441  Economy / Economics / Re: Mastercard Bitcoin Global Adoption? on: February 13, 2021, 09:00:24 AM
Country like India where mastercard and Visa are leading payment processors so it would be unimaginable change the way RBI perceive crypto currency’s.

It’s fine if they regulate it, they will have partial control over transaction since as long as you don’t purchase anything with such a card you won’t reveal your identity.
With rumors spreading about complete ban in India it is the right moment to hear these positive news, first Tesla investing $1.5 billion in bitcoin and Tesla is launching their business in India as well this year and now Mastercard adopting bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies will force any government to think twice before making any blunders.

I assume KYC would be mandatory in that case but that’s fine since we get to enjoy bitcoin payments to Fiat instantly.
It is already mandatory to fill in your KYC if you are holding a bank account.
442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB reached $100 on: February 12, 2021, 02:49:56 PM
Binance coin has a lot of potential and it can go around 250$ around march I have read some speculations.

The reason is that Ethereum Network charges so much fee that people are now changing trend and getting themselves into Binance to get rid of higher and higher fees, I joined many projects which later on shifted to Binance and less fee (people can do things easily without paying that much fee as compared to Eth) is bringing the demand and now people are investing in Binance.
I was wondering why the price of BNB started to rally to crazy heights but your reasoning seems to reasonable. The transaction charges for ETH and all its tokens are crazy high and i tried to send some coins but the charges were high and i thought it is better to keep that in my wallet rather than sending around. Is there a chance that some of the tokens using the ETH network migrate to BNB, if that happens then it makes sense.
443  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 11, 2021, 02:46:47 PM
Seeing Australia's performance against India, I don't think Australia will be able to win a series if a series will be held between Australia and New Zealand. The New Zealand team is stable enough now. They are playing very well. So I think both teams will have equal chances to win the series. Players make a lot of mistakes on the ground. The players of the team who make fewer mistakes, they will win. Because both teams have enough talented players.
You cannot conclude like that, India beat Australia in their last tour as well and everyone thought New Zealand would do the same but the result were entirely different as Australia dominated New Zealand in the three Test matches and you cannot compare how a team could perform because they saw the last series.

Look at the way India was over shadowed completely by England in the first Test match and no one thought consider how India played in Australia with a depleted team.
444  Economy / Economics / Re: Im big fan of stable coins and this is what I think on: February 11, 2021, 01:15:17 PM
It doesn't make sense because the government already have a plan to release their own CBDC, why would they put CBDC aside and allow USDT? I only use USDT to store some dollars that's the only use i have for the project, if you invest on USDT you aren't getting anything back, a stable coin is a stable coin
The OP always has insane theories as i have seen some of the threads he created  Cheesy. Might be he is confused with all these private stable coins and why would a government mint them when they can come up with their stable coin. Everyone use these stable coins just to hold our profit and i do not even trust to hold USDT for a much longer period because i do not trust them to hold my valuation for the long haul.
445  Economy / Economics / Re: JP Morgan says large firms will not follow Tesla's bitcoin move on: February 11, 2021, 07:20:59 AM
I would be interested to know why JP Morgan says history would not repeat itself here.
These are nothing but their opinions, in 2017 they were calling bitcoin a fraud investment and a bubble and on the back side they started investing in it. The opinions and claims they make has nothing to do with the truth and hence they should be ignore as well.

