Why don't you try and find out? Wink
Since 2012 I have been reading that it was too late to get in, who knows what the future holds for btc.
482  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin used by criminals ? on: January 10, 2018, 03:14:35 AM
Of course bitcoin is being used by criminals as well. So are cash, bank accounts, credit cards, boats, cars, helicopters.. You get the point Wink

Most likely safe, but actually not safe until you transfer your coins to a new wallet.
Transfer asap.
485  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook & Google creating its own Cryptocurrency! on: January 06, 2018, 07:59:09 PM
Why do people think creating some centralized digital currency is going to be revolutionary? They should just integrate btc into their platforms. Wink

487  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: INSANE BITCOIN TRANSACTION FEES!!! on: January 04, 2018, 09:32:54 PM
Merchants are in double thinking if they will still continue accepting bitcoin because some are just rather to hold their Bitcoin untill the transaction fee is lower than to send it right away and because some choosing custom way to send the confirmation takes about 4 days or more

Not only the fees are at fault here, also the transaction times form a problem for merchants.
488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Bitcore- BTX - SEGWIT - lowest fee - hybrid fork 1:0.5 of Bitcoin on: January 04, 2018, 04:25:59 PM

Yobit is a joke.  I’m trying to do a password reset and they literally want my password to do the reset.  Hahaha.  A while new level of incompetence.
yobit is indeed a shitexchange but if it help more people get in, why not? binance would be a hit in volume and then the price will moon

I agree, hope they at least distribute the november 2 snapshot to yobit users.

Breaking News: Bitcoin Developer Jimmy Song positive about Bitcore BTX

"Bitcore [...] is something that’s between a hard fork and an airdrop. BitCore (BTX) basically took the UTXO set from Bitcoin, compressed the outputs for each address and distributed on their chain."

489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sirius A New Smart Chain Freely Distributed on: January 04, 2018, 03:52:40 PM
Dear dev ,to fill the form for some distribution coin,  i just need to fill  one of the bitcointalk account info or  github info.  Is it right ?  Or i need fill both of the information

Read the OP, Currently the Airdrop is only open to Sr. Member & Up or If you have Developer Account in GitHub

What is developer account on github? Is it special status? I have found requiremts on the registration of account on the GitHub before the 30 November 2017. Why are you talking about developer account?

l have the same question

If you don't know what it is, you probably don't have it Wink A developer account costs 7usd a month.

Can we get a distribution list up dev?
490  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoins become worthless? on: January 03, 2018, 01:48:55 AM
It could become worthless, just like the us dollar could collapse and could become worthless. But I don't think we'll see it happen to bitcoin.
491  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why media against bitcoin ? on: January 03, 2018, 01:44:53 AM
The media are too easy to take a bite on any stories without fact checking just to have a scoop and profit. Scare-mongerers, I say.

Even if they would fact check, 90% of them do not understand what they are writing about. Wink

493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can ETH reach BTC value ? on: December 29, 2017, 04:38:15 PM
Of course this is what everyone who invests in ethereum wants, but in reality I don't see it happen.
494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SMART] SmartCash POW with Instant Payment + SmartRewards + SmartNodes on: December 29, 2017, 04:26:11 PM
222364 block. new annonce? heh

We not officially announce here and now we do Smiley because bitcointalk are big community and we don't want to lose people

So where is that community that mined all those blocks? Bitcointalk is the biggest crypto forum in existance, why wouldn't you want to launch here?
You didn't want people from bitcointalk to know about this when there were 0 blocks mined, but with 200k+ mined you want people from here to join and you all of the sudden make an announcement?
495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Bitcore- BTX - SEGWIT - lowest fee - hybrid fork 1:0.5 of Bitcoin on: December 29, 2017, 04:19:01 PM
hey guys! can i get airdrop if i not have btx coins?

If you had BTC when October snapshot was taken you can claim the coins using a wallet and private keys.

no, i don`t have =/
i think i get from airdrop 1 coin..

If you don't have btc to claim btx with. Then you either have to buy at least 1 btx or mine one.
496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Bitcore- BTX - SEGWIT - lowest fee - hybrid fork 1:0.5 of Bitcoin on: December 27, 2017, 02:59:04 PM
Was justing hoping Bitcore would go PoS after the airdrop is over Kiss. 2018 would be a massive one without any doubt.

No thanks, pos isn't massive at all.

Hi to all I have some question... in coinmarketcap says that the total supply is 16M when there will be a total of 21M of BTX why?
I don't know the real circulating supply is correct, and why coinmarketcap is showing bad information for this coin?

Nobody knows why...bitcore team is on ignore @ coinmarketcap

497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HitBTC scamming his users about Leviarcoin XLC on: December 27, 2017, 02:03:12 AM
the Leviarcoin  wallet  in HitBTC still closed and this is make the price there higher then the cryptopia market price and we have mention that the wallet never was open ,the HitBTC said cause of network Problem and  this thing Which is denied by the leviarcoin team; one member of the team said :

Quote
Hopefully we will have a better experience with the exchanges than we had we HitBTC. the bastards at some point I think during or after the ICO they asked us to sell them 200k XLC for 0.6BTC and 200K at that time was worth 10BTC. we refused since then they ignore all our emails.

In addition to all of this he doesn't respond to his users emails about this problem and now they delisted it
This makes a scamming scenario by HitBTC very possible

This shady behavior is not something new for HitBTC. Right now they are doing the same with DIM COIN. They blocked the DIM COIN deposits and pumped the price. I think we all should boycott them!

If you check out their forum, you'll see it's riddled with threads about withdrawal problems and wallets being unavailable. Hitbtc has become a shady place with bad customer support.
498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Segwit2x fork on dec 28th on: December 26, 2017, 11:05:40 PM
Are you blind? Can't you see the other segwitx2 threads on the frontpage of this section or something?

This is just going to be some shitty fork made by some random clowns who want to lift on bitcoin's name and make a quick buck.
Stay away and dump imo.
499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Segwit2x Dec 28th on: December 26, 2017, 11:01:30 PM
Guys, i think its just a joke. This is Huge news and would be everywhere if was true.

Read the warning here before you mistakenly take this fork at face value.

I wish it were a joke, but they're trying their best to get their "news" everywhere.  I've seen "sponsored" articles on several news sites, (NewsBTC, bitcoin.com, coinblip and others) which means they've paid money out of their own pockets to advertise this doppelganger and try to pass it off as the real SegWit2x, which was (and remains) cancelled.  If they're spending money on advertising it, that means they probably have a plan on how to recoup that investment.  I can't help but wonder if they're stealing coins from private keys that don't belong to them on this newly created chain, maybe they plan on using some of those funds for themselves.

Again, this is not the "real" SegWit2x.  It's a morally ambiguous clone with a misappropriated name.  Tread carefully.

Strong this^

Seems like a shady way to get started, initially staying away from this one but will dump soon after  Grin
500  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My altcoins are in proft. Should I take profits now, before BTC rises again? on: December 26, 2017, 10:53:45 PM
As long as you're invested in solid projects I wouldn't worry too much, but take profits on the shitcoins or coins you foresee being troubled in the future.
