Here in Afcon we have some blows, but not so big like the ones in Asia, but are we gonna see a unprecent final like South Africa-Congo?

As I said above before, this is the one I would really like to see! I have no feelings towards any of the remaining teams, so of course as a neutral, I want the most exciting. I feel like though if the final really becomes Congo-South Africa, it might be the most boring one, as both teams will want to win it too badly, or am I wrong?

Nigeria would be reserving everything for final so maybe they play boring semi, but in the final for sure they want to win it before Extra Time.

I gave same predictions to both semis. I hope no penalties as I hate picking draws!!

Fully support decision About Question 6, even tho personally I feel a little bit meh. I want to always win points fairly, if I win or lose, I must know it's my own effort and so I will always give in to max fairness to my opponent.

However let me rant a little here lol

The forum deadline has always always been unfair to me for 3 seasons. In fact the VAR came out because of the unfairness to those who submit early in case to miss deadline, but IIRC also because of the timezone (forum deadline is 1 am for me).

This season less issues because I noticed very few questions came close to deadline but past 2 seasons, many questions like for tennis had the deadlines close to the game, but if anyone could not stay up late because they have a life lol then too bad, the question would not be balanced for fairness.

I accepted the rules before, never ever got mad, but you guys understand my mehness now I'm fighting for relegation and suddenly it doesn't pay to use VAR and stay up late for this stupid question, yes of course I feel a little bit pissed lol

Harkorede gave a good example for tennis. And What if South Korea won and scored 3 goals? The question wouldn't be void, but clearly disadvantage to someone who entered 3 goals or less. I would have used VAR to change my answer if I was able.

So I don't really get this. Maybe, I would now recommend to rule out any possible questions that settle within 5 hours of deadline. If truely we care about people with timezone difference, this is the most fair.

Edit: Just for the record I answered no, even before the game finished but I have seen stats of the first half before doing it so feel a bit robbed on this one personally.

Same! I waited for this one at before going home however if I knew it would be voided if South Korea lost, I wouldn't have bothered. So I feel a bit robbed on my time out when I coulda just slept lol
483  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Seeking recommendations for decentralized exchanges (DEXs) on: February 07, 2024, 07:55:36 AM
I tried using ThorSwap or ChainFlip. They are asking me to link my wallet. Are they still non-custodial? The wallet options are bad, but I will try them later, perhaps through trust wallet. Is there a non-custodial (KYC), high liquidity, and easier way to exchange BTC --> stablecoins?

Didn't know you could do this now (swap BTC for alts), I'm going to check that out next time I need to do this. Usually I have no problems, it's just selling BTC and I can do it P2P quite easily.

Problem is when you get stuff like Tether, the only way for me that works easy is to buy BTC after depositing USDT to exchange.

So if anyone know the answer to hugeblack, it's good for me too Smiley I'm less concerned about "DEX" more concerned about non-custodial plus non-KYC.

I didn't see the new price boost system that Slissy shows, but I saw this new promo:

The biggest rewards are for 5x and I see the table of Top 50 so far is still doable, so I might try a little bit here, although probably better to get many short bets above 1.5x in live to quickly go up the table. Waiting to see some forum guys in the table Smiley

It would be the best for everyone involved to see South Africa vs DR Congo in the final. It's the matchup I'm hoping to see Smiley
I am sure there are a couple of members here who would have something to say about that. Nigeria is the most populous nation on the continent and C๔te d'Ivoire are the hosts, the wind would be in their sales.

The pool is mostly an exercise now for the rest of us. Got to have some more luck in future pools.

- Jay -

They will have the loudest atmosphere + biggest fan support for sure, but sometimes that doesn't go in a positive way for the teams involved, depends on how they deal with pressure. Some teams even do better when people are against them, but I don't know much about mentalities of South Africa or DR Congo.

If Nigeria put Osimhen on bench, we know they will play for draw, win with him in ET.
486  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: February 06, 2024, 10:59:32 AM
Good job Slissy, kinda low scoring round with 12 points for yellow cap but I guess nobody predicted all the early draws which were all high scoring too, hard to get exact. You also climbed 5 places which is so precious as the season enters 60%.

For me, only 6.5 points and saved by Manchester City exact score.

Nobody seriously believes City not gonna win the title right? Maybe another treble actually with full team healthy.

Thanks for support, mate! I have feeling that if I will relegate to Division 2 now, I will get stuck there for long. It's very competetive and it would be difficult to repeat such comeback what slaman29 did just after one season.
Yeah, having more Euroleague questions would help, but I'm trying my best. Submitted answers now.

P.S Obviously Super Bowl question is inclued, you can't miss such things. But thanks for not asking anything about Taylor Swift there LOL Grin.

