501  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Exmarkets scam me for 2000 usd on: January 20, 2024, 05:37:05 PM
I don’t know why there is not any scam accusation on this forum against this exchange already.
There is at least one scam accusation against[1] them showing in google way back 2019. Knowing that there's little to zero scam accusations against that means that there's almost no users of them here, except you which has not so little amount in there.

...I don't know how you missed that warning on CMC that says "We have received multiple reports of some users being unable to withdraw their funds. Please exercise caution and do your own research (DYOR)!"
I can confirm that's on coinmarketcap

I will surely raise a flag and contact CMC for delisting.

Edit

Added a flag here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2526793
Flag supported !!!

502  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The worst situation you're in that you regret that you learn about gambling on: January 20, 2024, 04:07:38 PM
So far, i didn't know someone who has worst situation in gambling here in my area, i only heard such things on adults(someone they knew), online, news, and in this forum.

An irresponsible gambler can never be trusted with funds because nomatter how in control such a chronic gambler would be, he would definitely lost out of control and tempers with the entrusted fund.
This, even such person was rehabilitated, i guess you will have trust issue to lend some funds to this person again, in a way that maybe this person will get addictive again,

he cares for what his friend would think and that's enough for him to go to rehab as suggested by that friend.  he is lucky to have a friend who didn't get mad for what he did because not many people will think that way. spending someone else money on gambling is already a clear sign that a person needs help. if it gets worse, robbing someone at gunpoint is not unusual for a gambling addict. i have not been to such a situation thank godness.
It sounds like that the "addicted" friend is not yet worst in terms being addict, because if someone has compulsive gambling disorder heard such suggestion, it will probably get insulted and will do things you can't imagine.

Not really much similar case because it doesn’t involve someone money but I manage to lose my hard earned salary that was supposed to be for my quarterly insurance payment that is about to due.
(Off-topic) What's the best thing to get in insurance? Coz i know there's an insurance with one payment that has a year cover (which i currently have), and a quarterly payment. Both have almost the same benefits, annual payment is sure cheaper than the quarterly.
503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does it looks responsible as woman telling husband you gamble? on: January 20, 2024, 03:08:18 PM
The point is my husband doesn't know that i have been secretly gambling and involving myself with gambling discussions and the rest, So, this morning when i woke something in me keeps telling me i should let him know to understand my involvement  to practice gambling.

Does this worth telling him or not please i need you collective ideas.
As someone's husband, i always tell her that i do this and i do that, currently doing this and previously did that. There's nothing wrong about telling it, as long as you didn't make loans for gambling and never sold things that came from your savings. Especially the things you mentioned since you're the kind of person who knows how to control and manage things (based on what you have said), I think he deserves to know those things as your husband.

