yes, Liverpool is one of the strong candidates for the Europa League. we still haven't seen the teams that will enter the playoff round from those eliminated from the Champions League. we cannot underestimate the teams that will enter the play-off round. but Liverpool with the remaining matches I think will be easy for them to win. and they will qualify for the next round. they have a fairly easy group and their performance this season has made quite an improvement over last season.
Liverpool is very much in a good form this season because they have been really performing well in almost all the league they are in, including the premier League, there taget this season is to win two trophies which is Europa and premier league and based on there performance on there Europa group they have more upper chances of winning the league because even in there group they have been maintaining the first position since day one.

Also there only rival on premier league is Manchester City because Manchester City is very strong that the possibility of Liverpool winning them is very low but however if Liverpool eventually wins they automatically become the first position on the premier league table. So they are really performing really well this season so however even if they were unable to win the two trophies but I'm sure that they will surely wins one.

Liverpool on the last recent games have not been doing well when playing away with 2 lost games and one draw and even that loss against Toulouse was catastrophic to say the least,I never understood how can a team who dominate the game at home and wins 5-1 to not be able to contest in the return game where they lost and was the biggest surprise of Europa League of that night.

In Premier League is different, they are fighting but even if they lose against Manchester City they are still in the fight for the title while in Europa League they should be very careful indeed as when we get into elimination stage another shameful disaster like that against Toulouse and they are out of the tournament.

But what difference does it make for Liverpool now? I think that loss against Toulouse doesn't really matter and it could also be observed that Liverpool wasn't playing the best they could. The fans aren't supposed to like that they lost, but in realistic terms Liverpool is going to finish that group as the first. They would have to have a whole lot of issues to mess this up and not finish first.

But down the line I think that Liverpool is one of the few candidates that can be deemed favorites to win the Europa League. But favorite doesn't mean they will, it is just that they are probably the strongest team with the highest tension in their national league besides Bayer Leverkusen.

But this is kind of a short-sighted way of looking at things. I am not offending you, but there are so many young players that do not get injured. It is a factor and I agree with that, but players are also extremely different in responding to physical stress and sometimes it is just plain brutal attacks against a joint or other part of the body, which doesn't have much to do with fatigue. But I think all these games with the national teams are too much because there is not only all of this qualification stuff for the World Cup and the European Championship, but also the Nations League and then sometimes friendly games. I think this could be reduced, but I guess there is money involved and every organization wants a piece of the pie.

Real Madrid is going through this with Vinicius Junior as well and know what it means for a player to be out for such a long time. It's nasty for everyone.
Injury is one occurrence that affects the player and his team squarely, It occurs as a result of so many conditions that the players generally have to pass through. Although, there's what they call injury prone and non-injury prone players. Not all players experience injuries as frequent as some players while some players are unlucky to just be caught in the web and this would keep them out of the pitch for a long while.

Unending stress is a very big cause of injuries, no rest, no breaks, always active on the pitch playing and earning, now there are domestic games and international games too, but it tends to be that there are a whole lot of international games and this games as they come do not give the players time to rest because after each one, they'll still have to travel for the next contest.

All these affects the physical system of the players and the ones that are not too strong to combat the stress are then prone to injuries, It's sad that some teams would have to endure the injury situation and the players would have to take some time to regain their health and stamina to play again.

The problem from not having enough time to rest is indeed becoming more serious as all competitions are supposed to be expanded further. Did anyone know that the Champions League groups will become bigger I think next season? I don't have the exact details now and I am a bit lazy to look them up, but as far as I know there will be more games in the Champions League as well. The total number of games that a professional player has to play is approaching an insane number and there are all these journeys from hotel to hotel. The games with their national teams are supposed to be more stressful as well when international tournaments are spread throughout continents and many countries.