Very very difficult. I had to perform in the last few rounds, and it was just by points. I'm not sure my team has energy left after this tiring season, but of course we have to try again. Now a miracle first to make it not a possibility at all, but let's see Smiley

I didn't get Taylor Swift, but she should have been there hehe

@slaman29 mate I think you still have a chance absolutely. You just need to repeat the same performance you showed in the 2nd league last season on the remaining 2 weeks.

Feels like real football, even talented teams struggle, but as long as the fun keeps happening, I don't mind division 2. I get to keep Igebotz company there too so it's not such a bad thing lol

Dang,

That's the thing with wagering, it's always crazy gambling with a lot of ups & downs, taking huge risks in short period of time, and chances for busting the bankroll (or big part of it) is always in the air. One of the reasons I don't participate in daily/weekly wagering wars anymore, the same lesson was learned too many times.

Well, 3k GT's is a lot of tickets! It's time for that awesome prize to come into the hands of someone from this forum. I am cheering for you!

I still do, Bonanza is the best time to wager. You get cashback, RPs, GTs, lottos, etc. Getting all those big amounts of lottery haven't won me anything yet though Smiley

Wait, let me understand you correctly, you mean you have 3000+  golden tickets right now, and it's still counting?

Well, hard to believe this is what you mean, but if actually it is, then that is very crazy lots of golden tickets there, might as well start saying a big congratulations to you for winning the next Lamborghini draw which should happen in less than 3 months from now

And if this is actually what you mean, and you don't mind, I would really love to see what percentage the system puts you, in the win chances, if I should guess, I did say should be around 90 to 99 percent, can't all, but will love to see, if you don't mind please.

No need to believe me, here's a screenshot Wink

It's not really crazy at all it's still not even half percent of total tickets. 99 percent? Are you kidding, you know you can see yourself how many GTs in total right:)

I have been getting more tickets every round since I started, I did go a bit overboard trying to make a super high record, I was aiming for 3k now aiming for 4k before end of round.

You guys think we will see penalties after 0-0 on both sides? I think the underdogs will try to force this to happen, right?

But you never ever know host magic. No money for me on these matches. I just need to make sure I get points in all games to keep my spot Smiley
490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: February 05, 2024, 02:11:42 PM
The goonerz are leading now thanks to some elementary mistake from Van Dijk and Allison. I think it was more of a Van Dijk mistake cause he should really be taking care of that.
Now we got to hold on for the win.

Well done for the win, I think the bookies said Arsenal were the favorites and they got it right this time.

Saw the mistakes. This was Van Dijk for sure. Alisson was coming to get it, but Van Dijk got barged and shifted Alisson. If he just took care of it instead, no problem. Why he did it when keeper has to come out of box is weird.

Third goal through Alisson legs but that's not mistake, just slow reaction. Any keeper is made by media to look bad if goal goes between legs, but it's totally normal thing happens every few saves.
491  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Top 6 Crypto Ebooks You Need to Read in 2024 on: February 05, 2024, 01:20:53 PM
I thought these were new books in 2024 lol and it's the same old books of 5 to 10 years ago Wink

To be fair, OP doesn't say anything about new or recently released book. Although i can understand some people might assume that.

These e-books/books are still relevant today and OP recommends these e-books for people who just started to use Cryptocurrency, these are timeless and worth reading at any year because their contents are classic, but OP should change the title because of the misconception that these are new releases, OP should just take take down the year to make the title relevant to the e-books he is promoting.

To be fair, OP said about 2024 which is why one would assume it means newly released books. People who want to know relevant books and evergreen ones will search for "Crypto books to read". If I wanted to know new titles I would add "2024".

Or am I wrong?

Anyway, yeah, he still hasn't answered why he's promoting books for price I can find for free. Knowledge should be free, especially ebooks!

Congratulations to my opponent casperBGD. I would have lost to anyone else anyway with my terrible performance, so I have no complaints to be relegated. All hope is not lost but impossible to win 2 games and hope everyone else loses, I really thought I would do the best but this is such a hard division.

leea-1334 needs to win to try get 1st, but I must win, and then beat darxiaomi in the final round. Come on men!!

I submitted answers including last one as form didn't allow to proceed without that. I just copied format and changed minute Smiley

Dang, after some long time of crazy luck gambling, I finally lose quite a bit on the wagering. Happened during the Bonanza period just before the weekend too lol

No complaints, lesson to be learnt as usual, you always go big and then it bites you back, but I have a lot of hope for the GTs, 3k+ tickets and counting, it's never been this high before and just 60+ days to go Smiley
495  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread 2023/2024 on: February 04, 2024, 01:31:17 PM
Btw, it looks like this round a lot of us have similar answers in the La Liga pool. Yesterday all of us got exactly one point.

And strangely nobody wanted to go with Girona no win, but their past results are concerning. Diego Simeone gave a nice interview last week published yesterday also and he was full of admiration for Girona but he said exactly what happened to them in their last few games, which is now the goals getting harder to score after campaign progresses.

