441  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Wasabi Wallet - Open Source, Noncustodial Coinjoin Software on: February 26, 2024, 01:00:52 PM
It's decent idea, phone usually use more battery when there's no strong mobile signal. I don't know how it can be implemented either, but i believe Wasabi team have sufficient technical skill to do that. Although i wonder how much battery can be saved when you use Wifi rather than mobile internet.

This option exists, but not so much to save the battery, but when it comes to updating applications, and the purpose is to avoid downloading too large files over the mobile Internet because these are often limited by mobile providers with such data consumption.

As far as I know, multimedia is the biggest drainer of the battery, and in the mentioned Wasabi case, it would only be text communication, so that part should not be a problem for battery capacity. For the application, I assume that some kind of customized Tor bridge could do something like this with minimum requirements.

443  Economy / Reputation / Re: dkbit98: Testnet coins are FREE are worthless! on: February 26, 2024, 12:43:15 PM

More tBTC used for financial purpose which makes less place/people have ability or liquidity to continue offer tBTC for free. If more project ask for tBTC, i expect it'll also affect raise difficulty/hashrate on tBTC network.

I believe that sometimes teams want to do testing as soon as possible, so they would rather pay tBTC than spend time to find for free.

Is it possible that one of the shortcomings of testnet coins comes from the fact that hardly anyone returns them to the network after testing? They just leave them where they are because they are worthless.
444  Economy / Reputation / Re: What Sort of Signature is "FUCK Royse777"? on: February 26, 2024, 11:45:05 AM
Why is it that when people create these topics it usually ends up in the OP getting neg trust? Now a self admitted cheater outs himself. When will people learn?

Because such dramas are mostly initiated by unstable and conflicted persons and for nothing else they come here. Most often it's not the first shit they do here and it's easy to recognize. Except for those who create a new account for such purposes.
445  Economy / Gambling / Re: [SOLVED] Betnomi | Project status & Refund Plan! on: February 25, 2024, 08:16:16 PM
Many users have posted enough evidence in the past. There was even a case when Betnomi was extortion one of their customers with their passport, but nobody on the forum from de DT group cares about that at the time.

All I see from you are some statements "many" and "many users", nothing concrete and clear. So present the evidence you mention. Any DT will not and should not judge anyone based on a random person from the internet who repeats the mantra "many people scammed".
In the same way, I can also mark you as a scammer and claim that you have deceived many people. And claim that there are many proofs of that. But it doesn't have to be like that.

My words have much more value then all these DT jokes who only got DT because they have friends with DT status and fraud for some money, and yes, you are one of them as well. You don't have any knowledge about the situation and your reaction implicits you are defending Betnomi. You DT members think you are smart, but you are all just a big joke with an IQ of not even 60

If you look at the Betnomi account, you will see several negative feedbacks left by DT members and that is the maximum they can do against someone. I also left them negative feedback and I am certainly not defending them, but trying to defend the common sense that you lack.
446  Economy / Services / Re: R7 Promotions 💹📈 Bitcointalk Campaign Management 💪🔥 Signature & Bounty on: February 25, 2024, 03:10:35 PM
Please check your BTC wallet. You all are paid and with that I am now debt free from all of you. Long story short, I am glad that all of you kept your patience and trusted the decision to find the good end. Thank you.

I confirm that I have received this payment. More than fair after all.
thanks
447  Economy / Gambling / Re: [SOLVED] Betnomi | Project status & Refund Plan! on: February 25, 2024, 01:29:40 PM
Betnomi has scammed many, many customers. Many also have reported them, but Betnomi just write that the terms are violated and that there was fraud. Or bets were placed to exploit the system. They used all kind of excuses so that they don't pay out players. From the beginning I warned people about this site. I got red tagged by DT members, but when they reliase I was right, then they removed the red tag. DT members should be cleaned, there are many clowns here on the forum with a DT status who don't know anything about gambling and just write to get paid. And because of them, many people got scammed since they defended Betnomi for a long time because Betnomi paid them to continue their fraud! These DT members defended all the scam accusations, Royse777 is the biggest clown of all. That idiot should be removed from his DT status, since he was also involved and the owner of bitlucy, another scam site.