It should still save without clicking the preview button. The explanation on the drafts page says that "Drafts are saved whenever you preview or post a topic, post, or PM"
That's good to know, looks like i'm living a lie since then huh. I really though it only works just like that, since there's a note below "Click preview to save a draft." below the "Post" and "Preview" button. Without knowing there is a brief description in the draft page.
I stand corrected.
505  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin, pangalawa sa pinakamalaking ETF. Nilagpasan ang Silver on: January 19, 2024, 11:59:19 PM
506  Other / Meta / Re: Find a deleted post that contains a specific text on: January 19, 2024, 11:43:53 PM
Even if the Op don’t click on review if the OP tries to post and their is a warning/reminder message of new member replies as the Op was typing the message will also be saved in the draft,
You are right, but that's only possible if the OP never change the default settings because such thing can be ignored (alert when there is new reply after clicking the post button) if it was set on the profile settings.
507  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Aviator is no longer provablyfair. Spribe turned to scam on: January 19, 2024, 11:11:20 PM
You have no proof which stand on your side and oppose the site that has been accused. If you have any proof then please share the details. You have nothing said about the scam amount and/or scam payment method and how they scammed you.
There's no scam accusation here, I bet the OP is just warning us in terms of the change of the algo of their game. The change of probably fair into none is too suspicious without them announcing it if its "true". Although i won't agree just yet when there's no proof shown like the chat logs, the result when using the probably fair verifier using the seed (server/client), hash, etc. from Spribe itself.
508  Other / Meta / Re: Find a deleted post that contains a specific text on: January 19, 2024, 10:55:54 PM
If it is not more than 7 days old then you may find it on your draft list.
Here is the link to check.
This is only possible if the OP clicked the "preview" button before posting it then got deleted later on. Else it won"t save on that page, the only way is check the archive tools mentioned already above.
509  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why they need a license if bitcon is not money? on: January 19, 2024, 10:28:12 PM
"Crypto casinos" are not yet regulated anywhere, the one being regulated is running the "casino" itself, whether it is a accepting cryptocurrency or not. That's why there are options to pay via fiat in other ways. And who else doesn't wants to run a "licensed" casinos when getting them is very cheap.
510  Economy / Gambling / Re: MEGA:PARI |SPORTS & CASINO| SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN on: January 19, 2024, 02:01:51 PM
Hey. Could you please specify where exactly you found the link which was blocked?
This one right below is the page screenshot after clicking the image URL in OP. It's because of this domain used as your ad/url click tracker.
Code:
refpaiozdg.top
You can see that domain in this list[1] where uBlock origin based its list of block ad servers.

511  Economy / Gambling / Re: How Crypto casino market themselves? on: January 18, 2024, 11:08:47 PM
I am curious to know who are their targeted audience and at what age group. In general gambling people target countries like thailand more but probably this is not the case with crypto. Do they target nerds or total dumbs? How efficient they are between their marketing tactics?

I think the target is anyone over the age of 18 and targets anyone located in a non-banned country
Probably yes, there's nothing specific on this especially gambling ads about your personality. Basic things like 18 and location is the main target. Now if they get successfully to promote in say facebook ads or google ads, then it's easy for them to located their target such interest of the users. In facebook ads you can set anything that to get the highest result of impressions and possible clicks and visit to your URLs, these are the users who usually watch sports related videos, some time of games, etc.
512  Local / Pamilihan / Re: 1xbet Scamming Pilipino sportbettors on: January 18, 2024, 05:30:02 PM
But despite of these, marami paring mag po-promote niyan na mga mukang perang vloggers. Kada video at comment eh may link na referral link nila.
At ang dami paring tumatangkilik knowing na napakaraming ng bad reviews, well, ang "lalaki" kase ng bonus which is daming ang nasisilaw, kung baga greedy talaga ang tao pag pera usapan.
513  Economy / Services / Re: Free shared hosting for Bitcointalk members. on: January 18, 2024, 05:06:21 PM
Free shared hosting for Bitcointalk members.

Post your requirements for disk space and bandwidth. No backups, no guarantee (but you get "best effort").

I don't think it is worth it, back up is very important for any webmaster, it's part of what they are paying for in case there is an error there is no way to retrieve your site data, all your efforts in creating your site will go to waste if there is no backup.
I don't know what you mean by best effort when there is no guarantee, you never offer something that has no guarantee when it comes to hosting, this is a big disaster for a webmaster.
Since auto backup doesn't have on some hosting package but it's possible to backup the site's database using cron jobs scheduler. Only if OP's hosting plan has it.

To those someone who wants to try, don't use this free hosting offer to save confidential data. A static website, web tool, or dynamic blog is enough, not the the complex websites like ecom site. But to those who wants to build a small project this is a steal offer.
514  Economy / Gambling / Re: MEGA:PARI |SPORTS & CASINO| SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN on: January 18, 2024, 02:15:46 PM
Just got here because of the "signature campaign" on the thread's subject when this was on gambling section. And saw that this was ann thread, so yeah, that was effective as click bait.

