481  Other / Meta / Re: I'm not spam and my account was ban on: June 09, 2018, 07:42:46 PM
I can't agree that you're not spamming. 95% of your posts are just social media bounty reports. Do you think that's not spam? Though, I'm not sure that it was reason why you got ban? Maybe you plagiarised content? It's most common reason of bans on Bitcointalk.
Yeah, LTU_btc was right, you will not be ban if there are no valid reason. Most of your post are totally spam that's why you cant deny that you didn't spam at all. The only way to take back your account is to appeal in the given link. But just like other Members who experienced the same issue, you only have 90% to retrieve it back because as far as I know, this is a permanent ban (If I'm  not mistaken).
482  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Know the most helpful self volunteer list for this forum here on: June 09, 2018, 07:30:38 PM
There are too many helpful threads that can be found here by just visiting every boards and I think it's not too necessary to compile them all. It is still much better for Newbies to visit every boards just to find helpful threads so that they can be also familiar with every section of this forum. I'm pretty sure that your main purpose of creating this thread is to help new members right? Old Members won't need a compilation of these threads for sure as they already knew all about this that's why letting them (Newbies) to wander around is much better.

But still, it's a good idea, it's better to create a thread like this than those non-sense threads that other members repeatedly creating. Keep it up Smiley
483  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcoin forum rankings on: June 09, 2018, 07:14:43 PM
many spammers are stioll not aware about it. They are just spamming on Altcoin board, Bitcoin discussion and etc...... They probably just don't know that such thing exist. OP is a perfect example of such users.
I doubt that OP isn't aware about Merit System. He just sent sMerits back in March 31 and April 16 of 2018 meaning that he already know that there are such system that exited. The problem why OP still managed to ask such a thing is because probably he doesn't know the main purpose of the Merit System. He didn't know that Merit is a requirement to rank up. This is the result of those members who doesn't contribute to the forum and only do bounty stuffs.

I believed that there are still some members out there who doesn't know a thing about Merit System, usually are those members who only pays attention to their local boards and bounties and not even visiting Meta section. By the way they won't be able to receive Merits as they only spreads spam posts in the forum and they will only definitely beg for Merits if they found out about this System so there is no need for them to be informed.
484  Other / Meta / Re: Please make Vod , a moderator of btctalk or he will tarnish new sellers image. on: June 09, 2018, 05:48:10 PM
What exactly do you mean with this "-ve" thing? I'm sorry but I don't really get it.

Look at this wannabe moderator,
Vod is not a wanna be moderator. In fact we are grateful that he is cleaning up some of this Forum's mess even though he's not a moderator.

I know he is an old member.
Yeah, that's why he is more trusted than you.

By the way, I feel sorry for your account. But it seems like Vod is the only one who has the right to remove your Negative Feedback (It is if he's gonna remove it for a valid reason).
485  Other / Meta / Re: Merit system fact on: June 08, 2018, 05:35:53 AM
it is an irony when in the title you said merit system fact yet your post is about your opinion  Grin
Yeah, it really got me. When I saw the threads title when I visit Meta section I thought it was really a fact. But it got me wrong, it's just a shitpost containing nothing but a shit. Yet, OP is still encouraged to create such a thread without knowing it's real content. Merit? To stop scammers?

Well, let's just hope that this one is not the last post we can see about this kind of topic that has been posted over and over again  Cheesy Looks like Bitcointalk is in a loop of these shitposters trying to manipulate us by their repeatedly nonsense topics.

Welcome to forum, new? Or a farm account  Roll Eyes
487  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Is hardware wallet can be hacked? on: June 08, 2018, 05:02:06 AM
Hardware wallets are seriously secured. I've never seen any cases that their Hardware wallets has been hacked. The only way hackers can hack your Hardware wallet is when they got your private keys which depends on how you took care of 'em. But as long as you can keep your private key safe, there's nothing to worry about.

Being a victim of hackers doesn't mean that these hackers are computer geniuses and can do everything remotely, sometimes it only depends on how we take care of our important files, passwords and informations because they are just looking for their target's weakness before they attack.

Example.
If you are just too careless about your password. Then expect that someone has already got it.
488  Other / Meta / Re: Need a forum for merit? on: June 08, 2018, 03:20:58 AM
Thanks.  You should try licking your own boob - it's quite empowering... you no longer lust after the female boobs...  Tongue
I would be very happy to lick my boob all day it is IF I can just only reach it. Even Yoga training won't be able to help me to reach my boob in just a year. I would rather lick someone else's boobs than to break my back bone trying to lick mine.  Grin

The point is, another person CAN use the name "Vod" and they CAN use my avatar.   The only place I feel comfortable interacting with another user is from the point where their account has been initially validated - here.
Indeed Smiley
489  Other / Meta / Re: Need a forum for merit? on: June 08, 2018, 02:59:45 AM
Try posting your articles here. I think Bitcointalk is a high quality forum and would definietly have merits to spare for good writers.
But the problem is, he has no good quality post and even what we can call "article" to provide. He's talking about his article that didn't even receive Merits and been forgotten but no such article in his posts really exist. Maybe it's just a "shitpost" (No offense).

