Zcoin is a asic-resistant GPU mineable cryptocurrency thanks to Merkle Tree Proofs MTP mining algorithm, lets review Zcoin XZC! Zcoin is not Zcash OR a fork of Zcash, Zcoin is based off of Zerocoin whereas Zcash is based off of Zerocash. Zcoin has taken an asic-resistant thanks w/ their MTP mining algorithm, they are also an excellent option for cryptocurrency passive income through the use of their masternode system dubbed Znodes. Unfortunately, Zcoin recently experienced an attack/hack through a flaw in the Zerocoin privacy protocol, they have fixed the issue with a soft fork but being an immutable blockchain there was some damage done. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g4gJjV_WSk0all relevant links and timestamps are in the video description on YouTube

I don't think the return on investment on the Z / Z9 Mini are worth the buy. Maybe someone who is using it can confirm it.
it'll all vary on what you pay for one, what your electric cost is, for those w/ dirt cheap power mining is almost always a lucrative play

Lets review the most powerful equihash ASIC miner that is not a (total) scam! The Bitmain Antminer Z11 is the best miner for Zcash, Komodo, Piratechain and more! Whether you love or hate equihash based cryptocurrencies due to the way many of them abandoned GPU miners in 2018, there is a lot of marketcap to be tapped into, so there will continue to be ASIC miners made for Zcash, Horizen, Zclassic, Komodo, Piratechain, and others. I've got two rigs of 570's that I have basically dismantled. Whilst I could run them for the sake of it, at 16ct/kwh it's a zero-sum game. If someone rocked up giving me £50 for each 570 I'd give them the whole batch (14 of'em).
you could probably get close to that on ebay, I sold an old rx470 over the last month for ~$70 usd no box or anything

That should sell instantly, have you considered listing locally? Recently I've also let go of some 1060s for 140 USD and a 1080ti for 490 USD, they were brand new rma replacements. 1080tis ended up being the best bang for buck after counting for depreciation. Ugh I've got like 8 Vega 56's that need RMA'ing but I'm to fucking lazy to bother with it.. EDIT: OHMYGOD what does it take to hit legendary?! that's a lot .. how many do you / did you have total?

And haven't heard anyting since then. They really take their time when it comes to these things. Been this way since 2016 pretty much. You guys might not remember but POS was suppose to be live on ETH in Summer of 2016.
All I ever heard.. "don't buy any more hardware, ETH is going PoS soon!" Soo glad I ignored them. haha x100 to this, for the last couple years it has been "too late" and eth going POS SOON! Yet .. here we are a whole gold rush came and went, now just wondering if there will be another especially before "eth goes PoS" its already almost halfway through 2019

Nice to have a recent guide. There a lot of misinformation on Zcoin mostly from it's MTP change in Dec of last year. Hashrates have certainly improved with Nvidia and amd since then! I found TT-miner to be the best.
yeah its been a lot to sift through and test! Even though its not ideal or recommended I got some 4gb cards going on it even though they apparently don't work? What hashrate you getting w/ TT on what cards? thanks for sharing

I was about to say. TT-miner is not only faster but the dev is also a lot more active in these forums and addresses every issue the community is raising. He's actively developing and is ahead of CryptoDredge by a good margin by now. shit here I am, out of date and straight to DVD! what hashrate difference are you getting w/ dredge vs TT?

Nice little news update. Keep up the good work. NY simply has no love for crypto do they.
Indeed, they don't have or we can assume they're up to something. Who knows Delisting BSV is big slap to Craig's face and we can anticipate the price will dump and will be a shit < though it's already a shit >. Probably, BSV holders are getting their shit as early as they could. Speaking of Craig he was apparently one of the main clients for this farm that is nearly belly-up.

