For me, whether rich or poor people make no difference if they can't control themselves when gambling and still have high curiosity, then at that time they will be trapped in gambling games, so just changing the mindset will help us get stuck in gambling addiction, for example change the goal of gambling not for money anymore but to seek pleasure so that it is easier to enjoy every game and win.
Usually, richer people are more disciplined than the poor ones, that's why they get to that feet. Poor people are worst if get addictive in gambling, they will start to lend, maybe lied and lend in money and covered with lots of debts, worst is to commit crime just to get money. On the other hand rich have lesser chance to do those crimes but the chance are still high. I remember what happened to dnpthree that he gamble the money of his investors without them knowing it. What a mess up.

after this encounter, I decided to bring this question too to the Bitcoin community itself so I would hear from other traders like myself. What is your opinion about this would you quit your job and go into Bitcoin investment, considering it as a full-time hustle?
Rich people don't settle in one source of income. They become rich because they have multiple business, multiple investments, and their own jobs. You don't need to settle and work full time on investments or trading if you can work your job fulltime and sideline, investments should be just side hustle.

Few days ago, I came across a topic on this forum discussing that ledger now gives customers to option to store their wallet seed phrase through a cloud service within the wallet, several users, not just on this forum but also outside this forum, expressed deep concern as no one is sure any longer on the true privacy of the ledger hardware wallet..
This is more likely a security concern than privacy. It said an "option" but you can chose to ignore it. I don't know what kind of thoughts Ledger have when they can't held responsible of the customer data breached incident happened to them before and now they will try to have a service to "protect" their users on their very own storage cloud service, the audacity.

If i have the same thoughts and expectations of my reports i will feel the same, but at the end of the day i will still consider the "Note" written the report page, so i don't have a choice.

I want to ask if as banks offer loans to individuals, companies even to the government, does Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrencies or exchange offer loan service? If yes, what is some criteria that may be required?
Bitcoin is not a Bank that can offer services. If you mean if there are companies offers Bitcoin lending, yes there is. And guess what, most companies who offered lending with cryptocurrency filed bankruptcy last year and earlier this year, there are lots of them actually who cannot bear the bear market which is unfortunate that most people lost funds and jobs too.

About sa investment, never ako nag advise ng ganito or ganyan bilhin mo. Sinasabi ko lang yung anung alts ang binili ko kapag tinanong ako pero never ako nag sabi na, "uy bilhin mo ito kase tataas ito after few weeks" lol. Baka ako pa balikan if di maganda result.

Sa more than 5 years kong active in this space ay never ako naka experienced ng mag buy and sell p2p ng bitcoin or any cryptocurrency IRL, kaya wala akong ma s'share about that.
Related naman sa tax percentageng crypto, ang max lang na reasonable ay 32% mostly ay 30% lang. The same sa traditional business tax and sa employee. Kaya ang 60% pang aabuso nalang at napaka unreasonable at di makatao ang ganyang figure.

What pros and cons do you see when scalping Bitcoin vs. other assets such as NASDAQ.
Pros: Like other pros in bitcoin trading, as bitcoin is too volatile scalping could be very easy and profitable but still depends in your skills, risk management strategies. Cons: same like any crypto trading, volatility as it could be a pros, it could be a cons especially in a bear market. But for todays market i guess you could be fine just still depends on your trading skills.

Because privacy become more uncommon these days, from different crypto regulations and the rise of chain analysis. Also, there's a huge market in crypto mixers, not just for bitcoin but for some alts too.

So why do people in the first play in such casinos?I will never understand this,we have this very section where all ANN threads of each casino if it is a crypto one is mostly here and from such list anyone can read the ANN threads and make his own conclusions after reading the material.
You won't know how people thinks unless it happened. There should be some point where the users find it more like going to play on such casino, maybe bonus, higher odds, etc except the reputation. Besides that, not all people jave an account on this forum to check the casino's reputation here. Well, it's their sole responsibility to have a thorough research, a simple google will shown you a bunch of review results on how casino operates. But if it was neglected, then a bad outcome will probably inevitable.

I'm not against your way of promoting your referral code and get more referrals, but do you think anyone here doesn't know binance yet for them to accept your offer? Knowing that binance is too popular and probably those who accept their terms and way of operating especially for those who are okay to provide their personal details are probably are registered already there.