If you have information and evidence, then post it here, I don't know why further speculation. At the same time, regardless of Betnomi's status, you do not have a sufficient reputation here for us to take your word for it.
What do you expect from DT members, to pay off someone's debts?
In the end, Betnomi or whoever is behind it decided to settle the debts owed to Bitcointalk users. Certainly, the reputation system here influenced that decision.
448  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Forget about exchanger search! Use BestChange! on: February 25, 2024, 01:16:59 PM
As far as I know, Ad blockers usually block or target just ads. Maybe my wording wasn't right. We could just call it a notification or alert.  Wink

Pop-ups are most often used for ads. Whether it is called an ad blocker or a popup blocker is less important. The purpose and principle of the work are the same, and as far as I know, usually, it is coded with JavaScript.

On the flip side, this would safeguard the users if the exchanger decided to go rouge.

There could be a softer notification for an ongoing dispute that is being resolved, vs a warning for negative feedback where an exchanger maybe have not even offered a viable resolution.

I followed some services on BC that had negative feedback a couple of times. There was an issue on which the exchanger had no influence, but after a while, it was positively resolved. In the meantime, that red feedback was visible. So, during those days or two of solving the problem, the same exchanger would suffer significant damage if it were displayed through alert windows to BC users. And as I said, initially they did not cause the problem.
449  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Loan defaulted by [lemipawa] on: February 25, 2024, 02:58:36 AM
Right now known alt account is lemipawa, DaddyMonsi, nydiacaskey01, mubadala[/color][/b]

Can you provide references where it is indicated that they are alt accounts?
I supported your flags, but for them to survive and to leave a negative tag on each of them, I would like to see confirmation that the exposed accounts are from the same owner.

I checked all of the reported accounts and none of those were active after 2022. If I'm not wrong then that guy might have other alt-accounts as well. It's funny to see that a member with such high rank alt-accounts defaulted the loan and runaway like a coward. At least now those alts of that person are known, which's a good thing for others to be safe from such members.

The scammer just sold 4 accounts for 0.0612BTC, which are unusable after the loan default accusation. Since they have been inactive for almost two years, it is unlikely that they will deceive anyone else. Unfortunately the bad judgment of the lender.

451  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do we even need bitcoin mixers? on: February 24, 2024, 09:49:48 AM
What do you mean we are using bitcoin to avoid taxes? I think we need to have privacy even from the government because maybe one day the government will confiscate our property without any reason . But I don't think using bitcoin is to avoid taxes and it's not a good move. If everyone uses bitcoin to avoid taxes , what would the country be like without taxes?

If you pay more attention, you will see that I gave an example of why someone would use a mixer.
I apologize for not stating that it is not financial advice.

In addition, if owning a large amount of assets is very dangerous for us . So, people with assets up to tens of millions of dollars, billions of dollars still trade on those centralized exchanges. Are they in danger and are they unaware of those dangers? I mean it could still happen but it wouldn't be as severe as you describe.

Whoever keeps millions on a centralized exchange is an idiot, period.
452  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Forget about exchanger search! Use BestChange! on: February 24, 2024, 09:43:56 AM
How about a pop-up window warning the users about a recent negative feedback or an ongoing dispute right before they get redirected to the site?
I understand that such pop-up windows will allow users to be informed in a timely manner and will give them a choice whether they want to take a little risk. But won't this complicate the system? Which will also need to monitor all current controversial issues.

Completely unnecessary for several reasons.
Pop-up windows can be disabled due to an ad blocker in the browser. So it is not a reliable method.

Also, a popup with some notification, where negative feedback is in the foreground, will most likely look like a warning. No one will certainly continue the exchange on that service. Sometimes there is red feedback, but the process is ongoing, so it would be unfair to punish the exchanger in this way, even though he is trying to solve a certain problem.

As far as I have observed on Bestchange, if the problems are frequent or there are unresolved user complaints, such exchangers will be excluded from monitoring. The possibility of someone choosing them even without such warnings is reduced.
453  Economy / Reputation / Re: Standing Strong Against Unjust Attacks: A Call for Community Support on: February 24, 2024, 09:30:46 AM

A few questions and comments on the bugs that JackpotRacer found.
What can you tell us about the timer reset bug? Are you working on it, has it been fixed, do you not want to fix it?
JackpotRacer does not have a case, but he did find several bugs. You fixed some, but the timer reset seems to be a major one that directly influences the outcome of a round. If that is true, you shouldn't be hosting real-money games until that is fixed.

