As I asked in one of the thread on the new board,

Why would anybody start using that forum when there is already an established forum full of users here at bitcointalk.org? What will you do differently to set you apart from this forum?
442  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] BTC-BOND - 0.03% Daily on: September 26, 2013, 04:53:24 PM
Nice, we can trade it publicily again.

I assume it will process both asset migrating and liquidating at 10/7 from the announcement.
It would be a good solution if a vote is taken to measure the user option on the above choices just to keep things butter smooth. Thanks Smiley

Why would you need a vote? You get to chose the option that you like, there is no need to force other people into an option that does not work as well for them!

OK, I will give it a try.

I still have 573 BTC-BONDs but now trading is frozen and I can't internally transfer to the issuer to get my money back.

What am I supposed to do?
You can wait for Namworld to get back this week and see what will he do on moving exchange or claiming asset. Or you can do private asset transfer between people if you are going to liquidate your asset in urgent.

I don't think you can transfer the assets, since the asset is currently locked. But I suppose you could make a private agreement with somebody where you promise to transfer the shares as soon as it is unlocked?
445  Economy / Securities / Re: FeedZeBirds UPDATE Feb 9, 2013 on: September 26, 2013, 01:15:37 PM
Hey guys,

This is still in progress. Original developer project collapsed and I've had to restart it. I'm spending a considerable amount to make a beautiful new site/service, totally redone.

Will post more when there is something to show. I know this has taken forever, but it will rise like a phoenix.

-Erik

Any word on this? Are you ever going to refund shareholders?
446  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] Virtual Community Exchange [WINDING DOWN] on: September 25, 2013, 07:41:40 PM
IMPORTANT NOTICE TO USERS OF BTCT AND LITECOIN GLOBAL

Please make sure you set your public withdrawal address on BTCT and Litecoin Global and you are in control of this address. Team CipherMine and other asset issuers on BTCT and Litecoin-Global may ask you to provide proof of ownership of this address by signing a message. This is necessary to identify you as shareholder after BTCT and Litecoin Global have shut down.

Please take a look at the following post on bitcointalk.org for more information, details and instructions of this process:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=283947.msg3233637#msg3233637
{I increased font-size for visibility}

This is now the best idea I've read since the announcement.

Great step-by-step instructions dexX7.

And for the love of your coins, please do it, people. I have seen many, many blanks in the public address area of the lists of shareholders for the assets I manage.

Please, Burnside, Please, please please send this information out as an email to all btct users. If there is anybody who does not check these forums often they might not realize anything is going on. Why was the announcement not sent as an email in the first place?
447  Economy / Securities / Re: ATTENTION clueless noobs/btct "investors" on: September 25, 2013, 01:54:52 PM
I really wish i could down vote MPOE-PR on this site.

While MPOE-PR's tone is often grating, she speaks wisdom more often than not. There are many scams haunting this forum, and it is good to have somebody pointing them out.

Can you give an update on how things stand now, things seem to be settling down some, and I would assume you picked up some shares at firesale prices, so what is the fund NAV looking like now?
449  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] TAT.ASICMINER New Micro-share Passthrough! on: September 24, 2013, 06:04:56 PM
Well, I suppose there is no other way than to create account at HavelockInvestments.com or Bitfunder.com.

Or you could make an agreement with somebody who has an account at one of those exchanges to trade your shares in return for monetary compensation, or Asicminer direct shares.
450  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] BitVPS on: September 24, 2013, 03:17:17 PM

PS: Bitfunder sucks+1

Yes, If you will relist on another exchange, I suggest looking at Havelock. But I wouldn't mind BitFunder so much, if they give you a better deal on getting relisted you should take it.
451  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] BTC-BOND - 0.03% Daily on: September 24, 2013, 03:13:14 PM
Anybody know a way to contact Namworld? He is one of the few asset issuers who has not made any statements since the BTCT shutdown was announced, and he certainly missed a huge opportunity to buy back this loan at much less than face value.
452  Economy / Securities / Re: [IPVO] [Multiple Exchanges] Neo & Bee - LMB Holdings on: September 24, 2013, 01:11:49 PM
No VCs please.