I guess the whole forum is down for the past few hours which only theymos can tell what actually had happened. I hope he did actually fix the things up or this is just related to server downtime and got fixed by the registrar or something.

A decent reputation should be the first priority, my favorite games/sports to bet should be there, decent odds and lastly deposit options, altcoins with lower fees should be accepted not just bitcoin knowing some alts csn be confirmed in just a matter of seconds or few minutes.
Nothing i can think yet for others, i dont care about kyc, i can play a kyc required or not sportsbook afterall.

That is why whenever a site share the bonus or any other offer, everyone should gain good knowledge about that site before restoration or opposite. Until good information about that site is available, there should not be deposit. Moreover, I agree with you in any such case, one should definitely deposit a small amount of deposit first time, if that site get scammed you will loss all the assets so the maximum caution should be taken in this case.
You are right. New casinos usually attract new customers by offering high rewards and interesting promotions that are, most of the time, too good to be true. Unfortunately, many gamblers get lured by those fake promises and deposit too much money in hope to get a huge reward. At the end, they don't get any thing and their money get stolen by the scam casino. Gamblers should be more cautious and wait for reviews from more experienced users before sending their money to unknown persons. Well, most casino promotions are too good to be true actually so it's not new to anyone. Especially to a new casino who are trying to build their reputation. So you can't just decide a casino is suspicious or scam because of its promotions but for the past reviews it has. If it doesn't have review since its new, check their community in social media especially on this forum, if the representative is active promoting it here then it's safe to try at least a little deposit. Don't just barge and deposit a large amount in a new site. There are many incidents of a reputed casino become shitty because of its unfair terms, that's why become so wary trusting them especially a new one.

That's true, to be specific you need to own private key/in control of at least one receiving address.
Oh thanks, i thought you can only do CPFP on transactions you sent as sender, not the other way around but im wrong, thanks for the clarification.
|
|
|
If OP is the receiver, he could perform CPFP either with built-in wallet CPFP feature or doing it manually by creating new transaction which select input/UTXO from currently unconfirmed transaction with very high fees. But if OP isn't in hurry to and the fee rate isn't very low, waiting probably is good option.
I thought CPFP is only possible when you are in control the wallet/private key of the transaction you are trying to perform CPFP?
|
|
|
The way to speed up your transactions are depends on the wallet you used, if you use a non custodial wallet which have RBF feature enabled, you can bump the fee. If you're using a non custodial wallet which not have such feature or using a custodial wallet, you can do it by yourself.
I heard you can accelerate your transaction using third party help e.g. viabtc, but it seems it's not a free service
What i understand on OPs situation is that he is the receiver from his shoppy.gg account's payout to his wallet in which all you've mentioned are impossible. Also, viabtc is free accelerator with paid option. As for OP's option only is to use a free accelerator that viabtc offers that i don't think any services offer the same. But if it cannot be accelerated in viabtc due to its minimum requirements i guess that there's nothing OP can do but to wait. Unless shoppy.gg accelerate the transaction by using paid service or rebroadcast if RBF is enabled. The thing is they should do it already knowing that those transactions sent since march. Technically it should be dropped by the network already, but if the transactions are still exists and still pending, unfortunately it means you still need to wait til it get at least 1 confirmation because there's no other option for you but to wait.

Try to list your problem about them, what you did and what they have done to you as well. Your post is not clear, so we can't identify what are the issues. Try to make screenshots and use the sites for image uploading mentioned above. Make sure that you wont include confidential details such as email, etc.

So is gambling debt one way or other possible without the person taking loan or borrowing money?
I have read much about the credit system in some developed nations and it is effective. People can purchase almost anything with credit cards. But in my country, we don't have effective credit systems so it might be difficult to have such gambling credit facilities. Yeah, i've heard this from someone i knew in US about their credit system where all accredited lending company knows everything your debt from different companies so it's easy to track if someone is a good payer or not before accepting it's credit card application in gambling or on different platforms. But like you've said not all countries have this kind of credit system. So it's not recommended to just lend a gambler for an amount that the platform is not sure to lend them or not. It might be beneficial to both parties in terms of usage, company and entertainment but the effect will cause worst outcome if the lendee won't pay properly.