I still think they have it and most neutrals want them to win (plus if they win, City will get in trouble if they get second lol) but many people will now be analyzing if it's time to start betting on them to drop points more and more.

Real Madrid Mbappe by the way, fk  Grin
496  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Italian Serie A ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread 2023/2024 on: February 04, 2024, 12:16:41 PM
FPL I never joined, I don't know English players at all, but even if La Liga had Fantasy I doubt I know how to play it well. Fantasy really needs you to know players, injuries, suspensions, etc I hardly can keep track. Are FPL players mainly same as BSFL/Superbru?
Mainly yes, but not exclusively. It is much more time consuming and requires you to think about it and plan about future a lot. To cover it properly it probably takes you much more time than even BSFL but on the other hand you have a lot of people specializing in giving info about it. For instance I listen to couple of youtubers while driving to work and get my info and stats about it that way.

On the other hand once you get hooked to Fantasy football, you are hooked for life and if I had to bet which pool has the most potential for growths I would pick fantasy one. It is much more knowledge based than Superbru pools for sure.

I have considered joining but this time thing is the biggest problem. I can actually come on this forum and even leave it open but it's something my office connection allows (all forums are allowed actually) and I even can get permission to access gambling which counts as games as long as it's not MMORPG which is banned but I'm not sure IT will be too happy if I keep adding more stuff. So that's not a problem but the time for sure is.

I follow La Liga a lot, but usually just focused on my team so even then I don't really follow individuals which I know is important for FPL + the entire league. Doing this for EPL is an even bigger challenge for me (less interest).

Superbru pools is the least knowledge based for sure. BSFL I would argue is even more than FPL because there are no influencers or FPL sites to just follow Smiley
497  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🌍⚽Sportsbet.io AFCON 2024 prediction pool discussion thread on: February 04, 2024, 10:57:52 AM
Back to AFCON, I'm sure every knows already how much of an anomaly this tournament has been, being from Africa doesn't offer the slightest of advantage as far as the SuperBRU pool is concerned.
I believe it does. Of course it isn't much but you two being from Africa probably means you at least watched some games. Furthermore it means you have more interest with the tournament and much more media coverage. I haven't read a single article about AFCON while it lasts while I daily read at least 10 regarding Premier League and at least 5 regarding my own Croatian league.

<>

Even if it is just in "I feel like I know what I am doing bias".

I agree with Trofo. I know La Liga the most, followed by everything in Europe to the same degree in the big 4/5. But judging from own performance, it's hard to say if this advantage really means anything BUT I think over long term I perform consistently bad in La Liga, mainly because of bias for Barca and against Real.

F1 pool I almost won, and it's worse than AFCON, I knew nothing about the sport, I only started reading because of the pool and until today I didn't know the full rules and never watched a single race. I followed purely odds plus past performance, and somehow did better consistently in the whole season, my first season!

I probably would be the same if there was pool for Asia Cup. I would blindly predict upset for the teams I support, Japan, S Korea etc I would never have counted Tajikistan to reach knockouts.

It's a problem but a nice one, if you think about it Smiley

Not that I have anything against them. I love Internet of Money but you should read the partner book Mastering Bitcoin, same style very interesting and very useful. Better than reading nonsense about trading.

So are you offering a free download service? Smiley I mean you're charging $8 when I know where to get it for $0 Tongue

EDIT: Stupid me didn't check which thread I'm replying to so I deleted the part that was meant for the BSFL thread Grin

Don't worry all posts are fine in Sportsbet as we are almost all the same competitors. Even in F1 when it was going I was talking about BSFL and it made sense.
Not just that it helps maybe bring few stranglers to other pools but in reality I believe all of us in these pools are well aware of everything on offer in gambling section. Of course it gets a bit stupid if whole conversations spring up from that off topic post but some references and short replies I would argue are even beneficial.

If I remember, most of my awareness from the pools came from non-related threads anyway or rather, like F1 probably came from a discussion thread IIRC.

IT's definitely not what the good posters do, derail conversations, but the best ones you pay attention to even if it seems off topic, it's always referencing the same mentality of gambling.

BSFL after all is sports fanatic, so covers everything. If I had a thread and BSFL people commented in there about their relations, I would love it, it brings attention to my thread Smiley

it is a solid lead, if I may say
what are expected numbers in the end?

have AFC to win with a small difference, so keeping fingers, but slaman29 is on AFC to win 4+, so both of us far from point here

No idea, it's an event more than sport. I think NFC team is a bit better, I also asked my friend who is a huge NFL fan and he agreed.
Doesn't mean a thing though, but I kinda feel that I'm well placed at this point. A lot of it still to be played though.

Damn, I thought it would be a total domination, but then again, everything I read was sided towards that. If you Google enough you find 50-50 articles saying either side is stronger, in the end, that's all we can do. Follow somebody's opinion lol

I honestly don't care when things settle, slowly over week feels nice but blocked up weekend is also cool. I'll lose either way it seems  Grin