JP Morgan cannot even say the truth about their investment and how can they predict what other companies will be investing in the future.
446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The surprise of Dogecoin on: February 10, 2021, 11:09:41 PM
The worst part is that Elon Musk did it for a joke. Many people made a lot of money on it, but when the DOGE bubble bursts, many people will also lose (hopefully only money). I think what Musk did was very irresponsible.
If people looses money once the bubble burst then you should look in the mirror and ask yourself whether you are stupid enough to loose money even if the market rallies 100% in some coins and you cannot blame someone else for your actions. Musk never asked anyone to invest in anything and if you were stupid enough to invest during the pump then you are to be blamed.
447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: February 10, 2021, 09:27:12 PM
Even in India, there were proposals to develop the existing cricket stadiums in tourist destinations such as Shillong, Chail, Darjeeling, Imphal, Port Blair.etc. But due to one reason or other, none of the proposals made much movement (perhaps with the exception of Dharamshala in HP and Krishnagiri in Wynad). In particular I would like to see a few IPL matches staged in Shillong, because it is such a beautiful city.
Why destroy the beauty and built these stadiums where the international matches will not take place because of the lack of an airport near by and the amount of hours they need to travel by road and with the heavy schedule these players have it is impossible to have matches in Dharamshala. These places are echo friendly cites and it is difficult to get permission to create these structures.
448  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 10, 2021, 06:52:51 AM
After a high from the Australian series we saw another disaster in the first match against England and Kolhi and the team management will be under pressure, they need to pick the best team according to the playing conditions, Rohit Sharma is not performing well and Kuldeep Yadav could have performed better as he is a wrist spinner.
449  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Man arrested in Germany keeps $60 Million dollars in Bitcoin from the police on: February 08, 2021, 07:48:23 PM
2 years for stealing millions? I'd also keep my mouth shut and count days until release.
He didn’t actually steal that Bitcoin, he just installed some software that mined some coin/s on an unspecified number of computers - and that’s clearly not considered literal theft.
So you are claiming that someone stealing your resources to mine bitcoin using your electricity thereby reducing the life of your electronic equipment cannot be considered as stealing because he did not steal bitcoins from you directly Roll Eyes. I consider stealing when someone uses my resources without my permission physically or virtually.

The rules for fraud should be strict, if he ever moves the coin he should be arrested for gaming the system.
450  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: February 08, 2021, 04:10:12 PM
And Another thing Alexander Volkov did a great job with Overeem, He surely destroyed Overeem in round 2, Although I really like Alistair Overeem back then right now I think that he seems slower than before, and I don't know about everybody here Alistair Overeem seems to develop belly plop Grin
Alistair Overeem looked scary before USADA started testing the fighters and once they started testing everyone for performance enhancing drugs many fighters looked completely deflated and Overeem in one such fighter and with COVID protocol when most of the gyms were closed for months you should expect some belly for some of the fighters Cheesy. It is time he retires from UFC and if he really wants to compete he can perform in other organisation where the competition is not that high.
451  Economy / Economics / Re: Global Wealth Disparity is going to cause a lot of issues soon on: February 08, 2021, 12:28:45 PM
Why is every currency so centralized? By doing this, none of them can become global currencies.

USD- Chinese will never accept it since it is printed indefinitely by USA
Looks like you have no idea what you are talking about, China has the largest reserves of foreign funds and they have around $3.4 trillion as per the data published last year and you are claiming that they will never accept the dollar  Roll Eyes. Currency throughout history was centralized, a government or a king creates the currency to conduct trade and this is nothing new and USD is the global currency used in trade by majority of the country.
452  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 08, 2021, 09:26:23 AM
England is leading with 376 runs and they are not planning to declare the innings, Jos Buttler is in the crease and he might look to increase the run rate and they might try to add 50 odd runs and reach a safe position and they need more time to put pressure back on the Indian players, the pitch is not looking good as there is uneven bounce and the fast bowlers are getting reverse swing, it will be a real test for Indian batsman if they want to save this match.
453  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading bot vs. you -> who's better? on: February 07, 2021, 11:16:50 PM
The answer is very easy, who created trading bot? human, therefore I would say that I'm better than the trading bot.
You might be better than a trading bot but you cannot monitor the market trend all the time but a bot is created to analyze the trend round the clock and the combination of your input skills make you a successful trader.