Whatever they did with this, I don't believe they will publicly present the current situation here. Imagine if they said here that they haven't fixed the bug yet, wouldn't that encourage potential scammers to start abusing this bug?
Also, if they had solved the issue, I guess that they would have announced it officially because the avoidance of the answer can be interpreted differently.
454  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud Mining recommendations on: February 24, 2024, 09:11:39 AM
Investors avoid cloud mining because it has become associated with scam. it is about trusting a service that will buy mining equipment and giving you a portion of the profits. Companies usually do not do that and there is nothing that forces them to return your investment.

Cloud mining is a scam and the best you might get is buying hash power at NiceHash DYOR, but it is not the same as cloud mining.

Cloud mining does not exist as a regular business. Just a new name for a new scam scheme.
I believe that one-day cloud mining will take a place in the negative side of history like Ponzi and pyramidal schemes and that it will get its own Wikipedia pages. Ordinary users are persecuted with KYC and every coin that is sent is checked, while these cloud scams continue to exist undisturbed.
455  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do we even need bitcoin mixers? on: February 23, 2024, 08:10:52 PM
To be honest, I don't see reasons for me to mix my Bitcoin. That doesn't mean I don't care about my privacy. Of course, I am concerned about my privacy, but how will others know about my holdings? Let's say I withdraw from Binance to my BTC address. So they know who owns this bitcoin. What makes that risky for me?

just a few examples
Your government can ask for insight in order to collect taxes.
Some insiders can sell your information to bad people from your environment, so if you have a significant amount, it can create a lot of inconvenience in life. If you were to sell the house and get cash, you certainly wouldn't feel safe if everyone around you knew you had xx amount in your hands.
456  Economy / Reputation / Re: What Sort of Signature is "FUCK Royse777"? on: February 23, 2024, 12:29:19 PM
I have been dealing with hatred from long time. Members like airfinex (obviously alt but we don't know who is his main), GazitaBitcoin, JollyGood, Poker Player (the level of hatred reduced though) and a few more not so popular members (maximum two to three) always use every chance they have to spread bad publicity about me. Among these haters airfinex and GazitaBitcoin has high chance, because these guys were innovative in their efforts. The offering could be a new addition LOL

Probably a miscalculation. Everyone you mentioned has already publicly expressed their views towards you, I don't see why they would hide behind something like this. I would rather say that you have new antagonists.
457  Economy / Services / Re: [Open] OddJobsforBitcoin Signature Space for Rent on: February 23, 2024, 12:16:19 PM
I highly doubt that. A signature campaign participant would barely spend on something like this. They would rather create new account and wear the signature themselves after ranking up.

But if things don't look exactly as they are presented here?
Is it possible that the OP's is an alt account from a "dissatisfied" participant? The OP created another topic in the reputation board, to deepen this drama, everything seems to me like a passive attack on Royse's reputation.
How likely is it that someone will offer money for a signature space to an account that has been quite inactive until now?

A perfidious way to smear someone, while no one is exposed and there will be no consequences for future participation in campaigns.
Maybe I am just paranoid.
458  Economy / Services / Re: [Open] OddJobsforBitcoin Signature Space for Rent on: February 23, 2024, 11:35:30 AM
Here's their ad:

Code:
FUCK Royse777
Why am I so popular LOL
Seriously, what did I do?

I believe that this is part of the dissatisfaction expressed in the Telegram group. Some are not satisfied with your work but still do not want to lose their position in future campaigns. Anonymous anti-campaign is always the answer to such a thing.
Regardless, I believe that you should have found a better way to handle the disputed issue.

460  Economy / Services / Re: [available] Free Website Designing Service For Campaign Managers on: February 22, 2024, 04:43:35 PM
There's 4-5 CM's so if there's interest l'll get samples prepared or design something to CM request. Wordpress isn't suitable for CM bio there's lighter options to cover pages of info & promos. It shouldn't be longer than 10-15 hours work to finish.

Isn't WP an easier management solution for non-technical people?
For example, managers must know the code if they want to do an update later. And their portfolio changes from time to time, it is necessary to add new projects they are working on and so on...

I've said reasons in OP why I'm offering CM's my free service if ppl think it's a strategy to get accepted I don't mind they're free.

I just told you what your offer looks like. You have offered a free service to those who make perhaps the most money from this forum. I don't think some of them don't have their website because $50 or $100 is too expensive for an HTML landing page.

I don't want to make discussion for web dev services I'm offering [available] Web Development & Technical Services because I'll use it like ads page.

It seems that you didn't understand this very well either, this is still a forum, not classifieds.
But it's your business, your thing.
