I couldn't agree right now a bitcoin is worth 15$ so don't treat it like its worth 20$ or even 30$. I wonder though how merchants will update their prices based on bitcoin exchange fluctuation.
I treat half my bitcoins like they're worth $100, coz I'm keeping them for the long term.

It couldn't hurt to provide that. Also keep the balance info displayed on every page, especially since you make us do the math when creating buy/sell orders, which is something that should also be improved.
Personally, I'd put this issue ahead of nicer charts. It's very tedious to do manually.

I feel like short rounds work around midnight and such, but longer rounds would work for other times.
It's always just after midnight. Currently 12:29am. (somewhere)

That don't need a name.
Yeah, let's call them 0.00000001 btc

No bad experience. Just nobody wants to buy my stuff at prices comparable with the exact product on ebay. That's my own personal gripe. Other than that I don't see how we can get fresh blood involved if they have to get screwed on a transaction just to get their feet wet.
How about linking to it, now that you have people's attention?

How about bringing back the post rating system (just for applause, no smiting):
You can get out of the newbie zone once you have a certain amount of +1 rated posts. You can only +1 a post if you're out of the newbie zone.
That way it's not just a matter of spamming your way to 50 or whatever the number is set at. They have to be good posts that a non-newbie will +1 you for.
It could still be set at just 5.

I disagree. There are PLENTY of other games around to choose from that last longer.
This is good for people who actually want to play a shorter one.

It's fine now, I got the coins and OP can close this thread, but I'll repeat this good advice offered elsewhere on this forum:
Make sure your client is online with a good amount of connections (8?) before attempting any send.

From what I heard, Tradehill is out of Chile, while MtGox is out of Japan, so it makes you think.
As opposed to the US or Australia, which makes you stare into space like a vegetable.

Seems the min is much too high on this one.

Hi r, my offer has expired by the way. Tradehill price continues to drop...

I am transferring all my bitmoin to tradehill (affiliate link), what about you ?
See the m on the question? That's why I never transfer my bitmoin.

Just allow the Newbie section to have two sections, maybe one tech side and the other currency.
Ha, for a second then I thought you were going to suggest splitting them into ultra-new and slightly-new.

Not just keep it. He as the founder of the bitcoin system, have more responsibility than later adopters to make it widely adopted.
How do you know he even has any left? Hookers and blow aren't cheap you know.

Bring it on... I've got a TH buy order sitting on about 12.5 in case it drops hard while I'm asleep.

Got the coins, thanks... let us know if you want to sell any more.

Lol, I pm'ed her asking her exactly what she was after.
I've read the entire thread... it seems to me she wasn't after anything... just offering (good) free advice that fell on deaf ears.