It's just a system use for to ease the job in trading but it also requires some monitoring as we are talking of money here, no system are perfect. Also, if you want to learn, better start trading by yourself first then try using bot in the long run, at least you have to build your skills and knowledge first, that's a must.
A system cannot be perfect if you have no idea what you are doing with it. Your input and method along with a bot could reap you benefit and bitcoin being a volatile market you can reap a huge profit if you understand the basic.
454  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 07, 2021, 04:32:23 PM
Previously he had handled that role and during this period Bangladesh had the most memorable victories. Now he is back from his politically motivated ban, and he deserves a better rank within the team. The Bangladesh Cricket Board should make up the differences, and reconcile. The current captain is a disaster (Mominul Haque), and they need to take action before it is too late. This was a match which everyone expected Bangladesh to win.
May be the situation came to light because of political reasons but the fact is Shakib Al Hasan was approached by a bookie and he did not inform the authorities as per the rules and so is the reason he was banned and they reduced his punishment if i remember correctly. The reason for the loss is because of their out fielding as they missed multiple catches and Mayers took that opportunity and the bowlers were bowling short and full volley and  Shakib Al Hasan did not bat nor bowl as he was injured.
455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH made me very Angry today on: February 07, 2021, 04:14:02 PM
i lost $150 usd just like that, that was all i had left in my local bank account, and now its gone all because of Ethereum high fees.
It is a sad story and the market has turned out to be helping out the rich and not the small time investors. I am staying away from the entire token market and the DeFi hype because i am not able to make any substantial profit with all these high transaction fees and you cannot take advantage even if there is a price disparity. The only solution is to keep the coins ready when you see any new token that could potentially make you a profit rather than scrambling at the last moment.
456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 07, 2021, 11:55:14 AM
Windies won!!!!

Pakistan vs South Africa match is also going to 5th day chase.. incredible for test cricket.
I did not see that coming, West Indies pulling off an unexpected upset chasing a huge total in the 4th innings, two unknown players taking the West Indies home in difficult situation and Kyle Mayers was making his debut and went on to score a double century and that too in crucial situation, Bangladesh players also did not expect this coming and hence they declared the second innings.

Will be see another upset by South Africa as well. England also can win the match as they are in a really strong position. This will be the week of upsets  Cheesy.
457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which 'cryptos' do you suggest I should invest in for a duration of 3 to 5 month on: February 07, 2021, 10:48:01 AM
Seeing how cryptocurrencies have been soaring, I have decided to make a bold move and invest a quarter of my total capital in cryptos. I am looking forward to invest for the duration of 3 months (maximum for 5 months).

Looking at past performances of various cryptos, I have decided to invest in 1inch, Bat, Atom, Sushi, ADA, wave and some in Bitcoin.
What is the budget and how much you are planning to invest in the market, bitcoin is the coin that will give you the profit when you are able to invest at the right moment but i will not advice to invest when the market is rallying and BAT is a good alternative as well but not sure about Sushi as it is DeFi and it is a different market altogether and you need to understand the risk.
458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Elon Musk's Tweets... on: February 06, 2021, 07:20:22 PM
I also see him (Elon Musk) as a descendant of John McAfee due to his hype tweet but they are not the same because McAfee offer hype promotions for new and old projects while Elon only offer his own service for Dogecoin which he claimed to be the new CEO long. I don't think he can loose his credibility since crypto is a speculate market and he never provide any analysis or claim what he said was investment advice though he may someone loose his credibility in terms of crypto.
You cannot compare Elon Musk to the scammer John McAffee, McAffee was promoting scam projects and he would promote anything if you are willing to pay him and that cannot be said about Elon Musk as he is trolling the entire market and if we are not able to understand what he is trying to prove you cannot blame him for the influence he has on the market. Most of the investors in the market knows Elon Musk but majority consider it as a trigger point to pump the coin.
459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 600,000 DOGE Stolen - Please Help on: February 06, 2021, 05:38:31 PM
There is nothing you can do but feel sorry for yourself. No one can help you. However hackers have moved your assets to a new address, you will no longer be able to find it. But be careful for the future, so that hackers do not get access to your PC. My wallet was also hacked in 2018, I suffered a lot; From then on I used my wallet very carefully.
Have you identified how your wallet got hacked and what are the steps you took to avoid these. The only option for anyone to hack your computer is when you are not taking your security or privacy seriously. If you have the basic understanding about how to secure your computer you wont be loosing your coins, before investing make sure you are secured enough to hold the money, if not do not spare your time in investing.
460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 06, 2021, 11:11:32 AM
Right now his figures stand at 39-151-2. India went to the match with three off-spinners (two right-armers and one left-armer). Kuldeep with his wrist spin could have added more variety to the attack.
We can speculate that Kuldeep Yadav could have made a difference, i was not expecting Shahbaz Nadeem in the team but the pitch was not helping the spinners either, if India would have batted first i do think that they could have batted like this and once the pitch starts to wear and tear it will start helping the spinners. Ishant Sharma bowled well even though he did not pick much wickets his line and length were outstanding and did not give away runs .