After clicking the images' link in the OP i was redirected to uBlock blocked warning page, probably because the OP's link used was a known tracker for URLs probably UTM sources. It's not necessary to change it but it will give a shocked/confused face to users who are fond of using adblockers when accessing the link, thinking it is a different site.
It's a concern. One solution is to use a direct link but using a direct link will not allow to check the result of a promotion which is important for marketing. Do you have a suggestions to avoid adblockers?
Best way is to do it with the site's own server/domain and developed/coded with the all the tracker (referrers, browser, datetime, click_id, ad_id, utm_sources, utm_mediums, etc.) although it may need some resources (both in finance and server resources).
Because most ad blockers block tracking URLs by their domains or known domain/urls used by these trackers. This works the same on affiliates accounts.

516  Economy / Gambling / Re: Joya.Casino| Rewarding Casino| Huge Welcome and VIP Bonus| 20% Weekly CashBack on: January 18, 2024, 09:06:59 AM
Good news for all Bitcoin forum members related to Joya Casino. KYC verification will not be necessary for crypto currencies. We discussed about this matter and came to conclusion that we want to make the life easier if you decide to be part of Joya's family.
That's rare to happen for a licensed casino not asking KYC especially for cryptocurrency payments, is this both deposit and withdrawal right? How long this will last though?

But you will still asking KYC to other kind payments, with same requirements mentioned by you earlier? IMO KYC should be still required at least only for ID not the utility bills.
517  Other / Off-topic / Re: First time creating a wi-fi voucher topology for public on: January 17, 2024, 11:58:13 PM
I don't understand how it works sir and if I can ask of course I want to be able to control it sir, are you used to doing this? for me this is a new thing. I am confused about where to do it because I have no basic cyber security education or experienced people in this security field. If I can learn independently here according to certain steps, of course I can save time and don't need to spend extra money to attend a bootcamp whose roundown is an online course and not directly to the core of the topic I want, so it's an additional burden for me.
Every wifi routers/modem have their admin access, you can see it everything there and do stuff or anything. Some malicious admins do something different, of course with some different tools i'm not going to mention. Accessing the admin access/page is something hidden in default, but you can try Google your specific unit and follows what they are trying to do.
518  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLING DISORDER on: January 17, 2024, 11:40:16 PM
I can't imagine thos who takes gambling as a source of income because gambling can and will never be a source of income, that is the reason why I never take anyine who take gambling so serious as a jokers because under normal circumstances, gambling should be for fun and because of the uncertainty of gambling results, no one should rely on it to make a particular directions, so for best possible position, one need to mentain that position of only gambling for the fun of it and not to make any gain from it since behaving or acting that way only increase your chances of getting disappoited.
That why it's crazy if you think about it, whatever the reason the gambler have. I never thought of doing like that too because the probability that you will lose more if you stay longer in the casino rooms it too much higher. The ones who gain profit are the luckiest in the room, and not everyone does that. That's why gambling is labeled as an "entertainment" because it should be treat it like that.
519  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLING DISORDER on: January 17, 2024, 10:55:00 PM
This kind of thoughts is gone crazy if you take gambling as source of income. Whatever statistics or strategy do you make there will be higher chance that you still loss, especially on common games like dice, slots, etc. You could always think there's a manipulation going when you loss. Unlike if you are in sports betting. Where the points of team or individuals are the one who is going to decide for the win, although it's not always the case.
520  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Bingo Plus Discussion on: January 17, 2024, 05:34:21 PM
panong kinaumagahan kabayan? iniiwan nyo bang naka auto bet ang game? or naiiwanan nyong running ang game then auto bets sya?sorry interesado kasi ako laruin pero tinitingnan ko muna ang legitimacy nito.
Nope, iniwan lang naka open since matagal matapus ang laro since we are talking about bingo, parang natulugan lang ganun. Kase we are talking about bingo, mag ro-roll sila ng 40-45 rolls ata so need mo matapus ang laro at manalo base sa cards na meron ka at magkano bet per cards mo mag bi-base yung panalo mo sa sa pattern din.