Sevilla playing in the Europa League will no longer surprise us; they always play in this competition and always dominate it over all other teams who compete in it. After winning the Europa League last season and receiving automatic qualification to the Champions League, I expected them to play and perform incredibly well in the Champions League, just as they did in the Europa League. Their chances of qualifying are very slim because they wasted some opportunity that would have given them an advantage. Due to the number of talented clubs that will compete if they return to the Europa League, it will be a highly intriguing competition to watch at the knockout stage of the competition. For Liverpool and Leverkusen, they seem to be a very dominant team in the competition so far and are also worthy of winning the Europa League title amongst the number of many teams involved in the competition.

I think this is still a major difference between the Europa League and the Champions League. What Sevilla has done in the Europa League last season given how they played in La Liga, is a very rare occurrence. There have been teams not doing that well in their leagues, but still did quite well in the Champions League. But the way that Sevilla was winning round after round in the Europa League while struggling in La Liga so hard that they temporarily had to be thinking about the relegation zone, I think this is not something I have seen happening in the Champions League.

I did not expect Sevilla to do particularly well in the Champions League for that reason. At some point if a team is constantly fighting quality battles, it is because they don't have enough of it and in the Champions League, having quality is a must.

You see these European Competitions and games are so overwhelming and suffocating, they have lead to too many games played seeing players fatigued and stressed leading to long term injuries too. I feel dad for Barcelona and most importantly Gavi who will miss the rest of the season and the chance to play in his first Euro's for Spanish national team.

Gavi is not the only player who has been given this exact fee for having been Injured, same share has also being assigned to Camavinga who was also Injured during the international break. Both positions in the different clubs will miss this players both. Real Madrid also have sent his heart felt sympathies to be strong.

Obviously there will be a lot of people who hate this, and those who say what FIFA is doing is legitimate can be sure they are part of it and benefit personally.
This clearly hurts fair play in football, and isn't that what should be upheld?
Why is there a policy or regulation if they are the ones who violate it? better there is no policy or regulation at all.
I know that business in football is not a new thing, but that business must benefit all parties, not instead there are other parties who feel disadvantaged.

I don't know why everyone is surprised by this decision. Actually, the FIFA reserves a maximum of up to €7.5 million for one play up to 365 days, which equates to €20,548 per day for an injured player if they get injured during the World Cup qualification games during the 2023-2026 period.

All of this can be read here

This has nothing to do with giving an advantage to Barcelona exclusively. This is an agreed upon program established by the FIFA after reaching consensus among all participants. The program is called the "Club Protection Program".

Next match, Manchester City will face Liverpool and trend for City keep in the winning result or they will loss points and loss first standing place. Most excited match but many rumor with Manchester City will loss their player regarding injury after playing on international break out match with their national team.
Discussing the competition between Liverpool and Man City will be very interesting not only during the match because outside the competition Liverpool are now at the forefront in encouraging UEFA to re-raise Man City 115 Financial Fair Play allegations. Pep Guardiola and Klopp rivalry is the most anticipated match this weekend. Remembering that Liverpool and Man City would not have achieved such extraordinary performances without this great coach. In my opinion Man City and Liverpool will both maximize the match with the remaining squad. Because the impact of the international break has become a tradition leading players who contribute to the club will experience risks.
Now we have less than three days for this match which is going to have big impact on Premier League as two best teams are facing each other and heat is already on with UEFA FFP allegations even things are still under control, but this is surely going to be at the top after few days Pep Guardiola having challenge from Jürgen Klopp in last few years, and mostly we watch Manchester City overcome every time with January win is surely big one.

Liverpool is trying to overcome from the shadow of the Manchester City in last few matches their defense is working impressive, and now they need to hold Haaland and company as well if they are able to do then surely we can expect the toughest end of this season for the both teams at the top but current result bring down any team from top ranks as well.

It's questionable whether these Financial Fair Play issues are distracting Manchester City in any way because they are living and performing with this sword of Damocles over their head for so many years now and nothing happened. I think they got used to these allegations, the pressure and also any ongoing investigation, but for the sake of fairness I think that now the time has come for some justice when they punish Everton so hard. For Everton this can have existential consequences and the EPL authorities knew what they were doing when they issued this sanction. But now everyone is rightly asking how they will treat Manchester City when it turns out that they have violated those FFP rules.

