I wonder what it will take to get us above the 90s range and into the 80s range. New exchanges would definitely give us a boost. This would be a great time to circle back to Poloniex, Bittrex, Kucoin, Binance...now that we are top 100 coin. Getting listed on Binance would probably push us into top 50 literally overnight. We need more exchanges, so let's make it happen.

Airdrops dry up, when you have 5%-8% weekly inflation it knocks the price down. More exchanges would be nice. Honestly just Bittrex would be nice. Also we need more pairing with ETH, LTC, and BCH.

Honestly doesn't even need to be a top 10 exchange like Bittrex, Binance, Poloniex, or Bitfinex (those would be nice). You could add a nice little exchange like Kucoin or another with similar size!
Any exchange in the top 10 for us is still closed. Developers know this and do not even go there yet. As soon as the distribution of coins is completed by air, only then one can think of a great exchange. But at this rate the airdrop will end in a couple of months. I'm really looking forward to the end of the airdrop.

I have never heard of such rules. Some ico's are on big exchanges while devs still need to distribute many coins (which takes months in some cases).

464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is it sustainable? on: January 20, 2018, 03:52:18 AM
GTFO mate, everybody knows the answer in here, how many times are people's going to ask if bitcoin is a bubble or not? Came on, if you do not trust on it, JUST DO NOT INVEST.

It is simple as that, if you do not believe -> leave this forum.

On the sustainability question, bitcoin is a pure bubble, an asset without intrinsic value — its price will fall to zero if trust vanishes.

I don't think this is the right attitude to have. You shouldn't dismiss every person who doubts by pushing them out. You should try having a civil discussion instead and maybe help someone change their mind. Not to mention, it doesn't help the market if everyone blindly believes they aren't in a bubble. Challenging these opinions with facts is the only way out. If there are no facts, then maybe you should start believing we are in a bubble.

It's not really up to people here to try and convince others, if they don't see the technology they don't see it. They are mostly just looking for ways to make money.
465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you buying altcoins on: January 20, 2018, 03:36:04 AM
in my opinion, this is the right time to buy bitcoin and altcoin because we know why bitcoin and altcoin has recently dropped, that's because it is almost similar to what happened in the year 2015, which is about the news of some countries to block access or transactions with bitcoin / cryptocurency. Grin

It seems to be very similar to every Januari the past years, it's getting too easy now  Grin
466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Doge - Hold or dump ? on: January 20, 2018, 03:34:27 AM
If you're too deep in the red already, hold and wait for the next pump. I'd invest in a more serious project next time.
467  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin important on: January 20, 2018, 03:19:41 AM
In my opinion it's important because it allows money to become like air or the Ocean. Something that just naturally exists in our lives (without being owned by anyone) and allows us to value things in our world and store wealth.

I think in the future the value will not be determined by any government but by the world economy as a whole.

The great thing about bitcoin is that it is decentralized, and it's important to be able to freely make a trustless transaction.

I think we could start thinking about closing new registrations for the airdrops at the end of January. There has been enough time, and whoever comes in after that, will be those wanting easy profit with our dear coin.
We have to recognize those who supported the currency from the beginning.
Does anyone agree or think this would be bad?

Not going to happen mate.

471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN NEW COIN] BITCOIN ZERO - EVENT DRIVEN SUPPLY BURN COIN on: January 16, 2018, 02:30:47 PM
BCZ's unique selling point is its Bonfire Events which burns an announced number of coins at a certain date, to trigger the price growth created by the shortage of coin supply.

Burning coins has been happening for years, we have had projects that specifically burn coins every week/month to try and create a game out of it.
It's definitely not something unique.

And why are you using the name bitcoin? To me it looks like this coin has nothing to do with bitcoin? Why copy another coin's name?

is it safe to use the private key and wallet.dat for claiming?

Claiming your bitcore is safe. You can send your bitcoin to another address before you claim as an extra security measure.

476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Worried about btc future on: January 14, 2018, 03:28:03 PM
If you're worried to the point where it affects your health, it means you're in to heavy.   If it's just concern, well, that's completely normal with any kind of investment.

That is the disadvantage of newbie style investing. If you are worrying to much, just sell it because too much worrying and stress will effect your health and you may need to be healthy first before making money.

That's the exact reason newbie investors should start out with small amounts to get used to the patterns and swings.
477  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Indonesia bans Bitcoin on: January 14, 2018, 03:17:52 PM
It is to sad that so many countries prohibit bitcoin. They are losing a lot of good people, who will leave the county

Those countries will lose out themselves as they are staying away from crypto.
Until they see a ban is useless, and they will join the party late, but they will only have themselves to blame.

Need help Please...
For Signatures - Sign/Verify a Message
I enter my paper wallet address and type AIRDROP
click on Sign Message...I get this message:
Private key for the entered address is not available
What is wrong and how to resolve problem?
I am mining to that address but have been unable to sign for airdrops.

As the message says, you don't have the private key to that address in that wallet. Hopefully you have it somewhere, otherwise your mining profits are lost, too.
I have private key on paper.
What do I need to do?

Hey, I'm interested in that too. For example, I want to move my keys from one wallet on one computer to another on another one. It seems that I can back up my wallet in its entirety and then restore it elsewhere, but I'm more interested in doing that in an "old-fashioned" way, so to speak, that is by importing my private/public key pair manually.

How can we do that really?

You generate a new wallet, go to console and type "importprivkey insertyourlongprivatekeyhere"

Interested in seeing observations from others. If true, a very lucrative business for kucoin, certainly nice pocketmoney.
