Well, well what a surprise we received today, Ajax again with problems?, what happened to them?, not a good time to have a lost like this, it was also a chance to took the foruth position and start to look in the third one, but ended up being a very bad day for them, i cant see the match, they play good and had bad luck? or they play horrible?, anyways you cant allow 3 goals from Heereven.
Didn't saw their game too, but at one moment they were down 3:0, and it's embarrasing because their opponent was just mid table team. But their loses isn't something surprising with squad that they have.
After draw with Ajax, PSV put their anger on Volendam and destroyed them 5:1.
And Rotterdam derby, it took almost hour for Feyenoord to score, but it doesn't reflect game well, difference of level between them and Sparta was just too big.
462  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Portuguese League - Liga Portugal 2023/24 on: February 11, 2024, 05:43:12 PM
Sporting - Braga starting soon. Odds for Sporting went up a bit, but when you see how they're playing, especially at home, it's difficult to expect for upset here. Though, they lost to Braga in League Cup few weeks ago, but I think that it gives them some extra motivation. I go with over 2.5 goals in this game.
Vitoria Guimaraes - Benfica, one of rare cases in Portugal when odds for Benfica win looks a bit attractive. Vitoria is having good season, already achieved win against Sporting, took a point from Braga and gave good fight against Porto.
463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⭐ Sportsbet's Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) – 10000$ rewards ⭐⚽⭐ on: February 10, 2024, 11:54:30 PM
Well... After a goal from Stanišić Leverkusen scored two more goals so it wouldn't make a difference even if he wasn't playing. They would have lost either way. And that's good news for me because it means that I have secured the win in this round. I might be wrong because I can't make myself checking on the phone, but if memorije serves me right, LTU_btc and me had only three different answers and I'm up 2-0.
Congrats with a win, deserved. It looks that curse of Harry Kane moved from Spurs to Bayern and he simply can't win titles. Xabi Alonso is doing amazing job with Bayer and nobody won't be surprised if he will be next manager of Liverpool. Though, despite everything I still believe that they still can choke somehow in final rounds of league and give title away to Bayern. They're called Neverkusen not without a reason.
464  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: F1 Formula Sports Racing - Sportsbet.io promotions & discussion thread on: February 10, 2024, 07:17:59 PM
Heard some news most hadn't heard before but they have something going on brought to the Swiss courts in regards to the branding of this F1 car.
On several podcasts I had briefly heard F1 sponsorships can not include anything to do with gambling.
So maybe they will just have this livery for testing in Barcelona set to take on this week and Kick promptly placed on the livery when they race.
As I understand, gambling advertisements is allowed in F1, but in some countries where they're racing it's illegal and probably they wouldn't be alllowed to display Stake name there. As of going to court, Sauber is Swiss team, while Stake don't have license which is accepted there, their license as usual in crytpo gambling is issued in Curacao.

Still not so sure about the name as it looks like a mashup of advertisers names. Thought the RB was for the obvious naming format but it is not.
https://www.the-race.com/formula-1/visa-cashapp-rb-worst-f1-name-red-bull
Great article, nailed it what's wrong with their name. Simply everyting is wrong with it and it's hard to remember worse F1 team name. I'm still wondering how commentators are going to call them. Racing Bulls sounds most logical, but it makes confusion with Red Bull.
465  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread 2023/2024 on: February 10, 2024, 07:01:58 PM
After today's game it's difficult to imagine what have to happen that Real wouldn't win La Liga this season. In one of key games of season they're destroying Girona, 4:0 already with more than 20 minutes remaining. Girona can be great in rest of games, but in both meeting with Real they had no chance completely and they return to reality now. Yeah, they still have great chances to get spot in Champions league, what would be something what nobody expected before season, but dreams about title is over. A bit sad :/
466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 23/24 European basketball discussion: Euroleague/BBL/ACB/LegaA/LNB/TBL.. on: February 09, 2024, 11:12:20 PM
Yesterday I forgot to mention one extremely rare thing in Euroleague - Baskonia's Codi Miller-McIntyre achieved triple double with 11 points, 10 rebounds and 20 assists. It's just 4th triple double in Euroleague's history. And also, 20 assists is new record.
Looks that Crvena Zvezda will have to play next one or few games without spectators. Even if referees did mistake there, it doesn't gives right you to start throwing stuff to referees and players. While Zalgiris is on fire, they won 4 from 5 recent Euroleague games and getting closer to playins. Coach Trinchieri really changed face of team.
Panathinaikos got nice win vs Fenerbahche, they got advantage in 2nd quarter and didn't let their opponents into striking distance until the end. And Virtus - Monaco, great game between two similar level teams, just someone has to lose it and it was Virtus this time.
No Euroleague next week as we have time dedicated for National Cups.

