Hi dev,

I am a buyer of crowd sale using btc. what shoul I do if I want sell some maids now?

Thanks.

I'm not the dev but you could send your coins via Omniwallet to Poloniex.

If you want to sell them then you can do that there.

How could I get the coins from the crowd sale btc address ?

thanks

I'm not sure I understand the question.

Are you asking how to send the Maidsafe coins from your BTC wallet that you purchased from the crowdsale?

You should have them if that is the case...please clarify...

Mine hasn't been staking since 19th.  Undecided

Left my computer on for all day too and nothing. It has been over 10 days and I haven't received a dime. Not even staking anymore it feels pointless. I'll try again after next wallet upgrade.

That stinks.
My staking has been working/staking just fine since day 1.
Everyday new BAY.
Hope you get it sorted out.

To the original poster, try creating a new address and sending all your coins to yourself.  This will make a single, larger input of coins with a better chance at staking (since coinAge is no longer a variable).

As you suggested I tried sending 2 & then 300 Bay to myself to test it and I haven't received it nor did it disappear from my account. I'm not sure what is going on. It just shows the fee.

I have been staking consistently since the wallet was made available.  I am wondering if you updated correctly?  Did you create a new wallet address before you sent to yourself (might be a dumb question but I don't see it in the screenshots)?  Is your wallet encrypted but not open for staking?

There are a few possibilities here...

Gems registration process in action

Everything looks cool but there is a part of me that feels that the use of Snowden and Satoshi's names in the demo comes across as an arrogant presumption on their endorsement...which is non existent at this point.  They're real people and neither have said anything one way or the other regarding this project.

It should be reconsidered in my opinion.

Therefor my questions are

How many mastercoins did the Maidsafe team get from the IPO?

What is/was the current plan for all the Mastercoins that the Maidsafe team has at the moment?

The answer, at least in part, is contained within this link...which I'll quote despite posting the link earlier on this page.

Quote
“his part is easy, it is much more equivalent to $3M in todays cash if we were to convert it,” … Wasn’t the total amount more like $6M ? Where did the $3M valuation come from? At which point in time?
At finish of crowdsale it was estimated to be $4 Million in MSC and $3 Million of BTC. The reference to $3 Million was a question of if you liquidated all the crypto immediately.

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Oo8bYKRarkG7S0YUJgP_-8Izkks9EZ1j_0bQ8dz6ahM/edit
[more]
I think the issue regarding a hardfork of MSC by community members is a serious one if I don't misunderstand completely.  I have no idea how many of the MSC is currently retained by Maidsafe but they are using the funds raised by the crowdsale to fund development (they have hired new developers/annual salary of $40,000ish).

A CounterParty/Mastercoin battle (note - I do not think that this is from CounterParty officialdom but rather investors who might be frustrated with MSC or who see an opportunity) could potentially disrupt progress on Maidsafe development.  Why would anyone want that?

Please correct me if I am overstating things or am not interpreting correctly.  From what I have read this seems to be a new issue with some potentially non impactful or really impactful "solutions" to a problem that I am not confident is an issue with regards to Maidsafe.
447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] IPO of MaidSafe:  Entering the Future of the Decentralized Internet on: December 01, 2014, 03:36:32 AM
glad to see the huge price rise of maid.
why not the msc?

Maidsafe will be equal to Safecoin when the Safe Network goes live.  The price rise is based on the continued progress of development, now in TestNet2, of the Safe Network.

MSC has nothing to do Maidsafe other than it is hosting the token until the exchange happens.  So the price of MSC is not necessarily a relevant point of concern.

The last several posts on this page seem to be from a group of people more concerned with the "Counterparty vs Mastercoin 2.0 battle"...when Maid switches to Safecoin there will be no more association with MSC on a technical level.  So why is there any impetus for action here?  I don't speak for Maid nor am I anything more than a guy who was hitting refresh every second before the crowdsale went live (for BTC) but I don't think that MSC is so poorly managed that Maidsafe tokens are in any danger.

I'm starting to wonder if this newly cropped up issue is the reason for the flash crash recently...which is mostly recovered at this point...

It seems that you guys are not quite satisfied with the escrow. I just deposited another 0.2 BTC into it. So now in total, it's 0.5 BTC. I hope this is enough, because our payment will be done on a weekly basis.

It seems reasonable to me if the escrow is meant to support a possible default on a weekly payment which in addition to the effort demonstrated for the sig design contest is enough for me to think that this is a serious effort on your part.

I have no concerns in the least nor did I when the escrow was .3btc...

Considering that there is a request for a thread deletion, I am assuming that this campaign is closed.  I switched signatures accordingly.

Thank you!

This website completely reminds me of the Million Dollar Homepage that was made famous in 2005 (it's actually still up but I am unsure how much use it gets)...

He caused quite the uproar back in the day...

453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BitBay |Decentralized Marketplace|Smart Contracts|IoT Tech|Markets Open on: November 27, 2014, 11:33:41 PM
I think the idea of a decentral marketplace is very good. But the problem i see is, that u dont need a special altcoin for that. Like ebay, where u dont need only dollar to sell and buy things. So ... what could be the future of bitbay's? U can make a marketplace trading fee. And all bitbays holder get some of this fee. So would be a reason to buy bitbays to get some interest.

I wonder if it would be strategic to allow BTC in the marketplace but add some kind of implicit discount or a combination of other benefits for the use of Bay.  Use of the marketplace could then occur more quickly.

Just a thought...

It looks awesome.  Per the recording, re: release without the features if "you guys want it" - please finish the details you want included.  I know updates happen but please release something that you are happy with and not something that is released because the community was/is itchy.

Looking forward...

There is no need to identify him and force him into the public spotlight.

A bounty would be better served doxxing Congress...of whatever nation.
