Although yung list is to avoid scams at hacks pero those are existing way ng hacks at scams to be avoided.

Yung #1, if you are aware sa mga latest android phones even kahit sa lollipop version ay may option na if anu gagawin mo once naka connect ang chord either charging or transferring files. So di mangyayari yan unless piliin mo ang transfer option, which is if meron ibig sabihin kaya ma transfer files mo without you knowing it.

#2 If hindi ito galing sa mga establishments free wifi, wag na mag connect, at use VPN always for safety. Mostly, phishing links lang ang mga yan, so if aware ka itsura and ways to login ng mga sites make sure double check. Pero if you are using PC to connect public wifi na may malware nga, madali ma infect yan kesa sa gamit ng smartphones since mas secured ang mga latest security patch ng mga smartphones ngayon.

#3 Common ito, pero marami paring nabibiktima kase parang nag mamadali tao mag login, iba din kase pag mga social engineering na to fool users lalo na pag almost the same login page ng site.
1422  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin network fee´s insanly high at the moment! on: May 05, 2023, 11:19:54 PM
I believe the increase of transactions from BRC-20 tokenization is root cause of this. The same scenario of ETH and other coins with tokens on their mainchain. Too many pending transactions, higher recommended fees and longer confirmation of previously sent txs smh.
Possible if yung government natin dito is magkaka interes dyan for another set of income in the future since sila naman may hawak ng mga electric source natin, possible din sa mga private sectors or coop. Pero as of now wala pang ganun or any news related to that. Or any individual na merong mining farm kahit in solar form of energy.
1424  Other / Meta / Re: Great addition for reports -- Age of a post on: May 05, 2023, 10:59:05 PM
That's a good one, as i see some users getting smashed with deleted posts notification from posts of 3-5 years ago, worst is much longer. I don't know how reporters have that kind of motivation in reporting from that timeline of posting though.
The multi-posting is probably the reporting of old bumps of a user (probably newbies on its service or selling threads) each post instead of the reporting the thread itself.
1425  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A nob in trading needs help on: May 05, 2023, 10:50:52 PM
But at this point, I will really like to know whether or not Bitcoin trading is a means to gain profits during market speculations, and how possible it is to make passive income through cryptocurrency trading.
You can make profit in any kind of market trends, either its down or up trend, it depends on the trader.
Also, i don't think there is so called passive income in trading, trading needs manual way to do things to make it possible.
Possible if you can refer users to register on specific trading platform using your link.
1426  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: crypto stuck on gmail on: May 04, 2023, 11:32:14 PM
But why would you set up a fake recovery number and secondary email for an email address that potentially holds keys to your investments?
Just for the sole purpose of filling the requirements even though those are non-existent, i bet.