Teams like Leverkusen and Liverpool are fighting for the Bundesliga and Premier League titles. And the main goal for these two teams is to win the Bundesliga and Premier League titles. They will try to do well in the Europa League, but only after maintaining consistency in the Bundesliga and Premier League. The main contenders for the Europa League title are teams like Roma and Sevilla. Who have no chance of winning their own league title. Last season we saw big teams like Barcelona do very poorly in the Europa League. Basically, the big teams have no interest in winning the Europa League title. And so we are not sure whether Leverkusen and Liverpool teams will win the Europa League title. But if they give their full effort in the Europa League, they have a chance to win the championship.

Those teams don't have any order for their competitions whatsoever. The fact that the Bundesliga and the Premier League is their main business is because it is their main business. But nobody from those clubs provides a ranking as to how much effort should be put into any of those competitions. Ask them whether they want to win the Europa League and the domestic league titles. They will answer that they want to win it all. You are suggesting that they play with less intensity in the games in the Europa League to play with more intensity in the domestic league. I guess that is what you really think, but it is gibberish.
448  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: November 22, 2023, 02:24:51 PM
There are still 27 games left which is a total of 81 points to be played for. The maximum I found that someone ended up in the relegation zone was 40 points. It usually is around 32-35 points and there are some years when it was much less than that. But let's assume 40 points would be the safe aim to go for here.

They would need 33 more points out of the last 27 games. That is like winning 9 games and 6 draws. This doesn't sound impossible to me and they also have a lot of home games to come as well. When you look at the table at a specific moment, it could apparently look worse than it is. Though it is bad of course, but when they adjust their goal to remaining in Ligue 1, which they have probably already done, then they know what to do and see that this can be done.
Lyon is gradually becoming a relegation team and I know for sure that they won't want that for themselves, their recent games have been so poor on their side and it seems like there's a huge work to be done, they have 27 games to go and they have to secure at least 40 points to be out of the relegation zone, and I believe their coach should've been using the break to figure out how to get the team moving upwards.

Hopefully, they'd be able to play well a bit, win some games and draw some and also avoid much losses too because every loss will affect their chance. Extra efforts and determination needs to be put to the team and they've got face the reality of the battle they've got at hand, no laziness or backwardness should be entertained too.

But I think nobody here talked to the team or how did you find out that they don't want to be in the relegation zone? Because you said that you know for sure.

40 points is an objective that would (almost) guarantee them to stay in the league as it is a threshold that I think has barely been reached in the history of the league by a team to inevitably stay in the league. But still they should better play it safe than be sorry later on.

Given that Lyon was one of the strongest French clubs in the past, their goal must be to get some restructuring going very soon. They have been more in the midfield of the table in the last few years and the last time they finished top three was in 2018/19.
449  Economy / Economics / Re: when the rich say 'ill give 95% of my billion away over my lifetime' explained on: November 21, 2023, 04:22:28 PM
when the rich say 'ill give 95% of my billion away over my lifetime' they do not mean if they have $1b today they will be at $50m at death. what they actually mean is:

they have $1b in a bank account at 6% interest
meaning it earns $60m a year.
they give just $50m yearly interest away for the next 19 years ... (totalling the $950m pledge)
yet keeping the $1b lump plus earning $10m of personal spending per year

also the % interest is usually more than 6% but they only give 5% to meet their humanitarian/altruistic hustle pledge

enjoy that thought next time the rich try to make it sound like they are going to give up their wealth for humanity.. because reality is they are not.

That's fine! What's the problem in that? At least they are giving out towards philanthropy. Definitely some people do it as a publicity stunt to increase their reputation and to make their brand more visible. But there are some billionaires who does all this philanthropic works without letting the media know.

It's impossible to find things which are straight as arrow. At the end of the day everything boils down to the business.

I think franky1 mentioned something that is important to note when making up our minds about someone claiming to be most philanthropic philanthrop in the world. When Bill Gates says that, everyone should know that he is building an entire corporate empire around agriculture, pharmaceutics, gene-editing businesses and many others.

