421  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have experience betting in a spider fight? on: April 22, 2019, 11:48:17 AM
This isn't popular here in Europe because there aren't many vicious spiders around here. Almost all spider species in my area are very safe to handle and not aggressive. It gets interesting when you live in Australia or South America because some spiders there are some big specimens that eat much bigger prey than flies.

With all the nature protectors in the EU I don't think it could get popular here.
He is talking about small spiders folk, the ones than can be found in the fields. I think this kinds are more in Asian countries. Not Tarantulas,  tarantulas are dangerous/poisonous and I think in your country these small spiders do not exist. And yea in EU this game could also be considered insect cruelty, lol!:D
422  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with your Parents on: April 22, 2019, 11:41:19 AM
I don't call it a gamble but only a fun game for having a little bonding time with my parents. We bet for household chores and not with real money. This way we can enjoy the game without having to think about losing money since we are a family.
Agree here. Sometimes when Manny Pacquiao has a fight, all eyes are on the event and before the day comes we would be betting inside the house on who will be the winner, sometimes money, sometimes promise of something or a treat to a restaurant for the whole family if we lose. We find it fun and I don’t see any harm in doing it.
423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Let me introduce "Ending Game" on: April 22, 2019, 11:34:02 AM
The concept is good however I don't think gamblers will care about basketball correct score which is almost impossible to predict and so the casinos have no incentive to add this game to their betting.
This is more like a lottery , some website may come up with a game like that only and ask you to predict all games and if you predict one correctly you get x prize, if two correctly x prize with the top prize being millions of dollars for the one who finds let say 7 correct scores.
No it is not a prediction based game. I know the game. The scores of both team will be broadcasted on radio or on television and I think also in the internet since the game in which the betting will be based is a national game and at the end of the game the result is shown, the winner will be decided. This is a very easy game and here there is no fraud but you cannot be a millionaire in this game though there are  big amount bettings too.
424  Economy / Economics / Re: Who is really hopeful about the future of Bitcoin and why? on: April 22, 2019, 11:01:23 AM
No one can be more hopeful than the holders. Those who aren’t don’t care but those who hold them in their wallets do hope for a better future of bitcoin specially those who’ve had a taste when it boomed at the later part of 2017. All of us that are here I believe are hopeful and why? Because we all want a better financial status in life.
425  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Inheritance Planning on: April 22, 2019, 10:04:08 AM
There could always be ways on how you could pass your bitcoin to your beneficiaries but What I was thinking here is in the event of sudden death when you were not expecting it and you’ve not prepared any of what you have in mind. It is not easy to entrust your private infos to someone even in your family specially if it is your private key while you are still very much alive. I was thinking of keeping all in an usb disc and place it together with my valuables in a safe place or in a private vault or in a bank vault. So they will be notified by the bank later about your account there.
426  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Amazon and Bitcoin on: April 21, 2019, 06:46:29 PM
I doubt if Amazon would dip their payment feet into Bitcoin soon, because of two reasons. 1. They have a strong partnership with PayPal and Credit card companies and they will not jeopardize that relationship. 2. Bitcoin are not acknowledged as a "currency", but rather as a commodity, so the legal issues and accounting problems will be significant, if they experiment with payment options that are not defined as a currency.

We might see more merchants accepting Bitcoin as a payment option, as soon as regulators sort out the regulation regarding Crypto currencies and the definition of currencies.  Wink
I don’t think it will affect their relationship with paypal and visa cards if they include cryptocurrencies in their payment means though you are right when you said that there could be an accounting problem in their part with this matter. There is a lot of crypto-users who do not have visa credit cards and though they want to purchase from Amazon they don’t have the means and they don’t find it easy using PayPal too so if they include cryptocurrency that will be great not just for crypto-users but also for an increase adoption and usage of cryptocurrency.
427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you watch the matches you're gambling on on: April 21, 2019, 06:26:07 PM
On one side it is good to watch specially if you enjoy watching the game regardless of your bets and also to know both teams so you will have an idea which team plays good for next  betting but on the other side it will just make you tensed while watching and sometimes giving you bad temper whenever you see your team making a wrong move. Me if I have the chance to watch I watch if not, I don't mind and just check the result online later.
428  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your favorite kind of lottery? on: April 21, 2019, 06:20:36 PM

What is your favorite / preferable kind of lottery:

1. Active or passive approach:

Active: you need to guess winning numbers your self (like 6/45 etc.)

Passive: just buy ticket and wait if the ticket is lucky or not

2. Odds or prize amount?

Will you choose a lottery game with higher odds but lower prize, or lower odds but huge jackpot?

3. Reasonable ticket price?

Thank you everyone who joins the discussion.