Is someone watching the woman's olympic qualifiers which are taking place since yesterday?
There are some great games in the books already. Japan made it rain from 3 beating Spain in the "group of death (other teams Canada and Hungary).
Team USA came from behind after being down big against Belgium. After the comeback in the 4th Belgium took the lead again shortly before the end but USA won by 2, really sad because Belgium really deserved it ( they have been a 16 point underdog by the way ) .
Have nothing against womens basketball, but in general, I only watch it when my national team is playing. After watching mens basketball, it's not easy to watch women's basketball with lover speed, less phisicality and other stuff. I didn't even knew that there is Olympic qualification now. Why USA and France is playing there, despite already having spot in Olympics as World Cup winners or hosts?
467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 23/24 European basketball discussion: Euroleague/BBL/ACB/LegaA/LNB/TBL.. on: February 08, 2024, 09:44:48 PM
Efes had to play their home game in Riga, Latvia, but they felt like at home. They got very solid win against direct competitor and now just 2 wins away from play-in zone.
Milan - Real, in 2nd half Milan had 21 point lead, but that's not enough to feel confident because Real is team that never give up. They made strong comeback in 4th quarter, but Milan survives somehow and got very rare win vs Real, just 5th in XXI century if I hear right.
Wow, such painful defeat for Partizan at home. They had chances to close game in 4th quarter, didn't managed to do it and paid huge price. I really can't understand how it happened that Kaminsky was left to defend against Francisco... And still, Punter was so close from winning game in 0.8 seconds
468  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Bundesliga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread 2023/2024 on: February 08, 2024, 08:36:45 PM
the reason for this is that the potential involvement of an investor in the german football league (DFL) is viewed critically by most organized fan scenes. they object to the further commercialization of football in germany and the potential influence of the investor.
it started with chocolate coins being thrown in front of the goal - now tennis balls are being used because they keep on flying...
Thanks for explanation. Union is unique club with unique fans. It's one of few old fashioned clubs in big leagues who still keep their strong identity and it's more important than doing business for them.

Really respecting what Germans managed to do with their league. Full stadiums and healthy financial status should have much higher priority in football than it does.

4 points from this postponed game came handy for me to keep in touch with top positions.
Man, I sometimes randomly tune in Bundesliga 2 games and it's amazing. Probably they are in Top 5 by attendance in Europe and we're talking about 2nd division.
Though, not everything is so great. Schalke have big debts and if they will relegate to 3rd division, it probably will be the end of their glorious story as club wouldn't get license to play. It would be a shame.
469  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: February 08, 2024, 08:18:27 PM
Zelensky has replaced Valerii Zaluzhnyi with Syrskyi. Let's see which changes in strategy this brings, within the limited options given the indecision of US and the issues with Hungary in the EU, although 50 billion in funding for 4 years has been finally unblocked. Zaluz was keen on enhancing the technology role and at this point there were probably issues around what is happening in Avdiivka.
Talks about it were coming for few recent weeks and it only looked only matter of time. Personally, I think it's not right decision, but who I'm to judge them? Still, it leaves some bad taste in mouth. It looks that main reason why Zaluzhnyi was fired was not successful counteroffensive. Zelensky wants to see progress and seems that no matter what price of it will be, that's my observation.
Syrskyi, not really sure about him, I read mixed opinions on him, some even calling him the butcher. On the other hand he was responsible for defense of Kyiv and successful Kharkiv counteroffensive.
BTW, interesting detail that he was born in Russia and graduated from Moscow Higher Military Command School. That's probably one of rare cases when person can be called as good Russian.
470  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do we need more influencial women in crypto to help the gender embrace it? on: February 07, 2024, 08:53:14 PM
Do we really have to bring in that gender debate and that toxic culture associated with it into the crypto space too?

Here majority of us are anonymous and prefer to stay that way, crypto has never been of that mainstream ideology and I would prefer it to be like that. But obviously someone will always differ in motions.

A lot of women already are in crypto but they dont show their details. I dont mind that, after all my job on this space is to learn about bitcoin and make money not anything else.
Exactly my thoughts. Crypto is one of rare remaining places where we don't have this toxic thing. I actually never thought that there is very few women in crypto. Yeah, there is less than men, but not so few that it would be a problem actually. And as you say, staying anonymous is a thing in crypto, no matter that someone would like to change it, some people just don't want to disclose their identity, gender.
Equal rights is great thing, but in most cases you won't have 50/50 ratio of man and women, no matter it's crypto, science, sports, art or something. Unless you're pushing this thing artificially.

Tucker Carlson arrived to Moscow. Not big deal you will say and you will be completely wrong. Just in 2 days Russian agency RIA posted more than 70 messages about him. And some of these is just more than ridiculous:
https://t.me/themedia/6817
It's strange to see American journalist propagandist getting so much attention, it looks that someone bigger than presidents and other main politicians has arrived. It's expected that he will be first person from West who will take interview from Putin after start of war.

