and if you fear you have the option to stay away from the market altogether.

So the pitch curator knows what team India wanted and made it further slower I guess and also they prepared with three spinners to attack the ENG from the initial overs itself. Fortunately India won the toss this time so the captain can't blame the toss for losing if they lose this match as well from a good start.
Toss was the major factor and if England won he toss they would have gladly batted first and repeat what they did in the first match as it is difficult to bat later on and we saw how India struggled in the first match as the pitch wears down pretty fast with invariable bounce and the spinners will have a great day from the third day onwards and the morning session is crucial for India as they need to put above 400 runs to be in a comfortable position.
440  Economy / Economics / Re: Waiters/Waitresses/bellboys etc just lost their jobs on: February 13, 2021, 01:00:17 PM
I was doing a part-time job to survive and complete my graduation.
Tragically I lost my employment because of the pandemic crisis. I am lucky that I am a part of the bitcoin community and procuring more than the low maintenance occupations.
The pandemic was a bad time for everyone, i am yet to receive my full salary for the past several months and i was unlucky in terms of missing out on investing in cryptocurrency according to my plans and it revolved around the payment i was about to receive. I understand your difficulties but what i did not understand is how can you earn being part of the community just by joining campaigns ? .
