461  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Kickstart January in style on: January 04, 2024, 02:01:54 PM
In the last quarter of 2023, BTC enjoyed significant gains and analysts projected 2024 as another bull year due to ranging factors of which Bitcoin halving and approval of the Bitcoin spot ETF are most significant.

Blackrock announcement about the approval of the spot ETF over the weekend could be the catalyst that have triggered the market in the first day of year 2024 with BTC and global marketcap up by 6% respectively and currently trading above the $45k mark.

People have been saying various things concerning the BlackRock ETF approval and are waiting to see where this will actually get to, but we must be never forget that this is not the major reason for the expected bullrun, it can only rise the market on a shirt time influence while the halving is what we await to see come through as a major push to a new all time high for Bitcoin market price.

While many are anticipating bullrun to kickstart after the Bitcoin halving, I have a feeling there could be a twist to this year's bullrun as it may not completely depend on the factors listed above. It's also important to note that the US interest rate is on a decline which is a good thing that could drive investors to opt for crypto. What do you think, let's discuss.

There's this notion that it will definitely happen this way that when bullrun occurs, it will facilitate many Bitcoin investors to come onboard and invest in it, they would have seen the very reason they would have waited on to see come to pass to clear their doubt about Bitcoin performance after halving and bullrun.
462  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Is English language really necessary in our local board? on: January 04, 2024, 12:21:18 PM
Feel free to use Pidgin English as people like me use English. Do you know that we have local board rules?

1. Only Naija Pidgin and English is allowed

Did you know that few topics in English posted on English board are moved to local board if it is strictly pertaining to Nigeria?

Sure legendary if a topic is focused more on a particular country in the general discussion board, it can be moved to that particular local board and I also want to suggest that since we have rules guiding our local board, the OP that created the thread of the rules and regulations guiding our local board should pin the thread so that whom so ever that is new to the local board can navigate through the rules and regulations and it can also be visible to all the local board members, so I therefore move a motion for the thread to be pinned by the OP in our local board.

Why is it that people like you will always raise a dead issue to make things get complicated even when it seems they are being settled, what is it that you wanted to gain from this when there are more important things you could engage conversation on than waking a dead dog of no benefit, why is it so difficult that you could only understand what had been said on this issue countless times that it's either you speak the normal English or the naija pidgin as you may want it, abi wahala no dey reach una? Na by force make person yarn oyinbo or pidgin? Live no too dey difficult as una dey take am o

You can call it dead matter or whatever you like but what matters most is that since you're aware that this issue has been raised and sorted out is it every one that is aware of it? So if one brings an issue or a suggestion that has been raised and deliberated before the only thing you need do is to give the person reference of where the issue has been ironed just as legendary Charles-tim did.

Just keep deceiving yourself, as if we all don't know that this had been discussed several times, when you're aware of that, then why bringing it up again, no newbie will be that interested in making discussion on this aspect when they have enough time to invest on quality contributions to the forum than talking about what can only leads to quarrell which doesn't even matter to us here, I think now that you already know about this being discussed already countless times, you may lock the thread at your will to avoid spamming it since no one is interested in this anymore.
463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The madness of gambling addicts. on: January 03, 2024, 07:05:34 PM

This can happen to people who are not satisfied with what they have got, because those who are not satisfied with the winnings they have won will deposit money again and perhaps with a larger amount because they feel it will be easy to get the winnings again. so they bet again with a large amount. and if they can't control themselves, maybe they will do this continuously without realizing the risk of losing a large amount of their money.
and the wins they get make them believe they can win again if they gamble again, but what they should realize is that the wins they get are based on luck, and luck certainly won't last long with us, that's what we have to pay attention to. that's clear, especially when they get a win they can think it's a chance they can get a bigger win by exceeding the win they've already got, of course to get a bigger win they will increase the amount of their bet to get a win, and the possibility is in the next round they will only experience defeat which will make them lose self-control and make everything chaotic.