Please note that this is no criticism Bill Gates is supporting these industries. It's great, someone should do it and someone has to do it for the sake of enabling people around the world to live a better and longer life.

But it is often portrayed as being an act of altruism and this is where franky1 now chimed in with some important info. There is nothing bad with bringing this up because I am sure that most people read headlines about billionaires giving away their fortune exactly as franky1 implied they would read it.

Sometimes we can see abrupt endings from any good team, but for different reasons. For instance, if Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen play against each other in the quarterfinals, I fear we have to accept that one of them has to go and it doesn't really have to do with their performance. Maybe that is the preliminary final game of the competition so to speak. And then one team will lose and nobody will remember the reason why. It was because the two best teams met each other in the quarters.

That's why I hope that they can avoid to be against each other for as long as possible. Hopefully not before the semifinals. But with some luck in the drawings, I agree that Bayer Leverkusen will be around in the Europa League for a few more rounds at least.

And it is not certain that Liverpool and Leverkusen will advance all the way to the quarter-finals. as you said, sometimes we can see the sudden end of any good team. like last season, for example, two teams from the Premier League were predicted to be strong candidates. However, along the way, these two teams were defeated by mediocre teams. Sevilla's condition is a mess, not much different from this season. Leverkusen is no less the same, they are just as slumped in the red zone in domestic competition. Suddenly, these two teams changed coaches and started their journey with victory after victory until finally Leverkusen entered the quarter-finals and Sevilla became champions. a surprising result, even though the previously favorite teams were Manchester United, Arsenal and even Juventus even though their performance was a mess.

Unique right? and this is football, we won't know until the match progresses step by step until the final round. So, it is possible that either Liverpool or Leverkusen will slip up in the future match. although for now, their chance of becoming group champions is already theirs. The time comes in round 16, then the real fight will begin. So, let's just wait and enjoy everything that happens.

These exceptions keep us thrilled until the end of those competitions as this is why we are watching the games even though there might be a big favorite and an underdog. The Leverkusen story doesn't need to be talked about again for last season Europa League as Roma was an undeserved finalist. But again this is the same, a team that is better is not necessarily making it to the next round and this is why you are right. There is no such thing as a guarantee that we will see Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen in the quarterfinals. The chance is quite high that they will be there, but it is just high, not 100%.
451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: November 21, 2023, 08:54:45 AM
Lyon was the team they were usually racing for the top place of the French League but unfortunately, the recently thin team didn't have a good situation, and and I think Lyon should be at the bottom side of the table to not get relegated at the end of this season because so far they didn't get good results.

Lyon still has a chance to out of the relegation zone or at least play in the relegation playoffs but they can only get that if they can turn around the current situation which is quite bad because their first win was only achieved in the 11th match and even that was helped because their opponents played with only 10 players since the 5th minute of the first half, and Lyon could only score 1 goal, so it could be said that if Rennes didn't play with 10 players then Lyon would likely get another bad result.
Fabio Grosso has not been able to bring good changes to Lyon since he was appointed as Lyon coach, and this week they will face Lillie and my prediction is that they will get bad results again.

There are still 27 games left which is a total of 81 points to be played for. The maximum I found that someone ended up in the relegation zone was 40 points. It usually is around 32-35 points and there are some years when it was much less than that. But let's assume 40 points would be the safe aim to go for here.

452  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: November 21, 2023, 08:21:36 AM

I guess everyone is the same and can't wait for all these international games to be over and we can finally go back to Premier League business. Since this game is waiting for us, it is even better to look forward to the first weekend after this break. It is Guardiola against Klopp and these two guys know each other for a very long time. I am pleased to see that Liverpool is not in weak form as they have been last year and this game will carry a lot more excitement than it did when Liverpool was so far behind Manchester City that it hardly made any difference whether they won or lost.