And there is only one true VOD; all imposters will be dealt with harshly Grin
Probably right. Whenever I see the name "Vod" around here in the forum. That guy licking his boob is the first thing that comes to my mind. All I'm trying to say is, Yes maybe they can create an account with the similar name. But as long as they can't wear the "guy licking his boob" picture, they are imposters for sure. It is if they can only wear it with a 5% chance to rank up to full member to wear an avatar  Cheesy

BUT, something is different from the usual merit beggar
He has no signature and he is not doing airdrops/bounty stuff Huh
It is either because he is a smart one, because he's begging for Merits first before participating any bounties so then he will be able to earn more money if he rank up
Or
This account is a alt one and is trying to beg for Merits to send to his real one.

Thank you for the help, I knew what to do.
Thank you !
Well, good to know. Then lock the thread and start going to the moon.
490  Other / Meta / Re: How can I overcome the merit barrier? on: June 07, 2018, 06:04:38 AM
You're starting to understand those members who can't earn even a single Merit because you knew to your self that you can't also get Merits. I know that you already knew that your post won't receive merits, then why don't you try to improve your posts? You really like to rank up isn't? Then the only way for you to earn Merits is to quit posting one liner post or should I say "shitpost" in Megathreads and improve yourself. No one will ever give Merits in such posts in Megathreads except if your reply has a great contribution.

All I'm telling you is, you have two option.
1. Keep posting posts like what we can see in you post history then suffer from being a Member for the rest of your life.

Or

2. Improve yourself and activate your super powers to receive enough xp and rank up. (I'm talking about knowledge and Merits, hope you get it).
491  Other / Meta / Re: banned from posting or sending personal messages . on: June 07, 2018, 04:52:44 AM
It only occurs when someone has reported your personal message as a spam. Are you advertising via PM or you've been up against someone here in the forum and started to make a war via sending him/her a PM? Someone has probably reported you and it is approved by admin that your PM is a totally spam.

cissrawk is right. It is the only way to unban your account and I'm telling you, there are already some threads/issues about this back in 2017 and having a response to the appeal email really takes some time. And you have a low chance to unban your account unless you have a valid reason.
492  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [Survey] Which is the best game we should invest? on: June 07, 2018, 02:11:30 AM
Unfortunately, I can't be able to answer your question but I've posted to tell you something. I think this thread of yours is not worthy of being here in Service section unless of you're gonna give reward for those who will answer.

I've never seen such surveys that are being held in this section and I believe that this topic doesn't belong here. Except if I'm mistaken.
493  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: ☀️[CONTEST]☀️ BitcoinReal Symbol Contest.$1000 and more in BTC on: June 05, 2018, 05:12:55 PM
Should it be really a coin? Or just a logo will be fine?
494  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I got merits, lots of them - do you want some?? on: June 05, 2018, 02:54:39 PM
Lastly, I wonder if any of the people on this forum that are constantly telling others to learn English have ever made a personal effort to learn another language before preaching others to learn theirs.
Yeah, they didn't even know how hard it is for people who don't speak their language more often. English is not my first language but I've been studying how to speak English fluently since when I'm in Elementary School until now, I'm a college student but still having trouble to speak English clearly. It's due to people around here doesn't speak English too much.

I think that I would choose Chinese or Russian if I had to decide now.
I would prefer to learn Japanese if ever that I've learned English 88% successfully.

Great efforts to explain types of wallets to the newbies who are confused while taking the decision to choose their wallet.
Good job you @silent26 for this extensive and detailed post.
Hi guys, thanks for finding my thread helpful. This is an old post of mine and I can't believe that there are still some people that are being enlightened and helped by this simple thread of mine. Thanks for your good comments.
Glad you liked it Smiley
499  Other / Meta / Re: Merit Idea on: June 03, 2018, 08:13:22 AM
Then you were just giving Merit famers the opportunity to farm more merits easily. Not all Merit senders has a good intention of sharing their merits. Some of them are just sharing or trading their merits in exchange of sending back merits or money which is wrong. If this idea was implemented, then the grin in the faces of those Merit abusers will just get bigger, and will definitely reach their ears.

Merits that has been kept by other members will decay in the future and it's up to them if they're gonna give it or not. Members who keep all of their sMerit won't benefit them. Don't force them if they really don't want to use their sMerits, let them to intentionally give it.
500  Other / Meta / Re: Replying on a thread on: June 03, 2018, 07:26:58 AM
Some of us sometimes face an issue of getting delete of our replies by mod because some members from the forum report it. Reason behind report is of course, the quality of our reply.

It is not the only reason why some replies in a particularly thread is getting deleted. It is also because a particular reply is either non constructive or off topic. In short, SPAM.

Actually, it doesn't need to your "English" to be really precise, as long as your giving full support to the idea of the topic and as long as you can deliver your statements properly then it will be just fine. But still, it is really much better to make it as constructive as you can.

Quote
I also agree on it. Without having knowledge on English, how can someone be able to write a proper reply.
As long as you can understand English, there will be no problem at all.