Your opinion is absolutely correct, that someone who is not satisfied with what he has obtained will try to pursue it again until his desires are truly achieved and in accordance with his expectations. It's like in gambling, if someone has won, he will not necessarily be satisfied with just one or two wins, maybe he will chase it until he is tired and feels satisfied. Then slowly he will experience defeat and that is the result if he is greedy in gambling. Instead of making a profit, he will experience a lot of losses there and that's what actually happens in gambling, it's just luck for the person who gets it.
That's common gambling failure, people that tend to follow up with gambling on the scale or account of winning money will always face this, because as humans we are constantly not satisfied with what we do especially when it comes to the habit of gambling, I have seen a gambler go in with an expected target he wants to win but the moment the winning starts kicking in, the expected target changes and before you know the person has set his goals to a bigger value and that's where the problem always kicks in.

It's truly a little way of display of madness in gambling when a gambler is becoming addicted to gambling and couldn't help to control himself than the way he has been tso used to gambling over time having nothing to show for it, all these started the moment the gamblers are unable to control how they gamble and balance their lifestyle with that of gambling altogether, we cannot be gambling and not maintain a protocols that curbs of from doing something's and not doing some, being satisfied is not only by winning alone, there's more to fun.

Scam is real and we should always take care of what we do in other not to be affected by them, scam is real and we can be affected if we are not aware of what is happening and the way the operate in using different techniques to steal from people's funds, you can imagine the number of affected victims, also consider the rate of asset losses due to various occasions of scam related activities that had happened althrough the year.
465  Economy / Reputation / Re: What is the Different Between 1XBet and 1XBit? on: January 03, 2024, 02:20:00 PM
Since the two names were found to link up to being under the same source, it is very helpful that we take note of them both and try as much as possible to ensure that we avoid them or recommending them for anyone, one of the greatest regret to do to oneself is to make fool of himself and yet never mind about every consequences of the actions that may come through such, for the fact that they have a bad reputation here makes it unsafe for anyone to use them since they cannot be trusted.
466  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Their is nothing too special about the future, INVEST NOW. on: January 03, 2024, 01:48:10 PM
I'm writing this to those people that are very good at saying "i will buy bitcoin next year, i will be more active in the forum from next year, i will do this and I will do that.

Some thing about people which is bad is the spirit of procrastination, this can never allow them to achieve anything, rather they will only be saying things by mouth without making a move to act on all that had been said, why do we decided to choose on making void speeches without making decisions on acting on them, some things were easier said than done, you don't have to be rich before preparing the ground for richness to come in, we have to plan and work on what we plan, now we are yet to experience the halving and bullrun, one can still invest because the market will be more favourable than ever when the time comes, it's a new year and we shouldn't miss the opportunity to start something new and different this year by investing in Bitcoin.

Honestly I see this as unnecessary to me, will you keep creating threads for every other offers under the service board to people when you can possibly go ahead and create such on service discussion board where there threads discussions are, if anyone should need a campaign or review as the case maybe, they should visit the section for that which is the service board, then every other discussion about those service are being done on service discussion board, you can do yourself well by taking note of this, to avoid having your post as spamming where threads are just being created out of no need.

469  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are You Buying More Tickets To Increase Your chances on: January 02, 2024, 05:29:54 PM
This is for lotto bettors :

Lotto is so popular here in our country that there's a lotto outlet on just about every corner of cities and towns in our country just the other day there was a long line of bettors because the Lotto 6/55 jackpot skyrocketed to P571,554,916.40 or $10,206,337 after no winners for a long time.

It's not about buying the tickets repeatedly that makes one win the jackpot, sometimes it's just a way they they also have developed to help increase their own income level while trying to make the lottery offer in other to earn more from the public aspirants, we can only make a single purchase and win, we may decided to make multiple entries and not win yet, everything is under risk if we are playing and we have the chances of winning or loosing just as the same as someone who's gambling.
470  Other / Archival / Re: Generational wealth on: January 02, 2024, 05:11:14 PM
Generational wealth is not directed to one person alone, everyone is entitled to have share under it but not everyone will definitely be a partakers in them because not all are ready to give the necessary requirements needed for it to be achieved, we should know that everything good in life comes with a task in demand, we therefore must be ready to make it a duty in working things out for ourselves through how we were being determined for it to make it come a reality, it's easy to make wealth but not easy to sustain it.