But for anyone who is interested  It is quite even. I knew they had great fights in the past but I thought that Manchester City was ahead in the last five years or so, but no it is quite even. The last Premier League match ended 4-1 in favor of Manchester City. I don't think it's going to end like this on the weekend.
Well I'm enjoying the international tournaments and it's lovely to see star players I like representing their countries and setting more  country side records for themselves, however it has a disadvantage which is causing injury to a lot of star players lately and it's too bad cause many of those star players might not return to help their club maintain consistency due to injury, we've seen several of them get injured this few days and a very big threat to clubs that's got 2-3 of their key players injured in the break.

Well I enjoy watching club side matches more cause I think it's more interesting watching great players from different countries male up a team, and after the break we're going to be entertained by a very interesting premiere league match (Liverpool vs Manchester City) it's going to be a very tough one, involving two great coaches battling each other, both clubs are in a good form currently however City would find it tough battling Liverpool at Anfield.

Ok sure these international games do have some special charm of course and when there is something at stake like in important qualification games or at the World Cup or other big tournaments, I think everyone likes to watch their home countries, but also the big nations like France to play. But what I don't like is when players are nominated that just returned from an injury and haven't even yet played a whole game for their club.

The most recent example now for an injury with long-term consequences is Gavi from Barcelona. I have no evidence for that, but sometimes it feels like these injuries happen more often in relative terms when they play for their national teams than when they play for their clubs. I know this is only subjective, but I guess it feels like that because the national teams play only sporadically whereas the players are gone then for 6 months and you read about it all the time because the club is missing the player.

But I saw that Haaland didn't play for Norway and I wonder who intervened there to give Haaland a break because Norway was qualified already. That's the difference. I am sure Haaland wanted to, but I assume that Guardiola reached out to the Norwegian coach and negotiated with him about giving Haaland a break.

You can't ever have an idea when you have great ideas to talk about anyone who knows how this one is feeling great and OI don't ever want to feel like this is wrong:!

Salah scoring 4 on international duty, Szoboszlai scored 2 as Hungary topped their group in Euro 24 qualifying. Luis Diaz scored 2 in a big win against Brazil, Darwin Nunez bagged against Argentina.

Liverpool players on fire during the international break. We take on Man City next weekend, huge game. Will be tough to get a positive result at The Etihad but we look in good shape.

Come on you Reds!

These players are truly extraordinary, especially for Darwin Nunez and Luis Diaz, they helped their national team beat top teams like Argentina and Brazil. Certainly Jurgen Kloop is happy with the performance of his players and hopes that everyone will return without anyone being injured. This week will be a hot match and against Manchester City it will not be an easy matter and the performance of the Liverpool players in this international break makes them even more confident in being able to break into Pep Guardiola's squad's goal. Since this is an away match for Liverpool, of course they will be a little patient and will wait for the right momentum to get ahead of Manchester City.
In the next match, we will see one of the most interesting matches in the English Premier League where Manchester City, which is number one in the points table, will fight against Liverpool, which is number two in the points table. This match against Liverpool will be held at Manchester City's home ground, so Manchester City can get some extra advantage in this match. Currently these two teams are the best performers in the Premier League and surely neither team will leave the other team out in the upcoming matches. If we consider the statistics of the last five matches we can see that out of the last five matches Liverpool won three matches and Manchester City won two matches. In other words, in the statistics of the last five matches, Liverpool is ahead of Manchester City by winning one more match. Now it is to be seen which team will win the next match Liverpool or Manchester City.

But for anyone who is interested here you can check out the head to head statistics. It is quite even. I knew they had great fights in the past but I thought that Manchester City was ahead in the last five years or so, but no it is quite even. The last Premier League match ended 4-1 in favor of Manchester City. I don't think it's going to end like this on the weekend.

You know what impressed me the most? It is not that one game that Copenhagen has played so well in the Champions League group. Every bad team could have a great and lucky day. What impressed me so much about Copenhagen is that they played four great games in the group, could have tied the game against Bayern Munich, could have won the game away from home against Galatasaray, won the game against Manchester United and lost the other game with only one goal in England. This is what made me think twice about this team and how I underestimated them. I thought that this is going to be an easy group for Manchester United and Bayern Munich, but seriously this was a tough group for them and Manchester United will probably fail to pass it.