And yes, Ruzzia is invading an independent country, it is the agressor.
C'mon, this dude literally said that Ukraine is aggressor who invading territory of Russia, it seems that lives in some kind of alternative reality.
472  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Bundesliga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread 2023/2024 on: February 07, 2024, 08:10:41 PM
Thanks for reminder, it was needeed. Bundesliga is strict with calendar and usually you don't expect such midweek games. Wasted chance to get yellow cap, congrats to darxiaomi.
Game was postponed for some time as Union started throwing tennis balls to pitch. As I understand it was their protest, but does anyone know against what?
BTW, I see that Cup game between Saarbrucken and Gladbach got postponed because of waterlogged pitch. Good decision because it looked that pitch fits more for waterpolo than football. Just pity for away fans who made long trip on midweek.
473  Economy / Reputation / Re: What happens if someone sells an account on a neighboring forum? on: February 06, 2024, 08:50:08 PM
My head actually thinks otherwise, they won't close the shop as long as there are still people willing to buy it.

Actually, it's not too bad, because most websites are used to make a profit, in fact there are not many websites that voluntarily develop communities without profit interests, one of which is Bitcointalk, and not many others.
Yeah, there is no point to close it as long it brings money for you. And I doubt that there is such thing as desired amount. As long as money is coming, they will want for more.
Is everyone using altcoinstalks now?
Today it was probably first time when I visited this forum. As I understand it only become a thing just after mixer ban on Bitcointalk. Saw some familiar names from Bitcointalk, but I doubt that big part of active Bitcointalk members is active there. But damn, after you get used to Bitcointalk and lications of all boards here, it's difficult to find something on other forum.

If the game finished before the deadline, then it's not faith to the people that are currently asleep and don't know about it. Personally I don't care if it's voided or not because both me and LTU_btc answered "Yes".
Well, actually I'm one of these who tried to benefit by using VAR. First I wasn't sure about it, but after Jordan scored 2nd goal, I went for it.
If game outcome was known before deadline, probably it's right decision to void question. Though, I think that we had similar case when of tennis players or Ronnie O'Sullivan pulled out from tournament before deadline and question wasn't voided. Offcourse, I may be wrong.
Anyway, not blaming Cro2, there is just so many aspect to consider when they make questions.
475  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⭐ Sportsbet's Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) – 10000$ rewards ⭐⚽⭐ on: February 05, 2024, 10:13:28 PM
OK, my answers are in. This time I have checked the spreadsheet and everything should be set for this round. This time I'm up against LTU_btc who is fighting to stay in division 1. Good luck man!
Thanks, man, good luck to you too!

hard to root for all relegation fighters, someone has to relegate, and if I had to pick favorites, I am rooting for LTU_btc, can't imagine that he is going down this season
it probably has something to less Euroleague basketball in questions, since he is very active there, go Rytas

but FWIW, you are one of most worthy members of Div1 as well, go and put your best into last two rounds, to stay here next season as well
Thanks for support, mate! I have feeling that if I will relegate to Division 2 now, I will get stuck there for long. It's very competetive and it would be difficult to repeat such comeback what slaman29 did just after one season.
Yeah, having more Euroleague questions would help, but I'm trying my best. Submitted answers now.

P.S Obviously Super Bowl question is inclued, you can't miss such things. But thanks for not asking anything about Taylor Swift there LOL Grin.
476  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: February 05, 2024, 09:22:41 PM
Damn, so, much bullshit that it doesn't even fits into single post Smiley
The truth is that just like leaders in the west, very many have let their hatred for Russia born from sheer misinformation and propaganda cloud their common sense of reasoning and judgement, engaging in very dangerous and careless acts that are self hurting and destructive all in the bid to either harm Russia or kill a few Russians
Yeah, Russia is soft and fluffy, there is no reason in this world to hate them, it's all just propaganda.
Quote
just like the very silly and destructive sanctions on Russia in which Europe basically shot itself in the head by refusing to buy cheap Russian gas which is the backbone of their economy thinking they were all powerful
Cheap Russian gas, is it really that cheap. But in general, gas was tool for Russia to blackmail Europe for many years, thanks to politicians like Merkel who made Europe fully depend on Russian gas.
Quote
for the 1st time in history put themselves in a place where they can be considered as legit targets and supporters of yet another invasion into territories Russia considers it's own
So, now it's Ukraine making invasion into territory of Russia? Wondering, how many countries in the world consider that these territories belongs to Russia. I don't know, maybe Russia considers that Alaska is their land too because they used to control it.