Congratulations to everyone of us who made it to the new year, we had a better experience with Bitcoin and the forum throughout last year and all these are what we cannot hesitate on for being what we were all being made of, this forum is a home for every bitcoiner a d we never take it for granted, also as well with Bitcoin, we are going to have the best blast on Bitcoin market price when we hear about the news on Bitcoin ETF approval if granted and then the Bitcoin halving coming on the way, this two major events alone were a good start to raise hopes on for the beginning of the year about Bitcoin.

There's no success without having the story behind how it all happened or turned to be that success people are talking about, we have the challenges in 2023 and also the successful achievement we made although the year 2023, what I will encourage us to have have in mind is in comparing the two together, take a look on how far you've started the year and how you ended it, what are the levels of downfalls and achievement you've set target on a made it through, you will discover that alot had been achieved we can point at than we have been through as challenge and still yet we overcome.

475  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto gambling and religious restrictions on: January 01, 2024, 06:39:28 PM
We should not go about deceiving ourselves, if you're a kind of person that is being religious and then your religion practice does not permit for gambling then don't try to put things in your hands than going by what your beliefs are in what you practice, some see it as an illegal means of making money, so when you gamble, it's believed that you're extorting from someone to please your own self at other's expense, this is most of the wrong believe the religious people have towards gambling and I don't know if they are the ones implementing that or from their religious book and ethics.
476  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tax on projects a scam habit? on: January 01, 2024, 06:10:12 PM
I also don't know much about task in altcoins, we make use of a presale order for the benefit of those that will be interested in making the project move forward to their target plan and also afford paying gas fee in like manners without going through any forms of paying tax, but maybe the exchanges and other cryptocurrency settings that were physically represented may take their own effort in paying tax because they can't escape the government regulations on that.
477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: i need a few trx for fee on: January 01, 2024, 05:34:32 PM
Hi there guys! Can someone donate me for 1-2 trx? I have usdt on my trx wallet but cannot to send it because have not trx for pay fee. Help please!
Or tell me how is possible to get it. I saw the trx faucets, but it so shitty work. It needs about 1 week to get 1 trx.

Don't even go towards the direction of finding alternatives through faucet, it won't make sense if you later got hunt by some of their tricks, it's very simple for you to just make use of an exchange and check the minimum amount you can afford to make a transaction with and the corresponding fee need, if what you're having isn't enough, then you can make a buy with your fiat to add up to what you already have, another solution is to exchange to Bitcoin and place an order by setting a limit at your own risk, you may be lucky to experience pump in price and then later exchange it back to USDT.
478  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Anytime na opportunity to invest for bitcoin on: January 01, 2024, 04:20:47 PM
If we are having any opportunity to make Bitcoin investment, then we shouldn't take that for granted, instead we should utilize it well and make investment in it because that is what we are going to refer back on in the future, some have been placed with the same opportunities in which they couldn't make an effective use of them and were later never been privileged again to be able to afford making another, that's why there are more means that we can use in acquiring Bitcoin for ourselves, also are there so many procedures to accumulate Bitcoin and hold as some make use of DCA to start with something small that can turns big later while reducing the risk and cost for losses.
479  Local / Off-topic (Naija) / Re: New year blessings my people on: January 01, 2024, 03:27:47 PM

480  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cash out or keep playing? on: December 30, 2023, 04:48:44 PM
I try to get out of the game even if I multiply my deposit by 2 times. Maybe that's why I haven't had any big wins except for a few medium-sized ones. But for me it is much more comfortable to gamble. I think that if I ever win a big win I will certainly end the game, because I know that it is very easy to lose money in gambling, and win extremely difficult. The most interesting thing is that everything can go completely differently, because emotions make us make mistakes.
In reality some of us can not control ourselves during playing in gambling band yes I've already experienced  such a bad decision in my life cause when I am in the world of gambling I cannot control myself bad we all know that it's better to stop for while when we are in a winning mode but our greed will take over it and then addiction will follow. So it's better than we have s good mindset that we must not okay more after our win.

For a person that has made up his mind to continue with gambling despite he's loosing or not will same way have to embrace the outcome to his actions for not quiting when it was necessary, we have some people who can really afford spending much on gambling and not minding the consequences for that while some cannot just afford loosing and having that done repeatedly, yet they can't give it a caution to pause and restrategise for another day.