The team is not tough for Bayern Munich because they’ve won all of the matches they’ve played in the group, only Manchester United will see the group very tough for them to pass through because of how many points they’ve earned, their position on the table and their chances of qualifying to the next round of the competition which is very much unlikely seeing how they are playing now even in their domestic league. Like I have said in the past, Manchester United underrated the other two teams; Galatasaray and Copenhagen which they needed not to and play with full force with them. They had their chances in the past already but were not able to convert it to their advantage. They have only earned 3 points with 4 matches already played. Their two remaining matches could in the best case be a draw and a draw which will not give them a qualification to the next round of the competition.

As I can't tell how interested you are in football and how much you follow the games, it's probably worthless to talk about those games when my assumption is that you don't watch them.

Without a doubt was that group quite hard for Bayern Munich and if you were to ask the players, I tell you that they will say that this was a whole lot of work they were going through and that some games were about to end in a draw or loss.

The game against Galatasaray was Galatasaray only. Bayern Munich didn't take place until the second half of the second half, yes, you read this correctly. I don't know exactly but it took Bayern Munich 65 - 70 minutes to get into the game. Before that Galatasaray could have long won it.

The game against Manchester United and Copenhagen were both close and Bayern was behind until late in the game against Copenhagen.

When a team won every game in a group, it doesn't mean that the group was easy.

I belive oin this guys who are the beste ever and when you talke aboute Galatasaray and how they are a team that can beat you, I don't really know how this is going to happen.

There are several interesting ways regarding Xabi Alonso's future career that I think could become reality next season. There are three options in my opinion.

The first option is that he stays at Bayer Leverkusen because he wants to enjoy what he has built himself and reap the rewards if he sees the potential to win (more) titles with Bayer Leverkusen.

The second option is that Real Madrid is already in talks with him behind the scenes and they let him know that they want him at all cost if he plays a successful season with Bayer Leverkusen.

The third option is somewhat unexpected for most here, but once I heard the Bayern Munich bosses talk about Xabi Alonso and they couldn't stop praising him, saying what a great guy and personality he is and that he would become an amazing coach one day. What will happen if Tuchel gets sacked towards the end of the season and Xabi Alonso is the one who beats Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga? Smiley Could it be possible that Bayern Munich will try to make Alonso take Tuchel's position?
Alonso's exploit for Bayern Leverkusen has placed him in potential spots as there'd ever be, teams like Real Madrid and Bayern Munich. No doubt for the current team, after them seeing his abilities and his skills in securing victories, him being the one that's literally brought out the exploits of Leverkusen, they'd definitely want to retain him as they see a very big possibility of more titles been won and they just want to secure more wins and team growth for themselves.

Thesame applies to Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, they've seen a whole lot abilities in Alonso and the possibility of it been maximized, however the possibility of him joining Realmadrid is higher than that of Bayern Munich cause Thomas Tuchel just recently joined the Bavarians and his chances of winning the title is high.

But only winning one title has never been enough at Bayern Munich to have a secure position as a coach. Bayern Munich pays a lot of attention to the interpersonal abilities of a coach and if they see that Tuchel keeps distancing himself from the club DNA, I wouldn't be surprised if they sack him at the end of the season unless he delivers some remarkable results and they have no choice but to allow him to continue.

From what I understand about the club Bayern Munich, I think they put a lot of emphasis on the interpersonal abilities of a coach and Xabi Alonso would be that kind of guy they are usually looking for.

I was thinking on Sunday how come it is possible for Chelsea to have won most or all duels in the midfield,I forgot about these two great players that made up a huge chunk of Manchester City success and I fully believe in that saying in football, your midfield either wins you games or lose you games, showing the importance of this department of the team, for me being the most important in the team, just look at all the glorious teams through the years not only here in Premier League but also other leagues and you will see super performing teams had always the best midfield.

I get what you mean when you say that the midfield is the most important part. I think it depends on the team's style. But the saying, if I recall that correctly, usually goes like this:

Quote
“Attack wins you games, defence wins you titles.”
and I believe it is from Alex Ferguson. I think that statement makes a lot of sense. There are some clubs that have been extremely successful because they had the strongest defense in the league. Atletico Madrid, Juventus Turin for some years and others as well.