Quote
To put it into context, imagine if Russia trained and armed mexico or the cartels in mexico which is the united states standard modus operandi and engaged in a violent overthrow o the government there and then launched attacks to reclaim territories which are historically theirs say california, Texas killing tens of thousands of us citizens and killing and injuring tens of thousands of us servicemen what would the reaction be
Wouldn't the us visit upon them what was visited upon the Japanese and we're all here spinning our propaganda acting like the Russians are the big bad wolf and terrible for the world when we know clearly who the agents of death and conflict and destabilization of governments around the world are(America)
Wow, such whataboutism, but it doesn't even makes sense.

Wonderful and intriguing argument you put up there, the half of Europe you've mentioned were conquered by the Nazis and liberated by the soviets at huge costs of both man and machine,be mindful of the term liberated not fucked, the way you construct your argument not bringing to mind the question of why the soviets went there in the first place,if the Nazis didn't conquer all these parts of Germany why would the soviets March to all this countries, when have the soviets or Russians ever invaded other countries historically except in connection to when they were invade themselves like in the Napoleonic wars, the period after the Russian revolution when the us and Europe and Japan tried to invade Russia

In general, Soviets weren't better than Nazis at all, they were just another occupants. You want to say that things like deportations to Siberia or Holdomor in Ukraine isn't better than genocide of jews. ''when have the soviets or Russians ever invaded other countries historically'' - really? Like Soviet Union itself wasn't occupation which lasted for 50 years. And I guess that invasion to Georgia in 2008 and to Ukraine in 2014 and 2022 doesn't counts as invasion for you because you will find reason to justify it.

The push to put Ukraine into NATO and to station us NATO troops and missiles(nuclear) maybe in Ukraine yet Russia is the aggressor
I'm wondering why Russia don't have problems with Poland, Baltic States, Finland being NATO members, while Ukraine is already danger for Russia. And I'm wondering from where you took that part about deplying nuclear missiles in Ukraine. BTW, when Budapest Memorandum was signed in 1994 and Ukraine gave up their nuclear weapons, following text was signed:
Quote
1.Respect the signatory's independence and sovereignty in the existing borders (in accordance with the principles of the CSCE Final Act).
2. Refrain from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of the signatories to the memorandum, and undertake that none of their weapons will ever be used against these countries, except in cases of self-defense or otherwise in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations.
3. Refrain from economic coercion designed to subordinate to their own interest the exercise by Ukraine, the Republic of Belarus and Kazakhstan of the rights inherent in its sovereignty and thus to secure advantages of any kind.
4. Seek immediate Security Council action to provide assistance to the signatory if they "should become a victim of an act of aggression or an object of a threat of aggression in which nuclear weapons are used
~snip~
We see how Russia is following declaration that they signed...
477  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many bitcoin you are holding? on: February 05, 2024, 08:37:20 PM
No, OP, I'm not going to disclose how much BTC I have. You don't really need to know it. I doubt that you would tell to random strangers on streets how much savings you have.
Plan for next bull run? Honestly, haven't thought about it at all. Maybe I'm not going to do anything Smiley.

Probably you met no harm. But let me give you a little hint. Have you heard or read about dust attacks?
Now disclosing your hodlings could help trace your wallet and promote the easy for a dust attack.
Aside from being careful about your seed phrase and private keys you also need to be careful how you share information like hodlings and even the wallet address of your hodling wallet.
I recommend you check these post out
Disclosing how much BTC you hold can make into target of scammers, possibly phishing attacks and similar stuff. But didn't thought about thing like dust attack. Yeah, it sounds a bit complex, but possible.

Williams design is nice, but when cars will be racing on track, it will be difficult to spot difference from 2023.
But it will be difficult to beat Sauber, so far it's best livery for me, this bright green is so eye-catching. Maybe they won't fight for highest positions this year, but their car will be visible without any doubts.
479  Other / Politics & Society / Re: World Cancer Day on: February 05, 2024, 08:15:26 PM
Your advises is good in general for people who want healthy lifestyle, but I'm not sure how much it can protect from cancer. Unfortunately, in general there is no effective prevention which can protect from cancer. And cancer doesn't pick people, whether you're young or old, healthy or ill, rich or poor.
But you mentioned very important aspect - people should visit doctors on regular basis for chekups. Finding cancer at early phase will increase chance to recover. Because in many cases it's just too late...
480  Economy / Reputation / Re: What happens if someone sells an account on a neighboring forum? on: February 04, 2024, 09:14:18 PM
I have no idea what's happening on that other forum, but I have a bit different concern than you. If that other forum will be quite active, I think there may be attempts to impersonate Bitcointalk members and use famous name to scam people. Offcourse, it's easy to prove who is who with things like staked address, but not everyone is avare about these things, especially on other forum. So, such things may harm your reputation, you will have to waste explaining that it wasn't you and you will have negative search result about yourself on Google.