A nice professionally made summary of the news. This mining farm than went down reminds me of the stories of miners filing for bankruptcy in 2015 or running away and leaving their bills behind. The money is probably unretrievable they will never make this much back to pay their contractors. You got one happy dog there haha Tails is the best Thank you, I actually found out after this video that this farms main clients were or are? Roger Ver and Craight Wright -- go figure? (apparently)

I am mining Zcoin XZC and today I am going to show YOU how to GPU mine Zcoin with Nvidia & AMD GPUs on Windows & smOS! This is the ultimate guide to mining Zcoin XZC which is a GPU mineable cryptocurrency thanks to the Merkle Tree Proofs MTP algorithm. MTP is an Nvidia GPU dominated algorithm, however in this video I will also show you how to mine Zcoin with AMD GPUs like the RX 570s as well as the Radeon VII. By changing the work size from 64 to 32 Vega 56 and 64 can mine Zcoin but this is not shown in the video! The gist is this video will show you how to mine Zcoin with every common GPU as well as touch on useful tools like the Zcoin wallet, light ZelCore wallet, and overclockers such as MSI afterburner useful for getting the best hashrate out of your mining rig! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uZlKycuZcy0All relevant links and timestamps are in the video description on YouTube.

In today's crypto news round-up we will be looking over a $65 million dollar mining farm based out of Virginia Beach, Va, USA that within ~1 year of operation has filed for bankruptcy as they are MILLIONS of dollars in debt. Simple Miner smOS has also added VEGA VII support. Bittrex banned from exchanging cryptocurrency in NY, USA. Binance and Kraken delist Bitcoin SV, oh and speaking of Bitcoin SV Craig Wright is suing a podcaster for calling him a fraud. We review Coinbase revenue in 2017, 2018, and speculative 2019. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6byo3GHbOSULinks and timestamps are in the video description.

Im getting 540khs/card - what about your results and setting?
what oc and watt draw? I'll add to OP

Unsure why I didn't think of this earlier but going to separate the fpga and cpu miner on pool w/ a diff associated address xD
|
|
|
This screenshot has fpga mining earnings mixed in but one could take the percentage, I should just put these on separate addresses to make monitoring easy .. thats an idea lol

Put together a little video review showing some 2019 cpu mining profitability numbers and exploring common options ex XMR and less common like VRSC https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j9hvDSMBz7sFull timestamps and links in video description on YouTube. If you're looking for hashrate & profitability charts, please reference this for AMD Ryzen 1700 on most mining algorithms - http://voskco.in/1700calcIf you're looking for extensive Verus (veruscoin / VRSC) hashrates on CPU and GPU please look here - http://voskco.in/VerusHIf you have CPU mining information/links/hashrates you'd like added to OP please post away and I will update this with more information.
Here's a snapshot of some of the referenced information above Anyone interested in helping to compile some numbers for other coins they recommend CPU mining?

Using your numbers with whattomine I get the following: 1x rx580 8gb daily return mining Ethash @ 130 watts: $0.46 revenue $0.14 profit 1x 1660 or 1660ti or 1070 or P106-100 daily return mining RVN @ 106 watts: $0.64 revenue $0.38 profit Used P106-100 are the same price as used Rx580 8gb; its a no brainer: over 2x profit and way more mineable algos. New rx580 8gb are $180 lowest I can find. The second you buy this, its resale value is $100.
New 1660s are $220 and its resale value is $200 at worst; its a no brainer. That's the big issue (bolded), rx cards are so flooded on the second hand market, I could hardly even sell a like new rx470, they're not even worth $100 these days lol -- and this point is profits aside

Sing it with me, Money, money, money, moonneeyy... Mining is still going strong. Last month all I heard was mining is for losers... Well I was raking in the RVN at those low diff rates, thousands of RVN a day. And then the price tripled - now I'm crying all the way to the bank... So what happens when BTC hits new highs? You'll wish you were mining today. Get out there and buy a couple of 1660TIs. I just took some profits and bought two EVGA 2060 B stock. Great deal at $300. what oc setting are you using?