But the midfield is the most important part for Manchester City because Guardiola trains his players so they can fill several positions at once and be more flexible than any other team. He likes to have have defensive midfielders, central midfielders and offensive midfielders and he likes defenders with midfielding qualities. Smiley This means for Guardiola the midfield is definitely the most important part of his team. I think that is also why they are having some difficulties recently.

Kylian Mbappe's hat trick in the match against Gibraltar confirmed his record of 300 career goals and this is a big achievement for a young player for the French national team. He is not only productive for the club but also for his country and of course PSG is happy that this player can continue to score goals in any competition. It seems that everything went well during the international break without any injuries and as an important player at PSG, Kylian Mbappe must be back in fit condition ahead of the crucial matches in the Ligue 1 or Champions League competitions later. Keeping Kylian Mbappe for longer is PSG's obligation and I think they will try to do that even though there are many rumors that their mainstay player will leave after his contract ends.

I read on a website that he is the first at such a young age (24 years old) who scored 300 goals in his professional career before reaching the age of 25. This is a huge achievement and if he stands at the top of that list, it also has some individual reward character. He is still running after the other, official trophies, but I think if he leaves PSG and goes to a club with higher prestige and more chances to win the Champions League, he will also be awarded with best player of the year titles.

But this also means something for PSG as a club. Having Mbappe under contract is not just having a good striker under contract. Mbappe means a lot to PSG and the recognition value of the club. I think the transfer saga Mbappe - PSG is not yet over! Cheesy By the time when January, February is over I will get my popcorn out again!

But Leverkusen is really making some unexpected and impressive progress as a team. They finished the last season on rank 6 with no single win in the last 5 games. I think nobody would see this coming. If they can surprise the Bundesliga, it is not absurd to think they can do the same in the Europa League.
Leverkusen is most definitely going to finish big in the Europa, my sentiment based on their most recent performance in the Europa where they are yet to loss any game so far, they have won all four games played so far and have successfully top their group with twelve points already .

But then their ability will be further tested when they get pass group stage and other teams who will be disqualified from the champions league comes to join them in the Europa, then they will have tougher teams to contend and the league will become more competitive than it is, they will have more pressure because they will have to try to keep up with their records in the bundesliga aswell, so if they successful make it pass all these pressure, then it's possible they turn out the champions by the end of the season.

Anyone who watched the second leg game between Copenhagen and Manchester United last week will definitely not want to underestimate the strength of the Copenhagen team. The resilience spirit of the is like that of team who's desperately trying to make it out of the group and knowing fully well that a win against Galatasaray in their next game can be enough to see them make it to the knockout stages of the competition, I think they'll even show more strength in that very game. In the first game they played against Galatasaray this season at the home of the Turkish champions, Copenhagen got a 2:2 draw and with the support of their home fans, they can take all three points in the game against Galatasaray.

Man United position in the Champion League is quite pressed, like it or not, Copenhagen and Galatasaray have shown how their enthusiasm can change the mentality of their players on the field. Man United potential to qualify is very thin, even if it has to fall once it deserves to be obtained as a form of lesson where mental readiness, stable players and most importantly qualified coaches will be complementary. Galatasaray and Copenhagen may not have top players like Man United but when on the field teamwork, getting rid of each other's egos creates a more manageable match path.

The teamwork on the field is remarkable and the emotions that the coaches bring into the mix are also indispensable for their success. The Copenhagen coach looks like he would suffer from several heart attacks over 90 minutes and this is what electrifies the players as well.

But it is quite simple for Manchester United to be put into realistic terms; if they don't win the next game, it is over for them in the Champions League. Of course a draw would still keep them alive, but they would need a win in the game against Bayern Munich and a draw in the last game between Copenhagen and Galatasaray. That's not going to happen and I don't believe that Manchester United has a 30% chance to win the game against Galatasaray. I think it will end in a draw in a best case scenario for Manchester United.