Aren't we all VCs? We are investing our capital into the start up of this venture.
453  Economy / Securities / Re: [IPVO] [Multiple Exchanges] Neo & Bee - LMB Holdings on: September 23, 2013, 11:35:03 PM
You have two options, BTCT.co is not one of them unfortunately.

Well there must be one more option otherwise there will be some shares stuck in a limbo and we wouldnt want that right ? Iam not trying to be pain in the ass on purpose here, but you must let people either transfer it as direct shares to BTC address, or to wait until some date when everyone who wants to transfer to havelock/BF and then force buy back on remaining ones.

Why? I just set up an account on havelock and it took about 10 seconds, really easy.
454  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] Virtual Community Exchange [WINDING DOWN] on: September 23, 2013, 10:42:49 PM
I tried withdrawing my funds, msg says trading halted.

Did you add the "public bitcoin address" yet?
455  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] BTC Growth: Capital Growth via Hedge Fund-Style Investing on: September 23, 2013, 03:54:21 PM
I know that BitFunder has some option to recover/import shares already. On the account page, there's an option to "claim shares", where in my case it says that no shares were found linked to my email address (which is true) and there's an option to fill in a different email address to claim shares from (presumably it will send some verification code to that email address to verify ownership). I don't know if Havelock has a similar feature.

IIRC, that was set up specifically for GLBSE.

I can imagine it will be extended to also include BTCT imports now.

There was one asset, Bakewell, which transfered from BTCT to BitFunder several months ago, the process was pretty quick and easy. The issuer of that asset later tried to run away with the shareholders money, but that is a different issue entirely.

Paging MPOE-PR to tell us all "I told you so"
457  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] BTC Growth: Capital Growth via Hedge Fund-Style Investing on: September 23, 2013, 01:15:13 PM
Valueing everything at bid price is a bad way to do things at the moment.

It's exactly the right thing to do at the moment, because that -- and only that -- provides an indication of the fund's liquid net value. When some assets are likely to be wiped out entirely (BTC-TRADING-PT, for example), nobody cares what the 7-day moving average or 30-day moving average might be.

I took the time to release a special interim report immediately so that participants could have quantitative facts in front of them, right now, telling them exactly where we stand. Will things change over the next few hours and days? Of course they will, and hopefully for the better -- but that doesn't make it "a bad way to do things" to have given the specific, quantitative information as quickly as humanly possible.

OK, I see your point, it is the only meaningful observable data to assign a number to the portfolio value. I guess my point is more that the situation is in a state of high flux, and that number will change rapidly as people learn about the order book being wiped and start to add more bids at higher and higher points, so selling now at 80% price would be unwise for people holding this fund.
458  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] Virtual Community Exchange [WINDING DOWN] on: September 23, 2013, 01:05:54 PM
Why would you lock the stocks again? If people want to cut their losses, they should be able to do so. NEOBEO is locked but thankfully I sold for a small loss early and use what was left to martingale back the loss so I'm back where I started and won't have to wait weeks for this shit to work itself out like other holders who now have no say in the matter.

NEOBEE has equivalent offerings on BitFunder and Havelock already. Why would you sell for a loss? The obvious solution is for TAT to allow all BTCT users to transfer their shares to one of the other exchanges, so there is no need to lose anything from this.
459  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] TAT.ASICMINER New Micro-share Passthrough! on: September 23, 2013, 12:52:20 PM
I am sure TAT will allow transfers to AM100. What else would he do?

He could move the whole security to BitFunder and carry on as normal. The way BTCT is set up was supposed to make exiting easy, since there was the whole GLBSE closedown disaster he put policies in place that would make it easy to keep an asset going even if the exchange went down.
460  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] BTC Growth: Capital Growth via Hedge Fund-Style Investing on: September 23, 2013, 12:49:57 PM
Valueing everything at bid price is a bad way to do things at the moment. Burnsides just wiped the order book, so naturally the bids are very sparse. Let things settle a little bit, move this to Havelock or BitFunder and carry on as normal. You went to great lengths saying the money was spread among various platforms, lets see if that strategy works as well you said it would.