I haven’t known of your passive type of lottery where you buy tickets and wait for the result, here we buy ticket and scratch them to see if the ticket have jackpot results like cash or kinds. So I think its not called lottery.
No.2 i will choose higher odds for sure, this way chances of losing is less and ticket price is depending on how many slots you are going to take so if I want the whole card to be shaded that will be a lot of money so it still depend on your own currency and your slots.
429  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are some unique advantages of online gambling ? on: April 21, 2019, 06:12:30 PM
In addition to all the advantages that they mentioned is with online you don’t have to go out of your comfort zone, you can do it even on bed, on your couch or anywhere you want in the house. You don’t need to get up fix yourself and travel but you can do it in your own convenient time and place as long as you have the internet connection and the device and the means to play of course. (I mean money or cryptocurrency)
430  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is an entertainment? on: April 21, 2019, 06:07:18 PM
If it doesn’t hurt their pockets and they are enjoying it then I believe it is entertainment   Cheesy.
It still depends on how it affects the person that plays. Some play for entertainment and some do for profit, for the purpose of making their money double. If it happens this way then gambling can be considered both for profit and for entertainment but its not like that. Those who’ve lost a lot considered gambling as a curse for sure.  Grin
431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling turn an atheist to theist and superstitious? on: April 21, 2019, 06:01:20 PM
What's your opinion, do you believe in God/power that you think may help you win? I think gambling has the potential to turn an atheist into theist because of fear/risk it has. Smiley

I believe in God so I believe that God involves in everything that I do/get. In case of gambling no matter when I win or lose, I believe that God has his plan on it. I cant say it is a God's power, but all is planned by God already.
For those who believe in God they must also know that God does not approve gambling so if you still do and pray and you win, I don’t think God made it happen. It happened because of chance but no God’s will involved there, that is only in preparation for your incoming loses.
432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with your Parents on: April 21, 2019, 05:55:03 PM
I think there is a specification on this. Gambling with family will be best in bowling and there is this what they call “peria” in my place where different kinds of classic gambling like dice, tossing coins, darting and a lot more can be found every time festivals are approaching and not serious gambling like casinos and other card games which involve big amount of money and of course parents must play responsively and will be keeping an eye on the children’s direction too.
433  Economy / Speculation / Re: Has the market completely recovered on: April 21, 2019, 05:45:22 PM
Can it be called bull run already? I think its still a long way ahead to bull run but who knows though the market has not yet been knocked out totally but it amazes to us to see the movement in the market spiked a little. Waiting for a more better changes these coming months.
434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Airdrops are worth it !!!! on: April 21, 2019, 05:34:23 PM
I also used to hate airdrops because of the fact that most of them are fake just like what you’ve said but then for curiosity sake, there were lots of airdop advertisement that passed through my wall in facebook and I tried some of them with out really hoping for the payment. Just to find out and just lately I notice there are coins in my wallet that are unfamiliar to me and guess what, they are in exchanges already with corresponding fiat equivalent in my wallet.
435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty campaign is becoming absolutely useless. on: April 21, 2019, 05:27:02 PM
I’m not saying that you are wrong totally but I think it is not fair to that kind of conclusion since not all social media bounty campaigns participants are using bought accounts. Mine is organic both twitter and Facebook and it took me years to grow my followers in both social medias, not as much followers as you’ve mentioned above though but I don’t think if not be avoided I have bot followers.
436  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling - A Game of Luck or Strategy on: April 21, 2019, 05:11:46 PM
Well, how do you define a successful gambler by the way? Every person that engage in gambling have different goal though majority’s goal is to win but let us also consider those who play for time pass and don’t even care about their loses. All they care about is the enjoyment and the activities they are doing while they are playing. So if a successful gambler is the one that wins more than lose then I doubt there is and if they are the ones that enjoy with out minding their loses then that is also another category.
437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have experience betting in a spider fight? on: April 21, 2019, 05:03:26 PM
The game is for children though. I have seen this game, though there are adults that curiously watching and cheering for their choice of spider but then children play them. If spider fighting will be accepted as gambling game for adults then why not? Its fun to watch them fight by the way though you can find this game in rural areas since spiders can be found there (this type of spiders).
438  Economy / Speculation / Re: No bull market for 2019 on: April 21, 2019, 04:34:59 PM
Don't believe on anyone's word when it is related to crypto currency because everyone will look for their benefits so they can maniuplate the prices by giving these predictions.

If no bull run on 2019,it will happen in 2020 or in 2021 or even later but it will happen. Wink
If predictions do something good for the price then bull run must have taken place already since almost everybody is predicting that it will happen this year and even later part of 2018 but all their predictions didn’t happen yet and despite all those predictions and speculations  there is not much changes in the market condition so I don’t believe any of them that are predicting but I do believe it is surely gonna happen sooner or later.
439  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin be worthless? on: April 21, 2019, 04:27:05 PM
Definitely yes. If all transactions stop in bitcoin to the point of reaching zero in value then it is worthless but as long as there is you and me patronizing it, using, buying, selling and trading it it will never reach zero value and therefore it will not be worthless. To answer your question is yes but to answer if it will be worthless is no because majority believes in it.
440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Vs Trading on: April 21, 2019, 04:21:02 PM
Most of the time I use bounty to earn my coins and then If i already have acquired enough can also be traded but trading requires a lot of time and focus and if you are good enough in it you can lose what you have so it still depends on you in what will be more convenient and more profitable for you. If you have Higher rank you can apply in good paying bounty campaigns that pay in bitcoin by using signature but sadly you are not yet qualified for that.