Honestly, storing your backup and login information on a third-party mail service was not a smart move in the first place. You should know better than to rely on external providers for something as important.
I did it too actually, but only for some kind of accounts not for financial related. Although i do every backups of the email, from email backup, phone, keys and 2fa just in case.
1427  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is it time for Old Signature campaigns to redesign? on: May 04, 2023, 11:21:41 PM
It could be the right time for some old signature campaigns to redesign their signatures. Before now, the most appealing signature to me used to be the chipmixer signature.
...
Do you think it's time for some old signature campaigns to wear a new better look. These could give the participants some feelings of renewed energy, you never can tell. I wouldn't want to mention names because this is associated with brands.
What do you think?
Can you mentioned what signature campaigns are using "old signature" based on your taste or the "old" you are referring? Crypto.games might be the oldest active campaigns but their signature doesn't look bad, besides that updating signatures means another budget should be allocated.
1428  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop comparing BTC to FIAT. FIAT is dying every single day. on: May 04, 2023, 11:08:11 PM
But in the end you will still end up using fiat to buy things you want and need instead of bitcoin knowing its not yet accepted in any major physical stores and small vendors.
Topics like this encourage the comparison between fiat and btc instead. But yeah, comparing two different things and different purpose is pretty useless.
1429  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a more pronounced and researched Cryptocurrency. on: May 04, 2023, 10:16:57 PM
I could hope they also researched on how to keep their wallet, accounts, private keys and seed safe, including how to backup it. We maybe in fast phase stages of digitalization but usually people end up getting hacked or scammed because of greediness and being know-nothing how security works. Because owning bitcoin/crypto is being responsible as managing your own bank, if you don't know and doesn't want to do those responsibilities, you would end up lossing your money over time.
1430  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: crypto stuck on gmail on: May 04, 2023, 10:06:03 PM
my privatekey logins to crypto is encrypted with a pgp message on my gmail,I forgot the password and was retarded enough to put some random email / phone number as recovery and ended up being locked out of the account for years now im wondering if anyone serious can point my in the right direction? Already tried the online form 100s of times but is there any real help I can get from google without sending upfront payments to random scammers.
Then that's unfortunately cannot be recovered. If you don't know or have all the asked recovery options then easy to say you can't recover it. Brute force attack may be an option but if you don't what it is and how to do it, well, it's the end of it.
1431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another side of Sports betting you may not know about on: May 03, 2023, 11:54:56 PM
I do think it is a factor when your team discovers that majority of the people betted against your team. Not only do you lose morale but you also have this urge to join the bet yourself, thereby losing games more for the sake of money. I guess this is what they call "game fixing" where players are also involved in the betting process and they intentionally lose or throw the game to win money on their gambling accounts.
Its becoming to be a rigged game not by someone huge to pay to certain player but an individual decision which is more scary than people think because its the player's decision and probably its a against their sport ethics, policy of its agency and by laws related to it.
1432  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: increasing number of transactions due to Brc-20? on: May 03, 2023, 11:37:38 PM
I just heard this and it sounds like a huge problem for the future transaction fees as it doesn't use any sidechain like lightning. Sooner or later bitcoin will face the same problem like the eth and other smart-contracts enabled blockchain regarding the higher fees and longer transaction confirmation.
1433  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The purchase Bitcoin during its early stages. on: May 03, 2023, 11:21:18 PM
Nothing but trust, users before doesn't see any guarantee and assurance that bitcoin will rise on this peak.
If i were one of those people i will do so the same. If you will read its whitepaper you will understand why people before trusted and believe this tech.
1434  Other / Meta / Re: forum's colors are changed? on: May 02, 2023, 03:59:25 AM
What do you mean shiny and hearting white. I logged and active on that 3 days but i observed nothing had changed. Check your device screen if something has changed instead.
1435  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you had a time traveling machine, then? on: May 01, 2023, 11:54:35 PM
Never have taught about it but if there's a possibility for that i'll just want to get back way back in ATH in 2017 where i started here and earned much more BTC back then but just hodl it until, it decreased and still hoping it will bounce back, until it didn't happened. Lol
1436  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTCUSA.com is live!! 🔥 plz rate it from 1-10 🙏 on: May 01, 2023, 11:38:36 PM
Nothing special, just a common blog website. But i still commend you having a good domain name, but it sounds like an exchange than a blog. But anyway, try to make it have a higher rank in google search so at least you get ROI more sooner and create great quality contents because you have higher spam score after i checked your DA/PA rankings as the effect of having an old registered domain.
1437  Other / Meta / Re: Account rank and posts on: April 30, 2023, 11:53:00 PM
This is one of the reasons why newbies has avatars because of deranking when posts from (full member account and above) are deleted either by themselves or by the forum mods.
1438  Economy / Reputation / Re: Why I will use this account until I recover my account on: April 30, 2023, 11:47:20 PM
Instead of waiting for the admin (theymos)'s response, I would recommend you to send him a PM daily regarding your case for better odds of getting attention from him.
I will refrain doing that, you can do twice or thrice a week but daily could end up spamming his inbox. Besides i guess cyrus' team is the ones responsible in recovering accounts.
1439  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [Table] Crypto Exchanges Assets Transparency on: April 30, 2023, 11:39:22 PM
So there is a site like this, any proof of the accuracy that the numbers shown in the site are correct? I see there is no source in there, or maybe just an API shows the same from sites like cmc if it came from cmc or where.
1440  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: SIM Registration: Anong Dapat Ipag-alala? on: April 30, 2023, 03:28:51 PM
Exactly, matagal na nga ang 5 minutes, at sabihing man na little to zero ang internet sa ibang province to brgy. or sitio, eh kahit once a week labas naman for the sole purpose ng pag register ng sim.
